There's no way we can go three hours plus three times in a row, right? Wrong.  Matt and Doug go face down into the crotch of the Zemeckis film Romancing the Stone. Do we see Michael Douglas get cancer in real time? Plus a question that isn't easy to answer and we find out what the Christmas movie is.

They're back!  The dynamic duo return in a sequel that may or may not live up to the high bar of the original.   Matt and Doug dig into the weird plot based on later revelations about one of the stars amongst other things. Decent podcast that once again crests the three hour mark.

Swayze is back with a steel plate in his head.  Rob Lowe makes his first appearance on the podcast.  A man so attractive he is still super popular despite creating child porn shortly after this movie was made. How was the movie?  Was the hockey realistic?  Apparently there is lots and lots of hockey talk in this podcast.  Also does Matt look like the man behind the Wall of Sound? All this plus Matt and Doug apparently share a brain as they tackle Youngblood.

Listen up you fargin' corksuckers, we got a movie to talk about here.   Matt and Doug kick off Season Six with Michael Keaton and the director of Fast Times doing a comedy take on the gangster genre. I suggest you listen to it once...once There are audio issues.  Matt did what he could, but it is Doug's fault.

Michael Meyers is back and so is T-Dawg.  We walk through a great movie (no matter what any of the hosts say) and trudge through some other issues.

A cutoff hand.  Matt loses an insurance agent.  Doug exercises control over the podcast.  All this and much much more as we look at The Hand.  The penultimate season 5 episode.

How many bad impressions can you stand?  Sarah...  The Dead Zone presented unique challenges that we may or may not have successfully navigated.

Drug use, dick broom's and high class hookers.  What else could you want out of a podcast...or a movie.  Matt and Doug see if Burt Reynolds can direct his way out of a paper bag as they look at Sharky's Machine. A couple of good scenes.  A mea culpa about last week.  A different format for question of the week and Matt continues to dig down.

The Mercury 7 did, but do the KM 2 have it?  The right stuff, that is.  Matt and Doug talk about the movie along with Doug's refusal to open his wallet and Matt bitches about how much work the podcast is. Four hours.  You deserve a fucking medal if you listen to this podcast.  Not from Matt, but from Doug.  Fuck Doug.

No Doug?  No problem.  Matt and a special guest discuss several franchises and which ones are better than others.

Little People.  Monty Python.  James Bond.  British accents.  It's got a little of everything, but does that little of everything add up to something good?  Listen and find out.  Doug has network issues and Matt tries to cover.  How well does he do?  Eh. It's been a hot minute since we topped three hours.  Here we go. The airing of grievances.  A problematic movie.   Lots of relations to days of yore, plus a in depth question at the end as we look at a movie that doesn't look good in 2021. Also Doug's privilege shows as he doesn't know what shotgun rules are.

Not a great movie...and unfortunately not a great podcast.  Technical issues caused problems with the audio and some of it had to be recreated. Still I think there are some diamonds (not hearts) in the rough of the podcast.  Take a stroll down memory lane as Matt and Doug discuss a movie you probably never heard of, much less have seen. It is Kyle Reece's debut film IIRC.

A top five (or ten) Doug pic.  Matt watches the wrong film.  Arnold, boobies, Vader.  What more can you ask for? A new potential revenue stream opens up and Doug walks off the podcast like a bitch.

Matt and Doug's foray outside of the 80s comes to a close with the movie that was supposed to make Andrew Dice Clay a movie star...but didn't.  Will the week off between shows hurt?  Probably, but you'll have to listen to find out. One of the longest films we've done.  It is compared to certain sex acts as Matt talks about quitting the podcast and steers into the swerve. The over/under bet finally comes to an end and much much more. All as Matt and Doug discuss Excalibur.

The  over/under bet continues.  What have we learned as people?  Doug  doesn't tie intros into anything except his own life.  In a movie with a  bunch of f words, which has more, the movie or the podcast? All that and more as Matt and Doug take on Midnight Run.

Will the over under bet finally end?  Does Matt have "flow"?  Will Doug delay yet another podcast or will we be able to do this?  Will a concussed co-host cause issues?   Plus proof that Doug is an old fucker as we take on Escape From New York.

Season 5 kicks off with a movie neither Doug nor Matt had seen previously.  Will they watch it again?  Will it be good?  Will Matt stay sober?  First boobs and more shiny squirrels than you can shake a stick at.  All this and more as they look at Diner.

Classic movie.  Very quotable.  Matt and Doug take the whole fist as they talk about Fletch.   Where does the dog go during sex?  Has Matt regained hand?  All this and more on a surprisingly short podcast.

A western.  I c why you might have a problem with this podcast, but it does exist in it's own world.  Birthday wishes, the planned end of the podcast, Matt bangs a model and many other things as we take on Pale Rider. All apologies to those offended, but c, the thing is if you can c our point of view you'll understand.

Teen angst and teen pain amongst a fairly common teen sex film.  Besides potentially ruining a Journey earworm, do Matt and Doug find this little known film better or worse than its peers in the genre. Additionally the over/under bet gets stakes as Matt goes deeper into the hole. It's a hard movie to find, but I strongly suggest checking it out.

Matt and Doug try to bounce back from court ordered rehab to take on a film based on a 30 second SCTV skit. Does it hold up, eh? Find out as Matt and Doug talk about Strange Brew.

The prequel trilogy comes to a close as Anakin falls, the Sith rise, and Padme loses the will to live.  The audio is spotty for the first ten minutes, but gets better after Doug figures his crap out. Fun movie.  Wow does Matt get hammered while it happens.    Tango and Cash.  Cash and Tango. Words.

A killer sound track.  A Bond.  Boss Nass.  What else could you ask for?  Maybe a plot, professional production values, and people that can actually act.  Matt and Doug look at the movie that could have prevented the Star Wars juggernaut:  Flash Gordon.

Under two hours was an aberration, so back to over three.  A movie that really captures much of what high school was like in the 80s.  Plus Matt sings and details his experience with detentions and suspensions and Doug reveals his season four themes. Additionally we discuss what happens after the movie happens and which of the students comes out the best on the other end as we go over The Breakfast Club.
