Building a Community of Faith-Centered Entrepreneurs
Building a Community of Faith-Centered EntrepreneursIn the journey of entrepreneurship, isolation can be one of the biggest challenges. The pressures of running a business, making tough decisions, and dealing with setbacks can often make you feel like you’re on your own. However, as a faith-driven entrepreneur, you are never truly alone. Building a community of like-minded, faith-centered entrepreneurs can provide the support, encouragement, and inspiration you need to thrive.A community of faith-centered entrepreneurs is more than just a network; it’s a fellowship of believers who share a common purpose and vision. It’s a place where you can share your successes and challenges, knowing that you will be met with understanding and compassion. This kind of community offers a safe space for you to be vulnerable, to seek advice, and to find strength in the collective wisdom of others who are also walking the path of faith-driven entrepreneurship. One of the key benefits of being part of such a community is the opportunity for collaboration. When entrepreneurs come together with a shared faith and purpose, amazing things can happen. You can learn from each other’s experiences, share resources, and even partner on projects that align with your common goals. Collaboration within a faith-centered community can lead to innovation, growth, and a greater impact in the world.Another important aspect of this community is accountability. As faith-driven entrepreneurs, we are called to a higher standard in our business practices. Being part of a community that holds each other accountable to those standards can help you stay true to your values, even when it’s difficult. It’s a reminder that you are not just running a business for yourself, but for God’s glory. Finally, a faith-centered community offers spiritual support. When you’re facing tough decisions or going through a challenging time, knowing that others are praying for you and with you can provide immense comfort and strength. This spiritual support is a powerful reminder that God is at the center of your business, and that you are part of something much bigger than yourself.Building a community of faith-centered entrepreneurs is not just beneficial; it’s essential. It provides the support, collaboration, and spiritual nourishment that every faith-driven entrepreneur needs to succeed in business and in life. You don’t have to walk the entrepreneurial path alone. Overcoming Business Challenges with Spiritual Resilience
Overcoming Business Challenges with Spiritual ResilienceEvery entrepreneur faces challenges—whether it’s a financial setback, a difficult decision, or a crisis that shakes the very foundation of their business. For a faith-driven entrepreneur, these challenges are not just obstacles to be overcome; they are opportunities to grow in spiritual resilience.Spiritual resilience is the ability to remain steadfast in your faith and purpose, even when the road gets tough. It’s about trusting in God’s plan and relying on His strength, rather than your own, to navigate through difficult times. This kind of resilience is not just about bouncing back; it’s about growing stronger, wiser, and more grounded in your faith. One of the first steps in building spiritual resilience is to recognize that challenges are a natural part of the entrepreneurial journey. Instead of fearing them, embrace them as opportunities for growth. Each challenge you face is a chance to deepen your trust in God and to see His hand at work in your business.Prayer is a powerful tool for cultivating spiritual resilience. When faced with a challenge, turn to God in prayer, seeking His guidance and peace. Let Him carry the burden with you, and trust that He will provide the solutions you need, even if they are not immediately apparent. Remember, God’s timing is perfect, and sometimes the greatest breakthroughs come when we least expect them.Another important aspect of spiritual resilience is community. Surround yourself with other faith-driven entrepreneurs who can offer support, encouragement, and wisdom. There is strength in numbers, and knowing that others have faced similar challenges and come out stronger can be incredibly reassuring. Finally, maintain a perspective of gratitude. Even in the midst of challenges, there are always blessings to be found. By focusing on what you have rather than what you lack, you can keep a positive outlook and stay motivated to keep moving forward.Challenges are inevitable in business, but with spiritual resilience, you can face them with confidence and faith. Remember, God is with you every step of the way, and with His help, you can overcome any obstacle and emerge stronger than ever.Overcome challenges with spiritual resilience by leaning on faith and community. Sharpening the Spear – Richard Walsh
Sharpening the Spear - Richard WalshOur guest today specializes in helping other entrepreneurs find those “immediate, problem solving results” and to build a strategic, long term implementation plan of systemization and scalability. Amen! Richard Walsh of “Sharpen the Spear Coaching” is here today to help us understand how to accomplish this. His program of growth focuses on something he calls, “Time Compression.” Using this information, Richard says he can save you almost 10 years of struggle and costly mistakes. Amen!Richard is also the author of the book, “Escape from the Owner Prison – The Contractors New Way to Scale, Regan Control and Fast Track Growth While Loving Life!” Amen! That sounds like something we all need… Praise God!You help people in starting their businesses. How often does someone come to you with, what they think, is a great idea…but they actually have no plan for success? How are you able to help them?It is not just having a “great idea” – but a way to deliver the product or services; a way to follow up with clients and potential clients, etc. It was not until we instituted a system into what we did that we began to see profitability. How important is systemization in what you do to help your clients? Is it important to focus on growing a business ability to scale in the future – when you are just laying the foundation to get started in the beginning? I guess the question would be – should they incorporate that ability into their start up planning? Are there some common roadblocks that almost everyone faces when starting a business?I know I suffered from this problem way back in the beginning… the feeling like “I had to do everything” myself. One issue was – I had nobody else. The second issue was – I had no money to hire anybody else. And the third issue was, I was “testing and learning” as I went – so I really had no idea of even how to ask for help - when I really did not know what I needed… Have you encountered these issues as well in helping your clients?Do these things apply to ministry or “Kingdom focused businesses?”CALLING – CHARACTER - COMPETENCYLet’s talk about your book for a minute. Why did you write this book, “Escape from the Owner Prison – The Contractors New Way to Scale, Regan Control and Fast Track Growth While Loving Life?”What will your readers learn as the go through this book? Will this information apply to other industries outside of contracting? For example, “online businesses?”Richard, this is truly interesting… where you 15 years ago when I needed this kind of help?Your book, “Escape from the Owner Prison,” how can someone obtain a copy of this book? I take it is on Amazon? If someone wanted to get in touch with you, to ask a question, obtain more information, or maybe they would like to do an interview such as this… How can they do that? How can someone get in touch with you?I’ll put links to all of this in the show notes below…Folks, you may not be starting a business, but these strategies work in ministry as well. You may not be starting or operating a ministry – but they work in whatever it is you are trying to do. Amen!I highly, highly encourage you to drop down into the show notes and reach out to Richard Walsh right now. Right now! Amen! Share this information with someone you know WHO IS starting a business. Help

How to Share Your Faith in the Workplace pt 5
Trusting God for Provision and SuccessIn the fast-paced, goal-oriented world of work, it's easy to fall into the trap of anxiety and self-reliance. However, Jesus' words in Matthew 6:31-33 remind us to trust in God's provision: "So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."Trusting God means believing that He cares about every aspect of our lives, including our careers.By placing our trust in God, we alleviate the stress and pressure that often accompany professional pursuits. Maintaining and living your faith in the workplace involves trusting God for provision and success. Loving Others and Building RelationshipsJesus commanded His followers to love one another, stating in John 13:34-35, "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." This principle is crucial for fostering positive relationships in the workplace.Love in the workplace means showing kindness, respect, and compassion to everyone, regardless of their position or behavior. It's about actively listening, offering support, and celebrating others' successes. By prioritizing relationships over transactions, we create a more harmonious and collaborative environment.Building strong relationships at work enhances teamwork and productivity. When people feel genuinely cared for, they are more likely to go the extra mile and contribute positively to the team's goals. Servant LeadershipJesus set a revolutionary example of leadership, not by dominating others but by serving them. Mark 10:45 captures this beautifully: "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." This model of servant leadership is both inspiring and challenging for Christians in the workplace.Servant leadership involves prioritizing the needs of others, empowering them, and helping them grow. It's about putting the well-being of employees, colleagues, and clients above personal ambitions. This approach fosters loyalty and high morale, as people feel valued and supported.Maintaining and living your faith in the workplace involves embracing the model of servant leadership. By prioritizing the needs of others and fostering a supportive environment, you reflect Christ's example and cultivate a loyal, motivated team. For more strategies on becoming a servant leader, visit our training platform for Christian podcasters and entrepreneurs at FaithCasterAcademy.com. Integrity and HonestyIn a world where cutting corners and bending the truth can seem like the quickest paths to success, Proverbs 11:1 offers a countercultural viewpoint: "The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him." Maintaining and living your faith in the workplace requires a steadfast commitment to integrity and honesty. Creationism Disproves Evolution – Dr. Kent Hovind
Creationism Disproves Evolution Dr. Kent Hovind Dr. Kent Hovind has been preaching the Gospel for over 50 years as a pastor and evangelist and has had over 350 debates against atheists. He is the founder the “Dinosaur Adventure Land” in Lennox, Alabama. I’ve been looking forward to our discussion today… for those that have followed me, you know that I love sharing information with you on these topics of disproving the stuff being taught today about the earth being billions upon billions of years old. I believe exactly what the Bible says and I believe the earth and everything else was formed exactly as the Bible says…and we have had other experts on in the past that provided insights in this area that backs up that proof. Amen! With that being said, help me welcome to the program, Dr. Kent Hovind! Dr. Kent, thank you for taking the time to join us today! First question I always start with is this… other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Dr. Kent Hovind?” How did you get involved with debating those who oppose the Creationist point of view from the Bible? How did you get started with the “Dinosaur Adventure Land?” What do you believe is the most compelling evidence for the Creation Theory? I interviewed an archeologist who is also a geologist several years back. He brought up an excellent contradiction to the evolutionary theorist by using something that happened in recent history – Mt. St. Helen’s eruption. He said scientists went in and took some of the trees that had been burned and covered in several dozen feet of ash… as the wind and rain eroded some of the ash, they were able to dig down a bit and find these trees. They did carbon dating on these trees…that had been alive just 7-10 years prior to this – and the carbon dating came back as something like 10,000 years old. If I remember correctly, they hypothesize that the sudden rise in the temperature coupled with immediately being buried by feet of ash and the pressure, etc… caused the erroneous readings. He has used that in his presentations of the errors in the evolutionist theory. You also did calculations on the tides of the earth and how that would also account for petrified forests, etc. prior to the flood. You also share how the Grand Canyon was formed quickly, not over millions of years as science teaches. Share that with us… One thing I love to bring up in a debate… I have not conducted formal debates like you have… I’ll rephrase that to a “discussion” is this… When man landed on the moon, what did they find? Nothing! Edwin Aldrin described it as a “magnificent desolation.” They found no life; no plants; no water; no atmosphere – nothing. Why? Because the moon was not made for man – earth was? Who made the earth? Go to Genesis 1 and find out! Praise God! Everything GOOD was created for man by God. All the other stuff, the moon, stars, comets, etc. – is lifeless because man was not supposed to go and live there… Your thoughts on that? You have guests that come to visit you on the “Dinosaur Adventure Land.” You advertise it is free for them to stay? What kind of interesting things will they see when they visit? Dr. Hovind, this so interesting and needful for the day and time we live. If someone wanted to get more information, maybe to ask a question or possibly to do an interview such as this… how can they do that? How can someone get in touch with you? You are also, as you said, able to offer all of these things at the “Dinosaur Adventure Land,”...

Work as a Form of WorshipIn the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's easy to compartmentalize our faith, reserving it for Sunday services and personal devotional times. However, Colossians 3:23-24 challenges us to see our work as an act of worship: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." This perspective transforms mundane tasks into meaningful acts of devotion. This doesn't mean our jobs are always easy or enjoyable, but it does mean they have purpose. By working "with all your heart," we demonstrate our commitment not just to our employers but to God Himself. Our work ethic can serve as a testament to our faith, potentially sparking conversations about the source of our motivation. By viewing work as worship, we align our daily activities with our spiritual values, creating a cohesive and fulfilling life. For more insights on integrating faith into your professional journey, check out our training platform for Christian podcasters and entrepreneurs at FaithCasterAcademy.com. The King’s Council – Rylee Meek
The King’s Council – Rylee MeekMany churches and ministries are struggling to survive since the pandemic – when EVERYTHING was shutdown… but the expenses continued. Amen. Many business owners experienced the same thing and have struggled to adapt and survive as well.It is not unusual for ministries, churches and entrepreneurs to look for ways to save money AND still be a blessing as much as possible as we go about doing Kingdom business. Amen?If you are a Christian entrepreneur seeking to grow your business without compromising your faith; or you strive to keep your Sunday spirit alive from Monday to Saturday, in boardrooms and business meetings or you have a dream to build something meaningful, create a legacy, and you dream of making a difference in the world…If that sounds like you or thoughts you may have had, you will want to pay attention to the episode today. Our guest is going to shine a light that will be a blessing to everyone listening right now. Amen!Rylee Meek is the founder of “The King’s Council Community” and teaches on “Christian Entrepreneurship” and the “Kingdom Economy.” He is a successful businessman who has earned 7-8 figures in revenue for all of his 9 companies – in the first year they were in business. Praise God!The “King’s Council” mission is to start and scale businesses for the ultimate goal of GIVING and ADVANCING the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. Amen.Rylee is the author of a 3-book series called, appropriately, “The Kingdom Entrepreneur,” with 2 of the 3 books already published and his the host of “The King’s Council Podcast.” Amen!Help me welcome to the program, Rylee Meek! Rylee, thank you for taking the time to join us today! I’ve been looking forward to this conversation!First question I always start with is this… other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Rylee Meek?”You formed “The King’s Council” back in 2020 – just before the pandemic. What role did your organization serve during that trying time for many churches that, literally, shut their doors during that time?I saw the statistics on your website that the “average Christian” only tithes 2.5%. Those are the “tithers.” Which means the “givers” are actually less? Is that right?Your focus is on helping “Kingdom Entrepreneurs.” How do you help them and what will they accomplish with your help?In this economy we are living in today, many people worry about being able to provide for their family, etc. Some tell themselves, “Somebody else will have to tithe, I need the money for our light bill.” But yet, the Bible is clear that we need to take care of the “House of God” and then God will take care of “our house.” Correct? One of the programs you have is the “PROvision Processing.” Can you share about that, how it works and what it does?Does the “PROvision Processing” work with online platforms or is it only like “in store” terminals, etc.?Tell us about your podcast, “The King’s Council Podcast.” How long have you been podcasting?Tell us about your “King’s Council App.” What will someone find if they download the app?You recently held an event called, “Become the CEO of Your Life.” Share about that event and what transpired…You also have line of clothing apparel. Self-Publishing Made Easy – Michele DeFilippo
Self-Publishing Made Easy Michele DeFilippoHow many of you have traversed the unfriendly seas of self-publishing a book? I know I have. Being a published author is awesome! It gives you authority, credibility, etc. It can also give you some extra income, and in some cases – great income! But it can also become a nightmare…Book publishing used to be simple, but not anymore. Authors browsing the internet are unaware that a publisher is unnecessary and that hiring one can significantly reduce their income from book sales. Too many authors become victims of unscrupulous companies that abuse their trust, and some of the worst offenders are "Christian" publishing companies that deliberately target people of faith. Just remember the warning Jesus gave us, “Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing.” Amen! That is the reason for our interview today with a woman who is out to change that narrative and actually HELP authors – Christian authors – to navigate those dangerous seas and arrive safely at the ultimate destination of having your own book, self-published, and maximize your earnings potential at the same time. Michele DeFilippo is the owner of 1106 Design where she offers "assisted self-publishing." This service provides aspiring authors with the necessary services to create quality books and distribute them directly, without a publisher, to earn more money. Folks, this is not a new idea. It's what indie publishing was meant to be before the message was buried in misinformation. 1106 Design is a one-stop source that has produced over four thousand books since 2001 and earned an outstanding industry reputation. With over 50 years of personal experience in publishing, Michele can highlight questions authors may not ask as they evaluate providers online.Help me welcome to the program, Michele DeFilippo! Michele, thank you taking the time to join us today and talk about this important topic! First question I always start with is this… other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Michele DeFilippo? What does the “1106” stand for? You’ve been doing this kind of work a long time. How has publishing changed over the years? When I published my “Marriage Ceremony Handbook” eight or more years ago, I searched on Google, etc. and was just overwhelmed at the number of self-publishing companies available back then… it must be even worse today, correct?Your company kind of “fills the gap” between independent publishing and full service publishers, correct? You use an example of Print on Demand and Self-Publishing – that references needing a medical procedure done and going to the library and checking out medical text book… can you share that example with us? Can you share with us a little bit about the process you take prospective clients through when they work with you? What is the number one mistake you see new authors make when it comes to getting their book published? What about editing? Gane Wisdom By Chrysalis – Guy Gane
Gane Wisdom By Chrysalis Guy Gane Each one of us, everyone listening to my voice right now, has a calling by God for their life. Whether you listen to and obey that calling is your choice. Whether you align your life with God’s plans and everything works out for our good – or you run the other way and experience the consequences – we are always growing. Amen! Our guest today had it all. He was a successful businessman. He had a good income, great family and was living the lifestyle most wanted to aspire to. But then… I’ll leave it there and allow him to share the “but then” story. During the “but then” aspect of his life, he dove deeper into this relationship with God. And soon found this time of his life was a time of change. A time of transformation. A time to become what God wanted him to be all along. Amen! Guy Gane is our guest today and his story will, I believe, “transform” someone listening to us today. He is the author of a great book titled, “Chrysalis: Awakening to God's Path, Protection and Power in Your Life.” Through this book, Guy Gane hopes to empower you and others, through the work of the Holy Spirit so you will find the Truth yourself that “With God – ALL Things are Possible.” Amen! Help me welcome to the program, Guy Gane. Guy, it is a blessing to have you on the program today. I have been looking forward to this interview for some time. Praise God! First question I always start with is this… and I would like you to share your story as part of answering this question, as I believe it will help our listeners understand how your experience has brought you to this point in your life. Can you share with us, “Who is Guy Gane?” You faced something that most people cannot even relate to. When you are speaking to an audience, or to your those reading your book, how do you bring your audience to the point of understanding the adversity they have experienced in their life as something that God may have meant for good?I can attest to something similar. I’ve shared this with our audience before so I won’t go into all the details again. But from the time I was 14 or 15 years old, all I wanted to do was make the military my career. I went to Basic Training just 10 days after graduation and had a great career. I had worked my way through the enlisted ranks and then decided to become an officer. Three years after commissioning, the Army decided they had “too many officers.” I was called into our commanders office and was told Department of the Army had terminate my commission and I was to start out processing. No back up plan. No time to plan for what I was going to do… just two weeks to “out process” my dream career. I struggled for over ten years just to be able to share what I did with you right now. It was that impactful on me, personally. Which also impacted my family, etc. At one point I was going to commit suicide as well. And it was a direct intervention by God which saved me. I’ve gone into the details before, so I won’t do it now. But I can relate to what you shared…How did all of this impact your family as we were going through the investigation, the trial and then the prison sentence? Why did you write this book, “Chrysalis: Awakening to God's Path, Protection and Power in Your Life?” Why did you choose the word, “Chrysalis?” and explain what that word means…Who is the intended audience for this book? I believe everyone will receive insight and understanding from the book, but who did you have in mind when you wrote <a href="https://amzn.to/4a13jy5"...

The Number One Thing to Do on InterviewsMAKE THE HOST LOOK GOOD for having YOU come on the program! When you do this - and not focus on how many followers, contacts or sales you will receive... The host will appreciate it... the host will see you are blessing their followers... and will do all he or she can to promote YOUR interview! You Are What You Think
Every action starts with a thought. From how early we wake up every morning to how late we go to bed every night; to how much effort we choose to invest in our relationships, in our business ideas, and other responsibilities. From how happy we choose to be to how we let circumstances change our mood. Basically, our thoughts make us who we are. It goes without saying then that even our success can be driven by our thoughts. Some of the ways through which abundant thoughts of action lead to an abundant life could be: 1. Rejection or being abandoned is part of life’s game2. Every step counts, small or big3. Clear Thinking4. YOU are the one in control5. Motivation and Resilience6. Business Ownership Simplified for Success – Michael Morrison
Business Ownership Simplified for Success Michael MorrisonFor many of us, what started off as a great idea has become a nightmare of sorts. Being your own boss. Setting your own hours. Not having to answer to anyone?Isn’t that how it all starts? At first it’s fine. Even fun. But, with growth, comes the problems. I know. I’ve run into that with the ministry? When we first started, I could set the entire week on the radio station in about four hours on a Sunday afternoon. Two years later, it had become a full time job. Four years into this, I was working 15 and 16 hour days, usually 7 days a week. And that was just to keep up. I was ready to throw in the towel. But, long story short, I started to hire some help. It allowed me to take as step back from having to do EVERYTHING – to now, passing off the routine tasks to others. That’s just one quick example of what our guest today is helping many people to do. Michael Morrison is a business coach, podcast host and for 20 years, a business owner. He now focuses on helping business owners to create a business that will run without the constant handling and day to presence of the owner. Does that sound like a dream come true for some of you listening right now?His business is called, “Business Ownership Simplified for Success” – or BOSS for short! He is also the host of the “Small Business Pivots Podcast” and is the author of a great guide titled, “DO NOT Start or Run a Business, My Way! Business and Life Lessons I Learned the Hard Way!”Help me welcome to the program, Michael Morrison! Michael it is a blessing to have you with us today!First question I always start with is this. Other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Michael Morrison?Your business, BOSS, or “Business Ownership Simplified for Success” sounds interesting to me – as you heard in my opening. This thing grew so quickly, it was not simplified in any way at all. The “Business” and the “Ownership” and the “Success” were happening – but the “Simplified” was nowhere to be found!Do many of your clients come to you with the same situation?Your tag line is “Create a Business that runs without you.” That is an intriguing goal. How do you help your clients to achieve that dream? On your website, I seen where you help to connect business owners with business loans and things like that. Are you the facilitator of the loans or just offering referrals, etc.?Share with us about your book: “DO NOT Start or Run a Business, My Way! Business and Life Lessons I Learned the Hard Way!”What is the number ONE thing you recommend a small business owner should do FIRST – before they actually OPEN a business? You host in person networking events in the Oklahoma City area, correct? I want to ask you about your podcast, “Small Business Pivots Podcast.”How long have you been podcasting?Share with us about your podcast and what the listeners will learn…Michael, this sounds great. If someone wanted to receive more information, ask a question or maybe invite you to do an interview such as this, how can they do that? How can someone get in touch with you?I’ll put links to all of this in the show notes below.Folks, if anything we talked about today resonates with you, the Lord had you listen to this episode today

What was the need you identified that was not being fulfilled? You share that you help folks to see real results from their efforts. Can you explain how you go about doing this with your clients? For some entrepreneurs, we are so entrenched in the day to day operations, it can be difficult to take a step back and evaluate everything in perspective. How do you recommend a business owner do this effectively? You share that one way to build a better business is to invest in their people first. Building their people to build their business. Can you explain that for us?I’m a firm believer in the TEAM training concept. I’ve spoken on it conferences, etc. How do you go about improving how teams interact, learn and, basically, grow together? How do you help your clients establish challenging, but achievable goals that will grow their business? Many times, entrepreneurs will be “all in” as far as running the business. Often, this means taking from family time, forgoing vacations and things like that. The thought process is, “If it needs to be done – I need to get it done.” How can you help your clients overcome this syndrome?Mathew, this has been so interesting and informative. If someone has a question or they would like to reach out to you for more information, how can they do that? How can someone get in touch with you?I’ll put links to all of this in the show notes below.Folks, if you own or run a business, it is so important for you to have clarity. Clarity on who you are, why your business exists and why you need a strategy to grow your business. You need to look at this from a place of your clients “wants” – not just their needs.Matthew Sanjari will work with you to evaluate, plan, develop and then execute and implement these things to actually take your business to the next level. He does this in a unique way that will truly resonate with your clients, your employees and, more importantly, your bottom line! Amen!Drop down into the show notes and reach out to Matthey Sanjari right now, while you are thinking about this. Just get...
