Episode 57: Regan’s 2022 Lessons [Part 1]
As we are wrapping up 2022, I always love to end the year by sharing my biggest lessons as a business owner and human with you. Because every year, whether I want it or not lol, I learn so many lessons that changed my life.In this episode, I share a lesson that took me truly 3 years to grasp in my business. It is a million fucking dollar lesson. And this may SHOCK you.For the last three years, I have struggled to fully TRUST the idea, “If I do change my thoughts, I will change my reality.”This year, I finally found out why I didn't fully trust this magic... and I am going to share it with you.My trust has grown in this, and it’s a cornerstone of my coaching, but in 2022 I realized that trust was at 75% and not 100%.Here is how I know that, my reality wasn’t what I wanted it to be.I can say that without shame and without being mad at myself, because I have the skills and tools to be radically honest with myself, that I I love my life and yet I want more. There is something that whispers, “This isn’t it.”My trust with changing my thoughts was at 75% when it came to creating my results. But by the end of the year, it finally got into 100%.And today, I share what got in the way of that 25% difference. THIS 25% DIFFERENCE IS MY MILLION DOLLAR LESSON.This lesson is a two-parter:First, I am going to share why you don’t want to use the PROCESS of changing your thoughts to fix you.Second, you have to make sure that your top priority after that is to SELL YOURSELF on why changing your thoughts work. But even so, our brain has coupled these two things - debt and irresponsibility - together. To move forward, it is crucial that we uncouple the facts as we see them and instead recognize them for what they are: conditioning/habitual thinking.
