Garden Creek Ranch - Karin Warnelius-Miller
Our wines are made with our land and location in mind. An extraordinary commitment. We allow the year to unfold rather than manipulate or control the wine… this we believe is a winemakers’ responsibility and a great skill. We’re proud of our wines. Building wines intended to age with beauty and dignity is an absolute reflection of who we both are as individuals. Build a strong foundation, it will never falter.

Pisoni Family Vineyards - Jeff Pisoni
This land has an identity. These mountains, this soil, the rocks, the quality of air and the wind. All these traits contribute to a character unique to this very part of the earth. Our goal as a family is to work with nature, through farming and crafting wines, and to preserve this identity in wines that express this very site. The personality of this land was first recognized when Gary Pisoni began planting grapes in 1982 — some of the very first in this region. Each year we learn more about the characteristics of our vineyards, farming and winemaking to steadily improve the sustainability of what we do, and the wines we strive to create. We approach winemaking as an art, a science, and a craft. As such, from planting to pruning to harvesting, we work by hand, in accordance both with Burgundian tradition and our own ongoing understanding of what will best sustain this land we love and respect.

Alma De Cattleya - Bibiana Gonzalez-Rave Pisoni
Currently focusing on Sonoma County, Napa Valley and the overall Wine of California appellation, each glass embodies the soul of the vineyards, orchards, and farms that make up this bucolic California landscape.Bibiana cherishes the land from which her wines emerge; so much so, she wanted a way to share it with her native country of Colombia. During an annual visit home, a casual conversation among friends sparked an idea: she could bring her wine to Colombia, blending both versions of her life with the same care she uses to blend her wines. In 2012, she created her first label, Cattleya, as an homage to her home country, naming it after the national flower of Colombia. Her newest venture, Alma de Cattleya, represents the soul of the land that gives life to her wines as well as her own soul put into each drop of wine that makes it to the bottle.

Two Shepherds - William Allen and Karen Daenen
Our philosophy is to embrace how wines were made for hundreds of years, before the introduction of chemicals and flavor manipulation. We guide our wines along, protect them from harm, and otherwise do not intervene. This old world style allows for the true expression of the variety, vintage and vineyard. All of our wines are aged in neutral barrels that subtly enhance the wines' texture, but impart no oak flavors. Our wines are fermented naturally with native yeast, are aged on the lees, with minimal sulfur and are minimally racked. Two Shepherds launched in 2010. In 2015, we moved to our own facility to ensure 100% native yeast fermentation. Other recent milestones include harvesting from our own Grenache vineyard in 2018 and grafting 1,000 vines of Grenache & Grenache Gris in 2019.We focus on uncommon Rhône varieties, often from the only few acres available in California. While our total production is small, our offerings are vast. Nicknamed ‘insane master of small lots’, William crafts about 15 different wines each vintage, including some that are only 1 – 2 barrels. These are old world, elegant wines focused on brightness, subtlety and texture. We hope you enjoy them.

Brewer Clifton - Greg Brewer
Over 20 years ago two young aspiring winemakers met, each bringing a vision and a drive to produce world-class wine. Focusing on the Burgundian roots of pinot noir and chardonnay, they paid homage to France. They were keen on making their own footprint and forging a style that was uniquely Californian. The wines embrace the power, pedigree and richness of the Sta. Rita Hills, that has become the trademark of Brewer–Clifton. At Brewer – Clifton, there is an utmost respect for nature. We believe that when working with a product of nature, it is necessary to always maintain an awareness of the elements and phenomena that are sometimes beyond our total understanding and control. If at any time that level of sensitivity is lessened, we risk the unavoidable degradation of the very goals that we are trying to pursue. As such, any intervention in the natural evolution of the product must be carried out with the utmost attentiveness and care.We believe that the geographic, geologic and climatic uniqueness of the Sta. Rita Hills appellation provides an ideal place to grow chardonnay and pinot noir grapes of intensity, complexity and specificity. Within this appellation, each vineyard carries its own imprint. Our mission and indeed our passion is to present wines that convey the characteristics inherent to each of these sites, with uncompromising quality.Visit Brewer Clifton Winery - https://www.winesoundtrack.com/cantine/brewer-clifton

Fiddlehead Cellars - Kathy Joseph
Kathy Joseph actively wears the hats of proprietor, winemaker, grape herder, number cruncher and marketing maestro. She started Fiddlehead Cellars 30 years ago when there were very few women who owned wineries, very few women winemakers, very few people making high-end, quality Pinot Noir or Sauvignon Blanc and very few people interested in the viticultural frontiers of Santa Barbara County and the north Willamette Valley. Mentored by five exceptional winemakers on the North Coast and armed with graduate studies from UC, Davis, Kathy took a leap of faith and in 1989 and created a boutique winery to make age-worthy wines of texture, elegance and expression of place. Her first vintage went to the White House and her Estate Vineyard, Fiddlestix, is now a mature, quintessential pinot noir paradise in the heart of the extraordinary Sta. Rita Hills. Her Sauvignon blancs, Grüner Veltliner’s and Oregon Pinot’s are equally expressive of their place and touted as having stylish, European grace. As “Head Fiddle”, Kathy’s is dedicated to sustainable farming and winemaking and she believes her love of winemaking and her infectious spirit must be reflected in every sip.

Limerick Lane - Jake Bilbro
Once known as The Boreen, an old Irish word meaning a small, unpaved country road, Limerick Lane has been home to small farms and vineyards for more than a century. The Del Fava family planted our oldest currently producing vineyard in 1910. Without the benefit of modern scientific methods now used to determine the best soils and sites, the Del Favas were the first to recognize the rare potential of this small, enclosed microclimate just south of Healdsburg. In the mid-1970’s, the Del Fava family sold to brothers Michael and Tom Collins. Like the Del Favas, the Collins brothers saw the potential inherent at Limerick Lane. They brought tremendous passion and enthusiasm to the property, overseeing the planting of twenty-five acres of Zinfandel, Syrah, and Grenache--the iconic Collins Vineyard. In addition the Collins brothers replanted and improved the existing vineyards, creating demand for their grapes at preeminent wineries De Loach, Chateau Souverain, Ravenswood, Davis Bynum and Gary Farrell.By 2009, Mike Collins was ready to sell, but was unwilling to see the beautiful old vines and all his hard work absorbed into a corporation or fall into the hands of investors just out to make a quick buck. Instead, he approached Jake Bilbro and asked if Jake would like to buy Limerick Lane Cellars and the Collins Vineyard. Jake, a member of a family renowned for principled vineyard stewardship and sustainable winemaking, grew up in the business at Marietta Cellars, founded by his father Chris in 1978. The chance to own Limerick Lane--a place from which his father, among others, had sourced exceptional fruit--was so exciting Jake spent two years pitching nearly every bank in California. One day before harvest began in 2011, a local bank in Healdsburg finally agreed to give him the loan. Only the third owner in the estate’s 106-year history, Jake brings modern farming and winemaking techniques to the inimitable fruit that only the historic Collins Vineyard can produce and creates wines that live up to the heritage that preceded him--wines noted not only for their exceptional balance and elegance, but with a specific sense of history and place as well.

Trombetta Family wines - Erica Stancliff
Trombetta Family Wines handcrafts beautifully balanced small lot Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from vineyards that exemplify the area in which they are planted. Erica Stancliff, daughter and winemaker, takes great pride in producing wines with purity of flavor and balance. Rickey Trombetta, mother and owner, works closely with Erica and our growers to identify only the best fruit for our wines.Trombetta Family Wines story began around the family table with food harvested from our garden paired with wines we loved. Our journey into winemaking began in the mid 80’s as home winemakers. Our passion for great food and wine led us down this lifelong journey.Rickey and Roger learned to make wine from Carmine Indindoli, a wine grape grower, co-worker and neighbor. A passion was ignited and they pursued winemaking courses at Santa Rosa Junior College and UC Davis. An opportunity to work side by side with Paul Hobbs in 1998 changed our hobby into a passionate pursuit of winemaking. One night at dinner, Paul discovered Erica’s palate at age 10. Encouraging Erica’s talent, Paul walked vineyards around Napa and Sonoma counties with her. In 2010 Erica graduated from California State University Fresno with her degree in enology. She flew to Mendoza, Argentina to intern at Viña Cobos. Upon her return, she worked the 2011 California harvest at Rudd Estate in Napa with winemaker Patrick Sullivan. Enartis Vinquiry hired her as enologist to work with winemakers solving problems and teaching how to prevent problems from occurring. After two and a half years there she moved to CrossBarn where she picked up the reins of the Trombetta project. Erica has been the Trombetta Family winemaker since 2014.

Pedroncelli - Julie Pedroncelli and Ed St John
The winery and vineyards are located in Dry Creek Valley, an American Viticultural Area we helped form. Renowned as prime land for grape growing, high quality wines are the result. The climate, where the development in ripening grapes isprotected from the heat by the marine fog intrusion in the evenings, is singular andunparalleled. Pedroncelli wines are regionally focused and site specific and we’velearned to pair the right varietal with the best place creating great character.Dry Creek Valley and Zinfandel are synonymous so it’s natural that it would be theflagship wine—it’s been growing here since the turn of the 20th century. And, having been the first to plant Cabernet Sauvignon in Dry Creek Valley where it thrives,it makes sense that the two make up over 50% of estate vineyards. With 13 varietalsplanted over 105 acres as well as sourcing grapes from nearby neighbors and friendsthe house style of delightful acidity, superb balance and distinct varietal charactershines in every bottle. Pedroncelli wines are made with friends and family in mindand pair as nicely with food as they do with a glass.

Peay Vineayards - Andy Peay
Peay Vineyards is a family-run estate winery started in 1996 by Andy and Nick Peay. We were the first to grow grapes in the northwestern corner of the West Sonoma Coast. The 50 acre vineyard lies at 600 feet elevation, 3 miles from the chilly Pacific Ocean. A cool afternoon ocean wind, our placement in the cold coastal inversion layer produced by the Pacific Ocean, and our ancient marine soils allow us to produce wines of elegance, intensity and focus. Our winemaker is Vanessa Wong, formerly winemaker at Peter Michael Winery with stints at Château Lafite Rothschild, Domaine Jean-Gros, et al.

Vidon Vineyard - Don Hagge
Physicist, farmer and winemaker, Don Hagge produces VIDON wines from his Chehalem Mountains Estate Vineyard that he built with his wife Vicki (Vi-Don, get it?). Don brings science and engineering to the Willamette Valley wine industry, where he is intentionally unconventional – from the vines planted in the vineyard to the self-engineered wine equipment to the non-cork closures. VIDON produces between 1,500 and 2,000 cases each vintage of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Viognier, Syrah and Tempranillo, all grown on the Estate Vineyard. Both the winery and the vineyard are LIVE certified, and VIDON practices sustainable farming and minimal intervention in the winemaking process including indigenous fermentations.

Stags Leap Winery - Christophe Paubert
On one of California’s earliest wine estates, a unique terroir and ideal microclimate support a classical standard of viticulture, land use, and winemaking that is as relevant today as it was over a century ago. An intimate valley within the greater Napa Valley, Stags’ Leap is a place of natural beauty, storied buildings and gardens, a lively history, and a reputation for elegant wines showing finesse and intensity.Estate Founder Horace Chase partnered with his uncle, W. W. Thompson, on land where grapes had been planted in the 1880s by T.L. Grigsby (of nearby Occidental Winery, today’s Regusci Winery). The construction of the Manor House in 1890 was followed by the blasting of the Historic Wine Cave and first vintage in 1893. By 1895 production on the estate was up to 40,000 gallons of wine. The Stags Leap name originated in the late 1880s with the founding Chase family, and is attributed to a native Wappo legend of a stag leaping to escape hunters. The mountains behind the property on the eastern side came to be known as the Stags Leap Palisades.Wine production has been interrupted periodically since the first Chase vintage due to financial reversals, Prohibition, and war; however, wine grapes have been grown continuously on the estate since its founding.A fashionable country resort in the mid-twentieth century (the Grange Era), popular with Hollywood due to its 1890s stone Manor House and historic gardens, legends of bootleggers and gangsters, ghosts and gypsies, Stags’ Leap has been home to three major family groups up through the modern revitalization of the winery that began in the 1970s.

James MacPhail Consulting - James MacPhail
First and foremost, James MacPhail is a winemaker. For over 18 years he has handcrafted high quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay - in small quantity. His AVAs have ranged from Santa Barbara to Eola-Amity Hills in Oregon - with Anderson Valley, Russian River Valley, and the cooler regions of Sonoma Coast peppered in between. With an industry flooded with novices, James is a reputable veteran. His long history of success making premium wines for his own label (and others) has primed James MacPhail to offer this expertise as a high-end wine consultant, and so ‘Wines by James MacPhail, LLC’ was born. Undoubtedly dedicated and committed to his craft, James has produced over 100 different Pinots and Chardonnays (also a Merlot and a Cab!) with 90+ point scores -- making him one of the only few members of the 90+/90+ Club in Sonoma County. James realized that winemaking satisfied his interest in the things that motivated him and kept his interests keen: the local land, art, business - and the desire to create. So it seemed natural for him to launched his own brand in 2001: ‘MacPhail Family Wines’. His gift for creating exceptional wines was recognized and in 2007 James was asked by The Hess Collection to start Sequana, an exclusive Pinot Noir program focused on Pinot noir from the Russian River Valley and the Santa Lucia Highlands appellations. By 2011 he was making 4000 cases for MacPhail Family Wines, and 12,000 cases for Sequana. The hats James was wearing were many, and in the fall of 2011, it was mutually agreed that The Hess Collection would acquire his brand so that James could focus on what got him into the industry in the first place - his love of winemaking. In 2016, after years of intense ‘hands-on’ for both brands, James decided to leave The Hess Collection and take his knowledge and expertise in crafting Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and become a resource for others. “Wines by James MacPhail” became a reality. Partnering only with wine-growers and vineyard managers that understand the significance of terroir-based, vineyard designate wine, and share his same commitment to sustainable farming, James’ dream has always been to make something from the earth that he can share with others. An expert in his craft, James plans to make wine as long as he retains his six senses - the sixth being his acute understanding of the grape. Throughout it all, he stays true to his belief in traditional, old world techniques and minimal intervention. James MacPhail takes very seriously the honor of being a part of people’s tables. Here, he says, is where relationships are formed, ideas are exchanged, and passions are shared.

La Lepiane - Alison Thompson
L.A. Lepiane Wines was established in 2013 with the simple goal of crafting vibrant, exciting, balanced wines made by my own two hands. The name of my project is a nod to my great grandfather, Luigi A. Lepiane, who came from Piane Crati in Calabria, Italy with a dream of making a successful life for his family in the New Country. He settled in Hollister, California, where he established a grocery store and his own winery, L.A. Lepiane. Three generations later, that deep Calabrian love of food and family guided me through my education and career. I studied biology and Italian at U.C. Santa Barbara, devoting a semester to studying abroad in Siena, Italy, where my love for Italian food and wines turned into a healthy obsession. Later, while earning my master’s degree in Viticulture from U.C. Davis, I jumped at the chance to work for one of the top wine producers in Barolo, Italy, making some of the best wines in the world. Now at home in Santa Barbara, California, I have embraced the region’s unique ability to grow Barbera and Nebbiolo, alongside more well known grapes like Grenache. It is both thrilling and challenging to work with grapes so few have experience with here in California.I dedicate these wines to my great grandfather’s memory, my family, and to you and your dinner table. It is my earnest hope that you drink them in the spirit of enjoyment.

Keller Estate - Ana Keller
Keller Estate started in 1989 when Arturo and Deborah planted the first 13 acres of Chardonnay, soon after 6 acres of Pinot Noir followed and Ana joined the family effort in 1998 with the mindset to start producing wines. Keller Estate Winery began making wine in 2000 and is 100% estate. Our mission is to produce wines that reflect our unique terroir. The uniqueness comes from the windy Petaluma Gap site and from the intense minerality found on the property. Crafting wines that as food friendly is the always the guiding light as we gently take the fruit from the vineyard to the bottle. We are moving towards biodynamic practices as we have realized that integrating our farm holistically is the only way to ensure our ranch will be passed to the next generation and that we can continue to farm for generations to come. Our focus in establishing the Petaluma Gap comes from the need to help define the Sonoma Coast for both trade and consumers.

L'Objet Noir - Dan Glover
In a previous life I was immersed in the art and culture of the music industry, writing and producing in Los Angeles when a different muse caught my eye in the form of the seductive Pinot Noir, drawing me into the artistry of winemaking. After several years at various wineries such as Clos du Bois, Assistant Winemaker at Armida and Winemaker at Dutcher Crossing, I decided now to honor my muse with a creation all my own: L’Objet Wines. My philosophy on winemaking is really very simple. I pursue the finest vineyards and fruit, turning away grapes I believe would require too much manipulation. I believe that the vineyard should do the talking and I am the steward for it’s voice. I am sure you will find the quality of the grapes, the vineyards and this wine will speak for itself.

Buttonwood Farm Winery - Karen Steinwachs
Our estate vineyard is planted on the hilltop mesa overlooking the tasting room, orchard and lower vegetable gardens. The vineyard is a set of rolling and undulating hills, each planted to a grape varietal best suited to that particular location. The vines are all planted on their own roots, set into the classic 8’x10′ spacing.Vineyard Manager Armando Zepeda has been farming the vineyard since it was first planted, and seems to know each vine personally. Armando is joined in the vineyard by soil consultant Stan Kadota and viticulturist Francisco Ramirez.Harvest generally begins in September of each year, followed by the planting of a cover crop of barley, sweet pea and fava beans for the winter months. January brings the pruning crew, with each vine cane-pruned, with bud-break generally arriving in March, fruit set in May and veraison in July/August.The vineyard map shows the changes over the years. The original vineyard plan was relatively simple, with largish blocks containing a single grape varietal: Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. This reflects our original focus on Bordeaux-style wines.Over the years, our understanding of what grows well in our part of Santa Ynez Valley and our tastes in wine have evolved and we have grafted some of the original vines to other varietals. The biggest change is the addition of the Rhône varietals Syrah, Grenache Noir, Grenache Blanc and Viognier. Malbec was added to our palette of red Bordeaux reds and the Musque clone of Sauvignon Blanc added to give greater complexity and aromatics, and a bit of Chenin Blanc planted in 2017.

Martinelli Winery - Regina Martinelli
The Martinelli family has been growing grapes in the Russian River Valley since the 1880’s. At the ages of 19 and 16, Giuseppe Martinelli and Luisa Vellutini eloped from their small village in the Tuscany region of Italy, making their way to California looking for land to farm and start a winery. Giuseppe had been a winemaker in Italy and with his viticulture knowledge he was hired to plant a vineyard for a farmer in Forestville. Within two years he earned enough money, and borrowed some from a local wood cutter, to purchase land of his own. Working side by side on a 60 degree slope, Giuseppe and Luisa planted a small area of Zinfandel and Muscat Alexandria vines, which later became known as the Jackass Hill vineyard. Over 100 years later, this south easterly exposure remains the steepest non-terraced vineyard in Sonoma County. To this day, the Martinellis still sell more grapes then are used to make their own wines; about 90% of the grapes they farm are sold to other Sonoma County wineries. Lee Sr. and his two sons, Lee Jr. and George, continue the proud legacy of care-taking the land, and you may meet one of the Martinelli daughters, Julianna or Regina, on the road at various events or at the winery.

Left Coast Wine - Joe Wright
Family owned and operated Left Coast Estate has been built and guided by two essential principles: a passion for winemaking and a deep connection to the land where we live and farm. Founded in 2003, we completed the initial phase of the winery just in time for the inaugural 2004 vintage of our label bearing a Lewis and Clark map, illustrating our special place in the world. We are in the middle of the Willamette Valley, just 37 miles from the Pacific Ocean with the immense, cooling benefit of the Van Duzer Corridor running through the property. n the fifteen years since our beginnings, we have gone from a largely grape growing operation with long term contracts with fellow Oregon producers, a wonderful opportunity to establish the high quality of our fruit, to an all Estate commitment. We farm nearly 160 acres of vines on our 500 acre Estate, largely sedimentary soil laid down by the Missoula floods and some volcanic soil as well. We grow and meticulously tend our vines and grapes, handcraft our wines and bottle them on site, a fusion of art and science, most certainly a labor of love.

Larsen Projekt - Robert Larsen
The summer leading up to my 50th birthday we went to France. It took that long to finally get there. The trip included Laura, Skylar and me as well as neighbors from two households on our street. We saw lots, walked a great deal, eat amazing food, but one of the most wonderful moments w experienced was a fountain-side café in Aix en Provence that placed buckets of rosé in te fountain for service.Upon seeing it, we wowed to go for lunch, right after we found our apartment and dropped off our luggage. After a couple of blocks and four flight of narrow and steep stairs up to our pad we headed back and lounged, sipped and laughed at a bistro table in a courtyard next to the very fountain Laura drew for our Provence inspired rosé.

Cartograph Wines - Alan Baker
From a longtime career in classical music production for public radio, to being one of the fist wine podcasters to becoming a successful winemaker and brand co-owner, Cartograph Wines’ Alan Baker has had a journey fueled by creativity and passion. Alan’s “Aha!” moment after opening a bottle of Riesling on a kayak in the middle of a lake, sparked an immediate desire to learn more about wine and ultimately inspired him to leave a 15-year career at Minnesota Public Radio to journey to Healdsburg, California – the heart of California’s acclaimed Russian River, Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys - to pursue this new craft. Unsure of what aspect of the industry he would be best suited to, he used his radio experience to create a wine-focused podcast (the second only in the industry) called Cellar Rat, trading publicity with wineries for knowledge and offering listeners an inside look at all aspects of the wine business. As one of the very first wine podcasters, through interviews and in-depth episode research, Alan was able to dig in and learn in-depth the ropes of the wine business. His quickly amassed knowledge and passion for the industry landed him a position at San Francisco-based custom crush and production facility, CrushPad - where he worked through the business to become a consulting winemaker.Leveraging his podcast’s growing audience, Alan offered his listeners the opportunity to participate in the winemaking process and the fruits of his labor, in turn assisting him in funding his venture. For a fee, audience members could visit the production facility and take part in Alan’s project. He documented it all on a video podcast - which grew to be called Pinot 2.0 and the group of regular participants became known as “The Rat Pack”. Successfully utilizing his social media following, Alan employed crowd-sourcing to fund his first release (Cellar Rat Cellars) and build his brand long before these terms became commonplace. Only after meeting Serena Lourie, his now partner in business and life, as her assigned mentor winemaker at CrushPad, was the dream of Cartograph conceived. A socially responsible company built on strong relationships and with a goal of producing truly exceptional and distinctive wines, Cartograph was founded in 2009. Known for their elegant, ultra-premium Pinot Noirs, Alsatian-styled white wines and now sparkling wines (new to 2018) the brand’s core values center on education and the importance of being hands-on, to make truly handcrafted wine.

Berryessa Gap - Nicole Salengo
We are immigrants, pioneers, farmers and entrepreneurs.Berryessa Gap’s connection to the land runs deep with farming roots from both Spanish and German ancestry in historic Winters, CA in Yolo County. Our father Dan Martinez, Sr., a first generation farmer of Spanish immigrants, planted apricots, almonds, prunes and walnuts in Winters. Dan Sr. partnered with San Francisco winemaker and wine historian Ernest Peninou in 1969 to develop a grapevine rootstock nursery business, Yolo Hills Viticulture Society, supplying UC Davis-sourced grapevine rootstock to what would become renowned Napa and Sonoma Valley vineyards and beyond. For thirty years, Martinez Orchards continued to sell rootstock cultivated in Winters to vineyards in neighboring counties, and in 2000, Dan Martinez Jr. and collaborative business and farming partner Santiago Moreno purchased the Coble Ranch at the crest of rolling hills overlooking Berryessa Gap - a local visual landmark seen for miles around – and planted this never before cultivated land to vineyards. The Coble Ranch is the estate vineyard from which Berryessa Gap’s grapes are sourced. Martinez Orchards continues to grow and sell grapevine rootstock throughout California today. The site of Berryessa Gap Vineyards commands this view, overlooking literally a gap between the hills, east of Lake Berryessa. Here stands a very large and stately oak tree, thought to be around 300 years old. Surrounding this fine oak tree are the rolling vineyards which produce distinctive wines of the region, planted with rootstock grown only by Martinez Orchards.Steeped in family agricultural history in Winters, our winery operations began on Main Street in 2002 as we repurposed the old Winters Winery facility, and is now the location of our expanded wine tasting room. Mike Anderson, Ernest Peninou’s great nephew, became our winemaker, continuing the legacy and bringing regional terroir into focus and helping to launch our business. In 2005, we expanded and relocated our winemaking production to the historic Tufts Ranch fruit packing warehouse, minutes from downtown Winters. We invite guests to visit our second wine tasting room there, as a memorable stop on wine country backroad Highway 128 traveling to or from nearby Napa Valley. Both wine tasting locations showcase our family farming and viticulture heritage with roots in Northern California wine country brought to each glass - from rootstock to bottle. In 2013, Berryessa Gap hired winemaker Nicole Salengo to bring her local winemaking expertise to the market with fine new wine offerings. Nicole is passionate about the uniqueness and potential of Winters terroir - her winemaking style has already garnered many accolades in domestic and international wine competitions.

L.A. Wine Project - Jason Martin
The Winery born in An L.A. Garage. From our humble beginnings in a South Los Angeles garage, we’ve always had a clear mission: to be California’s first and best rosé winery. But having no family background in Napa, and zero experience as winemakers, there was only one way to approach this; as our punk-rock forebears would have: with three-chords and a dream. So we bought some books, built a cold room in the garage, and put a bunch of wine gear on our credit cards. After a few years of learning the ropes we decided we were ready to take our rough-around-the-edges wine show on the road and so launched our first commercial vintage in 2016.

Domaine Anderson - Darrin Low
In 2011, the Rouzaud family acquired the Dach family property - a beautiful, small ranch in the heart of the Anderson Valley. Over time, pinot noir and chardonnay grapes were planted and the Domaine Anderson winery, designed specifically for small lot production of site-specific pinot noir and chardonnay wines, was built. Vineyard management practices are focused on achieving the highest quality grapes, using sustainable techniques that benefit the health and natural harmony of the vineyard as a whole. The vineyards for Domaine Anderson wines span the Anderson Valley, from the warmer, up-valley town of Boonville to the cooler regions closer to the Mendocino coast. They are planted on gently sloped knolls, and on steep hillsides. Soils range from rocky, river gravels to the finest clay loams. Wines are produced from 100% estate-grown grapes from our Anderson Valley vineyards, allowing complete control over stewardship of the land. The wines are balanced, and elegant. Both the pinot noir and chardonnay wines are marked by an innate purity and curious depth.

Spring Mountain Vineyard - Justin Hirigoyen
The new Spring Mountain Vineyard was once three separate properties each with its own vineyard and winery: Spring Mountain Vineyards (Miravalle) 257 acres, Chateau Chevalier (Chevalier) 120 acres, and Draper Vineyards (La Perla) 435 acres. The upper most property on the estate, La Perla, was founded in 1873 by Charles Lemme and expanded by the Schilling Spice family. Originally 285 acres it had the first Cabernet Sauvignon planted on Spring Mountain. The old winery remains today along with much of its original equipment and horse drawn carriages and wagons. Immediately below La Perla, and eventually added to it was the first vineyard planted by Fredrick and Jacob Beringer in 1882. These terraced hillsides were planted in a wide assortment of grape varieties to support the Beringer brothers fledgling winery.Adjoining to the north of the Beringer vineyard was a Frenchman, Fortune Chevalier, whose stone winery, Chateau Chevalier, was making wine in 1891. And finally, next door to Chevalier was Tiburcio Parrott who grew olives, citrus and grapes. Parrott built a grand home on the estate which he named Miravalle.

Crocker & Starr Winery - Pam Starr
In 1997, Charlie Crocker and Pam Starr established Crocker & Starr on the Crocker Estate in St. Helena, resurrecting a world-class vineyard with roots dating back to the 1870s. Charlie is co-owner with Pam, the winery manager and winemaker. Between Charlie’s historic estate that has grown grapes for over 140 years and Pam’s winemaking expertise, vision, and business acumen, the partners proved to be a spectacular match. The winery handcrafts a small production of exquisite wines from select blocks within the 100-acre vineyard. The vines are cultivated following organic principles, and the clusters are hand harvested, transformed into wine through cutting edge winemaking techniques, blending the best of Old World philosophy and New World fruit. Starr presides over the estate’s wines to capture the essence of the vineyard’s extraordinary terroir. The result is complex and balanced, elegant wines that express the aromatic profile of the Crocker Vineyard. The estate Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard, named “Stone Place” yields a wine of distinction with a slight mineralogy and a deep brooding quality of black chocolate that Charlie and Pam consider their crowning achievement. The winery also makes a Cabernet Franc, a Sauvignon Blanc, a Malbec blend named “Casali,” and two wines – a Napa appellation Cabernet blend and a Sauvignon Blanc blend – under the label “Bridesmaid.” Crocker & Starr’s Sauvignon Blanc was rated the “12th Best Wine in the World” in Wine Spectator’s 2006 “Top 100 List.” In 2014, Crocker & Starr began work on their new production facility on the historic Crocker Estate. The building was completed in the summer of 2016, just in time for the 20th anniversary of Charlie and Pam’s collaboration.
