557 EXTRA Everyone Hates You

557 EXTRA Everyone Hates You

we all have the same desires because we copy our desires from other people we copy our desires for other people and if this is true if we do copy all of our desires for other people to make a lot of sense about how we act around other people is it we don't have any innate desires of our own we just create these desires by observing other people. And we started wanting the same things as those other people even from when we were small children we so what I want I want a car I want this or I want that. Well everybody hates you because you have stuff you have things that they want and you have things that they want if they can have because you have all.

And because other people have them we hate them. We trying to do whatever we can to either get the same things they have or tear them down so that they don't have the same things that we have that we want. That's the thing about human beings we have this envy and it's one of the things that I mean if you look at Buddhism is the talk is it's all throw Buddhism.

Hello, there should be a middle way how we shouldn't be envious of each other but if you think about mimetic theory and if you think about this society that we're in today and how we have this hyper attenuated medic this going on because 7 by 24 we have the feed of what other people are doing what other people like what other people are eating whether people are driving one of the people are doing what other people are are traveling to it wherever other people or leave living. It might be under foundation but if there's somebody out there who has what you want. You hate them for having what you don't have and what you want so in the end at the bottom of all this everyone hates you.

So how do we get around this I don't think we can't unless we can somehow work to alleviate this envy this mimetic desire this requirement or this keeping up with the Joneses thing where we have to have everything that everybody else wants we need to be unique we need to be different we just stand aside from the crowd we need to say to ourselves I don't want what everybody else wants I want something different. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thinkfuture/support

556 EXTRA What's The Downside?

556 EXTRA What's The Downside?

Ask yourself should I do this should I do this you probably that kind of decision every single day. Every single day you probably have thousands and thousands of decisions like that. I think I think I read somewhere that.

So you have to think yourself how many gonna get through this day. M. B.

these all of these decisions if I have to think about every single one of these decisions. And I think there are people who have to think about each one of these decisions because they have to have to think about how is this going to work how is this going to make things better for me right they don't have any ethical or moral or some set of rules that they go by because if they had a set of rules it is really easy because they could just look at the decision to go how does this map to my set of rules. Learn like that the more malleable they say well let me think about this is second and decide what I'm gonna do with it.

So if you are in that situation you have a conundrum. And the question is. What is the downside if I don't do this? What is the downside if I don't do this right? Just think about it for a second so there's the decision sitting in front of you.

If I make a decision one way or another you have to look down so how bad could it be. Right, what is the downside of the massive sandwich well if you're trying to diet then there is a downside of eating an ice cream sandwich is probably gonna be bad for your diet so there's a downside don't do it. Should I send this email to someone so might they be mad about it what's the absolute worst downside are you gonna get fired from it no they probably just might get annoyed? Ask yourself when you have questions when you have a decision to make in front of you.

Use that to determine whether or not you can do it what's the worst that could happen what is the downside what is the absolute downside to this and don't be. Most likely nothing will happen it won't be that bad it's kind of like when I was working with some clients and they go like we don't know who's gonna do this thing who's going to the single somebody steps up and does it. If you step up and do it people when it is partially who was able to do this they're waiting for someone to take responsibility it's the same with the decision-making process.

What is the downside think about it this way think about the downside if the downside is not that bad what's the worst that could happen then just do it. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thinkfuture/support

554 EXTRA Will Robots Take Your Job?

554 EXTRA Will Robots Take Your Job?

Because people have a question right especially nowadays people think that for some reason that is like a special new kind of thing. But every time we have a revolution new jobs just form under either brand new jobs that didn't exist before web developer in 19 if you go back in the 1975 and say Hey I'm a web developer people like what you deal with spiders. Every time there's been some kind of revolution.

But for some reason, I don't know why for some reason. Nowadays the the the clamor is that. So some very intelligent person I'm not sure who did it created a website called will robots take my job at.

com will robots take my job.com I put a link. To this site will robots take my job.

com and what you do is you basically go in you put in your job title. There's it gives you a percentage is like what are the chances that your job will be automated away. And this is what I said before is it more than likely if you have a white color job right now if you have a white color job in this is the interesting part about this is that if you think about white-collar jobs right now one of the things about white-collar jobs is very interesting is that sometimes the brunt of a white color job actually is just moving information from one form to another.

White-collar jobs are under the gun in fact if you go to this website will reverse the image of a common you put in a white-collar job and see an accountant or project manager or whatever there's probably you know 15 to 20 percent possibility that your job will be done. But if you put something in like an artisan or crafter Baker he goes to almost 0 to 2 percent or something like that white-collar jobs will disappear and I actually said this I did a blog post 1000000 years ago talking about how blue-collar jobs that human beings can do right now really well are the ones they're going to be suddenly in high demand suddenly you'll be paying $250000 for the bricklayer. There's so much misinformation in so much a Roni is information about where we are with a I right now and it's the same kind of stuff is going to do things in the news media is all they care about is panicking people only care about is freaking people out only want you to do is to be sitting in your home shivering with fear because everything is horrible.

The possibility the robots are getting a job is almost 0. Is it don't worry about it so much A. I.

is not gonna take your job any time soon and now we don't have there are billions of jobs 0 jobs out there that are waiting to be filled right now so. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thinkfuture/support

553 EXTRA How Do You Sell To Bots?

553 EXTRA How Do You Sell To Bots?

Below are going to be making the decision as to whether or not we're going to that they're going to buy something right is something to be purchased he will most likely be done by a human being right now at this point but. But at some point in the future and it may be coming sooner than you think. Okay, your example so I wrote something about future sales and it was all about what do you do.

In a future where you don't buy things directly anymore you never buy things directly anymore you buy them through a virtual assistant so what happens the virtual assistant you talked to your virtual assistant in your virtual assistant it's not gonna be Alexa or Google or any of those other virtual systems that you see today because these virtual assistants that you see today all work for their own companies they work for Google to work for apple it works for Amazon. They don't work for us I'm talking about the future virtual assistant future virtual sister who works for us on our nickel. We're gonna sit or virtual assistant you know what I want to go home why.

I wanna go to Y. I feel like one way or even the virtual system if it's smart enough isn't even going to wait for us to say I want to go away it's going to say he if you think you need a vacation. You don't know when I can leave you'll know when there's a quiet time at work and it'll go in and seek out.

And then it will find 3 or 4 options in the present them to me and say Hey there you go I have found 3 or 4.2 cases for you because it seems to me that you could really use a vacation. So the marketers who are selling or trying to pitch their version of the Hawaiian vacation are they talking to the end user no they're not they're talking to a virtual assistant.

You have to be pitching to a human being you can be pitching to a virtual assistant and how are you going to pitch to a virtual assistant I mean we barely know how to pitch properly to a human being how we gonna pitch to a virtual assistant. But that's where the future of sales is that's where the future of marketing is because right now we're pitching to people and we know how to pitch to people we know exactly how to pitch to people we can be super accurate about pitching people and marketing people and honing in on targets in going bang bang bang use this number of messages this number this call quality blind or not a lot we can so we can use an I. to zoom in.

There's my question to you have you thought at all about talking to machines how do you pitch to a bot instead of humans. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thinkfuture/support
