When it's hard to talk about what you do - Stuart Green on Cyber Security
Stuart describes himself as a “frequently underwhelmed engineer lurking in the murky cybersecurity realm” and is Managing Director of The Armour Group of Companies who are a group of cybersecurity focused businesses. The group’s aim is to help “people” understand the threats relative to them so they can make accurate risk assessments and take the right steps to form their defences against these dark criminals who are hell-bent on pillaging our digital communities BUT an increasingly disturbing amount of time is now being spent helping organisations of all sizes understand WHY they lost the contents of their bank account, lost a load of customer data or had their entire infrastructure encrypted by criminals. As much of what Stuart does is sensitive, he can't easily talk about what he does at networking meetings. Instead he focusses on helping other people make connections.
