Episode 26: REVENGE 30 years ago May 19th 1992, KISS released their 16 studio album and 24th overall. Having suffer the tragic loss of their beloved drummer Eric Carr the year prior KISS was determined to get Revenge and get their heads back in the game. A new look for the band that was more akin to black and leather look of the past welcomed new member and drummer Eric Singer. Formally of Badlands, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath and Paul Stanley's solo touring band to name a few joined the legendary band. Kulick, Simmons, Stanley and Singer sought out reclaim their rock metal roots with force. With producer Bob Ezrin at the help the hoped to achieve that admits the changing of the music landscape. Blazing guitars, ponding drums, with Stanley's soring vocal and the "return" of Gene as some might say. Gene was fully committed to the band fully with no outside projects pulling him away this time. he even grew a goatee to complete the look. This is the best look for the band post make up. would the album deliver? That's what we intend to discuss.
