The Mind Thrives on Order

In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly explain that the mind thrives on order. And when you feed the succinct articulation of your life to yourself each day you create immense order in the mind. And as Kelly points out, it makes you feel lighter. It causes all those half thoughts that are going on in your head to either go away or become full thoughts. Think It Be It Methodology – 5 Principles Made SIMPLE

In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly explain the think it be it methodology. They make the five core principles profoundly simple. It starts with what determines your success. It’s your daily actions. That’s it. The cumulative effect of your daily actions determine your success in each area of your life. Then the second principle. The significance of 95% of your daily actions being unconscious. If your daily actions determine your success, and 95% of your daily actions are unconscious, if you don’t gain control over those unconscious daily actions, you play the game life at 5% of your potential. It should be so obvious that your subconscious mind rules your life as well as how you feel about yourself. Then the third principle. Conscious mind versus unconscious mind. Conscious mind sets the intention and is influenced by logic. Subconscious mind controls your everyday actions and ongoing thoughts. Influenced only by repetition. The classic example is losing weight. Conscious mind sets the intention to lose weight based on logic of the health benefits. But people often times fail to lose weight not from lack of intention. But rather from not influencing the part of them that controls their daily actions of exercising and controlling what they eat. The subconscious mind.&nbsp; The fourth principle is the impact of being wired for survival. It’s three things. 75% of your thoughts are fear-based, your reactive rather than proactive on your important agenda. And you're profoundly resistant to change. If you do nothing in your morning routine to override being wired for survival, you live your life fear-based and reactive. The 12 minute a day morning routine overrides your innate programming. Instead of having an antiquated operating system gearing your life to be fear-based and reactive, let’s install the 21st century operating system the wires you to be productive, creative and happy. But you have to put in the software every day. Takes 12 minutes a day. Then the last concept. Your subconscious mind is either your greatest asset or your greatest nemesis. Since 95% of your daily thoughts and actions are unconscious, obviously if you gain control over that it’s your greatest asset. Your Subconscious Mind Is Either Your Greatest Asset or It’s Your Greatest Challenge and Nemesis in Life

In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John welcomes back Steve Prendergast as a guest on today show. It was Steve who came up with a line that your subconscious mind is either your greatest asset or your greatest challenge in life. John and Steve bat that idea around. And John points out that the fact that a person is wired for survival is the biggest thing a person has to overcome. And he makes the analogy using higher forms of life coming to earth. If there was a higher life form that came to our planet and observed our planet, they would observed that human beings are wired for survival. And therefore they are fear-based and reactive.But in looking at modern society today, it looks like humans have a pretty cushy life. There’s nothing threatening their survival on a daily basis. They all want to be successful and happy. But being fear-based and reactive is exactly the opposite of how they need to be in order to be productive and happy. These enlightened aliens would likely say -well let’s just fix that and let’s go into their DNA and reprogram them. We learned how to do that light years ago. The Takeaway from that story is that you can wait for enlightened beings to come to earth and reprogram you or you can take the responsibility for reprogramming yourself for success right now.John then goes on to make a key point. Why This 12 Minute A Day Methodology Works

In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss why this 12 minute a day technique works. John opens the discussion by saying that it’s a combination of two things. It gives a person immense control over themselves. But that is coupled with intelligent success strategies. John points out that when he was in his 50s and was blessed to make 25 times the 200 – $300,000 a year he was making the prior 20 years, it was happening because of the immense control he had over himself. But it also included being able to implement key strategies. Such as being highly organized. Planning his day the night before and time blocking his days. Your Spirituality – You Can Re-Create Who You Are

John talks about his class at the University of Texas that he is currently teaching. He’s re-creating 36 lies with intention. As he pointed out to his class, who you are today is a function of good influences and bad influences. That’s created good attributes in yourself and some negative characteristics that you would want to change. But all that happened by happenstance. Very little of who you are today was created with intention and clarity. As John points out to his class, let’s start with a blank sheet of paper. Let’s create the ideal you. And then once we do that with the conscious mind, let’s feed it to the subconscious mind. So that that’s who you actually become. As reflected in your thoughts and actions. As John pointed out in this podcast, the same process would apply whether you’re 20 years old, 40 years old or 60 years old. So the power of this 12 minute a day methodology as your new morning routine allows you to impact your spirituality and literally re-create who you are. Affirming all the good things and eliminating the bad things. As John points out, this methodology is like crisper for the soul. The Creation Of Your Thoughts – You Can Influence It

In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John explained the topic of today’s episode. The creation of your thoughts – you can influence it. And John presented an interesting concept. The thoughts that are going on in your head on an ongoing basis determine both your level of success as well as your enjoyment of life. No one denies that. But what’s interesting is you can influence your thoughts when they are created. Let me restate that. When they are created.And here’s the opportunity. 95% of your daily thoughts and actions are unconscious. The fact that they are unconscious is actually the opportunity. Because if the opposite were true, and the majority of your thoughts were conscious, it be impossible to control your thoughts. But the key thing to appreciate is that since they are unconscious, that’s actually the opportunity. The vast majority of thoughts actually originate in the subconscious mind. And by properly programming the subconscious mind with the succinct articulation of your life each day, exactly what you want to accomplish and how you’re going to accomplish your goals, that’s the repetition that influences the subconscious mind. That’s what then causes the right thoughts to happen at their creation. Which then in turn causes the right actions to happen.But the big take away from today’s episode is that you can influence the creation of your thoughts. The other big take away is that 98% of people don’t do anything to influence their subconscious mind. That’s exactly why so many people only use their conscious mind to set intentions. Then they are puzzled as to why those intentions never turn into reality. Well it’s because they’re not influencing the part of their brain that controls their actions. The subconscious mind. In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly explain what the full secret of the legendary book Think and Grow Rich actually is. Using Our AI Algorithm – To Customize Our Life GPS Template

In this episode, John and Kelly explain how to use our AI algorithm to customize our life GPS template to your unique life. They start out by recapping the science we learned last week. Kelly explains the reticular activating system. How it’s the filter for the brain. And how important it is to give clarity to that filter regarding what you want and how you going to get it. What that means is you define exactly the person you want to be, exactly what you want to accomplish, and precisely how you can achieve your clearly defined goals. You put all that on a template. That’s what allows you to feed it to yourself and only take 12 minutes a day. The template also applies the science of the human mind. And then once you feed the succinct articulation of your life yourself each day, after 21 days the right actions start happening automatically without thinking. Your Success Is Already In Your Head

So you have to gain control over your subconscious mind to have a better life for yourself. And the subconscious mind only response to repetition and that’s the power of feeding the succinct articulation of your life yourself each day. The thing that amazes John and Kelly is that so few people in the mindset and success business get this. That everything comes down to reprogramming the subconscious mind. Because when you don’t, your intentions never turn into actions. And to go even deeper on this John restates the topic today. Your success comes down to the relationship you have with yourself in your moments of solitude. And here’s why. Your actions determine your success. Your actions emanate from your thoughts. Core Childhood Wounds – Healing Them Through TIBI

In this episode, John and Kelly discuss core wounds. John just got back from a seven day vacation to Sedona. Went to a retreat on marriage and took his whole family. His wife Ginger, and the two kids Will and Hannah who are in the 30s. Along with Hannah’s husband Charlie. It was life-changing for all. One of the key things addressed was core childhood wounds. We all have them. And they play out in our life and particularly in our marriages. So it’s important to understand what your core wound is. John’s core wound is not feeling heard and the fear of loneliness. Kelly’s core wound is having to be a people pleaser. John and Kelly discuss how using the think it be it methodology will cure the core wound. You figure out what it is and figure out what the affirmation is to eliminate it. May also give a reason why it doesn’t affect one’s life today. You put that in the persons visualization. Then you feed it to yourself each day. After 21 days, believe it or not, the core wound is neutralized and doesn’t affect your life. Success Formula – The Search

In this episode, John and Kelly discuss John’s new book – THE MISSING SECRET … Of the legendary book think and grow Rich. That is coming out in October of this year. John tells a story about finding a big time editor who edited the wildly successful entrepreneur roller coaster book by Darren Hardy. John met her 10 years ago. Spirituality – How It’s Impacted By The TIBI 12 Minute A Day Methodology

Creating the Person You Want to Be Takes 12 Minutes a Day

In this episode, John and Kelly discuss how to create the person you want to be using our 12 minute a day methodology. John starts the podcast by succinctly explaining what our methodology is. You create immense clarity about your life. Exactly the person you want to be, exactly what you want to accomplish, and precisely how you’re going to achieve your clearly defined goals. Then you feed that clarity to yourself every day. After 21 days, the science kicks in and it starts influencing your daily actions, 95% of which are unconscious. Then those upgraded daily actions create the life you want. Your Health – How Our 12 Minute A Day Methodology Affects

In this episode, John and Kelly discuss the impact of the think it be it methodology regarding one’s health. Kelly leads off the discussion regarding how is has impacted her health. Then John gets into the difference between one’s intentions and actually taking the actions to make one’s intentions come into reality. John explains how the human mind works. The conscious mind sets your intention and is influenced by logic. The subconscious mind controls your everyday actions, and it’s influenced only by repetition. Here’s the example. Say you want to lose weight. The conscious mind sets the intention to lose weight based on the logic of the health benefits. But the reason people don’t lose weight is not from lack of intention. They have all the intention in the world. They don’t lose weight because they are not influencing the part of their brain that controls their daily actions – the subconscious mind. That’s what controls what they eat and exercising on a daily basis. Because 95% of a person’s daily actions are unconscious. See the connection to the subconscious mind. So the methodology makes the right actions happen automatically without thinking because it’s influencing the subconscious mind. John also talks about doing a health program last year called fountainlife. It’s owned by Tony Robbins. The program’s goal is early detection of cancer, heart disease, or anything else that could be life-threatening. The take away John got from this is that being healthy is all about detecting problems early. Accordingly, you need to get your blood analyzed every six months. You also need to get your gut analyzed. This is done via a stool sample. Also determine if you’re deficient in any micronutrients which can be improved through supplements. In this episode, John and Kelly discuss the impact of the think it be it methodology regarding one’s romantic relationship. Netting Over $1 Million A Year

In this episode, John and Kelly discuss netting over $1 million a year. Which only one third of 1% of people are able to do. John talks about when he was first able to do this in his early 50s. It happened because he had immensely more control over himself. He could do now five high-performance skills he couldn’t do before. He was highly organized. Planned this day the night before and time blocked his day. He was deep thinking two times a week. He was growing intellectually, in areas that were strategic relative to what he wanted to accomplish. He was focused only on what moves the needle. And he had control over his daily actions, 95% which are unconscious. Kelly goes on to say that when she crossed over to netting over million dollars a year, it allowed her to just have more impact. There’s More In The Tank

In this episode, John and Kelly discuss something that Kelly actually said to John when she met him. She said she felt like there was more in the tank. She couldn’t understand the disconnect between her efforts and your results. Why weren’t the results better. Again, there was more in the tank that she couldn’t get out. Then as John started to teach her the methodology, he explained to her why she felt that way. Your daily actions determine your success in each area of your life. 95% of your daily actions are unconscious. Therefore if you’re not gaining control over those unconscious daily actions, you’re playing the game of life at 5% of your potential. That’s why you feel like there’s more in the tank. John went on to explain that he felt there was more in the tank when he turned 50. But he also realized he just wasn’t taking the right actions. The actions he was taking was netting him $200,000 a year. But when he started taking the right actions, he made 25 times that. John talks about the five high performance skills that he learned in his 50s that are reaffirmed in his daily visualization. He had to be a 10 on organization. So he created a very simple powerful system. Another high-performance skills was setting aside time to just think two times a week. The third one was using a system to bring in the wisdom of experts into his head each and every week. In strategic areas he needed. The fourth high-performance skill was focusing on what moves the needle. And really understanding what that is. And then the fifth high-performance skill was leveraging himself by understanding how the human mind works. Kelly points out that virtually every client of think it be it says that they feel like there is more in the tank when they start the process. John talks about how when he tries to influence people, he now asked them five questions. First, how driven are you? They need to be a nine or 10. Second question is how do you create success in your life? Most people won’t have a way. Third question is do you feel like there is more in the tank? You’ve Got To Figure Out Your Life

In this episode, John and Kelly discuss that is on you to figure out your life. John talks about coming to grips with this when he was 50 years old. And not only did he have to accept full responsibility, he also saw that he had to figure out the specific actions he had to take to create the life he wanted. A big challenge. Doing Your Best Doesn’t Work

In this episode, John and Kelly discuss the idea that the doing your best doesn’t work. John discusses that when he was 40 years old, he adopted the strategy for success of just doing his best. That’s all he controlled. So that’s what he focused on. Doing his best. But that didn’t produce big results. Then he got enlightened in his 50s. He understood fundamentally how success works. It comes down to your daily actions. And if you don’t know the proper daily actions to take, even though you might be doing your best, you won’t have big success. What John learned is that the key to being successful is creating immense clarity about your life. Defining exactly the person you want to be, exactly what you want to accomplish, and precisely how you’re going to achieve your clearly defined goals. By defining that, then you see the right actions you take. It becomes obvious. And then you feed that clarity to yourself every day. That impacts your daily actions. Wisdom Transfer Dilemma

In this episode, John and Kelly discuss the challenge of taking wisdom and sharing it with other people. John talks about a statue that sits in his den. It has three men that are climbing. The lowest guy is struggling, the middle guy is going sideways, and the third guy is going straight up. When John looks at that statue each morning, he thinks about his own life. The guy at the lowest level was was John in his 30s. The guy going sideways was John in his 40s. And the guy going straight up John in his 50s. John sees that when he started going straight up in his 50s, he saw and understood things he never understood before. He gained wisdom from the book Think and Grow Rich. Most People Are Re-Creating The Past-Joe Dispenza

In this episode John and Kelly discuss an idea that comes from Joe Dispenza. He says that when we wake up each morning, we are oriented to our recent past. To our familiar past. So when our eyes open each morning, three things are going on. First we’re innately wired for survival. Which causes us to be fear-based and reactive. Secondly, 95% of our daily thoughts and actions are unconscious. And third, and this is what Joe Dispenza adds to the equation, we are oriented to the recent past. So the effect is when you open your eyes each morning, you’re fear-based and reactive. With the vast majority of your thoughts being fear-based, with 95% of them being unconscious. And you’re thinking about the recent past. Your problems and may be little things that hurt you over the last few days. That then produces feelings. And those feelings create more negative thoughts. It’s a spiraling negative loop that causes you to continually re-create the past. Thoughts are the language of the mind and feelings are the language of the body. So when you get in this negative loop to continually re-create the past, nothing is pulling you forward. That’s why the think it be it 12 minute a day methodology is so powerful. We All Have A Big Problem We Must Overcome: We Are wired For Survival Not Success

And here’s the impact of being wired for survival. It causes 70% of our thoughts to be fear-based. We’re reactive rather than proactive on our important agenda. So think about that. If you’re innately wired to be fear-based and reactive, that’s exactly the opposite of how you need to be in order to be productive creative and happy. And to say that another way, you’re wired for failure. During the discussion Kelly talks about social media. And how it puts being wired for survival on steroids. Why Are Only 2% Of People Driven

In this episode, John and Kelly discuss the fact that only 2% of people are driven. John explains that he first discovered this about five years ago. He decided to go to the top expert in the world on success and share think it be it with him or her. As it turns out, John decided that Darren Hardy was the top expert in the world on success. So after he writes a big check and goes out to California, John meets with Darren. Shows him the think it be it template and explains the methodology. And after Darren looked at it very closely he says “this is good”. But Darren says that people are not going to spend 12 minutes a day on this. John couldn’t believe it. John goes how can that be? It 25X my income, Time Magazine did a cover story on the science behind this, and you’re applying the central concept of the top book in the world on success to your life. What you mean that they won’t spend 12 minutes a day on this? Darren says John, you’re new to the success business. The dirty little secret is that most people won’t do anything to impact their success. Because more success is merely a preference. Merely a preference. Darren said you have to only show this to the 2% of people where more success is a necessity. The people that are truly driven. John said that was so eye-opening. And over the subsequent years, what Darren said has proven to be so true. Kelly mentioned that the fact that only 2% of people are driven has a lot to do with self-worth. We Live In An “Absence Of Truth” World

In this episode, John and Kelly discuss the fact that we live in an absence of truth world. There are no facts today. Everything is opinions. And the effect of that is it is hard to move forward in resolving important issues. John gives the example of rising crime. So how do we solve the problem. When you dig into the facts, you discover that the vast majority of crime is committed by just a few repeat offenders. Well logically, if that is true, the solution is essentially to lock ‘em up and throw away the key. But in this country with the progressive left, there is this belief that incarcerating people is racist because more people of color are incarcerated. Therefore they let repeat offenders out with no bail. And that’s what striving crime in many places today. Well that type of boneheaded thinking reflects lack of understanding the facts. Another example is the covid vaccine. In the United States we lost about 1 million people from Covid. In looking at the facts, millions of people were saved from the vaccine. In fact the two developers of the covid vaccine won the Nobel Prize last year for it. How do we move forward regarding vaccines in the future if we can’t acknowledge the truth about the Covid vaccine. Then the third example. John’s favorite. The big lie that Trump promotes that the last presidential election was stolen from him. Yet there’s not a scintilla of evidence to support that. And John sees that when he gets in discussions with his friends that believe the election was stolen, which is what 60% of Republicans believe, nothing can get resolved because they ignore the facts. Then we switch to a lighter topic. John talks about five keywords or phrases that are often said in a good romantic relationship. Here are the five phrases. Thank you, I’m sorry and I apologize, I like you, I’m committed to you, help me understand. Seek To Understand Instead Of Trying To Be Understood (Encore)

What Is Your Superpower – Everyone Has One

In this episode, John and Kelly discuss the fact that everyone has a superpower. And there’s power in knowing what it is and playing into it. Kelly’s superpower is being a people person. Being able to make people feel heard and recognized. Having empathy. John goes on to say that his superpower is being able to take the complex and make it simple. John discovered this when he was 27 years old working as a CPA. And he saw that talent playing out throughout his life. When he launched into being an entrepreneur at 30, he was able to prepare the investment brochure in a way that made the complex simple. So investors would ride a check to fund his real estate development. Then when he got into the reverse mortgage business at 50, he made reverse mortgages simple. How Do You Answer “How Are You Doing”? (Encore)

The Opportunity: 95% Of Your Thoughts Are Unconscious

In this episode, John and Kelly discuss the concept that 95% of your thoughts are unconscious. And that is actually a huge opportunity. Your success in life as well as your enjoyment of life comes down to the thoughts that are going on in your head most the time. But why is that. Why do your thoughts determine your success. It’s because your thoughts determine each action. And your actions create success in your career, in your marriage, and in controlling your health. But here’s the opportunity. 95% of your daily thoughts are unconscious. And that’s actually a good thing. Because if they were conscious, you’d have to spend all your time consciously trying to control your thoughts. You wouldn’t have time for anything else. But the fact that they are UNCONSCIOUS is the opportunity. To control your thoughts you simply have to influence the mechanism that is generating your thoughts. Are You In The 2%?

In this episode, John and Kelly discuss the concept of the 2% versus the 98%. In John’s opinion, 98% of people are sheep. They follow the crowd. And that’s what creates the average life. Which isn’t pretty today in the United States. John gives the example of think it be it being only for the 2%. Because only 2% of people consider more success a necessity rather than merely a preference. Most people want to be more successful but it’s merely a preference. They won’t do the things required to actually be more successful. It also comes down to embracing playing the game life at your full potential. Something only 2% of people aspire to do. What It Means To Do Your Best (Encore)

In this episode, John and Kelly talk about what it means to do your best. John explains that in his 40s, doing his best meant getting up it 5:30 AM. When he got into his 50s, he expanded his vision of doing his best. It was three things. Effort – getting up at 5:30 AM. Second, focus on what moves the needle. And then third, personal growth. With a system. And making sure the growth was consistent and strategic relative to what he wanted to accomplish.Kelly talks about what doing her best means to her. She said it’s showing up as the best version of yourself. Always doing the right thing.
