In this episode, we’re diving into the unique health challenges faced by law enforcement and military personnel—particularly the risks of being overweight in a profession that demands sudden, high-stakes performance. Law enforcement is often described as 99% boredom and 1% pure adrenaline, and that 1% can be dangerous, even deadly, for officers struggling with weight, metabolic disease, and insulin resistance. Many in these high-stress fields face an uphill battle with obesity and metabolic issues, made worse by the sedentary nature of much of their work.I share my own journey through these challenges: from a peak weight of 365 pounds to transforming my health and dropping over 130 pounds through fasting, testosterone therapy, and a new approach to nutrition. Fasting became a breakthrough strategy for me, helping reset my metabolism and cut down body fat sustainably.
