Baby with Tracey Tiernan and Pam Palumbo
Twenty-seven years ago, I made a decision that I can never undo. I had an abortion. I carry with me the sorrow of that decision and I will carry it for the rest of my life. But what I don’t carry with me, is the shame and guilt that I felt years ago. This episode is deeply personal because it’s my story. No politics here- Just my story. And I share it as a woman who has experienced the love and grace of God and profound healing from my trauma. I want that for women and men who are living with the pain and shame that has been a secret they’ve been holding for years. Pam Palumbo of Wellspring Life joins me for the second half of this podcast and no one I know has more experience, wisdom and compassion to talk about this hard topic. Have a listen and please share with someone that needs a tender touch, a safe place, and an invitation to bring their secret into the light of God’s love. 00:06:20 Meet Tracey00:14:15 The broken vase00:26:15 Pam Palumbo, Wellspring Life00:29:13 The ultimate mission of Wellspring life00:36:45 The statistics 00:44:30 Reversal of thought00:53:02 How can I get involved?01:06:00 Baby

Wear Love with Tracey Tiernan
We all want to have better relationships, right? The Bible is deeply relevant when it comes to how we treat other people and it gets all up in our business. And I love it! On this episode of the podcast, I’m sharing some lessons I’ve learned about loving our friends and yes, I’m still learning. I never want to just let my close relationships be on auto-pilot, but I want to nurture them to be healthy and vibrant. The wisdom in Colossians 3:12-14, tells us there are things we need to take off and things we need to put on. We are to wear love! What does that look like practically? The Unstoppable Darren Mulligan
Darren Mulligan of We Are Messengers is on a mission to tell people about Jesus and come what may, he just keeps going! See what I did there? “Come what May” is We are Messengers #1 single and seems to chronicle Darren’s story. He joins me for a warm conversation about Jesus, Ireland, making music, and his most recent brush with death in a terrible car accident, (not kidding!) where instead of going to the hospital, he had to catch his flight so he wouldn’t miss telling people about Jesus. His joy is contagious! You’re going to love this man and this conversation.

Evan Craft and the Language of Worship
As a teenager, Evan Craft took seriously Jesus's call to love our neighbors but he realized he couldn’t love them well if he couldn't talk to them. So many of his neighbors spoke Spanish and while this wasn't his culture or language, he determined to break that barrier and build a bridge instead. Evan studied Spanish and landed in Latin America at 21 years old and said, "Here I am Lord. Use me." Evan weaves English and Spanish together in his music and builds bridges of connection between cultures. To worship God in a language that connects to our hearts is what we all long for, and when we can worship together, with our different cultures and languages it's a glimpse of heaven. You're going to love Evan's heart. Join me for a great conversation with my new friend, singer-songwriter bridge builder… Evan Craft. 05:20 Worship in your heart language11:30 Individuality is beauty14:39 Untranslatable words19:04 All the nations, tribes, and tongues!

The Healing Power of Story with Mitch Albom
Mitch Albom writes stories that invite us to bring our deepest questions about life to the surface. In his classic from 1997, “Tuesdays with Morrie”, we joined Mitch on his visits to his old college professor, Morrie Schwartz, who shared treasures of wisdom as he was dying from ALS. Since then, Mitch has written so many others that weave our questions, fears, and longings together into a picture of what it is to be human, including his latest work; “The Stranger in the Lifeboat”. Mitch believes in the healing power of sharing our stories and so do I. Join me for a warm conversation with this special man who out of the overflow of his authentic questions and searching heart, has given us a treasury of stories that help us face our beliefs. 03:00 Finding Chika07:40 Fiction or Non-Fiction?10:29 What we carry defines us18:30 Update on the ministry in Haiti www.HaveFaithHaiti.org

Dear Anxiety, Let's Break Up!
Here’s a statistic that blew my mind: Over 49 million people in the U.S. have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. Soul Clutter with Tracey Tiernan
Clutter. It means to fill or cover with scattered or disordered things that impede movement or reduce effectiveness. Physical clutter gets in the way of your living space, your workspace, your car space, your purse space. Clutter makes it hard to find the stuff you actually need. Soul clutter is when this scattered, disordered state is internal. It’s the things that are blocking, restricting, impeding our peace, taking up space in our mind, will, and emotions, that inner-most part of us. Soul clutter can result in us settling for less than what God has for us, substituting quick fixes for deep work, and accumulating unresolved piles of pain from our past, while guilt, shame, and bitterness take up the space the Holy Spirit wants to fill. Got soul clutter? In this episode, I want to help you identify and purge that soul clutter and get some peace and order on the inside of you, where it really counts. 03:49 What is Soul Clutter? 08:57 What brings us clarity?11:30 Five areas (types) of Soul Clutter:12:38 #1 - Mistaken Enemies19:40 #2 - Rivaling Loyalties25:18 #3 - Opposing Authorities32:45 #4 - Competing Priorities36:00 #5 - Avoiding Responsibilities

The Enemy Within with Tracey
Has God ever spoken to you through a dream? We know He has done that many times in Scripture. I guess I was skeptical... until He communicated through a very vivid dream to me. It was a few years ago and it is still transforming my life. If you battle with negative and destructive self-talk and thoughts, I want to share a message that could give you some real help. I’m going to unpack a passage of Scripture, John 5:1-15, and talk about a personal battle God revealed to me in this dream. It was a battle I didn’t even realize I was fighting. And leading with perhaps the question that burns inside of all of us- Do you want to get well? 2:10- Be honest with yourself8:58- Background on the chapter of John12:06- John 515:48- Do you want to get well?23:25- What if Jesus healed your thoughts?32:42- Living in Jesus

The Neighborhood of Our Dreams with Julie Heiliger
There was a time years ago when I wanted to engage with my neighbors, but I was simply too exhausted by my multiple jobs and a busy schedule. I started feeling isolated, and I noticed I was losing my confidence in connecting with people outside my regular circle. One day, new neighbors arrived, started loving on me, and pulled me back into connection. Through them, I learned community isn’t just a good idea, it’s God’s idea. Julie Heiliger is a dear friend and author of “Finding Home - Exploring God’s Dream For Our Neighborhoods.” She gives us some beautiful ideas on how to love our neighbors well. And, who knows? With the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit, we just may be able to build the neighborhood of our dreams. 2:13- A Little bit of who Julie is6:03- Home prior to COVID7:47- What is perish 9:45- Julie’s journey learning what it means to love your neighbors 14:50- Knowing the person of Jesus17:20- Being a faithful presence20:51- Living “above your place”23:56- Connection30:35- Researching the community you live in33:20- Pouring into the people of your community35:08- How do you cut through the political issues and still lead with love38:26- Creative ways Julie has demonstrated loving her neighbors 44:43- Examples of what God wants for community 52:10- Being sensitive to the Spirit of God

Gracism with Dr. David Anderson
Racism has divided our country and our world for generations. My heart has been broken over it. Maybe you’ve experienced it yourself, or you’ve ached as you saw the divide get bigger. Is “Gracism” the answer to racism? My pastor and friend, Dr. David Anderson, planted Bridgeway Community Church 30 years ago, a multi-cultural church, where people of 52 nations worship and do life, together! He is one of the leading voices in the world on the topic of racism and reconciliation and he has created a word, that is more of a solution than I’ve heard anywhere: Gracism. I am so excited to share this conversation with you as he shares his personal story of growing up in Prince George's County, Maryland, a burning cross on his front lawn, and a mother who put honoring Jesus above revenge or bitterness. From Dr. Anderson’s own history, God birthed in him a passion to help us find common ground, racial reconciliation, and healing. 2:11- How David grew up6:15- The moment that shaped David8:50- The outlook David had19:30- The turning point of how David gave his life to the Lord22:11- How and when David got the idea of planting a Multicultural Church31:27- A working definition of racism35:25- How God works through the Multicultural Church36:19- Side dishes and how the different preferences are represented with all the diverse cultures42:02- Gracism: The Art of Inclusion by David Anderson44:56- The sayings of a gracist

365 Days of New
Ever feel like you’re stuck in a rut spiritually, emotionally, physically? This is where I found myself 10 years ago, wrestling with this fear deep inside: the best was behind me. There was nothing new to give, nothing new to tap into. I’d hit a wall at the age of 47. Are you there now? I want to help you get back your sense of newness, and share with you how an experiment – 365 days of new – changed my life and helped me learn what it means to be a "new creation" like the Apostle Paul writes about here in 2 Corinthians 5:17: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
