Do your research!Research is the first step before you get started with building your lead magnet but it's often a step that people skip over.It's very easy to skip past and get right to create an awesome lead magnet that's beautifully designed. But if that lead magnet doesn't speak into the problem, it's not going to do your audience any good.Don’t make that mistake. Don't treat everybody the same.Don’t put them all on the same email list.Now, this is a big mistake that a lot of us make when we first start off with list building. We put everybody all on one list and give them the same experience. And when we first get started, that's naturally what we do because we might not have a very big list. How should you price your membership? What type of content and deliverables should you create?When you're considering creating a membership site or any type of offer, start with the price itself. Why? Because if you think about it, if you're doing a $10 month membership, do you think you're going to come up with different content choices than if you started off with $1,000 per month membership? On top of that, consider the perceived value of your offers.An email vs a PDF vs a Facebook live vs 1 on 1 training.Sometimes it's the same amount of time and energy space that you're giving, but the perceived value is much higher. You're the boss of your business so you get to decide what it looks like and how it feels.I think a lot of times we get stuck in this mentality that we have to do things a certain way, because that's what everyone says that we're supposed to do.But at the end of the day, we are building an online business that's supposed to serve us to serve ourselves, to serve our family, to allow us to make a bigger impact, to allow us to create financial freedom, time freedom for ourselves, and that means being the boss of our business.Remember that as you're creating your awesome offers, you get to be the boss, you get to decide what makes sense for you, your business, your life, your family, yourself.
