The movie also does the thing where all the lady characters fit within a super narrow standard of beauty, while the men are allowed to be worthwhile even if they aren't painted as attractive, and that's also shitty. Maybe the movie's self aware about it? I think it's part of the joke, but the jokes are still punching down, so, not great.
