How to Retire Rich & Still Have a Family

By 13 he was working as a busboy, helping his recently-divorced mom, and picking up some of his own tabs. A valuable lesson was learned: If you don’t deal with your money, your money will deal with you. By age 30, Joe had wiped out $70k in student loans, bought his first house, and started a post-production company in Los Angeles. Over the next decade, the company grew to 30+ employees with over 5 million in annual revenue, while producing two critically-acclaimed documentaries and an Emmy-winning HBO series. During this time, he and his wife also transacted on 15 residential and commercial real estate properties. But nothing had a more life-changing impact than the birth of their son.
