10 Tips To Becoming Unstoppable - EP 171

Becoming Unstoppable   The first key to becoming unstoppable is becoming aware of your self-imposed limitations and then breaking them. The second key to becoming unstoppable is developing a mindset that can handle anything life throws at you, including failure. Here are 10 Tips to Becoming Unstoppable 1. Do what successful people do — and stop doing what they don’t 2. Look for opportunities 3. Be a creator, not a replicator 4. Stop focusing on the ‘why’ and start focusing on the ‘how.’ 5. Know what success is — and isn’t 6. Stop taking yourself so seriously 7. Have a clear purpose 8. Manage your mindset; you can’t control everything 9. Start with what you can control; work your way up to what you can’t 10. Always think positively; don’t be afraid to take risks   Don’t let anyone tell you what you can or cannot do. Only you can make that decision. There are always new opportunities out there for those willing to look, although sometimes the answers will be right in front of you all along. The key is never to give up until you do find an answer — if not, perhaps it’s time to take a step back and think before moving forward again. The main thing is not to get discouraged.

Believe in Yourself and Create Your own Sunshine - EP 167

Believe in yourself & create your own sunshine   You are stronger than that voice inside your head telling you ‘you can’t’ or ‘you’re not good enough.’   It’s not always easy, but sometimes you need to shut down that over-criticizing voice because, let’s face it, that voice is a liar. Let go of the need to be perfect. It is challenging, and it takes time. Try to be yourself and let your thoughts flow naturally. You deserve your love and respect. Speak to yourself with kindness.   Build yourself up. Be able to reflect and assess without tearing yourself down. You are stronger than that mean voice; never let it make you forget that!

Become Bulletproof - Protect Yourself, Read People and Live Fearlessly - S2 - EPI - 159

Becoming Bulletproof means transforming yourself into a stronger, more confident, and more powerful person. Evy Poumpouras - former Secret Service agent to three presidents and one of only five women to receive the Medal of Valor - demonstrates how we can overcome our everyday fears, have difficult conversations, know who to trust and who might not have our best interests at heart, influence situations, and prepare for the unexpected. When you have become bulletproof, you are your best, most courageous, and most potent version of yourself. Poumpouras shows us that ultimately true strength is found in the mind, not the body.  Critical Lessons from the Book Lesson 1: People lie, don't let it affect you more than it should. Everyone lies, and we lie pretty often. So, we should learn to take people's lies less personally because that way, we can easily read people. Lesson 2: Dress Confidently.Lesson Your clothing can have a powerful impact on how others perceive you, so always consider your audience when picking out your wardrobe. 3: Command respect, don't demand it. Influence and respect are garnered organically. Demanding respect is often tacky and will get you the opposite reaction. Carry yourself with respect. Respect others and you will find yourself a respected and honoured person. Transform Yourself With This Affirmations - S2EP - 157

Transform Yourself With This Affirmations - S2EP - 157

I am successful. I am confident. I am powerful. I am strong. I am getting better and better every day. All I need is within me right now. I wake up motivated. I am an unstoppable force of nature. I am a living, breathing example of motivation. I am living with abundance. I am having a positive and inspiring impact on the people I come into contact with. I am inspiring people through my work. I’m rising above the thoughts that are trying to make me angry or afraid. Today is a phenomenal day. I am turning DOWN the volume of negativity in my life, while simultaneously turning UP the volume of positivity. I am filled with focus. I am not pushed by my problems; I am led by my dreams. I am grateful for everything I have in my life. I am independent and self-sufficient. I can be whatever I want to be. I am not defined my by past; I am driven by my future. I use obstacles to motivate me to learn and grow. Today will be a productive day. I am intelligent and focused. I feel more grateful each day. I am getting healthier every day. Each and every day, I am getting closer to achieving my goals. Through the power of my thoughts and words, incredible transformations are happening in me and within my life right now. I am constantly growing and evolving into a better person. I’m freeing myself from all destructive doubt and fear. I accept myself for who I am and create peace, power and confidence of mind and of heart. I am going to forgive myself and free myself. I deserve to forgive and be forgiven. I am healing and strengthening every day. I’ve made it through hard times before, and I’ve come out stronger and better because of them. I’m going to make it through this. I do not waste away a single day of my life. I squeeze every ounce of value out of each of my days on this planet—today, tomorrow, and everyday. I must remember the incredible power I possess within me to achieve anything I desire. I do not engage with people who try to penetrate my mind with unhelpful thoughts and ideas—I walk away when a person or a situation isn’t healthy for me. I belong in this world; there are people that care about me and my worth. My past might be ugly, but I am still beautiful. I have made mistakes, but I will not let them define me. My soul radiates from the inside and warms the souls of others. I don’t compare myself to others. The only person I compare myself to is the person I was yesterday. And as long as the person I am today is even the tiniest bit better than the person I was yesterday—I’m meeting my own definition of success. Note to self: I am going to make you so proud. I finish what matters and let go of what does not. I feed my spirit. I train my body. I focus my mind. This is my time. My life has meaning. What I do has meaning. My actions are meaningful and inspiring. What I have done today was the best I was able to do today. And for that, I am thankful. One small positive thought in the morning can change my whole day. So, today I rise with a powerful thought to set the tone and allow success to reverberate through every moment of my day. I set goals and go after them with all the determination I can muster. When I do this, my own skills and talents will take me to places that amaze me. Happiness is a choice, and today I choose to be happy. https://www.lifehack.org/863537/self-affirmation

Start Doing This For Yourself - S2EPI - 156

Start Doing This For Yourself - S2EPI - 156

Many of us put our happiness and dreams on hold for another day, when the truth is life is happening right now. If you want to make positive changes, today is the day. Want to know where to begin? Here are 30 things to start doing for yourself.     1. Create a vision for your life. Get clear on your purpose, what drives you and what you desire for your love life, relationships, career, finances, lifestyle, wellbeing and personal growth.   2. Meditate daily. Your investment of a few minutes of time will come back to you tenfold in the form of increased insight, inner peace, creativity and compassion. 3. Treat your body well. It is your home on this earth so nourish it with water, whole foods, walks, yoga and exercise. 4. Listen to your heart and intuition. Your heart is the key to your life purpose and it will provide you with wisdom and guidance that your thinking mind cannot comprehend. 5. Mix up your routine. Don't live the same year 85 times and call it a life -- try a new route, coffee shop, walking trail, hobby, activity, city or career. 6. Get clear on your values. Your deep underlying motivators like freedom, creativity, wisdom, abundance, vitality, connection and authenticity -- and start basing your life around them.   7. Make time for joy and pleasure. Write a list of all the things that make you come alive and do them weekly -- the whole world will benefit from your light and joy. 8. Pause throughout the day. Take your attention away from the circling thoughts and worries in your head and connect with the sights, sounds, smells, textures and beauty of life surrounding you. 9. Get comfortable being you. You were made by the Universe for a reason and you are a one-of-a-kind. Own who you are. 10. Create rituals. Whether it's a morning prayer, evening book or weekend brunch, rituals can help you incorporate your values into your life.

Cures For The Nice Guy Syndrome - S2EPI - 154

Cures For The Nice Guy Syndrome - S2EPI - 154

In No More Mr. Nice Guy (2000) Robert Glover analyzes the personality and psychology of “nice guys”.The core message is those nice guys aren’t really nice but are instead doormats who are nice out of fear of being assertive. Robert seeks to provide readers with advice and solutions to become a more assertive and higher-power man. 10 Traits of Nice Guys Most people have one or two of these traits, but nice guys have most of them: 1.   Givers 2.   Caretaker 3.   Seek approval from others (especially from women) 4.   Conflict-avoidant 5.   Seek the right way to do things 6.   Try to be perfect and avoid mistakes (so people don’t think they’re bad) 7.   Repress their feelings 8.   Want to be different from their fathers 9.   They’re more comfortable being with women 10.   They exert tremendous effort to make their partners happy. The Two Types of Nice Guys There are two types of nice guys: 1.   Those who think they are bad and need to correct themselves 2.   Those who think they are so good, lie to themselves to keep their self-image. The former had a troubled and rebellious childhood and now he feels like he needs to make up for it.The latter was the good boy of the family and he stays that way to keep his social identity and his self-identity.     Glover recommends these steps to overcome the Mr. Nice Guy syndrome: 1.   Force yourself to enforce your boundaries 2.   Learn to please yourself first 3.   Cut porn and learn to have sex for the sake of it 4.   Face your fears 5.   Repeat positive mantras 6.   Eat well 7.   Do sport 8.   Spend more time with men   Nice guys cannot have intimate relationships. Why? Because intimate relationships require people to look within themselves and open up about who they really are. But nice guys are always wearing a mask and always hiding their true selves. That makes their relationships unauthentic. 8 Steps to Overcome The “Mr. Nice Guy Syndrome” Nice Guys Don’t Have Intimate Relationships

Escape The Victimhood Mentality - S2 EPI - 152

Escape The Victimhood Mentality - S2 EPI - 152

Choosing To Be A Victim A victim mentality is something we learn and acquire. However, no one was born feeling like a victim. In other words, we can choose to break out of such a mindset and stop victimizing ourselves.  "It’s not my fault." Someone who acts from a place of victimhood claims things that happen to them are the fault of someone or something other than themselves. It might be the fault of their partner, family, co-worker, friend, or "the way the world is." They frequently complain about the bad things that happen in their lives. They are reluctant to take personal responsibility, asserting that the circumstances aren’t in their control.   Signs You Have a Victimhood Mindset It’s normal to be unsatisfied in some parts of your life. But it’s important to look at the bigger picture. If you notice similar patterns across different areas of your life, you might have a victim mentality.  The first step to solving a problem is to identify and acknowledge it. Look for these signs in yourself to see if you might have adopted a victim mentality:  ‌You blame others for the way your life is ‌You truly think life is against you  ‌You have trouble coping with problems in your life and feel powerless against them  ‌You feel stuck in life and approach things with a negative attitude  ‌You feel attacked when someone tries to offer helpful feedback  ‌Feeling bad for yourself gives you relief or pleasure ‌You attract people who blame others and complain about their life  ‌It’s difficult for you to examine yourself and make changes Escape The Victimhood Mindset Victim mentality is learned behavior.  In other words, it’s not something you’re born with. It's something you learn in a social environment. It could be learned from family members or the result of trauma. However, you have the power to overcome it. Take the first steps in the following ways.    Take responsibility. You are the only one who controls your actions. You might not be able to control others, but you control how you react to them. You control who you spend your time with, and where. Realize your potential and get in the driver’s seat of your life.  Self-care and compassion. Victim mentalities are subconsciously adopted as a way to cope, often from past trauma. Be compassionate to yourself in your recovery. Practice self-care and self-love. Journaling can be a helpful tool to work through your feelings.  Start saying no. You can say no to something you don’t want to do. It’s okay. Even if other people feel you are letting them down, take care of your energy and prioritize yourself.   Educate yourself. Read books about the victim mentality and how it affects your life. Consider seeking therapy. The more you educate yourself on the topic, the more likely you are to stay on track with your recovery and avoid going back to your old way of thinking.     What Does a Victim Mentality Mean?

Embrace the Unknown And Transform Your Life - S2EPI - 151

Ways you can embrace the unknown   Here are some ideas on how to stretch your comfort zone little by little.    Stop overthinking and overplanning The next time you have a decision to make, embrace the unknown and do not try to predict your distant future. Stick with the immediate facts and choices.    Learn to live in the present moment Live in the now. We cannot change the past. We cannot predict the future. we are missing out on the only thing we do have – the present moment.   Indulge in spur-of-the-moment experiences   Do not compare your past experiences with what is happening right now.    Switch fear for curiosity when you decide to be curious about what happens next, you will learn to embrace the unknown and uncertainty and, at the same time, help other beneficial psychological processes to evolve freely.   Exercise gratitude When you develop the habit of being grateful, you also learn to notice how every situation brings something to be thankful for. Such a skill will help you embrace the unknown because you know that every cloud has a silver lining.

10 Signs You're Mentally Strong - S2EPI-134

Let’s face it, life can be brutal sometimes – beating us down and even breaking some of the strongest of us. Society can be hard and indifferent, always sending new challenges and obstacles our way. How could you think you are weak when every time you break, you come back stronger than before??? 10 Signs You're Mentally Strong... 1. You take responsibility for your actions. Taking responsibility is a rare quality these days...found in only the strong. 2. You don’t rely on external validation. This means that relying on the approval of others puts you in a perpetual place of confusion and unhappiness – two potent poisons that take away your inner power. 3. You are clear on your values. If you find yourself capable of standing by your values in very trying moments, know that you are a very strong person. 4. You are striving for a better life. A lot of people give up on their dreams and aspirations. If you still have the fire in your eyes – then you are strong. 5. You're constantly improving yourself. Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection. - Mark Twain 6. You face your fears. Being able to face your fears is a huge indicator you're stronger than you think. 7. You work on your weaknesses. You accept your weaknesses – work with and around them in order to achieve your goals. 8. You are seldom jealous. If you can cheer others on, and celebrate their wins with them, it means that you are confident in your own affairs... Congratulate more than criticize. 9. You don’t bother wearing masks. You don’t pretend to be anyone but who you are. 10. You're okay with taking up challenges. You don’t run away from work, or complain about problems when they arise, but tackle them head-on. Bonus... You are not afraid of being alone. Even in the face of rejection, failure, abandonment, and despair, if you are able to find yourself at peace, know that without an ounce of doubt, you are stronger than you give yourself credit for...

5 Tips On How To Worry Less About What Others Think of You - S2EPI-132

Five Tips to Help You Worry Less About What Others Think of You 1. Realize most people aren’t really thinking about you. We often think others are staring at us or thinking about us continually, but in reality, they’re not. They’re just not.  They are probably busy thinking of their own lives and their own issues. 2. Believe in yourself. I know this may be hard to accept for some people, but what you believe about yourself is more important than what others think of you.  3. Practice reciting positive affirmations. Allowing others to control your feelings based on what they think of you can feel like a prison.  You can stay free from that prison by practicing positive affirmations daily.  4. Embrace authenticity. To be authentic means to be who you are – all of you.  5. Don’t judge others. Do you make it a habit to judge others? If so, think about how it feels when people judge you. It doesn’t feel great.  Let others be who they are right where they are on their journey and focus more on you. Worry Less About What Others Think & Focus on What YOU Think
