Monday Sample Size- Broadbent 1996 Colheita Madeira
On this, the 10th episode (already) of Monday Sample Size I am joined by my "other" brother BSO, and we dive in to a very cool sample. We taste a 1996 Broadbent Madeira Colheita and it is amazing. The other big news is that full episodes have been recorded, edited, and slated for release. The first Friday in February will be the first full episode about Anthony Bourdain and Kitchen Confidential. It's been a long time coming, and it is almost here. If you like what I am doing here, follow the podcast on Spotify and give it a 5 star rating. Follow on Facebook where you can leave a review of the podcast. Follow on Instagram to see what I am drinking, reading, or listening too. You can also email me at [email protected] . Cheers

Monday Sample Size-Spiritless Kentucky 74
On this episode I am joined by Cory, as we taste Spiritless Kentucky 74. This one is unique for a couple of reasons. First, we are tasting a the store where I work instead of at the home studio, because we are also deciding on whether or not we will be bring this product in to the store. Also, it is a non-alcoholic product, a whiskey alternative. I share my thoughts on the world of non alcoholic "spirits", while giving an unfiltered review of the product. If you like what we are doing here, follow the podcast on Spotify and give it a 5 star rating. Follow The Spirits Guide on Facebook and Instagram, where you can message me as well. If you have a sample that you would like me to try, a sample of something I have for you to try, if you would like to join me for an episode, or anything else, you can email me at [email protected] . Monday Sample Size- Kings County Peated Bourbon
As we get closer and closer to posting full length episodes, we keep the Monday Sample Size theme going. On this episode I taste a very very last minute same provided to me by new friend Leo. It is the Peated Bourbon from Kings County Distillery, and the only thing I found disappointing is that it has taken me so long to try this. Monday Sample Size- Painted Stave Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Its another Sample Size Monday, and on this episode I switch things up a bit. After doing a little shopping, where I came across a Bottled in Bond Bourbon from Delaware, I knew I had to try it right away. On this episode I am also joined by my friend, Assistant Master Distiller at Treehouse, Steve, who is in the process of making Rum and Whisky amongst other things for them right now. If you like what we are doing here, let us know. Follow on Facebook, where you can message me or leave a review. Monday Sample Size - I survived Christmas
It's another Sample Size Monday bonus episode, from the only podcast that has bonus episode before they have full episodes. After surviving the holidays in the retail end of the Spirit World I decided to take a couple days off. This allows me the chance to have a bit more than a sample on this Monday. I taste through 2 samples of "allocated" whiskies. First, the Bomberger Declaration Bourbon, which was a splurge purchase for me. Then I taste EH Taylor Small batch, a gift from a good friend that I haven't tasted in a few years. Full episode will begin dropping soon with a 2 part opening episode on Anthony Bourdain that will set the tone for what I want the podcast to be. Bourdain's life in the restaurant business, as well as his love of food, writing, spirits, movies, music and most of all, the desire to connect with humans, are truly the inspiration behind what I do. So if that sounds like a good start to this podcast journey, click on the follow (or subscribe) button to get updates when new episodes are released. Follow on Facebook and Instagram, where you can leave comments or message me direct. You can also email me at [email protected] .
As always I am humbled that anyone out there is listening and connecting. I appreciate you. Cheers

Monday Sample Size on Tuesday
Usually Sample Size is a Monday thing, but hey it's the holidays, and being in a giving spirit, I'm giving extra episodes. Plus, working retail during the holidays sometimes requires a taste of something good to take the edge off of the day. So I took the opportunity to taste 2 samples. First the Smokewagon Uncut and Unfiltered batch 29, the Jack Daniel's 10year, which was Whiskey Advocates number 4 Whiskey of 2021. If you like what we are doing, follow the podcast to get notifications for new episodes. Follow on Facebook, where you can leave a comment or review. Also follow on Instagram. If you have an idea for a show, or a sample to try email me at [email protected]. Cheers

Monday Sample Size - Boomerang Cherry Liqueur & Cappelletti Americano Rosso
One of the great things about the Spirits world is the friends that we get to make in it. And one of the fun things we do is share samples of interesting or rare bottles that we come across. Mondays are the perfect night for opening one of these samples. If you are only going to have one drink, make it something different, that will make you think, and hopefully stimulate conversation the next time you see that friend. For this episode, we are giving you a couple of Christmas bonuses. First I have my first guest, my good friend Stephen, who is a cocktail historian and the assistant Master Distiller at Treehouse, tastes Boomeragn Cherry Liqueur with me, then I taste the Cappelletti Americano Rosso. Both of these samples were provided by my great friend Peter. This is definitely a great one for bartenders and cocktail enthusiasts. If you like what we are doing here, and are looking forward to the full episodes that are coming, follow or subscribe to the podcast. Also give us a rating or review. Follow on Facebook and Instagram. Email me at [email protected] if you have a sample you want me to try, or if you want to try something I've talked about. Thank you for listening. Cheers.
