Pete Ringmaster of The RingMaster Review, says of Gary Dranow:  “It is fair to say that there is an adventuring spirit within Gary Dranow that is persistently looking for new possibilities and undertaking fresh adventures.  The same can be said for Gary’s music and a creative craving that explores, evolves, and never stands still.” Gary Dranow is a former professional skier turned rock musician who competed in the National Standard Race from 1987 to 2010.  Gary was ranked number one nationally in his age group as a professional skier and one of the top twenty men in NASCAR from the 2005 to 2010 seasons. He became a USSA-certified professional ski coach in 2004. Gary made his mark racing and as an instructor before founding the Modern Ski Racing Academy. Gary’s musical calling began at 11 when he heard “Crossroads” by Cream on the radio.  The encounter with the song sparked a realization that he wanted to be a guitarist. That acknowledgment and intent were brought to life the following day, with his mother taking him to the Ernie Ball guitar shop.  Within a year, he had started his first band, The New Invaderz. Gary is also a successful entrepreneur. He founded Spoiled Brats of California, a garment manufacturing company, and mortgage brokerage company First Manhattan Funding (FMF, Inc.). He developed and sold Cyborg Information Systems, a fully automated mortgage process software.  It has been a journey in life as rich as Gary’s music within acclaimed releases such as his 2023 album, “Destiny Road,” a record themed by his experiences with Bipolar 1 Disorder, and his new EP, “Never Give Up.” The latter keenly relish the seeds of diversity within Gary’s American/blues rock-rooted sound, his songs openly embracing a variety of alternative and rock flavors within heart-bred contemplations. Cary Baker is a writer from Chicago, Illinois, who worked as a freelance journalist before becoming a publicist in the music industry. Cary began writing in high school, publishing the blues fanzine Blue Flame. After studying journalism at Northern Illinois University, Cary Baker was an editor at Triad Magazine and later directed publicity and wrote liner notes for Ovation Records. Also at this time, Cary ran the short-lived record label Fiction Records. Cary wrote freelance articles for several publications throughout the 1970s and early 1980s. In 1984, he became the vice president of publicity at I.R.S. Records, where he worked with artists such as R.E.M. and the Go-Go's until 1988, when he became the national director of media & artist relations for Capitol Records, a position he held for two years. Following his time at Capitol Records, Cary worked for a variety of independent record labels, as well as for PLA Media in Nashville, Tennessee. My great-grandmother (Nana) was Spanish. English was her second language. With only an eighth-grade education, she learned about life through raising her family and showing love through her kitchen and her cooking. Her specialty was a pot of pink beans with chunks of bacon dripped into her homemade tortillas with a slab of churned butter. She served them with grilled tri-tip on her little kitchen table. Traveling with Stacey on this musical journey was her dear friend, pianist Art Hirahara. Stacey was in a hotel room in New York City, and we talked on and off the mic/camera for nearly two hours. It was one of the best conversations I've had with such an established, well-known musician. Easy, relaxed, and an honest conversation. I became an even bigger fan of Stacey's. Stacey Kent has a legion of fans worldwide, a host of honors and awards, including a GRAMMY® nomination, album sales in excess of 2 million, and Platinum, Double-Gold, and Gold-selling albums that have reached a series of No. 1 chart positions during her career. Throughout 2020-2021, with her concert appearances on pause, Stacey remained busy recording from home and staying in touch with her fans through social media. She released several recordings, including Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds, Bill Wither’s Lovely Day, and the EP, Christmas In The Rockies (Token 2020). In his twenties, he worked as a keyboardist with Miles Davis and Freddie Hubbard.  He has long been associated with Dianne Reeves and has collaborated with Christian McBride, John Patitucci, Chaka Khan, Dave Grusin, Lee Ritenour, Steely Dan, Queen Latifah, and Chucho Valdés. THE KIMI KATO SHOW with Jeremiah Featuring Michael Naishtut | Actor - Disney, Film, TV, Theatre - and Founder of Akaoni Daiko | Taiko Drumming Michael was born in Brooklyn, New York. He has appeared in several productions in NYC, including at the NY Public Theater. He's performed at the EPCOT Center in Disney World and as a Puck in "Midsummer Night's Dream" at the Florida Shakespeare Festival. Michael starred in the film, "Legal Aliens" with Julie Dreyfus. Michael lived in Japan for 20 years, where he performed in major theaters with some of Japan's biggest stars, including famous Kabuki actor Ichikawa Ebizou in "Nobunaga" He was also frequently seen on television starring in popular children's programs like "Eigorian" and was active in computer game narrations, like "Shenmue" "Ace Combat" and "Resident Evil." He is the director of the Japanese version of the show. He also wrote and starred in the bi-cultural marriage comedy, "John and Yoko," directed by Yoko Narahashi. He performed the hit Broadway solo show "Defending the Caveman" in Tokyo in English. Michael directed the translation of the live shows at Universal Studios Japan and was often seen as an MC and Ring Announcer for Pride Bushido, K-1, and All Japan Wrestling. He is a founding member of the Tokyo Comedy Store, instrumental in bringing improv and Western-style stand-up comedy to Japan. He performed Japanese-style stand-up and sketch comedy as one half of "The Sushi Brothers" with Yoshimoto Kogyo comedian Zenjiro. Michael studied Taiko drumming with Miyauchi Yukihiro and founded Akaoni Daiko, performing at the KODO Earth Celebration fringe stage for ten years. Michael also has a third-degree black belt from the Nihon Karate-do Shotokai. Returning to Los Angeles, Michael continues his career as a bilingual MC performing in theatre, TV, and film and performing and teaching Taiko drumming.
