3 Secrets to Increasing Your Team’s Sales Performance

3 Secrets to Increasing Your Team’s Sales Performance

The biggest mistake you can make as a Salon Owner is to assume your team knows how to sell. After all, they are trained to do hair or beauty, right? Not how to be a salesperson and actually they often don’t want to be a salesperson. So even when you have clients coming through the door, and you have a full team of stylists, you aren’t seeing the growth you had hoped for… and as the Salon Owner, you end up with the most sales, consistently rebooking clients, and keeping the business afloat. But if all the pressure to make the most relies on you, the owner, what happens when you want to get free from clients for one moment to work ON their business?! You end up losing more than it’s worth and you’re stuck on the floor 60 hours a week, busier than ever. This doesn’t have to be the case. You can move off the floor, work less hours with clients, and STILL see growth in your business! I want to introduce you to my amazing Salon Mastery & Momentum Success Coach, Amy Osmer. Amy has years of experience working in Salons, managing large teams, and working behind the scenes of large format salon groups within the Hair & Beauty industry. Amy is an expert in helping owners increase their Salon’s Sales and leading their teams to succeed so that they can stop the “60-hours-on-the-floor”, weekly grind. In this episode, Amy and I are going to share our top 3 strategies for getting your team to make more, without you having to work more and add more to your plate…in fact, after this episode, you will be able to see how to work LESS in your business, and still see your sales skyrocket! After implementing these strategies, our Salon Mastery & Momentum Program Owners have grown their weekly sales, while reducing their weekly hours on the floor….we just celebrated end-of-year awards with some having 66% growth in 12 months. Here are three reasons why you should listen to the full episode: Discover how to get your team to make more without adding more to your plate Learn the secret to increasing sales and stopping the weekly 60 hours on the floor grind Get a sneak peek at our Salon Mastery-approved sales strategies Inner Salon CEO Snapshot: CLICK HERE to get your hands on it Let's chat… I'd like to chat with you a bit more about your business and how I may be able to help you. Revealed: The Greatest Challenge of a Salon CEO

Revealed: The Greatest Challenge of a Salon CEO

I often compare Salon ownership to an ongoing game of Tetris. You’re always trying to move the pieces around: your team, your sales, and your clients, to make them fit perfectly together and win the game of mastering a successful business. The challenge of this is that the pieces are always moving and are unpredictable (humans!!) and while the more experience you have in running a Salon, the more ‘in control’ things feel, there is still lots of uncertainty, you often wonder what will happen next…what move will you have to make…. It’s not often I get to introduce a guest on my podcast for the 5th time…but Stevie is an exception! I am so excited to have Stevie English back on my podcast to share his secret to building an incredible team culture, a growing clientele, and most importantly the secret to looking after YOU as the CEO so you feel in control of your business even when shit hits the fan! Stevie with 15 years of industry knowledge, chats on how to keep your team happy and your business thriving without having to sacrifice your life & freedom. Stevie is a master of Salon Ownership, so I know you’ll love everything he has to say…. The Hard Truth About Your Salon’s Culture

The Hard Truth About Your Salon’s Culture

As a Salon Owner, it can be so easy to get sucked into what I call “shiny object syndrome”, especially when you first open your business…press pause on that team retreat for now! You’re ready to hit the ground running, and do all the things you have always wanted to when stuck behind the chair working for someone else. You feel like a kid in a candy store, right?!! But in my perspective, this can be a big mistake. Less is always more, especially when you’re first starting out in Salon Ownership. It’s important to build strong foundations in your salon business so that you don’t have to backtrack and backfill once you have grown. One core ingredient of a successful business that you need to get clear on at the start, is your culture. The thing that makes the wheels go round. I know building a strong team culture can feel tricky for a lot of owners. Like, you worry that if your culture isn't strong enough... your team might not stay around, you might not be able to hire new team members and it will affect the overall feel and reputation of your Salon. Like, you know that everyone wants to work for someone that has a great reputation! I know you might be asking, “okay but what does an amazing culture look like?” So, I want to introduce you to Tara Hainsworth - the owner of the successful Salon, Hainsworth & Company. Tara has nailed the secret recipe to team culture and what successfully grew her team from 2 to 20. Tara is going to share her strategies around how to build an amazing team culture so that your team won’t leave… and how to be flexible in your business. It’s time to do less, but do it better and establish the core of your business before you can grow… Here are three reasons why you should listen to the full episode: How to build an amazing team culture Learn Tara’s secret for how to get your team to stick around and love working for you Discover the first thing to implement when you open your Salon Inner Salon CEO Snapshot CLICK HERE to get your hands on it Let's chat… I'd like to chat with you a bit more about your business and how I may be able to help you. Why a Good Team Member Stops Performing

Is this you? Your current team doesn’t want to work Saturdays or late nights, and they aren’t hitting their targets, yet come to you asking for a pay rise… OMG are they serious?! And when you try to hire someone new, it’s crickets! It seems like nobody wants to work these days…is this familiar? So to make up for it, you have to pull the weight for your team… you’re putting in all the hours, saying yes to all the clients…you have a large team, and yet, your Salon still isn’t growing… It always feels like 2 steps forward, 3 steps back. You’re going round and round an ongoing loop with your team and your business hitting a plateau, and you feel like this is never going to end. You find yourself asking, what is all of this for? You’re the highest earner, the one who is left mopping the floors at the end of the day… But this isn’t what you imagined Salon Ownership being, right? No! This isn’t what Salon Ownership should look like… and believe me, I’ve been on that side of running a business, and it’s exhausting and you are left feeling unfulfilled and burned out. I want to share with you one of my favourite team management strategies, which I taught my owners within our Salon Mastery Program during my 2-day Intensive. It’s all about the 3 step secret in how to get your team to want to work Saturdays and late nights! It’s time for you to ditch this way of working, and move into your role of Salon CEO, and to do this you need a growing team that is bringing in amazing clients and revenue for your Salon. Here are three reasons why you should listen to the full episode: Discover how to get your team to LOVE working late nights and Saturdays Learn my secrets to getting your team to hit their targets How to move off the floor, without everything falling apart. Inner Salon CEO Snapshot CLICK HERE to get your hands on it Let's chat… I'd like to chat with you a bit more about your business and how I may be able to help you. Can’t Trust Your Salon Manager?

Can’t Trust Your Salon Manager?

Is your Salon Manager really helping the business move forward, or are they instead hindering the future success of the Salon? As the Salon Owner, you already have too many tabs open. You’re thinking about a million different things and you have a to-do list that is never-ending. Your role is to lead your business and ensure that it continues to grow, which is why you need a right-hand man, or what we, in this industry, call a Salon Manager. When hiring a salon manager, the goal is to find someone to manage the hustle of daily operations in the Salon, and help carry the weight of leading the team, so that you can step away from working IN the business, and instead work more ON the business. But this isn’t always as picture-perfect as it seems…can you relate? Whilst you’d hoped that hiring a Salon Manager was going to be the answer to all your problems, it’s actually ended up being an even bigger headache… The jobs aren’t getting done, you’re doing more than ever, and you can’t actually trust them to look after the Salon when you aren’t there. So what is going to give? I want to introduce Greta Veint, one of our Salon Mastery Success Coaches here at Salon Owners Collective. After leading 17 Salons as a Salon Manager, (and being a total Rockstar working for me during my Salon days), Greta knows what it takes to harness an effective management role within a successful salon, and build a productive working relationship between the Salon CEO & Manager. She is the powerhouse behind our Motivating Managers program within Salon Mastery and has all the tips and tricks to help you go from frustration with your management team, to motivate managers to be confident and successful in their role... so that you can step away and the salon can continue to flourish. Your Salon Is Not as Irreplaceable as You Think

Your Salon Is Not as Irreplaceable as You Think

What do you want your Salon to be known for? Why should a client choose your Salon over the one down the road? These are the questions you need to ask yourself if you want to stand out from the rest and ensure clients choose YOU and always return… After all, we all BASICALLY offer the same thing, right?! Thinking back to my early Salon days, I remember sometimes feeling like I had to do all the things and serve all the clients to ensure they had nothing short of the best experience.,After all, I had 7 salons within walking distance, so I felt like I needed to take what I could get…those clients were valuable, right! I would spend my days putting out fires, taking on extra clients, and doing the absolute most to ensure everyone in the room was happy. But then I realised, this isn’t sustainable. It was exhausting, overwhelming, and funnily enough, didn’t bring more clients through the door… Janine Jarman aka the Queen of Perms, is the founder of Curl Cult, a product that has changed the technology and science behind perms. With over 20 years of experience in the industry as a hairstylist, educator, Salon Owner, and now CEO, Janine knows what it takes to create a unique product offering that people LOVE and will always purchase. What is special about Janine’s success is that she offers a service that is not only scalable but one that solves an immediate problem for her clients. This means her service and Salon itself, are irreplaceable. Janine is going to share with you her hot tips on how to make your Salon irreplaceable so that your clients always choose you over the one down the road. Here are three reasons why you should listen to the full episode: Discover why your clients are choosing the Salon down the road How to make your Salon irreplaceable Learn strategies to ensure clients always return Inner Salon CEO Snapshot CLICK HERE to get your hands on it (I’ll send it to you in messenger) Let's chat… I'd like to chat with you a bit more about your business and how I may be able to help you. Work Less & Make More – Becoming a “Smart” Salon CEO

Work Less & Make More – Becoming a “Smart” Salon CEO

Have you ever felt like: You’re working yourself to the bone: You’re busier than ever with clients, plus managing an ever-evolving team... You’re hardly present with your family as work has taken over your brain space… but what makes it worse is you’re not growing. But still, you end up saying YES all the time: Like when a team member needs our help with something, we jump at the chance… because we don’t want to let them down Or when a regular client wants to book with you when you’re ‘meant’ to be working ON the business (not in it)... you give in because you feel bad… Or maybe you’re guilty of having shiny object syndrome…. Are you nodding your head right now? I know I’ve been guilty of this too… But this is a HUGE mistake. Because in reality, these are often the things that will halt forward momentum in our business. As a result, you take 2 steps forward, 2 back. Your business is at a constant plateau, and you get super frustrated because you’re BUSY doing ALL the things- so you start to wonder-- ‘why am I not growing?’ You get overwhelmed and burnt out… which leads to halting progress even more. Agh! It’s a vicious cycle. In this episode, I will take you through my secret formula to increasing sales by working less (for smart salon CEOs). If you’re overworking 30+ hours on the Salon floor, and want to create what I like to call ‘CEO discipline’, and have the time to move the needle in your business, then keep listening… Plus don’t forget to grab yourself a copy of the “4 Steps to Becoming a Smart Salon CEO” strategy. Does Increasing Your Prices Make You a Better Salon Owner?

Does Increasing Your Prices Make You a Better Salon Owner?

Does self-doubt stop you from increasing your salon’s prices? You know deep down you need to put your prices up, but the thought of asking your clients to spend more just feels so daunting. What if they push back? What if they leave and never come back because they can’t afford your services? How will you equip the team to handle these objections… when you feel nervous about it yourself? Honestly, if this is you, then know that you aren’t alone. I know this is a huge challenge for so many owners. But in reality, this holds Salon Owners back from success…and reaching their full potential. Instead of feeling confident about your experience and your Salon’s prices, you instead have this overwhelming urge to compare yourself to other Salons, to discount your services, to apologise before anything has even gone wrong, all due to the fact that you’re worried that if you don’t, that client will go elsewhere. This is why I want to introduce Ruby Lee, a wealth & expense business coach helping business owners shift their mindset to “I can” & “I will” instead of being a roadblock to their own success. Ruby will share her strategies for getting comfortable with your numbers and profitability, so you can back yourself in moments when you may be doubting yourself or feeling insecure (because let’s face it, we all have these moments!) and continue to grow your million-dollar Salon. Discover the REAL reason why so many salon owners feel too scared to raise their prices, and how to combat this in your salon, once and for all. Uncover your true worth and potential as a business owner, so that you can feel confident with your decisions, and truly grow your profit to its full potential… Here are three reasons why you should listen to the full episode: Discover the real reason why so many Salon Owners don’t raise their prices How to overcome the fear of putting up your prices in your Salon Learn how uncover your true worth & potential as a business owner Inner Salon CEO Snapshot CLICK HERE to get your hands on it Let's chat… I'd like to chat with you a bit more about your business and how I may be able to help you. Motherhood & Salon Ownership: Is It Possible to Master Both?

I see you… You’re a Salon owner, but more importantly, a mother… trying to balance the juggle between spending too much time at work (away from your kids), and not having enough time to do all the things that you want to in your business. Your Salon isn’t growing, because let’s face it, you barely have enough time in your day to touch your to-do list…, let alone work on moving the needle in your business. It feels like you’re stuck extinguishing little fires all day long! And when you do find the space to work on these things, you feel the “mum guilt” creep up…and planning the next big thing gets replaced with the football final for your child’s team. It’s always either: “am I a good enough mother?” or “am I a good enough business owner?”, and you’re left wondering if you’ll ever be able to be successful in both. Can you run a successful business, have the perfect family, and be the best partner, and friend… Is it even possible to master the art of having it all? Creating Healthy Boundaries to Stop People Pleasing

Creating Healthy Boundaries to Stop People Pleasing

Do you find yourself saying YES to things that you would rather be saying NO to? I used to be guilty of this myself. That’s right, I’m a recovering YES-aholic! Like, it’s a fact… As salon owners and creative entrepreneurs (and women in particular), we try to do it all. In fact, we overdo it more than we’d care to admit. Often without even realising, we spend so much of our energy trying to please everyone, saying yes to everything that comes our way, and constantly putting ourselves last to ensure our teams, our partners, and our family are happy. But what does this leave us with? Not the feeling of success and fulfillment that we’d hoped for, but actually the feeling of burnout and exhaustion. And what good can come from you feeling like this? So it’s time we ditch this endless cycle we’ve managed to get ourselves stuck in, and create a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle, so we can continue to reach success in our salons. That’s why I want to introduce Sonya Stattmann - a business and leadership coach and host of the podcast “Women in the Business Arena”. Sonya is going to share her tried-and-tested strategies for how to stop the monster of comparison and avoid burnout and overwhelm. Here are three reasons why you should listen to the full episode: Learn how to start saying no to things that you don’t want to do Discover how to overcome burnout and overwhelm with 3 simple strategies How to conserve your energy in different parts of your life to focus on the things that matter Inner Salon CEO Snapshot CLICK HERE to get your hands on it Let's chat… I'd like to chat with you a bit more about your business and how I may be able to help you. What You ACTUALLY Need to Be Posting On Social Media

What You ACTUALLY Need to Be Posting On Social Media

Do you find it tricky to keep up with social media? You know you have to do it, but you often don’t have the time, nor the energy to really put effort into it and prioritise it. As a result, you can end up posting the bare minimum just to keep things ‘ticking along’. Hair transformation photo after hair transformation photo, before and afters of your team’s latest blonde transformation… you know the one! After all, it’s just taking one more thing off your busy to-do list. And honestly, kudos to you for getting it done when you can. But the problem with doing this all the time is that: You end up posting the same thing as everyone else. Every Salon does a full head of highlights, and every Salon has great before and afters. So what sets you apart? And you might think it’s the great work you do, and that’s definitely part of it, but there’s more to social media than posting about how good your clients look! Social Media in today’s climate is so overpopulated, so you need to find a simple way to set your salon apart from the rest. Hint: it’s more simple than you think. In this episode of the podcast, I want to introduce you to Braeley Davies, Marketing Manager and social media guru here at Salon Owners Collective. Braeley has joined me on the podcast to share with you the 3 game-changing strategies that every salon owner should be using when posting on social media if you want to set yourself apart online AND most importantly, grow your client base through social media. Keep listening to hear the incredible marketing strategies that Braeley has up her sleeve…. Here are three reasons why you should listen to the full episode: Discover how to set your Salon apart from other Salons on social media Learn marketing strategies that actually help your business grow How to create a marketing plan and stay consistent with posting Want to know the 10 Best Salon Strategies for Sales and Marketing? CLICK HERE to grab a copy of my guide Instagram Checklist: CLICK HERE to grab a copy Let's chat… I'd like to chat with you a bit more about your business and how I may be able to help you. The Salon Lifestyle Effect: “No Saturdays, No Late Nights Say What?!”

The Hair & Beauty Industry has had an undeniably huge shake up! Salons that were once thriving and growing are having to adjust considerably to suit the new industry climate… the ‘lifestyle effect’ is at large and nobody wants to work late nights or Saturdays. Your team is more demanding than ever and you’re worried that if you don’t meet their demands, they’ll leave. But then if you do give in, you’ll end up back on the floor 50+ hours a week… and you’ll be left feeling resentful! Sure, they can have the lifestyle they want, but does yours have to suffer?! It’s a total double-edged sword! This is why I want to introduce to you, my two friends, James Carlisle & Lynden James, owners of Vivo Hair & Skin Clinic. If there is anyone who is making it work against all odds…and for the most part completely unscathed, it’s these two. With over 90 salons nationwide, they have their finger on the pulse and are implementing the big-rock strategies Salon Owners need to tackle this new ‘norm’ in our industry. Even post-pandemic & pre-recession James & Lynden are reaching success, on a mission to reach 100 Salon’s by the end of the year. Let’s hear what the boys from Vivo have to say about the industry and team in particular… Here are three reasons why you should listen to the full episode: Discover the latest industry trends Learn expert advice around training apprentices and how to get them to stay with your Salon How to implement the “Lifestyle Effect” within your Salon without sacrificing your business growth. Rockstar Team Guide: CLICK HERE to get a copy Let's chat… I'd like to chat with you a bit more about your business and how I may be able to help you. Saying Goodbye to ‘Hustle Culture’ (And Why You Should, Too)

Saying Goodbye to ‘Hustle Culture’ (And Why You Should, Too)

It’s time to ditch the old way of working in the Salon… And no, I’m not talking about perms and chunky highlights… I’m talking about ditching the grind of working LOOOONG tedious hours in the Salon. I’m talking about saying goodbye to the 'hustle mindset’ that can creep up when running a business… If you are constantly feeling unfulfilled even when you reach success, or like you constantly have to work harder and do more to be successful, then listen up… This is something I see all the time with Salon Owners (and have experienced myself!). If you’re constantly looking for ‘what’s next’ without taking time out to stop, breathe, and turn around to see what you’ve accomplished, then you’re never going to feel satisfied or fulfilled. So it’s time to say bye-bye to hustle culture and HELLO to working smarter (not harder). I want you to move on from always feeling overwhelmed, overworked and stressed, feeling like what you do is never enough. Because I’ll let you in on something…it is! That’s why I wanted to bring someone in who has firsthand helped women all over the world overcome burnout, Brooke Taylor. In this episode, hear Brooke’s strategies for how to build a healthy relationship with your career, how to overcome CEO-addictions and what it takes to avoid shiny objects when reaching success. Keep listening to hear Brooke’s incredible success story and her incredible advice now… Here are three reasons why you should listen to the full episode: Learn how to heal the “success wound” you probably didn’t even know you had. Discover how to put an end to a toxic cycle with your career Learn how to feel fulfilled within your role, and the strategies you can implement to say goodbye to the hustle culture. Inner Salon CEO Snapshot CLICK HERE to get your hands on it Let's chat… I'd like to chat with you a bit more about your business and how I may be able to help you. Can Your Salon Survive Without You?

Can Your Salon Survive Without You?

Are you tired of being at the centre of your Salon? You feel like the moment you step outside the salon doors, everything starts to fall apart. You have people ringing you, texting you, emailing you… what’s next, a messenger pigeon?! (It wouldn’t be a total stretch, right? 🤣) As a result, the salon is on your mind 24/7… even when you’re not actually there! You want your team to be autonomous and self-sufficient… but you find that if you don’t do things yourself, they just aren’t done quite right… it’s a vicious cycle! Luckily, you aren’t alone. As Salon Owners, we tend to be involved in every aspect of our salons, so when we try and step away from working in the business, we get trapped! How can the Salon survive a day without you doing all the thing?! Not only this, but it can feel super lonely as a Salon Owner. You feel alone in your decisions, and the weight of the Salon rests on your shoulders… it’s a lot of pressure! How a Risktaker Re-Defined Salon Success

How a Risktaker Re-Defined Salon Success

Have you ever had someone tell you that you’ll never achieve something? That being a hairstylist will only take you so far? That there is no way that owning a salon will give you a life of freedom or profit? I did, over and over again when I owned my Salon, and boy was I determined to prove them wrong! In our industry, everyone's journey to success looks different. Whether you begin your hairdressing apprenticeship at age 16 or age 30, whether you work in a small town or are a globally recognised stylist... Everyone has their own goals and ambitions and your journey is no less successful than the Salon Owner you see on Instagram, winning awards and flying across the world. Success is actually how you define it. And I believe that reaching success comes down to a clear plan for where you want to go, a roadmap of how to get there, and having the support behind you to achieve it…oh, and don’t forget to have a little fun along the way! (Did someone say ‘wine’?!). So today, I want you to meet the globally recognised and ever-inspiring Patrick Cameron, whom I greatly admire for his dedication to this industry. Patrick was born and raised in a small town right here in New Zealand, and after 34 years in the industry, is killing it in the UK as a world-leading long hair specialist. He’s also a successful educational speaker with a training school for hairstylists and has worked with global Salon brands around the world, I know you will find Patrick’s story motivating, I know I certainly do! Legal Action: Two Words Every Salon Owner Dreads

Legal Action: Two Words Every Salon Owner Dreads

Have you ever had a client threaten legal action against you and your Salon? As a Salon Owner, I’m sure you have had had a moment (if not, a few) where you have had to deal with a situation that has gone wrong, like a really bad colouring mistake, and in return had to deal with an unhappy (and frustrated!) client. Something has gone wrong in the Salon; the service didn’t meet the expectations of the client and you are left to clean up the mess that has been left behind. Sometimes this may mean dealing with further legal action….Eeek!! Unfortunately, that is just what happens when we work in a service-based, client-based industry, or is it? Things are going to go wrong, humans are going to make mistakes, but it’s how we overcome these moments where things have gone terribly wrong, and have things in place to prevent them from ever happening again in the future. I want you to always be prepared for the worst-case scenario, the “what ifs”, because it may be the thing that saves your Salon. We need to keep ourselves and our Salons protected from anything that may happen in the future. So, this is why I want to introduce you to Reonna Green, a hairstylist turned Lawyer living in the United States - how inspiring is that? Reonna is the founder of “She Trademarks” - an attorney that specialises in the beauty and hair world, I take my hat off to her for this! Because Reonna is so specialised in our industry (there seriously aren’t many hairstylists/ attorneys!) then I know you will soak up everything she has to say on how to protect your Salon when things really turn to sh*t. So keep listening to this episode and hear what she has to say…. Here are three reasons why you should listen to the full episode: Discover the fine print that you need to have in your Salon contract Learn about the ways you can protect yourself when things go wrong in your Salon Discover why it is important to have a consultation contract in place and how it can be the thing that saves your Salon. Inner Salon CEO Snapshot CLICK HERE to get your hands on it Let's chat… I'd like to chat with you a bit more about your business and how I may be able to help you. I actually think a team breakup can be ten times more painful than an actual breakup...AND it’s even worse when they start dating the Salon down the road. You’re left feeling confused, stressed, and yet again having to solve the problem of why your team isn’t sticking around. Why aren’t my team sticking around? Why have I spent so much time training them, only for them to leave 6 months later? Am I not paying them enough? BUT, what if we shifted our way of thinking? In this episode of the Podcast, I want you to meet Sheryl Lee-Woodhouse. What I Wish I Knew Before Opening My Salon

What I Wish I Knew Before Opening My Salon

This is the moment you have been dreaming about since you began your journey as a young Salon apprentice. You’re now ready to take the next big step in your career and begin your journey as the owner of a Salon. This is something that I believe is the natural stepping stone in your career when you have been in this industry for years and have learned all the hands-on skills you want to. Now, you are after something more, to pursue a different passion, which may be owning a business. I was itching to dig my feet into something more and owning a business seemed like the perfect fit! Whilst this is something that I’m sure you have considered at some point in your Salon journey, a lot of the time, people jump into it too quickly without considering all of the ups and downs of what actually owning their own Salon business may look like. Sometimes, it takes someone else that has been in your shoes before, to let you know exactly what you are getting yourself into. So, this week I knew I wanted to bring in my dear friend (and someone who I used to coach!), Louise May, to talk about what opening your Salon may look like for you. Louise is not only a Salon mentor, successful business owner, and Magazine editor of Hair Biz Australia, but she is also an incredible mother and wife to her family. Learning from someone that has not only taken the same leap as you but has been successful in doing so, will be so valuable for you listening! Here are three reasons why you should listen to the full episode: Discover the clear pathway for salon success so that you can feel ahead of your business without constant sleepless nights Learn the secret around what being a Salon Owner is actually all about (trust me, it’s not what you think!) Here’s What You Forgot About Client Rebooking

Here’s What You Forgot About Client Rebooking

Have you ever had a client walk into your Salon doors and then never return? Their stylist is left feeling confused and slightly upset. A million thoughts are racing through your head. Did they not enjoy the end result of the colour, cut or style? Was it too expensive? What got missed? In our industry, we have all had this happen before (I know I have!). It’s just something that you have to accept when running a client-based business…or is it? I want to show you a way to avoid this from happening that has nothing to do with the hair itself. Just imagine you’re a client who has had the busiest day, work’s been hectic–or perhaps it’s been a tough day with your kids–and you come flying into your hair appointment at a new salon (that you almost forgot about). The hairdresser, who doesn’t know you, your hair, or what you like having done comes over, swings the chair around to the mirror, and starts working away. At the end of the appointment, you leave the Salon, and whilst you may actually like what the hairdresser has done, you think to yourself that you won’t be returning any time soon. Do you know why that may be? I know I say this often, but as Salon Owners our job is always more than just hair. It’s so easy to get caught up in getting your clients in and out of the Salon looking good, but what about actually feeling good? This is something that I knew I had to get the lovely Natalie Varrasso to talk about in this episode. Natalie was practically born into the industry and has been a Hairstylist/ Salon Owner for 30 years. Natalie is not only the author of the must-read book “Love Your Hair: Discover your Best Hairstyle”, but is known in Australia for her unmatched customer service and incredible consultation settings. So, let’s dive into the episode and hear all the secrets from Natalie on how to truly provide a 10/10 client experience in our Salons, that will ensure we have clients coming back through our doors each and every time! Here are three reasons why you should listen to the full episode: How to get clients coming back every time without dropping your prices The one thing you are missing with your Salon consultations The real reason you are losing clients to the Salon down the road. Do You Have What It Takes to Be a Million-Dollar Salon Owner?

Do You Have What It Takes to Be a Million-Dollar Salon Owner?

You want to be a successful Salon Owner, right? Maybe even a million-dollar Salon Owner? To live a lifestyle where you choose the hours you work, but earn enough to enjoy a life outside of the Salon, so you can spend more time with your family and doing other things you love? It’s the dream….however, it’s not going to happen just like that! If it was that easy, everyone would already be there. To get to this point in your career, it comes down to being committed and dedicated. You have to build a business of clients that are loyal to your brand and will follow you and your team. You can’t grow a successful Salon without a team, so it’s crucial you gain respect in the industry from your peers and future team members. It requires you to think beyond the chair. I don't know about you, but when I became a business owner, I wasn't fully prepared for all the roles I'd have to take on! Like, you have to be good at more than just cutting hair, right?! You have to create a culture that people are inspired by, with a vision that is unique. If you want to get there, I believe with the right tools and advice, anyone can… and I want to show you how. I am so excited about this episode. Antony Whittaker has been in the industry for decades, and his journey is almost parallel to mine, which is why I find Antony so inspiring and relatable. After being globally recognised for his work in the Salon, Antony began inspiring others on how to be successful business owners and not just hairdressers. His knowledge and experience will be extremely valuable for you as we move into a new year, hopeful of achieving those dreams you have always wanted... Here are three reasons why you should listen to the full episode: The real reason behind the setbacks you are facing as a Salon Owner The one thing you need to do when planning for 2022 How to become a Salon CEO without working longer hours Inner Salon CEO Snapshot CLICK HERE to get your hands on it Apply Now: Come and work with me in 2022 by joining my Salon Mastery Program.
