IKS165: How To Profit From Your Unsubscribes
Unsubscribes are the Boogeyman of email marketing. They’re the reason marketers refuse to mail their lists hard. They’re afraid to push people off their list, because that’s, of course, is a bad thing, right? Wrong. Unsubscribes is one of the best thing that can happen to you.

IKS164: gor’s 5 Email Marketing Rules
I'm working on the Ultimate Guide To Solo Ads. A huge portion of the guide talks about email marketing. It covers everything - from daily frequency and formatting to how to minimize your spam complaints and get away with pitching in every email. I honestly believe it's one of the most comprehensive solo ads guides ever created. Anyway, I digress. I was writing the chapter about how to profit from unsubscribes and it had me curious - what do people believe about unsubscribes? What I discovered shocked me. The internet is awash with the same dense advice that got me spinning my wheels for months when I first started building my list. It inspired me to create Igor's Email Marketing Rulebook. Grab the first 5 rules by streaming this episode of the List Building Lifestyle.

IKS160: 7 Ways To Lower Your SPAM Complaints
Few email marketers understand the definition of SPAM. According to ISPs it's anything the reader thinks is SPAM. Solicited or unsolicited. That means, even if you're emailing an opt in list... And even if you're sending out awesome content, value and candy... You're still at risk of being flagged as a spammer. And if you're not careful, you can lose your autoresponder. Follow these 7 steps to keep SPAM complaints low.

IKS157: Marketing Secrets Of The World's Most-Respected Super Affiliates
When I first got into affiliate marketing in 2009, all I wanted was to become a super affiliate. It’s a term used to describe affiliate marketers who make $10,000 per month. I envied marketers whose names glittered on the product launch leaderboards. They were making more money, had more freedom and lived life with gusto. Incidentally, the leaderboard didn’t change from launch to launch. It seemed like there were couple dozen super affiliates who always outsold the rest of us. What was their secret? Discover in today's episode.

IKS156: The Most Expensive Traffic Lesson I've Ever Learned
“Maybe I just don’t know enough about driving traffic.” Every marketer has that feeling sooner or later. And every other day some wannabe guru is hawking another course. They all promise the same thing. Hordes of hungry buyers swarming your site like locusts. Can it really be that easy? After years experimenting with Google, Facebook, blogging, and even automated programs, I found the key. There is a way to get all the traffic your greedy little heart desires. Anyone can do it. But it’s not for sissies. Come along as we venture into the dark side of traffic generation on this episode of The List Building Lifestyle.

IKS155: How Many Exposures Does It Take To Convert A New Customer?
We’re bombarded with over 14,000 marketing messages a day. The marketing onslaught continues 24/7. It’s inescapable. Ads follow us around in the malls, on TV, on radio, on the parking lot, in the kitchen, in the bathroom and even in bed. Ads are the first thing we see in the morning and last thing we see before going to bed. Which begs the question… How do you stand out in all that noise? The new episode of the List Building Lifestyle reveals how.

IKS154: 5 Reasons I Don't Do Facebook Anymore

IKS153: Why Winning Doesn't Come Naturally For Most Of Us
You’ve got to hear about Pavlov’s evil twin. Let’s call him Alfred. Alfred's experiments aren’t for the faint of heart because he likes to experiment on dogs by zapping them. Why? Is he a sadist? Most likely. But he’s doing it for the sake of science. I don’t approve of his work. I believe anyone who shocks animals with electric current should be hung by his nutsack from the tallest tree in Kansas. BUT… There’s one thing we learn from what he’d done about ourselves, not dogs. Arguably, it’s the reason why you feel like a loser. And why most people remain losers for the entire lives.

IKS152: How Do You Know When It's Time To Quit Trying?
Here’s several major epochs in my marketing journey. But there’s one particular period that shaped my life. It was the micro-era when I got into blogging. It was a difficult time for me. I struggled to find the time to write. I struggled with technicalities of website building. I struggled with scraping the money together to buy a theme. I plain and simple struggled. Worse… I questioned myself. Should I keep doing it or is it time to quit? Am I wasting my time with this whole internet marketing thing or should I continue and try a little bit harder? What’s the red line and did I cross it yet? If you feel even remotely the same right now, this new episode is for you!

IKS151: My Uncensored Opinion On Starting a Shopify Business
My older brother calls me up and he ask: "Brosef, I'm thinking of changing professions. I thinking of getting out of what I'm doing right now and I think of getting into Shopify." My response: “Okay, broski, but why?” “…because it seems like very easy and fast business I can put together, doesn't require a lot of money to get in to.” If you’re considering to get into any business with same reasoning, don’t make a move until you listened to this episode. I explain why you’re wrong and what’s the right way to identify a bidniz to get into.

IKS150: How To Become More Successful By Watching TV
Neither my wife nor I are party animals. We prefer quiet movie nights to a night out. Last week, after tucking in Erika, we decided to watch a Tom Cruise movie. There’s one movie where he’s a novice NASCAR driver with an attitude problem. There’s great cast with epic stars like Robert Duvall, that blue dude from the Guardians of the Galaxy and Nicole Kidman. Anyway, there’s a scene where there’s less than 30 laps to go and Tom Cruise’s character Cole Trickle makes a pit stop. Nicole Kidman’s character is a lady doctor who fell in love with him. She says, “Be careful out there, Cole. Don’t go so fast. You’ll crash!” Cole’s response totally blew me away. It reminded me why I got into internet marketing. It reminded me why I have so much trouble putting my foot off the gas pedal. And it’s a great educational bit for anyone who’s yet to become successful. Get the full scoop in today's episode!

IKS147: Adapt Or Die - How To Profit From Mobile Traffic
One year ago I was minding my own business typing away at my trusted MacBook pro in the ol’ coffee shop. I patted myself on the back for writing the 7th email for the day. I looked up looking for Shoshana the waitress and noticed something weird. The “Opera” coffee shop was busy, but it was quiet. It seemed like people were just sitting at the same table. They weren’t talking, laughing or even drinking coffee. They were all staring into their mobile screens. Scrolling, typing, twisting and turning the devices in their palms. A And then it hit me. We’re entering a new traffic epoch. Consumer’s preferences have shifted to mobile. And unless you adapt to their new lifestyle – you're a goner! Here's how traffic is changing and how to profit from it in the next 3 years.

IKS144: How To Build A $500,000 Per Month Business Opportunity With John Crestani
Once upon a time in a distant land of Corporate America lived a young man. He worked for a Pay Per Click advertising agency. He was very passionate about proving himself and so he studied the art and science of PPC vigorously until he mastered it. He got so good at managing PPC campaigns for clients, it wasn’t unusual for him to 10X his clients’ businesses using his smart-bidding PPC tactics. Seeing all the value he was creating for his clients and his employer, our hero worked up the courage to ask for a raise. Sitting across the desk, his boss leaned back in his chair and asked “...of what?!” John Crestani recalls this to be the moment when he lost interest in ever working for other people. He soon left the agency and started an affiliate marketing business online. Today, almost 6 years later, John runs Internet Jet Set, an online education company that teaches average people with no business experience how to become super affiliates and live the 4-hour work week. John has scaled his company from a standstill to $500,000 per month in revenue. And I thought it'd be cool to pick his brain for half an hour to see if I can get him to spill some secrets.

IKS143: How To Recover From Losing Your Autoresponder Account
Meet Josh. Josh (not real name) is a VIP client of mine. He's been struggling with internet marketing programs for years. And now that he finally found me, he pulled no punches. He went through the list building training I gave him, set up his Aweber list and his email follow up. Next step - traffic. When he was ready, Josh nodded his head letting me know I can hit the big red traffic button. And so I did. I flooded Josh's Aweber with new leads. In fact, his list grew so fast, Aweber got spooked and shut down his account. No warning. No 2nd chances. No explanations. Thousands of leads gone. All the time and money Josh invested in building his list wasted. The night it happened, I must've gotten like 30 texts from Josh. He didn't know how to deal with losing his list overnight like that. Fortunately for him - I do. Because it happened to me many times. In fact, anyone who ever built a list had this happen to them at least once. And in today's episode you'll discover what you should and shouldn't do when your autoresponder gives you the boot.

IKS142: How To Build A List Fast Using Solo Ads
Ask any solo ad amateur what it takes to build a huge list with solo ads fast and they'll tell ya: MONEY! But that's a misconception. It doesn't take deep pockets to build a large list with solo ads fast. In fact, if you start throwing hundred dollar bills at solo ad sellers without a strategy I share in this episode, you're going to run out of money fast. And you'll end up stuck with a small dead list. Wait a second... Igor, are you saying I don't have to be filthy rich to build a list using solo ads? Yep, that's exactly what I'm saying. Find out exactly how to do that in this episode.

IKS141: Do Solo Ads Work For Anyone But The Person Selling Them?

32:2626/06/2017
IKS140: Should You Buy Solo Ads On Solo Ad Marketplaces?
When I started with solo ads there were no solo ad marketplaces. Solo ad sellers were kind of like your friendly neighborhood dope dealers. You had to know a guy who knew a guy who knows the dealer's beeper number. Everything's changed though. Nowadays, you spit and you hit a solo ad provider. They're climbing from under of every rock. No wonder all those solo ad marketplaces like udimi, solochecker and a dozen others have sprouted in the recent years. And they really make your life easier, don't they? They bring all solo ad sellers under one roof, rate them and even protect you against fraud. But here's a question nobody's asking: Are solo ad marketplaces really as awesome as they market themselves to be?

IKS139: Nobleman's Marketing
May 2011. My laptop crashed. It was a common error for windows laptops at the time - the blue screen of death. When that happens, there's a good chance you'll have to replace your hard drive or graphics card. And I wasn't looking forward to the bill. But I had to get it fixed because at the time I was trying to build my list building empire through blogging. And I needed a laptop to write articles. I deposited my laptop with the technician earlier that day. When I came by to pick it up we got chatting and he asked what I do. I told him about my blogging ventures, how I used forum marketing to drive traffic to the blog and how I was building a following on Twitter. His response was a cliche "oh, you're one of those spammer a-holes who market products on forums!" I didn't appreciate being labeled a spammer. No one would, I guess. We got into a 40 minute argument about spamming. It was no use changing this dude's mind. Fast forward 4 years later. I met him in our local bar "Muza." We only got one bar in town, so it's hard to NOT see each other on Friday night. He approached me and asked if he could buy me a beer. I said he could buy me a soda, because I don't drink and I was only in a bar because my friends like the place. We got talking and he went on to tell me about how he followed me online, appreciated what I've done and how I've helped people and even asked me to teach him my unruly ways. My point: What he once thought was spamming was now becoming a noble profession to him. Which begs a question - how do you respond to someone who shames you for being a marketer? How do you FEEL about marketing info products and business opportunities? Are you proud or guilty to sell? Here's my take on the philosophical and moral argument of marketing and selling.

IKS138: Email Marketing Stand Up
I wasn't born naturally funny. Growing up I was fat and kept to myself. Anytime I opened my mouth to say something funny I ended up embarrassing myself. I learned to keep my mouth shut when I'm around people. But I always had a passion for comedy. I spent hundreds of hours watching stand up acts performed by the greats like Steve Martin, Chris Rock, George Carlin and others. I always figured these guys were naturally funny. Like they were gifted and I wasn't. But after reading George Carlin's and Steve Martin's biographies I learned I was wrong. Turned out the greatest comics of all time are NOT funny in real life. And that the secret to great comedy lies in understanding one simple communication concept they all use (no exception). Wait, Igor, but what does stand up comedy have to do with writing emails that convert? Everything. Turns out, if you know how to make people laugh, you're 80% email-marketing-certified. Discover how to make them laugh and take their money!

IKS137: Igor's 7 Rules Of Marketing
How do you create a high converting offer? Most marketers start with a blank slate and try to get creative. Others plagiarize offers from their idols. Discover the 7 marketing rules you ought to follow when putting together an offer or enhancing an existing one.

IKS136: The Fast (But Not Easy) Way To Shape Yourself Into A Marketing Leader
I was working around the clock. I prospected. I put out offers. I wrote unique content. I drove traffic (mostly free though). But nobody wanted to join me in business. It was a year since I started marketing my first online MLM. In spite of it costing $10/mo the task of getting someone to say "YES!" seemed insurmountable. At first I didn't understand why. Later, I recognized the reason why people would shut the virtual door in my face. It was simple. It made a lot of sense too. I didn't blame them. The reason nobody joined me in business is because nobody wants to work with an insecure newbie. They want a confident veteran with battle scars to take them under their wing. But how do you become a pro if you can't recruit anyone? That seems to be the question on everyone's mind these days. It's sort of a catch 22. To get more customers, you have to become a leader. But you can't get be a leader if you got no customers! I'm excited to report I figured the missing puzzle piece.

IKS135: Proven Duplication System For Internet Network Marketers
The #1 reason MLMers switch from traditional marketing to internet marketing is to create duplication. Yeah, the magic D word! Incidentally, virtually anyone who promotes online business opportunities is looking for it too! But let’s be honest - almost no one’s got it. Nobody has duplication figured out. And those who say they do, have only figured it out for themselves. They can’t possibly show other people how to do it! Now that’s a huge problem. It’s cancerous to our industry, because its probably the biggest reason for so many discouraged souls dragging their feet in the lonely hallways of online marketing. The good news for you, oh wise listener of the List Building Lifestyle, is that there is hope for you yet! I found the one person who’s done an amazing job of showing struggling non-techies how to get more leads, more sales and create real duplication in their business.

There's one tactic I always use no matter what I'm marketing that gets me more sales, more customers and more good will than any other marketing tactic I've ever tried. IKS132: How To Turn Boring Biz Opps Into Exciting No Brainer Offers
If there's one thing you can use to dominate a marketplace it's a no brainer offer. The kind of offer that makes people go "OMG, where do I buy that?!" In fact, there's billion dollar companies built around just one no brainer offer. Dominos Pizza comes to mind. But what if you're promoting an offer that ain't sexy and you have no control over that offer? Like when you promote business opportunities or if you're an affiliate marketer? Here's what you need to do to spice things up!

IKS131: Why I'm Sticking With Email Marketing As My #1 Marketing Media For The Next 5 Years
My clients are often shocked to discover I'm reluctant to embrace social media marketing. It boggles them to know 90% of my income comes from my list. And some of them feel I'm just too stubborn to see the writing on the wall. Umm... nope. They're just blinded by the shiny object syndrome. In this episode I reveal why I believe email isn't going anywhere and why you should double-down on your email marketing in the next 5 years.

IKS129: How I Got Scammed For $10,000 By a Traffic Scam Artist
Nobody’s safe from traffic SCAMs. Even grizzled marketing vet like me walks into carefully orchestrated and choreographed traffic-buying traps every now and again. Like this one time when I bought over $10,000 worth of clicks from a solo ad seller I met at the Solo Ad Summit in Orlando. Just like a smart traffic consumer would do, I started with a small buy of 1,000 clicks. It seemed to have went well. So I scaled. And this is where it all went to hell.

IKS128: How Facebook, Instagram And Solo Ad Sellers Are Robbing You Blind
I just returned from 2 back-to-back marketing seminars. Traffic Seminar in London where one of UK's top marketers Shaqir Hussin presented his best and most up to date Facebook Ads strategies. And Russell Brunson's Funnel Hacking Live 2017 where Russell revealed (amongst other cool things) his FB ads campaigns. At those seminars, both Shaq and Russell, opened up their company's books and allowed us to glimpse into their lead acquisition costs. And you know what their average Facebook lead cost is? Either just below or way above $10.00 per lead. How quickly will you go broke paying that kind of money for one potential customer who may not even open your emails in 2 weeks? If you're a beginner with a limited budget - you'll be broke in no time. In fact, solo ads and Instagram ads are the same (although for different reasons).

IKS127: Does Your List Have An Expiration Date?

IKS126: 5 Rules To Becoming A Great Leader
There's a common military misconception that states military personnel are robots. Supposedly, these people blindly march into battle just because they're given the order to. But that's not true. In fact, getting a bunch of people to risk their lives (and the future of their families) to protect their county's ideals goes far beyond a stable paycheck and a bullet proof vest. You can't force a soldier to put their life on the line as much as you can't force your prospects to buy from you. But both can be lead into action through 5 core bullet proof leadership principles I expose in this episode.

IKS125: The Persuasion Secrets Of The Top 1% With Jeremy Miner
After studying under the best (and the worst) of marketers on the entire planet, I conclude: Tons of people know how to market well. Some know how to teach it. Few know how to teach it well. The top earners and the super affiliates know how to get prospects to march down to the order forms credit card in hand. But they can't teach others to duplicate their success even if their life depended on it. Which is why I'm thrilled to be hosting Jeremy Miner - the one guy who's made it his life mission to teach others how to sell like a pro... Someone who's students are literally raking it in across dozens of different industries.

IKS124: Why You Shouldn't Be A Seminar Animal
I made my first half a mil online without going to a single seminar. The first seminar I flew in was the Manchester JVZoo summit and I didn't even promote JVzoo products. I went just to see what the noise is all about. Thing is, ever since starting out online back in 2008-ish, I noticed people who went to seminars were becoming successful faster than those who didn't. But I never went to any seminars because I couldn't afford to go. So I just had to find out why it's such a big deal. Since my trip to Manchester I've been to 8 other events across several continents. And I summed up my thoughts on how to make the most out of seminars (and whether or not you should even go!) in this episode of the List Building Lifestyle.

IKS123: Why There's No Such Thing As An Average Conversion Rate
"Igor, what's the average conversion rate with your traffic for >?" This is by far the most annoying question we get at Igor Solo Ads. Not because I can't identify the average. But because it's a really bad question which leads to more bad questions which leads to failure. In this episode I explain why it's such a horrible question. I also share what's a better question to ask to get better conversions on your ads!

IKS122: How To Instantly Become Interesting & Relevant To Your Prospects
Last week I got on a call with a new friend. She's a woman in her thirties and she's involved with several MLMs. She asked if I could help with traffic for one of the programs she mentioned. And I said - probably not and gave her a bunch of reasons why those specific MLMs weren't a good fit. Next thing I know... She launches into a 15 minute presentations to show me why these products are amazing and why I should a) join her in business and b) find a traffic source that works. You can guess what happened next. I lost all interest. Today I'd like to share with you the mistakes she made which made it virtually impossible to "close" me. Follow these guidelines to make your product and yourself interesting to other people. Violate my guidelines and forever be ignored by your best prospects.

In fact, making claims achieves the complete opposite - it makes you invisible to the prospects who are allergic to claims.
