Welcome to the Living in Sync Podcast, I am your host Joelle Suess and on this podcast you are going to be hearing how you can live fully into the present moment of your life no matter what stage, season, or phase (of your cycle) you are in.
I have been an accidental entrepreneur for over a decade. I have experience in direct sales, course creation, 1;1 nutrition coaching, and everything in between. For a long time I put myself into a box. At first it was at home fitness, then it was intentional productivity as a mom, then it went back to hormone health and cycle syncing, and now I am just sharing it all with you. I am going to be sharing solo topic episodes as well as amazing guest conversations about all the things.
No matter if you are a stay at home mom, corporate climber, entrepreneur, or anything in between I hope you enjoy each weeks topics because it is going to be a blend of everything! Health, wellness, nutrition, and living in sync with your cycle will still be some of our highlighted topics but why do we have to be so obsessed with our bodies losing weight when life is so bountiful and beautiful. There is so much more to life!

To the mom that feels like a FAILURE!
Oh my friend! This topic hits my heart hard because I have spent most of motherhood feeling like I am a failure. I have felt like I am failing as a mom - I never felt like a good mom. Until I started paying attention to the story I was telling myself, rewrote it, and then instead of looking for proof of failing I looked for proof of thriving. I hope this podcast episode enourages you to change your mindset around motherhood because if we stay in the story of telling ourselves we are the worst... nothing will change. This takes a brave woman to face the story that is dragging her down and do the work to change how you are thinking.

Stressed out mama! How to support your emotion during stressful situations!
My friend you are not the only one that has had to go through some stressful situations in 2020. Has somethings kept you up at night? The uneasy-ness of school for the kids, balancing your career, and doing it all? Yes, me too! I had a night this past week where I was woken up from a deep sleep and had to emotionally process something stressful. Things like this that come up that are no one's "fault" they are just changes due to the circumstances going on around us that we are not in control of are hard to go through. I hope me sharing how I worked through a night of stress and a near panic attack helps you!
Even after recording this episode I had some stressful times following (unrelated to this situation and topic) but I used these same strategies to help. Stress will come and go, it is somethings we all need to learn to work through in a healthy way.

HABITS - get it together sis - these habits won't go away when the pandemic does.
My friend right now we in a time where things are different and things are unknown. We have had our mommy meltdowns, our moments, and now it is time to make a new normal. Anytime a season in my life changes I always take a look at things and declare what is and is not important.
Habits like emotional eating, eating more processed foods, drinking more, inconsistent sleep, lack of activity, maybe be all things that you think are temporary but each day contributes to our habits regardless of them being good or bad. And ultimately the "bad" ones are easier to form and harder to break.

Mom Hacks - how to get out of the house quickly with kids!
Is getting out of the door to go somewhere always a chaotic scramble for you? These tips may not prevent a toddler from having a meltdown in their carseat BUT it will help you be prepared to grab and go so you're not worried about the items that need to be with you. Being prepared has saved me so many times while being out and about with my kids. And having all the items we need prepared ahead of time makes getting into the car easier even if the kids hate the transition of leaving what they are doing to getting in the car.
