What if a dragon lived in my closet? What if there were a never-ending bowl of ice cream? Pirates, fairies, wizards, robots, and friends help Mr. Eric tell stories inspired by kids’ questions. What If World’s progressive stories will keep kids laughing while fostering curiosity, imagination, and resilience.
Grownups, it's easy to share your kids' questions! Respond to our What If prompts on Instagram @whatifworldpodcast, leave a voicemail at 205-605-WHAT, or email [email protected].
Persephone asks: What if the middle of the earth was cotton candy and catnip? (w/ Ari Kelly)
Can Ari Kelly of At Your Level help find Fred the Dog at the center of What If World? Or will JFKat and Patty Pan mess up the mission?
Lessons include: imagination is wonderful, but it takes work to make dreams come true; learning when to lead and when to follow is part of being a great teammate

Two of your favorite characters team up this week… or at least they would if they could learn to get along. After a classic magic milkshake mix-up, the kitty president and hapless wizard will have to learn to listen if they ever want to change back.

Sophie asks: What if Cthunkle took Mr. Eric into his lair?
Cthunkle seems to think that “social distancing” means shutting himself away for eternity at the bottom of Squid Lake. Can Mr. Eric help him find other ways to have fun?
Lessons: When people are worried, it’s more fun to be a helper than a trickster; Washing our hands and keeping them away from our face is a healthy habit year round!
This episode talks about social distancing. Our What If World characters do see each other in a small group so that we can answer our kids' questions, but, in the US, the recommendation of health professionals as of March 14th, 2020, is to cancel classes and playdates and to spend time with your immediate family. If you haven’t heard episodes 138. What if barbies were real and they lived with evil robots?, and 149. What if magic didn't exist?, this story may be a bit more confusing than usual ;)
