A 4,800 square-foot natural art exhibit is being created to commemorate International Day of the Girl to raise awareness about NASA’s Artemis Program and inspire women and girls through the high-profile STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) exhibit. The City of Atlanta approved the permit June 17, 2021 for the Earthwork installation in downtown Woodruff Park, Atlanta, Georgia.From October 11-22, the Earthwork will be displayed as an eco-friendly grass artwork featuring active NASA astronaut Stephanie Wilson. Her 42 days in space are the most of any female African American astronaut. Benton Ford Cockerell was born in Irving, Texas on July 9th 1992. Battling cancer when he was a toddler, he had an unusual introduction to the spot light. His bubbly personality in the midst of adversity, drew many people towards him. This led to him acting, singing, and playing the piano at age 7. From there, Ben went on to star in many community theatre and school productions. In college, he continued to do both musical theatre and professional theatre spending 2 years in the cast of "The Promise in Glen Rose." For the past 3 years, he has studied with character actor Glenn Morshower in The Extra Mile Workshop. He also is an award winning director winning "Best Romantic Comedy" in the Indie Short Fest, for the Los Angeles International Film Fest, in which he played the lead. The final selection of 5 traditional folk texts offered stories from Texas, Appalachia, and beyond. This personal approach led them to realize new connections between folk traditions across the world. When figuring out where to hang your one pieces in your closet system, they will fit perfectly in a double hang closet unit with two bars. Your longer pieces such as cover ups, skirts and sundresses will organize nicely in a tall long hang unit with a single bar. 2) Two Pieces When organizing your two pieces, the goal is to make sure they are always organized in a set. The worst feeling is when you are eager to head to the beach for the day and everything is mis-matched and you are rushing and stressed. Organize all your two pieces into sets. You can fold the bottoms in half and simply lay the top piece over it for an easy organizing system! You can fold the bottoms in half and then one more time to create that accordion file look, and then fold the top piece in half and place in your drawer. You can use hangers with a ribbed bottom to drape the bottoms on and then use the two clips for the top piece. This is your closet and your summer! All of these options will work. Pick which one makes your life easiest.3) Mens Trunks You can absolutely hang men's bathing suits. If you want it to have a clean and slim look, use hangers that have two clips on them. The bathing suit will be vertical and create a neat file look. You can also use a hanger that has a bottom rib on it and fold the bathing suit trunk over it. This works great as well also, but it will look a bit bulkier. It completely depends on how many suits you have and what look you wish to have. If you fold it over just make sure you fold it like you would a pant suit. Start from the bottom, flip it over, align the bottom pant line and then fold over the hanger. And if you want to make it easy-peasy, fold your bathing suit trunks. When folding you can simply fold in half and place it in the drawer or on your shelf, or you can take it one step further and fold it in an accordion file system.You simply fold in half, fold it upward, and then fold one more time to create a neat stacking swim trunk. These will stack beautifully in your closet or dresser drawers. HAPPY SUMMER EVERYONE!Remember, it is not about being perfect. You do not need to fold everything perfectly. Aaron Anderson, franchise owner of four Original Hot Dog Factory restaurants, partnered with Chef Reuben Harley to launch the new business in 2020. While nearly half of Black-owned businesses were forced to close during the pandemic, renowned Philadelphia entrepreneur Anderson found creative ways to not only stay open, but to also grow, by pivoting and adapting to current trends. “I will do all I can to make sure I can not only thrive during this time but will motivate others to do the same,” said Anderson. In addition to his four Original Hot Dog Factory locations in Center City, The Bourse Food Hall, Fishtown and Subaru Park, in summer 2020 he opened another franchise in Philadelphia and is in negotiations for one in New York. Menu items include the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Dog, topped with grilled pineapples, sweet onions and a sweet island sauce; a surf ‘n’ turf dog; an all-beet hot dog topped with lump crab meat and the Italian dog, a deep-fried sausage topped with peppers and onion. The Original Hot Dog Factory also serves chicken wings, burgers, fries and corn dog nuggets. Anderson credits some of his success during the pandemic to catering to first responders and essential workers, and making sure all his employees and take-out customers are in a safe environment to prevent the spread of COVID-19, with social distancing, face masks and the installation of self-service kiosks. Born and raised in the tough inner city of Philadelphia, Anderson credits his mother, a single parent of five, with his unyielding strength, discipline, humility, passion and persistent need to be of service to those in need. Anderson’s foray into being a business owner — the very first in his family — started with the launch of his own screen-printing company in 2009, Union Printing. The idea to start this company culminated while working as an assistant to a top record company executive at Sony in New York City. Anderson realized a need to provide quality merchandise for an affordable price after seeing an invoice at work and convinced his bosses that he could not only meet the demand for the record label’s printing, but most importantly, for a far better price. As the saying goes, the rest is history. Anderson not only surpassed expectations at Sony, but Union Printing established itself as a leader in the industry and is still hugely successful more than a decade later. Anderson’s success with Union Printing provided not only financial stability, but also the experience needed to open his first restaurant franchise in March 2020, which he did without needing any loans. His immediate success within The Original Hot Dog Factory organization led to him becoming an area representative, trainer for new franchisees and obtaining a percentage of company ownership. Anderson also recently acquired two Rita’s Italian Ice locations in Philadelphia, adding to his growing franchise empire.
