Kevin Roth is a survivor of Stage 3 melanoma, and given a short period of time to live, he decide to move to San Diego Californi to find happiness and focus on his journey to healing mentally and physically.
When the diagnosis hits, it can be debilitating to the patient and very hard to digest. The many who recived similar diagnosis decides to live in sadness and with the victim mentality.
Kevin decided to live life with appreciation and joy. He decided to not let this bring him down and focus more on how he wants to live cancer free. Everything starts in the mind. Combining meditation and healthny living, he went into remission and started coaching people from all walk of life on how to cope with different challenges in life.

Having to deal with breast cancer and mastectomy is one thing, but add a failed marriage to the mix with a 18 months old baby is definitely icing on the cake. Chemotherapy, radiation, treatment, surgeries after surgeries, it never ends. Susan felt it was a challenge she never expected to happen but it did. Life threw her hardballs but she figured out a way to heal from within and came out a winner. She accepted her faith, her challenges and made sure she worked on herself before working on anything else that was going on in her marriage.
Susan never considered giving up and she learned to maneuver through these challenges and find solace in all of it. She became a life coach and helps other cancer survivor to also find peace in their own path.
It is important to remember that no one has any control of their destiny, or control over their relationship as you can't really force the other person to behave the way you want. You need to work on anything you care about the best way possible and let the Universe take care of the rest. Positive thinking is key and as long as you do whatever it takes to make things work the best way possible, you can never live life with regret wondering if outcomes would have changed based on the amount of effort invested.
Susan is the best proof showing better outcomes and worked towards making the changes she needed to live a happier life.

This episode touched me in a different way as my own mother went through cancer (breast) treatment (twice). Dr Lorenzo Cohen and Alison Jefferies from Houston are providing amazing insight as how cancer works, discussing the many strategies on how to stay proactive to avoid the chances of getting cancer with proper eating, exercising, tobbaco and alcohol free life. If the latter is impossible, everything in moderation is also acceptable.
Where do we draw the line between enabling cancer cells to grow in our body and staying proactive to avoid that from happening? How much obsession can we put into proper eating, exercising and living a stress free life? Will this make us a hypochondriac society where everytime something in our body doesn't feel right we will self diagnose ourselves as it being cancer.
This episode isn't about bringing you fear but more being more self aware and mindful of the life you live today. Being vigilent and understanding how your external environment and other triggers can impact your life. How do you deal with a diagnosis of cancer for yourself or a family member? How can you support them through the process? All this can impact you in a very profound way.

The many struggles Lisa had to go through in life to become the woman she is today. Nothing come easy and many are accustomed to victimizing themselves in the process. Familiarity is a comfortable place to be but not the best for your mental and physical well-being. We tend to look for solutions but are not willing to make drastic changes to experience these changes. Being in a marriage with a Narcissistic person didn't help her growth either but taking drastic action is what allowed her to change her mindset and grow from it.
Getting out of your comfort zone is somewhat necessary to live a better life. Yes, many FEAR the unknown and that is ok to understand and be aware of the challenges ahead. However, it is not right to constantly live in FEAR and expect different results when doing the same thing over and over again. Adding insanity to the process won't help you reach happiness.

Message from the Universe: Segment 20: Avoid particularities to your dreams
“When your dreams or “end results” are stated generally, in broad brush strokes, like wealth and abundance, friends and laughter, health and harmony, then please, by all means, attach yourself to them. Attach, attach, attach. There is no limit to what you can have and no reason to expect anything less.
But when your end results are specific, like the ultimate car, a hot date, or a home in the country, do not attach, do not attach, do not attach.
Material details and specifics are always “how” to get to a grander picture of your life and are never important in and of themselves. They’re “cursed hows” disguised as end results. Steps disguised as destinations. By all means, think of them, put them in your scrapbook or on your vision board to remind yourself of the kind of possessions and adventures that are your birthright. But do not give them any importance, through attachment, greater than what you are truly after: a fuller, richer life with all cups running over, the details of which will take care of themselves when this is your end result.

You nodded your head politely appreciating their stupid advice, thinking how dumb they were and how miserable their lives really is and went on your way to pursue your dreams. You never stopped, you pushed forward and created the life you always prayed for. Congratulations my friend, you made it. So go ahead, it is now time to enjoy it with a nice cocktail overlooking the Ocean from a terrace sitting on a 50 000 Sq.ft mansion.

The Happyness Journey with Dr Dan: Segment 17: Starting a new year with a new beginning
As we are entering 2020, we should think about all the things we have accomplished and the goals we have reached. Forget about what you missed as you can't really turn back time as you must look ahead. I agree that we can feel some regrets for not doing everything we planned for the past year, but guess what, there is a new year coming up and all you need to do and create new goals. It is possible that what you set up yourself to do last year wasn't so important as you thought it was, hence, you didn't put too much attention to it throughout the year. Possibly, the main reason why it was not done is because you found a different goal to reach which would impact your life in a positive way. So forget about what was not done and focus more on what were the blessings of the past year. That should give you the energy to move forward for 2020. Happy New Year everyone.!

Many say they want to succeed, but at what cost? Easier said than done right? We tend to want things in life but not willing to put in the effort, or not have enough patience to push through the challenging times. It won't be easy, hell, it may be suicidal at times where you work your butt off and see NO results. However, where situations can't be observed is when great things are happening. It is not because you DON'T see it that it is not happening. Believe that no matter what you do today, either moving forward with your dreams or not, the results are based on your actions. If you do nothing, expect nothing in return. If you do a lot, things will move towards your goals and you will experience ultimate happiness, wealth and abundance.
