Die Hard (1988) Full Commentary
As it is the season of goodwill and all that shite, we are unlocking some Patreon content! Starting with a full audio commentary of CHRISTMAS CLASSIC Die Hard.
Die Hard is one of Terry's (and quite likely yours too) favourite movies, its a classic. Would you believe Andy hadn't seen it!!!
So we finally sat down together and watched it in full!

Surprise motherfuckers! Ah no. We decided to dust off the mics and catch up with each other, to see what we've been up to since our hiatus. Bit of a different vibe to usual as we're just chatting really with no agenda, but we had a great time!
We chat about Terry's moving house stress, Andy's COVID / colic stress, we chat about life, have a laugh, and you KNOW theres some movie recommendations in there. We even squeeze in a bit of wraaslin chat.
We still plan on coming back in the new year and are very excited about it! Hope you enjoy this BONO pod in the meantime.

Cage season rolls on with 1998's Snake Eyes. Considered by many to be a let down after Con Air / Face Off the year before, but many consider it Cage's finest work! We sit down with Irish comedian/writer Peter McGann to discuss this movie in all its glory. From the iconic opening 15 mins, the twist, the direction, the acting, the LOT. Peter is a man who knows his movies so it was a lot of fun to chat to him about this, and for Terry to get some PROPER discourse for a change. Enjoy!

Broken Arrow (1996) - PATREON EPISODE
Its our last week away (PROMISE), so what better way to prepare for John Woo's Face/Off, than with John Woo's BROKEN ARROW!!
This one has always been a movie of contention with us, as Terry never rated it, whereas Andy ranks it very high indeed. So we are going all the way back to 1996, with John Woo's Broken Arrow. We got Travolta at a TEN, hamming it up big style, we got Christian Slater doing the opposite, we got nukes, we got explosions, we got one-dimensional bad guys and SO much more. Enjoy!!

The Platform (2019) - NETFLIX
First off, APOLOGIES for the delay, it was another late Sunday record.
We are back in the off season discussing Spanish sci fi (ish) horror (ish) movie, the Platform, on Netflix. It takes place in a vertical prison, a platform of food gets lowered from the top, only stopping for 2 mins per day to feed, with each level getting only the leftovers from the previous ones. Great concept! We discuss the movie, what we liked, and we chat about how WE would react as cell-mates in this place.
We also discuss the Champions League final, and Terry went to see Everything Everywhere All at Once and he is now a changed man. Enjoy!
