Ep #025 Eega Maakhi aka "The Fly" w Helen Zaltzman from "The Allusionist" and Matthew Crosby from “Pappy's”

Ep #025 Eega Maakhi aka "The Fly" w Helen Zaltzman from "The Allusionist" and Matthew Crosby from “Pappy's”

Episode 25 sees Helen (The Allusionist, Answer Me This) Zaltzman (the first lady of podcasting) and Matthew (Pappy’s) Crosby return for Helen’s choice Eega/Maakhi (The Fly). Badly dubbed mish mash of genres served up Bollywood style.   We can only assume the delirium felt by Helen after a traumatic house move affected her decision to revisit this terrible film. The hero of Eega is murdered by a jealous rival and reincarnated as a fly, who then takes revenge to save his love interest. Thats it - for over two hours. Featuring a fly weight lifting and other ridiculous overly long predictable scenarios, unmemorable songs and terrible cgi - not fun for all the family. f you’re after an emotionless mess of crazy fly revenge antics with characters devoid of personality - with songs then this is definitely for you!   Scores [supsystic-tables id='25'] Despite Helen Z’s best efforts Helen S still thought this film is terrible - scoring 2.9 - which is fairly good considering. Ep #024 Young Frankenstein w Gemma and Susan from "Hayley and Ruth: Two Stars"

Ep #024 Young Frankenstein w Gemma and Susan from "Hayley and Ruth: Two Stars"

We're back! It's Episode 24 and we’re in with a classic! Susan from Hayley and Ruth: Two Stars choose Young Frankenstein which was the second film that director Mel Brooks released in 1974 (The first was Blazing Saddles). Young Frankenstein follows  Gene Wilder's Dr Frankenstein (Pronounced "FRONKENSTEEN") a talented american based neurosurgeon that whats to maintain a distance between himself and his grandfather the madcap Victor Von Frankenstein. This was until he inherits his grandfather's fortune and then heads to live in his inherited castle with Igor, Frau Blucher and Inga Scores [supsystic-tables id='25'] Young Frankenstein was a delight for all around the table! Kobi had never seen it before whilst the others had done but not recently. It's a classic that still looks great and benefits from being shot on the initial set and, of course, Mel Brooks' awesomeness and the excellent cast! Scoring 4.14 - A high score as expected! Ep #023 Happy w Conversations with Samantha & and The Unconventionalists

Ep #023 Happy w Conversations with Samantha & and The Unconventionalists

It's Episode 23 and we’re reviewing a documentary! Sam from Conversations with Samantha & chooses Happy, a 2011 feature documentary film directed, written, and co-produced by Roko Belic. Happy is an exploration of the definition of happiness - what makes us happy and what happiness means to different people. Looking at real life stories about different perspectives on happiness - the Brazilian surfer living the dream, Danish co-housing community but also touching on the opposite of happiness - Japanese Karōshi (working to death). The documentary is unlikely to make you happier or change your life dramatically - it's not an exercise in self-help. Surprisingly though it reveals that more money doesn’t necessarily equate to more happiness. Scores [supsystic-tables id='24'] Feeling dated already - remember "Myspace" anyone? Happy is missing a proper international feel and doesn’t really offer anything particularly ground breaking or revelatory but it is a short watch at 1 hour 16 minutes. Scoring 2.6 - the feelings were pretty unanimous across the board. Scoring 2.6 - the feelings were pretty unanimous across the board. What do you guys think? Have you seen Happy? What did you think? Ep #022 Dirty Rotten Scoundrels w Rob from Rob Makes Films and John from Future Music

Ep #022 Dirty Rotten Scoundrels w Rob from Rob Makes Films and John from Future Music

Hola! Episode 22 arrives and its Rob’s choice “one of the best 80s comedies”, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, the 1988 comedy classic from Frank Oz starring Michael Caine and Steve Martin.   Michael Caine is the distinguished English gent, who also happens to be a world class con-man, then along comes Steve Martin another con-man but a brash, American much to his annoyance - the fun really begins when they meet the charming Glenne Headly. It's easy to forget how funny Steve Martin was during the late 70s and throughout the 80s - if you’re looking for a reminder then this is a great place to start. A near perfect balance of physical comedy and witty one liners.   Scores [supsystic-tables id='23'] Dirty Rotten Scoundrels scored reasonably high at 3.8. The Twitter response was pretty favourable too. Don’t take this film too seriously - it could have starred David Bowie and Mick Jagger (!) enjoy the silliness and the genuinely enjoyable twist ending. What do you guys think? Have you seen Dirty Rotten Scoundrels? What did you think? Please let us know in the comments below! Ep #21 The Drunken Master with Martin and Sam from The Song By Song Podcast

Ep #21 The Drunken Master with Martin and Sam from The Song By Song Podcast

Not to be confused with 1994’s The Legend of the Drunken Master, this is Jackie Chan’s ‘break through’ film and largely considered to be one of finest martial arts film EVER made. Martin’s choice, chosen because he had never seen it before. Featuring all the classic Chan trademarks from the immaculately choreographed fight scenes, bonkers stunt work (no GCI, wire work or stuntmen here) and Chan’s doozy cheeky charm.   Scores [supsystic-tables id='22'] Its fair to say, it hasn’t aged well, even for super fan Sam, a re-watch wasn’t the rewarding experience he had remembered or anticipated. Poor editing and inconistant subtitles, length (nearly two hours!!) and basically what is the slimmest of passable plots overshadow the technical mastery and physical extremeness of Chan’s performance. Scoring low across all categories, not that we really expected anything else, a must for hardcore Chan obsessives and kung fu fans, it scrapes a 2.4 overall. Massive congratulations to Song by Song with their award, we recommend it for all music lovers, not just for fans of Tom Waits. *Also features an extended version of Popcorn Chat.   What do you guys think? Ep #20 ExMachina with Dave from the Cinemile and Joe from the Shitegeist Podcast

A lot of love from Flixwatcher and the guests for this film, a clever, well paced, visually intriguing modern sci fi with humour and THAT dance scene. With its Spooky parallels with Jurassic Park, there's a lot to unravel and provokes interesting debate into our relationships with technology.   Scores [supsystic-tables id='21'] Unsurprisingly this scored highly, recommendability would have been all 5s but Kobi gave it a 4!!! Ep #019 That Thing You Do with Ben from Top Film Tips and John from Future Music

Ep #019 That Thing You Do with Ben from Top Film Tips and John from Future Music

Hola! Episode #0019 welcomes back John Future Music and Ben from Top Film Tip reviewing That Thing You Do! the 1996 directorial debut from everyone’s favourite Tom. A very American musical comedy set in the swinging summer of 1964.   The film follows the one hit wonder band the Oneders or The Wonders and the meteoric rise of their hit song “That Thing You Do”!. Inoffensive, nostalgically charming, riding the wave of his 90s super stardom this is pure bankable Hanks.     Scores [supsystic-tables id='20'] Despite scoring high at 93% on Rotten Tomatoes - it was DESTROYED by Ben, with him scoring it 0 0 0 0. For the record, Ben doesn’t like The Beatles and his quote “offensively bland” would probably not make the poster. Although not universally hated, it is long - pushing two hours 20 minutes of vanilla niceness - with only Liv Tyler adding some energy to the casting. There are much better Tom Hanks films but its not THAT bad. Scoring 1.7 overall, sorry Tom but its the lowest scoring Flixwatcher film so far.   What do you guys think? Ep #018 Kingsman with Michelle from Hello and Adam from Fixer International

The sequel is out September this year and but for now in episode #0018 of Flixwatcher Podcast we review Kingman: The Secret Service with Michelle from Hello Magazine and Adam from Fixer International.   Michelle’s choice, Kingsman is the British spy action comedy from the team that brought us Kick Ass and Stardust (Matthew Vaughan and Jane Goldman). Weighting pretty heavy on the action and ultra violence Kingman relies heavily on the charisma of Colin Firth and Taron Egerton with Samuel L. Jackson taking comic book villains to a new level. You’ll never be able to listen to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Free Bird in the same way again.   Scores [supsystic-tables id='19']   Episode #018 Crew Links Thanks to the Episode #017 Crew of Michelle Johnson from Hello Magazine and Adam from Fixer International. Ep #017 Over The Top with Tom and Todd form The Bitter End

Ep #017 Over The Top with Tom and Todd form The Bitter End

In Episode #0017 the delightful Tom and Todd from The Bitter End return, this time for the review of Over the Top. THIS FILM IS ABOUT ARM WRESTLING. Still with us? WHY?? Okay, this film is the 1987 film from Sly Stallone about arm wrestling. Yes it is. And trucks. Thats about it though. Why did Tom pick this? Even Tom doesn’t know why. There is some nostalgia aspect to this and there will be SOMEONE out there who needs to see this. But they will be in the minority. Are you the someone?     If you watched this - AND enjoyed it PLEASE let us know your thoughts. Its not Rocky, its not even Copland or Stop Or My Mum Will Shoot. Ep #016 Under The Skin with Will and Joe from Exploding Helicopter

Ep #016 Under The Skin with Will and Joe from Exploding Helicopter

In episode #0016 we review Under the Skin with Will and Joe from Exploding Helicopter website and podcast. SPOILER. There are NO exploding helicopters in Under the Skin. This is the 2013 film from Jonathan Glazer featuring Scarlett Johansson as an alien scouring the streets of Glasgow for unsuspecting prey.   Chosen by Will as a second or third-time watcher - and not for the faint hearted casual viewer - Under the Skin blends arthouse and mainstream in a unique and challenging way. Lacking in dialogue, largely improvised without a clear linear narrative this film isn’t an easy watch, as our reviews reveal though there is a lot of beauty and nuanced intention. A minimal and stripped down role, Scarlett Johansson compels expectations and pushes the boundaries of mainstream performances.   Does she learn humanity? Is it a feminist film? What happens in diesel sex dungeon? The scene with the baby? Aren’t you glad Brad Pitt never got involved? So many questions but what are your answers? If you agree its not style over substance and can get beyond the room of goo - please share with us your thoughts and opinions of this film. Ep #015 Sharknado 3 with Rachel and Simon from Level Up Human Final

Halfway to 30, its Episode #015 and we welcome back Rachel and Simon from Level Up Human for Rachel’s choice the unlikeliest natural disaster Sharknado 3. "Oh Hell No." Thats right, the THIRD, in the Sharknado series. What is the premise you might ask, do you really care, its called Sharknado. Sharknado 3. Shark advocate Simon genuinely loved it, but wouldn’t describe as ‘good’. Kobi had concerns about the possibly of an actual sharknado. Helen was not impressed not even with the David Hasselhoff cameo. Sadly it doesn’t pass the Bechdel test. Preposterous only begins to scratch the surface, if you love chainsaws, extreme product placement and frilled sharks this is the movie for you. It doesn’t score highly, are you surprised? Its about a sharknado. We chat about Matthew's choice of film the delightful "What We Do In The Shadows"     What we do in the Shadows, here after referred to as "WWDITS" is a magical comedy that is carved out of 120hrs worth of filming. 120hrs, incidentally, is the average length of a Judd Apatow film. WWDITS is dually directed by Jemaine Clement of "Flight of the Conchords" fame and Taika Waititi, soon to be of "Thor: Ragnorok". The mockumentary follows the story of 4 vampires who "Flat" together in Wellington, New Zealand and their hum drum life as they prepare for the big event in the calendar, The Masquerade Ball. Both directors wrote and star in this as well as Conchords alumnus Rhys Darby and a new crop of funny Kiwis, including the guys that play knitting vampire "Deacon" and Nick and Stu.     Scores [supsystic-tables id='14'] WWDITS is currently our highest scoring film with a smashing 4.7 out of 5 given that it's easy to watch and re-watch, funny, great for a small screen and 85mins! Ep #013 The Lobster w/ The Family Tree

We welcome back Jen and Dave from The Family Tree podcast for Episode #013 this time it's Jen's choice and she picked Yorgos Lanthimos' 2015 dystopian "romantic comedy" The Lobster. Treading a thin line between tragedy and comedy with its moments of absurdity and bleak violence The Lobster is the most requested film choice by our guests - for us this was a welcome re-watch. Featuring a stellar cast including, Rachel Weisz, Olivia Colman, Lea Seydoux, John C. Reilly and Ben Whishaw (!) and a career best from the often patchy Colin Farrell The Lobster can be viewed as a film of two parts (a perfect opportunity for the important tea break!) Ep #012 Jet Li's The One w/ How To Write A Tune

Ep #012 Jet Li's The One w/ How To Write A Tune

Episode #012 sees Tony and Jay from How to Write a Tune and GL Productions returning this time for Tony's choice Jet Li's The One.   Released in 2001 and riding on the success of The Matrix this time travelling, CGI heavy, martial arts film sees (bad) Jet Li in an universe where there are 124 different Jet Li’s that must be defeated so he can absorb their powers and become 'The One', one of them is (good) Jet Li who has the power to stop this and become 'The One' With a plot holier than a crumpet this favourite from Tony’s youth also features Jason Statham’s now thankfully redundant American accent, the ultimate nu metal soundtrack (Linkin Park, Papa Roach) and a rat bomb. Yes thats a RAT BOMB. Its a film that poses more questions than answers - why does Delroy Lindo always play a detective? Why are the 124 different universes? Could a rodent of that size really generate that kind of explosion? Scores [supsystic-tables id='13'] Totally ridiculous and neither an example of good CGI or martial arts this James Wong film (we loved The X-Files and Final Destination) somehow managed to scrape 2.5 overall from the Flixwatcher hosts and guests - with Jay scoring it higher than Tony. ONE for Jet Li completists only. What do you guys think? Have you seen Jet Li's "The One"? What did you think? Please let us know in the comments below! Ep #011 - Woman in Black w/ Felix and Tom from Wooden Overcoats

Ep #011 - Woman in Black w/ Felix and Tom from Wooden Overcoats

Episode #011 of Flixwatcher podcast sees Felix Trench and Tom Crowley from Wooden Overcoats (the rival funeral director podcom) return, this time to discuss the 2012 Daniel Radcliffe film The Woman in Black.Recommended to Felix by gothic horror fan and Wooden Coats creator David, Felix and Tom watched this together over croissants - what are your favourite Netflix watching foods? The Woman in Black is a film, based a stage play (the second longest running after The Mousetrap trivia fans) that is based on a horror novella by Susan Hill. This film version is the second film adaption with this version written by Jane Goldman. Naturally, for a film based on a book or a stage play, there is going to be similarities, the attention to detail in the sets was noted and admired (lovely woodwork) and relies on old-fashioned noises for scares and jumps. We discuss the evolution of Daniel Radcliffe post Harry Potter and enthusing about gothic horror films we really love (Crimson Peak, The Devils Backbone, The Haunting). Overall it scored a low 2.4, while it's not especially a bad film neither the hosts or the guests felt it compared with other modern horror films. While unlikely to scare, it succeeds in being a bit creepy. Watch it with a friend for that mini scream experience, maybe with some croissants. Episode #011 Scores [supsystic-tables id='12'] The Episode #001 crew rated this highly with a 4.2/ 5 so a pretty high standard to right off the bat here at Flixwatcher. Episode #010 ARQ w/ The Cinemile and Shitegeist

Episode #010 ARQ w/ The Cinemile and Shitegeist

Set in a dystopian future (never, never utopian!) where there are no apples and only the bad guys have shoes, Renton (no not that Renton) a well groomed engineer/underwear model is stuck in a Groundhog Dog style loop which has something (or nothing) in connection with a mysterious energy source. Neither taut nor thrilling this sci-fi misfire had some interesting ideas but was let down by the cheap sets, unconvincing acting, incoherent plot and unintentional moments of comedy. Despite its short running time of 89 minute the film was a bit of a slog for all to watch and reminded everyone of much better time looping films than this (Groundhog Day, Source Code, Edge of Tomorrow). There was so, so much love for the far superior Edge of Tomorrow from everyone, maybe watch that instead (crosses fingers Netflix will have it soon...) Scores [supsystic-tables id='11'] Arq scored 1.9 overall and this was largely due to the fact that we all agreed it will look and experience would be a lot better in the cinema. It, therefore, scored low on the on the small screen score.   What do you guys think? Have you seen ARQ? What did you think? Please let us know in the comments below! Ep #009 Pulp Fiction with w/ Dave from Fortitude Magazine and Josh from Footballistically Arsenal

In episode #009 of Flixwatcher podcast guests Dave from Fortitude Magazine and Josh from Footbalistically Arsenal return, this time to discuss the Quentin Tarantino modern masterpiece Pulp Fiction.   Unbelievably there are people in the world that haven't seen Pulp Fiction! Dave hadn't, so it was his choice and we thank him for it. Tarantino's Palme d'Or winning second film made in 1994 famed for its groundbreaking non-linear narrative, the bromance between Samuel L Jackson and dazzling script impressed the first-time watcher Dave and was a more than welcome re-watch for Josh, Helen and Kobi. With so many great moments there was much to discuss, the watch, the $5 milkshake, the star-studded cameos, that soundtrack and what is in that briefcase? No one was more happy to revisit this postmodern 90s classic than Helen who praised Tarantino for his strong female characters and the timeless quality of the film. Scores Despite quibbles on our unique scoring system (recommendability is a word?!), watching it on his 47" TV Dave scored Pulp Fiction highly on its repeat viewing, apparently, you have to keep watching until you die to fully understand it all. Kobi lists it as being in his Top 5 Films (we'll be keeping an eye out for other entries) and we all recommend it. If you haven't seen Pulp Fiction - stop reading this and go watch it, now! Go, go, go...! Please do come back and listen to this episode though!   Episode #009 Crew Links Thanks to the Episode #009 Crew Dave Hudson (@IamDaveHudson) of Fortitude Magazine and Josh Landy (Footballistically Arsenal, Play With a Legend and Bake with a Legend Please make sure you give them some love Flixwatcher Spotify Playlist The question is what song NOT to include on the Spotify playlist. Ep #008 - Advantageous w/ Level Up Human

Ep #008 - Advantageous w/ Level Up Human

Episode #008 sees Simon from Level Up Human choose the 2015 science fiction film Advantageous. A self-proclaimed sci-fi snob, Simon choose this as it was the most science fiction film he could find on Netflix ...and because he liked the cover image!     Set in a bleak, near-future, urban environment, where we communicate with bots via holographic Skype calls and women are 'completely shelved' after a certain age, the film's protagonist is forced into undergoing an experimental full body swap. It's a future with no animals, not much fun for kids and shopping for her new body is like being on Tinder. Ultimately the film suffers from what Simon calls the 'prototype problem'. Also noted was it's shoddy sci-fi and being inferior to Black Mirror. Despite scoring a relatively low 2.3 (Kobi would recommend Transformers 3 ahead of this!!) and really REALLY annoying Rachel it gave for a surprisingly in-depth discussion and debate on memory, ethics of body swaps, personality and cloning. "Believably bland" a Hollywood remake is calling.... Ep #007 - The Little Prince w/ The Family Tree Podcast

Ep #007 - The Little Prince w/ The Family Tree Podcast

Happy New Year Flixwatcher fans! We hope you had a fantastically festive film based Christmas and caught up on our previously reviewed films - if you did let us know your Flixwatcher scores by Tweeting us @Flixwatcherpod Our first podcast for you in 2017 is Ep #007 with Dave and Jen from The Family Tree - The Little Prince Netflix Original animation, the choice of Dave. A personal project from director Mark Osborne (Kung Fu Panda & Spongebob SquarePants) to animate the classic novella written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (French aristocrat, writer, poet, and pioneering aviator) in 1943, was also a personal choice from Dave. Remembering it from his childhood as an audiotape and now intrigued to find out how the story translates into this 2015 animation. A film that could be broken up into three parts, the Flixwatcher team and Dave and Jen agreed unanimously that it was gorgeously animated but lacked coherence. There was plenty of discussion on kids films - why we categorise most animation as children's entertainment - the unnecessary need for endless sequels and of course the beast that is Pixar! More importantly for Dave and Jen - the ability to be able to have a tea break in the middle of a film session! Overall The Little Prince comes out as a solid 3 - we admired its ambitions and adored Jeff Bridges Aviator but its pace and third part let it down. Not up there with the high scores of the other Netflix Originals we've reviewed (Knox, Beasts of No Nation) but still worth a watch.   Scores [supsystic-tables id='8'] Overall The Little Prince comes out as a solid 3 - we admired its ambitions and adored Jeff Bridges Aviator but its pace and third part let it down. Ep #006 - Beasts of No Nation w/ Top Film Tip and Future Music

Ep #006 - Beasts of No Nation w/ Top Film Tip and Future Music

Episode 6 sees the Flixwatcher team and guests Ben (Top Film Tip) and John (Future Music) reviewing the 2015 Netflix Original Beasts of No Nation. Ben's choice, described in Top Film Tip style "Orphaned African boy is swallowed into the quagmire of #IdrisElba's monstrous child army in crushing spellbinder #BEASTSOFNONATION"  For us first-time watchers the experience was brutal, enchanting, often funny and utterly compelling. The episode #006 crew discussed the how astonishingly well made and at times beautiful the film was, whilst having the backdrop of the unimaginable violence and loss of childhood. Kudos to Idris Elba's remarkable performance as The Commandant, the flawed anti-hero, playing against type and adding depth to a character that could have been reduced to a stereotype. Child actors Abraham Attah (Agu) and Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye (Strika) gave compelling and assertive performances as the two boys who forge friendship and companionship against the bleakest of outlooks. Despite it being a brutal watch - you have been warned - it is a remarkable piece of filmmaking and in a rare Flixwatcher moment everyone is in universal agreement. With caveats.   Scores [supsystic-tables id='7'] The overall Flixwatcher Rating for "Beasts of No Nation" was a very healthy 4.2! It was uniformly high with 5's across the board in "Recommendability Score" and "Engagement Score" brackets and lowest in the "Repeat Viewing Score". We all agreed that we would want to watch it again... just not soon. That's no slight against the film, more a testament to the tough storyline. Ep #005 - From Beyond w/ Todd and Tom from The Bitter End

Ep #005 - From Beyond w/ Todd and Tom from The Bitter End

Todd from "The Bitter End" chose the 80's Body Horror Classic "From Beyond" for Episode 5 of the Flixwatcher Podcast!   Todd is a big horror fan and first watched From Beyond as a young boy on VHS and it has stuck with him since then. The episode 005 crew were divided between horror and (Todd and Helen) non-horror (Tom and Kobi) fans so it would be interesting to see what they made of it.   The split was actually quite interesting in that the Bitter End guys both looked favourably on From Beyond. In particular, Todd managed to eek out some more points based on his enthusiasm and allegorical theories behind the film. This was a really interesting choice for a Flixwatcher episode so early on in our run and goes to highlight the depth and variety of choices on the Netflix platform. Scores [supsystic-tables id='6'] The overall Flixwatcher Rating for From Beyond is a surprising  3.3! This was not expected going into the recording session but goes to show the courage in Todd's conviction. From Beyond scored highest in the "Engagement Score" bracket and lowest in the repeat viewing score. Once may be enough! What do you guys think? Have you seen From Beyond? What did you think? Ep #004 - The Talented Mr Ripley w/ Jay and Tony from How to Write a Tune

It was Jay from "How to Write a Tune" chose the film for Episode 4 of the Flixwatcher Podcast! Podcast! He claimed it would be the "Artsy Fartsy" choice and appeal to the true cinephile in him. It was noted as being beautiful and creepy and noted for being a film of essentially being two distinct parts; lovely bits at the start and then the part where it started to go dark and creepy! The episode #004 crew had a lot of time for "The Talented Mr Ripley", letting Beth how beautiful the film looks as well as the interesting character study helmed by Damon is he spirals into aware of homicidal mania! It was really interesting to go back and review a younger Matt Damon together with Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow and Cate Blanchett. This was pre-Jason Bourne Matt Damon and it showed in his physicality. It was also a really great to see Philip Seymour-Hoffman in the guise of Freddie who would ultimately starts to untangle Tom Ripleys web of deceit. Scores The overall Flixwatcher Rating for The Talented Mr Ripley is a strudy 3.9. It was  surprising to see it saw five across-the-board for recommendability score. Ep #001 - Pirates! An Adventure with Scientists with Tom and Felix of Wooden Overcoats In our first episode, we chat about Pirates! An Adventure with Scientists/ A Band of Misfits (depending on where in the world you live) as chosen by Tom of Wooden Overcoats! Ep #000 Welcome to FlixWatcher

Ep #000 Welcome to FlixWatcher

Flixwatcher is a film podcast based around films on Netflix. Flixwatcher is hosted by Helen Sadler and Kobi Omenaka. Every episode discusses and rates a film from Netflix as chosen by special guests from other podcasts using the unique Flixwatcher scoring system.  We tackle classic films including Woody Allen's "Manhattan" and "Pulp Fiction" , Netflix Originals such as "Amanda Knox" and "Beasts of No Nation" through to bargain bin b-movies. The choice of the films is given wholly to the podcaster guests and team Flixwatcher have no say in the matter! Tune in every week to get Netflix film recommendations and rejections with spoilers guaranteed! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
