The Gluttony of Thanksgiving has given way to the Consumerism of Black Friday and the Grotto finds itself in the middle of a Macy's Doorbuster Extravaganza. We have filled our forms for Prisms (a painting related insert that hints at the new mechanic of Dispersion) and for every 5 ordered 3s is throwing in a Thanksgiving insert. Not just any insert we have been told, one that encapsulates what we are doing here, a declared "Grotto Classic" that I still haven't seen as of this writing (deep dive on the piece next episode). We touch on the giving spirit of 3s with a deeper discount of those participating at an advanced level (and how participation is generally the correct move always). There is an update on World Cup Group Play and we get a bit off the rails talking about edition sizes, prices, and other things we promise to stop harping on.

These paintings are ever changing, morphing, transforming into something new. I feel like I always start these by saying we had a busy week. Well, we had an especially busy week this time around. We had two 1/1 auctions close, both won by the Monsters who decided to burn them immediately. This caused a mad dash for liquidity as claim tickets are coming due to buy back some of the unlocked Judy Garland Inserts. As I write this it sounds like a Mad Lib but I digress. Objkt and Coinbase fucked us out of additional auction fun and intrigue but at the end of the day we are just happy to be here. We dive into the low effort cubes used as claim tickets against the inserts, Token Z3ro (representing the first mint on thr33som3's very own custom contract), as well as the burn resulting in 5 Gilded Judys. We spend some time breaking down the final mint on the HEN contract and parlay that into a broader conversation about the good ole HEN days. Ultimately we realized that everything we do in this universe is a direct reaction to bad actors that dominated the space back then (and continue to do so today). Insulated from all the noise, we found ourselves playing the best game with fri3nds we never knew we needed. End of an 3ra, glad to be here with you all!

This was a busy week for the Grotto. Everyone ordered their bulk inserts and we recap the drop before moving into what's next: 1/1 Auctions, Custom Smart Contract Updates, Final Mint on HEN, Free Agency and Team Orgs, and Monster Movie / Gourd Grab bag Month (DGSMF).

This week we are excited to talk about Monday's long awaited insert drop. We zig zag through history to explain the different reasons inserts are the smartest play in this universe. No one has ever purchased enough, go ahead and try. There is Alpha hidden within but more will be revealed with the drop on Monday. The auctions for the two corresponding 1/1s will be a sight to behold next week so make sure to tune in to hear the breakdown of this iconic moment in our history.

This week we go over the happenings in the Grotto, including the highly anticipated G Friends drop with Grotto fav Waambat, 8Bidou 8x8 pieces being added to Objkt, and a recap of the Girlfri3nd Burn.
