It's week 1 with our new read, Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros and we're starting with chapters 1 - 12. This week we see how Violet recovered after almost dying in the last book. She, Xaden and crew have to decide how they will get back into Basgiath and how they will help the rebellion! Dain doesn't understand anything and his dad is a jerk who hires an even bigger jerk to help run the school!

It's our last week with Ashes and the Star-Cursed King by Carissa Broadbent and we're reading chapters 59-the end. This week - we find out what happened to our bad boy Simon and it isn't fun. Oraya learns of an interesting family connection and gets some fun jewellery. Her army makes their last stand in the middle of a desert and Oraya learns about VIncent's thoughts and emotions even though he's dead! Oraya also has a run in with a goddess and her and Raihn share a Yrene and Chaol like moment!

It's week three with Ashes and the Star-Cursed King by Carissa Broadbent and we're reading chapters 38-58. This week, Oraya and Raihn get into a spot of touble that only brings them closer. We learn more about Mische and how similar she is to Alice Cullen, and the Hiaj and the Rishan are finally deciding to maybe work together? On top of that, Oraya and Raihn's relationship takes another step - one that we totally expected!.

It's week 2 with Ashes and the Star-Cursed King by Carissa Broadbent. This week, Oraya and Raihn are in Vincent's hometown visiting his only surviving family member. They figure out what he's hiding and Oraya finally learns a secret that gives her a missing piece of herself. She gets herself in hot water that brings her and Raihn closer together before they host their first party for all the Rishan nobles, which doesn't go as expected!

Its week 1 of our new book! We're reading Ashes and the Star-Cursed King by Carissa Broadbent. This week we're reading chapters 1-20. We're reintroduced to our main characters Oraya and Raihn and we get caught up in their feels! Oraya doesn't want to feel anything for Raihn because he killed her father, and he doesn't want to feel for her because that's treason against his people. But they decide to work together against the evil Prince Septimus and uncover VIncent's secrets - starting with his home town of Lahor. What can he be hiding? Surely not a crazy neice with her army of undead children!

It's our last week with Kerri Maniscalco's Kingdom of the Cursed and we're finishing the book from chapter 25 to the end! This week, we get some answers but not enough. Emilia gets saved from having to reveal her secret but the penalty is alone time with Wrath. We find out the stake the matron of curses has in this race and we finally learn who's been sending Emilia all those skulls! Plus, she finally makes a decision on what she's going to do about her betrothal.

It's week 3 with Kingdom of the Cursed by Kerri Maniscalco, and we're reading chapters 16-25. This week, Emilia is sneaky with Prima Striga's book. She and Wrath start their magical training, which causes some questionable consent issues, and Emilia becomes even more determined to uncover what's going on, especially since it seems like she's been involved before!

It's week two with Kingdom of the Cursed by Kerri Maniscalco and this week we're reading chapters 8-15. This week, Emilia tries to adjust to her new life in Hell, but she learns even more that will turn her upside down. There are sexy times in a hot spring and truths told before Emilia visits Envy and they share dinner and drinks before discussing if they can ever be friends.....side note...they can't.

It's week one with our new book Kingdom of the Cursed by Kerri Maniscalco, the second book in her Kingdom of the Wicked series! We're reading chapters 1-7. This week we catch up with Emilia; she is descending into hell with Wrath to fulfill her bargain of marrying the king of hell. However, she has to cross the dangerous sin corridor in a metal corset first and she finds it hard being turned on by Wrath all the time! When they make it to Hell, she takes up residence in Wrath's house and they argue about everything, except how hot they are for each other!

It's our last week with our Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn Tandem read by Sarah J Maas. This week we're reading: Empire of Storms Ch 68-75 Tower of Dawn Ch 58-Fireheart This week is an emotional rollercoaster as we get our showdown between Aelin and Maeve and there are so many revelations we can't keep up! Aedion is still irrational though...and we finally learn who's been threatening Yrene this whole time...and it's not who we expect! Then Chaol gets his HAE and we're annoyed about it.

It's the penultimate episode of our tandem read of SJM's Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn. Nesryn and Sartaq find out some information that will literally change the course of the war, cause they're bosses.

Its week 7 of our tandem read of Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn by SJM. Lorcan and Elide make it to Aelin and must have had some interesting conversations off page because we think they're in love? Lorcan makes the ultimate sacrifice for his baby girl Elide. Nesryn and Sartaq are investigating the Spider mountains and get caught in a web, while Chaol and Yrene keep falling in love...oh yeah, and Chaol is TERRIBLE at court politics.

It's week 6 with our tandem read of Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn by Sarah J Maas and this week is an all-EoS week! We're reading chapters 37-51. This week, Aelin finally gets acquainted with Rowan's "velvet-wrapped steel" but not before everyone completely overlooks how badass Lysandra is. Lorcan finally learns who Elide really is and she is almost taken back to Morath a couple of times but Lorcan saves her! Manon gets dropped in Dorian's lap by Abraxos and they hang on to her for a while so she can heal and they can get some info on their enemies. Meanwhile, Abraxos is the new ship cat.

Its week 5 with our tandem read of Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn by SJM! Our reading schedule is as follows: ToD - Ch 28 EoS - Ch 30 ToD - Ch 29-31 EoS - Ch 31 ToD - Ch 32 EoS - Ch 32 ToD - Ch 33-35 EoS - Ch 33-36 This week, Yrene and Chaol bond over their dangerous experience and have some cliched moments. Sartaq realizes that Nesryn is keeping things from him, even after being attacked by a giant spider. Elide and Lorcan have a run in with some ilken and find out they are more alike than they thought, and Aelin plays a bit too much with fire in Skull's Bay!

Aelin finally meets up with Rowan and crew in Skulls Bay and plays tricks on Rolfe and Aedion needs to make a decision about his father!

On top of that Elide and Lorcan get fake married, Dorian and Rowan meet up with some of Rowan's former besties in Skulls Bay and who knows what Aelin is up to!

Manon has to pay for the life of Iskra's sentinal with a member of the 13! Meanwhile, Aelin, Aedion and Lysandra liberate a town in Terrassen before meeting up with ghost Brannon and creepy Erawan!

Chaol and Nesryn show up on the Southern Continent and are not super well-received, and Elide meets up with the fae warrior Lochan and they decide to work together to make it where they need to go!

It's our last week with The Cruel Prince by Holly Black and we're reading chapters 24-30. This week, we deal with the aftermath of the "red coronation" where Balekin tried to have himself crowned High King but it didn't work out for him and all but Carden is dead. Jude figures out crucial information about Oriana and Oak and sets her plan in motion to save all of Faerie from Balekin's rule.

It's week 3 with The Cruel Prince by Holly Black and we're reading chapters 18-24. This week, Jude has a run in with Prince Dain - but not for the reason she thinks. He makes her test her loyalty and it isn't pretty. Valerian wants retribution for being stabbed by Jude, but he's way out of his league. The coronation happens and Jude deals with her own version of the Red Wedding. She finally also figures out who Taryn's secret love is, and it causes a rift between the sisters!

It's week 2 with The Cruel Prince by Holly Black, and we're reading chapters 11-17 this week. This week, Jude comes to terms with her new role while avoiding murderous attempts on her own life by Carden and his goons. She connects with Locke even though he didn't write her name on a piece of paper a million times. Jude also sneaks into Prince Balekin's house several times and takes something he wants - a human servant, but she doesn't take too kindly to being taken.

It's our first week with The Cruel Prince by Holly Black and we're reading chapters 1-10. This week, we meet Jude and her twin sister Taryn and their older half-fae sister Vivienne. Their parents were murdered and they were brought back to the world of fae by Vivienne's birth father and the girls grow up with vengeful sprites and cruel classmates. But how far will her classmates go to keep her from joining faerie court?

It's the last week with A Court of Silver Flames by SJM and we're reading chapters 59-80. It's our last week with Nesta and the gang for a while! This week, Nesta and her girls have the slumber party dreams are made of, and the girls finally master their training. When Nesta is happy, though, it gets swept away as she and the girls enter the bloodrite! They have to fight one-dimensional male characters and a female baddy who's really not that hard. Nesta's last battle though, is with death herself!

It's week 4 with A Court of Silver Flames by SJM. This week we're reading chapters 44-58. The drama unfolds as secrets get spilled and Nesta finally starts her healing journey. We get another trove item, holiday parties, a possible wedding match (Eris and Nesta?? why tho) and a lot more Valkyrie training. We end off this week with Nesta and Cassian finally admitting what they feel for each other and it's glorious. I’m sure they won’t screw this up next week…

It's week 3 with A Court of Silver Flames and we're reading chapters 29-43. This week, Nesta gets closer to Emerie and Gwyn (and Cassian...aka bedroom times). They find the first dread trove and Nesta accidentally makes a new trove! The inner circle also show how great they are at keeping secrets they shouldn't, as they all try and find a solution to Feyre's wing baby.....without telling her....oh and Cassian and Nesta hook up more.

It's week 2 with A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J Maas and we're reading chapters 14-28. This week, Nesta finally gets the hang of training but cannot seem to get the hang of the family interactions and ends up having arguments with everyone. She and Cass have some encounters with his velvet steel and she manages to convince a couple of other females to join her at training!

It's a new book! We're reading ch 1-13 of A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J Maas. This week is all about Nesta and her family's plan to get her back on the straight and narrow (with Cassian's help of course). She resists at first, but who can say no to an Illyrian? Especially when bargains are involved?

It's our last week with Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco and we're reading chapters 37 to the end! This week, Emilia's friends and family are in danger from one of the Princes and Emilia has some tough decisions to make. She and Wrath have a bit of steaminess before she realizes what he's really after, but when her life is on the line, he helps her. Emiluia finally comes face to face with her sister's killer, and it isn't at all who we thought it was!

It's week 3 with Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco and we're covering chapters 24-36. This week, Emilia made some questionable choices. Wrath tries to convince her to take their relationship to the next level and move in with him and Emilia has a run-in with a demon. She meets up with another Prince who gives us invisible hand vibes and leaves her feeling empty. She finally decides to take life by the reins and find her cornicello!

It's week 2 of Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco and we're reading chapters 12-23. This week, our fave Prince of Hell offers Emilia a deal that she doesn't take. She runs into two more Princes that are not as easy to get along with as Wrath and Emilia finally understands their power is no joke. She gets herself in trouble with a snake demon and Wrath does something to save her life that she might regret. She finally agrees to trust him and asks for his help in catching her sister's killer. He calls her princess.....so they def got married!

It's a new week and we're reading Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco! This week we're reading chapters 1-12. We meet our main character Emilia who is a witch living in Italy with her twin sister and the rest of her family. She goes through something incredibly tragic and has to solve a murder and enlists the help of an angry Prince of Hell to do it!

It's our last week with Queen of Shadows by Sarah J Maas and we're reading chapters 64 to the end! This week is the final showdown! Aelin has a questionable plan to distract the king while Rowan and Aedion bring back magic. Obviously, it doesn't go exactly to plan but with some help from some unlikely allies, Aelin does what she needs to do and frees Adarlan from the king's tyrannical grasp! Then it's up to her to make the journey back to Terrassen. Also, Kaltain saves the day!

It's week 4 with Queen of Shadows by SJM and we're reading chapters 48 to 64. This week, Aelin cleans up after dealing with Arobynn and makes plans for her next move. Her and Rowan have some steamy moments (finally) before she is rocked by another friend being arrested. There's an epic showdown between Aelin and Manon and we finally learn why Asterin is so carefree.

It's week 3 with Queen of Shadows by Sarah J Maas and we're reading chapters 30-47. This week is all about the master plan to help Aelin get her amulet back from the King of the Assassins. Aelin plots and schemes and secrets her way to getting her ultimate revenge! And I guess the guys are all there too... Manon asks Elide to start pulling her weight!

It's week 2 with Queen of Shadows by SJM. We're reading chapters 15 to 29. This week, Aelin shows us what kind of Queen she really is in her daring rescue and even more daring pyjamas. She gets a surprise visitor that breaks all her walls. Rowan is basically the Surial dropping secrets left and right while Asterin does the same thing to Elide in Morath. Also, Chaol is still terrible. That is all.

It's Queen of Shadows by Sarah J Maas time! We're reading chapters 1-14 this week. We revisit our fave assassin and fae warrior except they're separated as Aelin goes back to Rifthold to save Aedion from execution and get her amulet back that has a wyrd key inside. On Manon's side, she's frustrated with her role and how she's being treated, and poor Dorian is still under the control of a valg Prince! Side note - we hate on Chaol.

It's our last week with Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross. We're reading chapters 36 to the end! This week, Iris suggests something that Roman is fully behind until they find out the town is in danger! Then Iris makes some not great decisions when she hears news of her brother. All of this culminates to a final showdown with Dacre's forces coming for Avalon's Bluff.....some will escape....but some will not!

This week is our third week with Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross and we're reading chapters 25-35. This week, Roman and Iris are reunited in a dangerous way! Iris is suspicious of Roman's intentions, especially when he insists on going with her to the front lines. Things take a turn for the worst as Dacre makes his move and Iris finally learns the truth about her pen pal's identity! Will she be happy to know who it si? We'll find out!

It's week 2 of Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross and we're discussing chapters 13-24 this week! Just a heads up that our intro discussion this week got long! So if you want to skip right to Divine Rivals, head to the 19-minute mark! This week Iris isn't well because of her grief and Roman tries in his own way to help her. She makes a decision that alters her future though, and quits her job to be a war correspondent - but it isn't at all what she thought it would be! Roman also makes some decisions about his future...will he be the future Mrs. Elinor Little??

It's a new book! We're reading Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross and this week we are reading chapters 1-12. We meet Iris and Roman - rivals at a newspaper competing for the columnist position. Iris is from the wrong side of town and has to care for her alcoholic mother and Roman lives in a magic mansion with a jerk of a dad. Iris writes letters to her brother at the war front and thinks she's delivering them by sliding them under her wardrobe door. But her brother isn't getting the letters.....who is?

It's episode 100!!!!!! It's our last week with The Serpent and the Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent and we're reading chapters 41 to the end. This week is a spicy week since Oreya and Raihn finally admit they have all the feels and they get in there. Oreya finally sees that Vincent isn't who she thought he was and during the final trial we see the mother of all showdowns between Oreya and Raihn. Only one can win and a giant twist makes us question everything!

This is week 3 with The Serpent and the Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent and we are reading through chapters 28-40. This week gets a little bit saucy! Raihn and Oraya get a little closer and have to compete in two different trials. Oraya is of course a badass and awakens some powers she didn't even know she had! The Moon palace is cheeky and sneaky and Oraya is finally starting to realize that Vincent may not be as great as she thinks he is.

It's week 2 with Carissa Broadbent's Crown of Nyaxia Series - The Serpent and the Wings of Night. We're reading chapters 14 to 27. This week, it's time for the second trial and Oraya has to learn to play nice with her new allies. She makes it through but it really makes her think about her father's motivations and that maybe Oraya isn't as powerless as she thought!

It's week one of our new book by Carissa Broadbent, The Serpent and the Wings of Night, the first book of the Crown of Nyaxia series. This week we're reading chapters 1-13. We meet our main character Oraya and her unique situation of being a human in a kingdom of vampires, raised by the vampire king himself. She enters a competition to receive a gift from a goddess but is in danger at every turn! Until she meets Raihn, another competitor and her supposed enemy, however, there's something mysterious about him and how he reacts to Oraya's humanity!

It's our last week with A House of Sky and Breath by SJM and we're reading chapters 60-78. We've made it to the end! We have all the answers but we still have questions! First, can pregnancy occur when two fae fool around in their minds? Also, what's Jessiba's deal? And finally, why do villains always monologue their final plans?

It's our 4th week talking Crescent City 2 - A House of Sky and Breath by SJM and we're reading chapters 44-59. This week, we find a secret civilization underwater! Ruhn confirms that Bryce and Hunt are true mates and they seal the deal...with more than a kiss. There are random attacks and half-baked schemes that we don't understand until Bryce and Hunt are finally officially together (and her dad isn't happy about it...he's still terrible).

It's week 3 and we're reading chapters 28-43 of Crescent City 2 - A House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J Maas. This week, so much happens! Bryce and Hunt's scents change after their mates conversation but then they make the terrible decision to visit the Bone Quarter and they get some life altering news. We also meet a ton of new people including some mystics and Danika's father. They visit the rebels and problems ensue, but the worst part is that Hunt and Bryce don't get to go to their hotel room!

It's week 2 with SJM's CC2 - A House of Sky and Breath and we're reading chapters 14-27. This week, we get annoyed with Ithan and Hunt and Bryce...pretty much everyone. They all get further into this rebellion business and we find out there's been a rebel in their midst the whole time! Bryce and Hunt keep talking about hotel rooms and even take a stab at voyeurism! There's questionable lightning usage in a gym and we just feel for poor baby Baxion!
