There are works that God has planned for you to accomplish today—witnessing, giving, encouraging, loving—and it is vitally important that you are busy doing God’s work while there is still time. If you are faithful to share the gospel with those you meet, God will use you to bring in the harvest.
“For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." - Ephesians 2:10
Do not be discouraged if you don’t see any response when you share the Gospel. God will bring the harvest in His time.
When we work for the Lord, we will not always see quick results. But just as a farmer remains diligent throughout the spring and summer in hopes of the harvest in the fall, we also "shall reap, if we faint not" (Galatians 6:9).
So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. - 1 Corinthians 3:7
As Christians, we can take part in fulfilling God's will by sharing the gospel with everyone. Refresh your passion for souls by focusing on God's desire for all to be saved.
“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” - 2 Peter 3:9
If we accomplish great temporal things but do nothing which impacts eternity, the world may praise us, but eternity will not. There is no more important task for any of us than sharing the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ.
For when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! - 1 Corinthians 9:16
Hide it under a bushel? NO! I'm gonna let it shine! When we fail to share the gospel, we are hiding its glorious offer from those who need it most.
"And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing." 2 Corinthians 4:3
