Ep 297: INTERVIEW: tackling Global Water Shortages

Ep 297: INTERVIEW: tackling Global Water Shortages

In this episode, I interview Scott Harrison, CEO of the non-profit organization charity: water. We discuss the global water crisis and how charity: water is working to provide clean water access to communities around the world.   Scott shares his story of how he went from being a nightclub promoter in New York City to volunteering with doctors and humanitarian workers in Liberia, West Africa.   He describes seeing thousands of sick people unable to get medical help, which inspired him to start charity: water to address the lack of clean water fueling disease. Scott explains how 771 million people worldwide lack access to clean water, with women and girls often bearing the burden of finding and carrying water for their families.    So, how does Scott make a difference?   He discusses the different technologies and solutions charity: water uses to fund water projects based on each community's needs, from drilled wells to piped water systems.   Lack of clean water prevents children, especially girls, from attending school regularly. Providing water access allows more girls to get an education. Women and girls spend countless hours walking for water each day. Bringing water closer to home gives them more time for work, family, and community.    Scott stresses that we have the ability to solve the water crisis but need the resources and will to make it happen.   He shares powerful stories that reveal the dramatic impact clean water access makes on people's health, dignity, and quality of life.   Transformational Takeaway:   While the global water crisis can seem overwhelming, this episode underscores that every one of us has the power to make a real difference through small, consistent acts of service. When we shift from self-focus to serving others, we tap into our innate compassion and humanity. What simple act of service, however small, could you engage in today to be part of the solution to the world's immense needs?     VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/297   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 296: Do you Work From Convenience or Spiritual Responsibility in Life?

Ep 296: Do you Work From Convenience or Spiritual Responsibility in Life?

Do you ever feel like you're just along for the ride when it comes to your spiritual journey? How would you feel if you had made your own breakthrough? In this episode, I focus on taking responsibility for your spiritual growth and evolution versus living out of ego-based convenience. We’ll explore how to balance the dualistic aspects of being both a physical and energetic being, and how taking responsibility for integrating higher spiritual wisdom can lead to profound growth.  So, what are some things to consider about this concept? We are both physical (body/ego) and energetic/spiritual (divine essence) simultaneously. The body is a "container" for the divine self. However, most let the ego/body control the higher divine self. This is like a 3-year-old controlling someone with a PhD. We must balance the higher and lower aspects of ourselves to live fully. True responsibility means causing something to happen. If you don't have what you want, you are not taking responsibility. When given spiritual wisdom, it's the teacher's responsibility to share it. It then becomes your responsibility to apply it. Many gather information but don't grow because they don't integrate it. Taking action is key. Convenience keeps us stuck in the limited physical/ego self rather than the expansive divine. Spiritual growth often requires inconvenience and discomfort to elevate higher. But it's necessary for evolution. The divine self doesn't care about the convenience of the body/ego. Prioritizing convenience hurts your evolution. Transformational Takeaway: Your evolution depends on taking true responsibility for your spiritual growth. Don't let ego-convenience pull you off your path. Live with purpose. What areas of spiritual responsibility have you been avoiding due to convenience and how can you courageously integrate more spiritual wisdom into your daily life?     VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/296     LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 295: What's going on in this crazy world?

Ep 295: What's going on in this crazy world?

Do you find yourself in a whirlwind of thoughts revolving around our chaotic world? Like it bleeds over into personal parts of your life that it shouldn’t?    In this thought-provoking episode, I discuss what my shaman mentor Don Javier sees happening in the world right now and share ideas for how you can thrive despite the chaos and uncertainty.    The main theme is maintaining inner peace and operating from a higher vibration to navigate external turmoil.   The children being born today are coming in with higher energy frequencies, which we're seeing evidence of in the rise of autism spectrum disorders. To me, this indicates humanity is evolving energetically as a species. The challenge is that these higher-frequency kids often struggle to integrate into our lower-frequency 3D world.   As bioelectromagnetic beings, we're influenced by shifts happening in the planet's electromagnetic fields. The erratic energetics of the poles shifting affect our emotions and stability. Staying grounded and focused on higher frequencies like love, joy, and peace helps counter the destabilizing effect.   Profit motives, human ego, and fear-mongering drive much of the chaos we're seeing play out in the world today. The news media and big industries financially benefit from keeping people afraid. Maintaining the perspective that you're an infinite soul having a temporary human experience helps detach from fear-based narratives.   Transformational Takeaway:   During turbulent times, elevating your vibration is crucial for inner peace. Ponder how you can shift your perspective to come from your highest identity rather than getting caught up in chaotic externals. Ask yourself, "What would my soul be advising me to do right now?" and "How can I be a force of compassion in the world?" The more you focus on raising your own consciousness, the more you can positively impact the collective.    VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/295     LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 294: The Ignored Truth About Money and Abundance

Ep 294: The Ignored Truth About Money and Abundance

When was the last time you evaluated your relationship with money and exchange? Do you currently have an exchange problem posing as a money problem? Not sure what I mean? Let’s dive into this critical concept… In this episode, I share the truth about money and abundance that most people ignore, no matter where they are in their money journey. I explain why change is required if you want to attract more prosperity and abundance and reveal the key formula for wealth creation. You Don't Have a Money Problem. You Have an Exchange Problem. If you have a money challenge, change is required - the universe won't just bring you money without you changing something. Most people work backwards - they want money first before making changes, but change must come first. The truth is that money is a medium of exchange. If you don't have money, you aren't exchanging something to get money. Why is this important? We all want to go to a higher emotional state. Look at what you can exchange to help give others a higher state.  My coaching program helps people transform their lives. They pay me money, and I exchange my expertise, coaching, and support for all willing to join. Think about what service or value you can exchange to help give others a better experience of life. You must value your value. Do you think the value your unique talents bring are worth a high-value exchange? Many people do things to help others but still don't increase their prosperity. Why? You don't get paid for the value you create - you get paid for the value you place on the value you create. If you don't value your own value, others won't pay you for it. You must believe in your worth and charge accordingly. Transformational Takeaway: To attract true abundance, shift your focus from chasing money to conscious exchange. Offer your gifts to help others experience a higher state of being, and have the confidence to value your worth and charge what you deserve. What steps can you take TODAY to bring this formula to life?    VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/294     LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 293: Which game of life are you playing?

Ep 293: Which game of life are you playing?

Have you ever thought about life as being like a game? I don't mean board games or video games, but more like the "game of life" we are all playing every day on this planet. We follow certain rules, take on roles, and have different beliefs that shape how we play.    In this unique episode, we’ll explore the idea that we actually have a choice when it comes to the "game" we play.    So, what’s the difference between playing the "human game" with its restrictive rules and playing the "spiritual/cosmic game"?   The human game leads to struggle, while the cosmic game recognizes our infinite abilities to create, heal, and manifest.   Most people play the limiting human game that they are born into and never question the rules.   The cosmic game taps into our divine eternal nature beyond the 3D physical reality. Identifying when you've slipped into playing the human game is the first step to realigning with your cosmic consciousness.   I share how we can shift out of the toxic human game and into the expansive cosmic game through developing mantras and habits of mind. As we cover that together, I provide examples of mantras to repeat when struggling with fear, doubt, or other low vibrational emotions.   Mantras help disrupt negative thought patterns and reconnect you to your highest self. Focus on the "always fine" cosmic perspective rather than human drama. You are a creator - if you made it, you can unmake it.   The more we balance the cosmic and human games, the more empowered, peaceful, and purposeful our lives become. Be mindful of when you are playing the limiting human game and use mantras and a higher perspective to shift back into your divine power.   Transformational Takeaway:   Life is a game - but you get to make the rules. Choose the cosmic game and unlock your infinite potential. Shift your perspective and change your world. How might your life change if you created your own rules?   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/293   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 292: Are you doing the tango of life backwards?

Ep 292: Are you doing the tango of life backwards?

Are You Doing the Tango of Life Backwards? In this episode, I explore the idea that life is like a dance with the universe. Many people are not "tangoing" with life and the universe in the right way to get the results they want.    We often think the universe "has our back" and will give us what we want. But, the truth is the universe reflects us back to ourselves.   The universe doesn't test you; it mirrors you. Your external experience reflects your inner consciousness and vibration.   To change your life, you must take 100% responsibility for your emotional state and vibration. Taking "responsibility" means actively causing something to happen.    If you haven't achieved what you want in life, it's because you haven't taken full ownership of making it happen.   You must manage your thinking and feelings to emit the frequency that attracts what you desire.   Trying to force your desired reality often backfires. Allow what is while holding the vision for what you want.   Fighting life lowers your vibration and brings more of what you're fighting against. Acceptance and non-resistance are key.   Transformational Takeaway:   When we resist "what is," we lower our vibration and attract more of what we don't want. How can you allow the present moment and release the struggle? What higher vision for your life can you connect to that elevates your frequency? How can you tango with life in a new way that serves your growth and evolution?   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/292   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 291: Why Your Brain Stops You From Taking Action And Creating A Better Life

Ep 291: Why Your Brain Stops You From Taking Action And Creating A Better Life

In this enlightening episode, I discuss why our brains often sabotage us from taking action and making positive changes in our lives. We'll explore insights into the psychological barriers that hold us back and practical tips for breaking through these mental blocks.   While we may consciously want to improve our lives, our subconscious minds and ingrained habits resist change. This is due to the older, survival-based part of our brains.   To create change, we must operate in alignment with how our brains are wired - by transforming our subconscious beliefs.   Progress requires action. But action often involves discomfort, fear, and anxiety. We must push through these feelings to get unstuck. Staying in our comfort zone leads to stagnation.   Decide on a new path, and don't worry about if the actions are messy. Perfect action often never happens.   We must trust ourselves to follow through, not just trust external advice. Focus on trusting your ability to course correct, not on the outcome. Do your due diligence, then take action. You can't over-learn everything.   What is holding you back from creating the life you want? Is it truly a lack of time, money, or skill - or is it the protective mechanisms of your own mind?   Transformational Takeaway:   Ponder the possibility that your subconscious beliefs and ingrained habits are resisting the very change you consciously seek - then ask yourself, what small action can you take today to push past your comfort zone and into progress?   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/291   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 290: [INTERVIEW] From Victim To Victor - Overcoming Limiting Belief

Ep 290: [INTERVIEW] From Victim To Victor - Overcoming Limiting Belief

Let's be honest - we've all been victims at some point in our lives. We get burned out, blame others for our struggles, and complain that the world is out to get us. Today, I want to introduce you to someone who turned the challenges in her life into the stepping stones for success.   In this episode, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Nicole Wehn, a remarkable business coach from Germany who specializes in helping female entrepreneurs build their personal brands. Nicole's journey is a testament to the incredible power of transformation, as she shifted from a victim mentality to wholeheartedly embracing ownership of her life.   Like many of us, there was a time when Nicole was trapped in a cycle of burnout, constant complaints, and pointing fingers at everyone but herself. But then, something extraordinary happened. She made the courageous decision to take 100% RESPONSIBILITY for where she was in life.    Nicole discovered that her victim mentality was sapping her energy and leading to constant burnout. She bravely worked through her fears of judgment, allowing her to build deeper connections in her business and marriage.   She realized that by hiding her true self, she was actually preventing others from growing. By embracing vulnerability, she was able to strengthen her confidence, which, in turn, enabled her to set healthy boundaries with others. Nicole also transformed her approach to parenting, teaching her children self-love and the importance of following their hearts.   But perhaps one of the most significant shifts was in her relationship with money. She started seeing money as something that FLOWS from the universe. Instead of chasing metrics and numbers, she focused on genuinely being of service to others.   This change in mindset had an incredible impact on her business, doubling her revenue from 100k to 500k.   Nicole's story serves as a powerful reminder that, regardless of where you find yourself today, you possess the power to rewrite your life's narrative and pave the way for a brighter, more purposeful future.   Transformational Takeaway: By embracing vulnerability, we can strengthen even our closest relationships. When we focus on serving others with our unique gifts, we gain the power to manifest abundance and success. What would it look like for you to give up blame and embrace personal responsibility? How might being vulnerable deepen and strengthen your connections with those around you?   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/290   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 289: [INTERVIEW] The Power of Self-Love - Reinventing Your Life

Ep 289: [INTERVIEW] The Power of Self-Love - Reinventing Your Life

Have you ever felt the sting of relationships unraveling? I know that pain is all too familiar for so many. My heartfelt talk with a former student gets real about overcoming struggles in marriage and life. With support from people who understand, you can transform and write a new story, as she did. Her experience emphasizes the power of self-love and surrendering control illusions.    In this powerful and revealing conversation, I speak with former student Felicia Fishback about overcoming major struggles in her relationships, and marriage, as well as finding her true self and purpose. She shares vulnerably about the bombshell moment when her husband said he was no longer attracted to her, the abandonment wounds from her childhood, and her journey to rebuild her confidence and self-love.   Felicia was introduced to Jim's podcast by fellow student Justina, who said it would be transformational. She had no money at the time, but saw the immense value and joined the 12-pay program. She knew it would change her financial situation.   She had tried many personal development methods before, but they never changed her underlying context - her unconscious core identity.   After 4 years of marriage, Felicia's husband suddenly said he was no longer attracted to her. This crushed her self-esteem. Abandonment wounds from childhood were triggered. She tried to salvage the marriage but it was over.   The experience forced her to truly surrender control and work through deep pain.   Leaning on her TCP community, Felicia worked on rebuilding her self-love and confidence. She discovered a new enjoyment of alone time and her independence; becoming a hypnotherapist and coach aligned her with her purpose of guiding others through transformation. She credits the TCP work for saving her life and changing her family.   Transformational Takeaway:   Though life may knock us down, we each hold the power to rise up, learn, and grow. With self-love as our foundation and community as our strength, we can turn hardship into wisdom and write new chapters filled with confidence and purpose. The darkness of betrayal cannot overcome the light within us all.   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/289   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 288: [INTERVIEW] Transforming Your Identity To Create The Life That You Desire.

Ep 288: [INTERVIEW] Transforming Your Identity To Create The Life That You Desire.

Feeling weighed down by expectations and identities that don't fit? If so, listen closely because this is the podcast for you! Even if you don’t know where to start, this episode should get you going on the right track.   In this podcast (EP288), I interview a former TCP (Transformational Coaching Program) student, Jason, about the evolution of self and finding peace by letting go of limiting identities. He shares his personal journey of transformation, including moving from LA to Sedona and going through two divorces. Along the way, he learned to separate his sense of self from his roles and circumstantial outcomes.    He reveals that though his work provided well financially, he felt a lot of pressure and stress due to having his identity tied to being a good provider. He stayed in an unfulfilling marriage longer than he wanted because he feared the financial loss of divorce. Can you relate to feeling trapped by the identities and expectations imposed on you? Unfortunately, a lot of us do. So, what did Jason decide to change?   A pivotal change happened for Jason when he began focusing on “ways of being” rather than chasing circumstantial outcomes. He describes the transformative power of living from a place of inner peace, love, and gratitude rather than seeking validation through money, relationships and possessions. He emphasizes being in the present moment rather than needing a particular future.   True spirituality cultivates a sense of connection to all, Jason shares. He gives examples like feeling gratitude washing dishes or seeing mosquitoes as bringing medicine rather than annoyance. By honoring all of life rather than just your own desires, you experience the abundance of needing nothing.    Transformational Takeaway:   Real transformation comes from shifting your inner identity and way of being rather than chasing circumstantial changes. When you live with authentic connection, you discover that needing nothing is having everything.    VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/288   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 287: [INTERVIEW] Going from a Fragmented and Wounded Self to Being Whole & Happy

Ep 287: [INTERVIEW] Going from a Fragmented and Wounded Self to Being Whole & Happy

Are you one of those people who has created a lot of success and abundance but you're still unhappy despite having a great life? If so, you are going to love this episode. Even if you are still trying to create everything you want and desire in life, you'll find great inspiration in this week's podcast.   In this episode, I speak with an amazing former TCP (Transformational Coaching Program) student, Dr. Alex, about her journey of personal transformation. We discuss Alex's challenges in medical school and her career and how she overcame them to find her true purpose.    Alex shares about her training as an anesthesiologist and pain management specialist. Along the way, she expands on branching into functional and integrative medicine. As I stated in the episode, she has an impressive educational background:   Trained anesthesiologist specializing in interventional pain management  Works in functional and integrative medicine Attended prestigious institutions like the University of Chicago Medical School   And, despite her outward success, Alex felt unfulfilled and miserable. She discusses creating a "checklist quicksand" and facades to please others. This led to feeling inauthentic and a painful existential crisis:   Outwardly successful but inwardly unhappy Tried to construct the perfect life by society's standards Resulted in painful fragmentation You found success but not happiness? and existential crisis   Ever felt like you're living your life trying to please others at the expense of yourself? Alex was that way also and she describes the anguish she felt when her facade collapsed and her suppressed self emerged. This catalyzed her transformation as she committed to living authentically, guided by her heart and purposes.    Alex expressed that her experience working with me in TCP significantly aided her personal growth and transformation. She initially sought coaching to enhance her business, but in the process, she underwent a personal transformation. Through coaching, she found a nurturing environment that allowed her to explore her true self authentically. Alex firmly believes in the importance of investing in coaching for genuine transformation.    Dr. Alex's experience illustrates how even outward success can ring hollow without inner purpose and wholeness. Her story offers hope that it's never too late to shed limiting beliefs and live authentically. The key is being willing to courageously face oneself and commit to inner transformation.   Transformational Takeaway:   We chase external success thinking it will make us happy, only to end up spiritually bankrupt. Like Dr. Alex, we can awaken to our wholeness by shedding expectations and reconnecting with our authentic selves. Ep 286: [INTERVIEW] From A Life Upside Down - To A Life Transformation Right Side Up

Ep 286: [INTERVIEW] From A Life Upside Down - To A Life Transformation Right Side Up

Ever feel like life throws you a curveball that completely knocks you off your feet? You're trucking along just fine when - bam! - everything falls apart. It's devastating like your life is unraveling at the seams. We've all been there, right?   So what do you do when faced with total upheaval? Do you cling to the past? Or find the courage to step into the unknown future unfolding before you? (HINT: If you cling to your past, nothing changes for you.)   I recently spoke with Eric Gewiss, who chose the bold path of reinvention when life turned upside down. His story of growth through adversity shows we all have the power to recreate ourselves anew - again and again.   But it takes guts...are you willing to let go and trust in your own power?   Trauma and Loss:   Over just 18 months, Eric faced overwhelming loss - a divorce after nearly 20 years of marriage, getting fired, selling his home, and giving away nearly all his possessions. And then, open heart surgery out of the blue. Talk about a lot, right? Wow!    Everything familiar collapsed. Eric felt "lost" and like a "victim" to his circumstances. He tried clinging to the past but found only more suffering. Ever been there?    How often have you found yourself in that boat, you know, holding on when it's time to let go?   Rediscovering Authentic Self:   Eric realized he had to take back his power. He tapped into tools like meditation and journaling to rewrite his old stories and habits.   As he puts it: "I take full responsibility for my thoughts and actions that no longer serve me...I release them."   By surrendering his attachment to the past self, Eric discovered freedom in the present. He moved from victimhood to the empowered creator of his new life.   How could you benefit from letting go of old stories holding you back?    The Courage to Grow:   Eric's journey of reinvention continues, but he now feels guided by purpose, not pain. He inspires us to release assumptions of who we are and to courageously grow into our best selves.   As Eric says, "The only way out is through." Even when your path ahead is unclear, you must trust the unfolding.    Eric's story proves, again and again, that we can choose to let go and move forward. Are you ready to boldly walk your own path? If so, it's time to let go of what has been holding you back, especially your fears. Listen to this week's episode and let Eric's story inspire you.    Transformational Takeaway:   Letting go takes courage, but it allows your highest self to lead the way so you can create the life of your dreams.  VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/286   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 285: INTERVIEW: Overcoming Adversity And Living An Authentic Life

Ep 285: INTERVIEW: Overcoming Adversity And Living An Authentic Life

In this eye-opening episode, I sit down with Amy Schutte, a marketing and messaging coach for entrepreneurs, about her transformational experience in Jim’s coaching program. In 2020, as the pandemic hit, she was seeking personal growth and tools to manage the chaos when she found Jim’s program. Though Amy considered herself a responsible person in the past, the program taught her an expanded meaning of responsibility - taking responsibility for her thoughts, stories, interpretations, and her role in co-creating her reality. This shift in mentality was fundamental and empowering.   Internally, she learned to release ego, fear, and self-limitations. First, as she evolved internally, the external changes in her business, money, and relationships began to gain traction and stability. Her business grew tenfold as her identity leveled up to match her desired outcomes. She became a peaceful, loving parent, seeing her young kids as souls on their own journey rather than trying to control them. She also transformed a difficult relationship with her father by setting healthy boundaries, releasing guilt, and choosing to “let people go lovingly.”   Amy emphasizes that investing in a supportive community and expert guidance, rather than just free content, is what enabled her accelerated transformation. The program’s combination of practical tools, subconscious reprogramming, and “ancient wisdom” creates powerful shifts at a core; identity level. This then radiates out; opening life up to new possibilities. For entrepreneurs especially; Amy highlights the need to grow yourself before you can grow your business. Personal evolution precedes external expansion.   Through her findings, Amy advises implementing the principle of reciprocity by openly giving value without expectation. This has brought her abundant opportunities and an expanded capacity for service. When you move from scarcity to genuinely giving and receiving, you increase your ability to love, create, and be of benefit to the world.   Transformational Takeaway: Identify your self-limitations, eliminate fear, and ego, and allow yourself to give value without expectation. What are you willing to let go of today? Ep 284: INTERVIEW: Having A Vision and Overcoming Adversity in Business and Life

Ep 284: INTERVIEW: Having A Vision and Overcoming Adversity in Business and Life

In this inspiring episode, I chat with Adrian Massey, an entrepreneur from England who was previously a student in my Transformation Coaching Program (TCP). We discussed his journey as an entrepreneur, including the challenges he faced starting his business, how he overcame obstacles, and where he is today.   He first connected with me because he wanted to start a food business but was struggling to gain traction. Adrian was driven by his purpose - to create a nutritious and sustainable product that makes life easier for busy people and families, but was instantly met with adversity. Shortly after starting TCP, he partnered with a large company to produce and distribute his product. However, issues arose with manufacturing and quality control, forcing him to end the partnership and shut down operations after investing significant time and money.   This left him feeling desperate and with few resources to continue pursuing his business. However, he credits the mindset tools he learned in TCP for giving him the strength to persevere. He realized he needed to trust himself more and operate from a place of possibility rather than scarcity. He also realized that his desperation was hindering him, and he needed commitment, not desperation, to succeed.   Adrian decided to pivot his business model and raised investment capital to restart production on his own. He overcame additional adversities like COVID-19 and supply chain challenges but successfully launched his product in UK (United Kingdom) supermarkets. His drinks are now outselling major brands.   Throughout his journey, Adrian stayed motivated by his purpose. Having said that, I emphasized in the episode that his focus on creating value for others rather than getting rich is why he persisted. He agreed, noting that money alone doesn't drive great entrepreneurs.   Transformational takeaway: What limiting beliefs might be holding you back from fully pursuing your biggest vision? How can you flip the script and change those 'limiting' beliefs into 'productive' and 'empowering' beliefs?   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/284   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 283: INTERVIEW: Overcoming Limiting Beliefs and Unlocking Your Power

Ep 283: INTERVIEW: Overcoming Limiting Beliefs and Unlocking Your Power

In this uplifting episode, I chat with a student of mine, Vicky Stewart, in Australia. Vicky used her coaching with me for her own personal transformation, which you'll hear about, and also to help her son eliminate his need for a wheelchair much earlier than doctors predicted. In our time together, we discuss unlocking human potential to heal, shifting mindsets, and accepting 100% responsibility for our life circumstances.    We talk about her son's devastating diagnosis. Vicky's 4-year-old son, Vincent, was diagnosed with Perthes Disease, a rare hip condition. Doctors informed her that her son would need to be in a wheelchair for two years, and he was out of his wheelchair 16 months earlier than doctors predicted. This diagnosis was very hard on her family, and you'll hear how her son, with her help, was out of his wheelchair much faster than doctors thought.   So, how did she do this, all the while amazing his doctors? Easy, she did not solely rely on her son's medical prognosis. She sought alternative solutions to help him heal.    She explored spiritual and energy healing options to help Vincent, including reiki and subconscious reprogramming. And this is normal for my students; most are very open-minded and forward-thinking, and they focus heavily on spirituality and continued personal growth, development, and transformation. So...what did Vicky do to help her son? She taught Vincent mindset techniques like imagining games to increase blood flow and healing, and she learned this in The Transformational Coaching Program (TCP).    "We speak our lives into existence" is something I greatly emphasize in TCP, and Vicky credits shifting her own beliefs and language about Vincent's condition. In our time together, she shares how the concept of 100% responsibility for our lives has completely transformed her life. She also talks about how she transformed her career, leaving her hospital job to coach patients on integrating mindset with medicine. Vicky has a Ph.D. in physical therapy.   The bigger message in this episode is that it demonstrates that we have the incredible power to overcome adversity and unlock our potential by shifting our internal mindsets and beliefs. As Vicky says and I teach people, "We are 100% responsible for creating the life we want. With the right tools and perspective, we can break through limiting stories to achieve wellness, fulfillment, and abundance." Anything else is a victim mentality.    Transformational Takeaway:  When we shift from limiting beliefs to empowering ones, we can defy limitations, transcend 'reality,' and consciously create miracles in our lives.   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/283   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 282: Your Choice: Happiness Or Attachment?

Ep 282: Your Choice: Happiness Or Attachment?

Do you want to be happy in life, or would you rather stay attached to all the things that bring unhappiness into your life? In this week's episode, I dive into the concept of attachment, why we attach to others and things, and how to start leaving the attachments behind you.    We must first recognize and accept that our greatest source of unhappiness is attachment. When we get attached to ideas, outcomes, possessions, etc., we suffer when those things don't happen the way we expect. We let external things like money, health, and relationships drive our internal happiness. But true happiness comes from within. We can be happy or unhappy based on our thinking. Happiness is an inside job.   To let go of attachment, we must first develop awareness. Awareness comes through observing ourselves and allowing what is. You must observe how you feel when you don't get the outcomes you want. Realize these feelings are just illusions created by your mind.    Attachment stems from your lack of awareness, and you must observe yourself to understand why you do what you do.   I talk about far more and explain further, but the key to happiness lies in letting go of your attachments to people, places, and things. By developing awareness through observation and allowing what is, you can release your grip on the outcomes and ideals you cling to...and this is the start of releasing the attachments that keep you trapped and unhappy.    Transformational takeaway: What you don't have in life is a reflection of what you are attached to. You are attached to your lack of trust in yourself. If you did trust in yourself, what would you attempt to do in your life?   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/282   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 281: Whose Purpose Are You Living?

Ep 281: Whose Purpose Are You Living?

In this episode of the Transform Your Life podcast, I talk about the importance of living your own purpose in life rather than conforming to the expectations and ideals of others. I talk about how we can get stuck in careers, relationships, and situations that don't align with our true desires because we seek the approval of our parents, partners, and society. I ask you to explore whether you are truly living a purposeful, fulfilling life on your own terms or living your life for others.   As I ask the last question, I think back to the 1991 movie, The Dead Poet's Society, and I think about the movie character named Neil. He wanted to pursue acting and loved it, but his stern father wanted him to go to Harvard Medical School. Neil hated the idea of medical school and found it soul-crushing, but he agreed. You'll have to watch the movie for the story's conclusion, but it's not uncommon for people to deny their own hopes, wishes, wants, and dreams and instead live their lives to please their parents.   Often times cultural and familial pressures guide people down a path that doesn't fulfill them, and they live decades misaligned from their own purpose while trying to please others. So, it's important to ask whether you are living your own purpose or someone else's.   Another purpose-robbing action that people often get into is seeking validation from others. This is a surefire way to live an unfulfilled life. For example, a friend of mine was constantly motivated by a desire for his father's approval, and that led him down an obsessive path of constantly trying to prove himself. This behavior disconnects you from your higher self and obscures your true purpose. You can't create an authentic life while dependent on external validation.   I have found that the key to living your purpose is surrendering to your destiny and innate talents. This involves getting quiet, listening to your intuition, and taking aligned action. We must focus on the importance of being grateful and on contribution rather than achievement.   Here are four key points you may want to keep in mind:  Surrender to your innate talents and destiny. Listen to your intuition and take aligned action. Express gratitude and focus on contributing. Achievements will naturally follow purposeful contributions.   You must examine whether you are living someone else's purpose or your own. If you are not thrilled by how you spend your days, you are likely conforming to others' expectations. I challenge you to get creative, listen within, and take steps each day to live your own purpose.    Transformational takeaway: When you are living your purpose, you are contributing your talents to activities that light you up, and you will experience true joy and fulfillment. Your key is being brave enough to live life on your own terms. Just do it.    VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/281   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 280: History, Humanity, and Spiritual Ego.

Ep 280: History, Humanity, and Spiritual Ego.

In this episode, we'll explore how to transform our lives from the inside out, and we'll be discussing how to align with cosmic cycles, how you can stay connected to your higher source, and how to make an impact on our world.   First and foremost, we are conscious beings. In that consciousness and awareness of our being, we'll find our greatest power. As simple as it sounds, we must become conscious of being conscious.   When you start becoming conscious of being conscious, this can help you to dramatically transform your life. In this episode, I talked extensively about how we form our lives, the source we all come from, and how we lose awareness of who/what we really are along the way.   We become immersed in the planetary social fabric and lose touch with our higher function of mind.   I go on to discuss how you can align with cosmic cycles and how the Mayan 13-moon calendar can help you to stay connected to the cosmic cycles. I explore how to stay connected to our higher source and how you can use the cosmic cycles to create positive change in your life.   We wrap up with how to make an impact in our communities and how to use our lives to make a difference in the world. I also explore how you can stay connected to your higher source and use your life to create positive change within your community.   Transformational Takeaway: Becoming conscious of being conscious is the path to transforming your life from the inside out. By re-establishing your connection with your higher source and aligning with cosmic cycles, you can create positive change in your life and make a greater impact on the world.   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/280   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 279: Who & What Were You Before You Got Here?

Ep 279: Who & What Were You Before You Got Here?

In this episode, I explore the divine mind and our true nature. I discuss the concept of life as a continuity, the power of the divine mind, and how to invest our experience and time on this planet.   We start with the premise and question of: “Who we are and what we are before we came to planet Earth.” One of the biggest illusions of humans is that we are a body with a mind and that’s backwards. We are first and foremost a mind with a body and your mind survives without your body but your body cannot exist without your mind. And, I don’t mean your individual 3D ego mind but your divine mind. Without that, the body is dead energy.    I have talked about it before and I talk more about death in this episode and we dive into how fear is an illusion and how we must let go of the 3D world and think from a higher level of consciousness.   We talk about how repeating the same patterns in our lives prevents us from learning our lessons and we also explore how to invest our experience and time on this planet, and how to live in the present moment. We discuss how the divine mind doesn't hate, and how our body is simply a receiver of the divine mind.   And, finally, my bigger point of the episode is that your true nature is your essence, not your body. And, I talk about how living only in the body is living in the smallest fraction of who we are, and how our brain transduces life.    Conclusion: In this episode, we explored the divine mind and our true nature. We discussed how life is a continuity, the power of the divine mind, and how to invest our experience and time on this planet. We also discussed how fear of death is an illusion, how we must let go of the 3D world and think from a higher level of consciousness, and how our body is simply a receiver of the divine mind. I hope this episode has helped you gain a better understanding of the divine mind and your true nature.   Transformational Takeaway: Our true nature is our being, not our physical body. We are primarily a mind with a body, and our mind survives without the body. The body is merely a receiver of the divine mind. To live fully, we must let go of the illusion of fear, transcend the limitations of the 3D world, and think from a higher level of consciousness. Investing our time and experience on this planet involves understanding the power of the divine mind and living in the present moment.   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/279   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 278: Number 42 - The Meaning Of Life

Ep 278: Number 42 - The Meaning Of Life

This episode is intended to get you thinking at a higher and different level.   "What's the meaning of life?" is an age-old question. In this episode, I take a different approach than most. We tend to personalize the meaning of life and make it relevant only to our experience, but it's so much more complex and bigger than that.   In this episode, I talk about how the meaning of life is one we have learned to personalize and make it all about our 3D lives and commercialism. Society has conditioned us to answer the question about the meaning of life in one way, but the meaning of life is also much simpler and deeper.   The Elusive Quest for Meaning - Our journey begins by acknowledging the diverse interpretations of the meaning of life. Our guests highlight the individualized nature of this existential quest, as different people perceive and define meaning in their unique ways. We explore how society often conditions us to seek meaning externally when the true source resides within ourselves.   Unveiling the Inward Journey - Diving deeper into the topic, we uncover a powerful truth: the meaning of life lies within. Through an intriguing parable, we are reminded of the simplicity of being and how the incessant search for external meaning often obscures our understanding. Our guests encourage us to shift our focus inward and explore the transformative potential of introspection.   The Illusion of 3D Meaning - We confront the illusion that traps many individuals throughout their lives—the fixation on superficial meanings. Our speakers shed light on how societal expectations and conditioning contribute to this illusion, limiting our growth and fulfillment. They challenge us to break free from this mindset and embrace a larger, more fulfilling meaning of life.   Engaging the Soul's Perspective - Imagine conversing with your soul over a cup of coffee, asking it about the meaning of life. We invite you to ponder this intriguing question. Our guests explore the idea that living soulfully and purposefully aligns us with a higher meaning—one that transcends the mundane and connects us to a more magical, joyful, and peaceful existence.   Transformational Takeaway: Remember, your purpose is simply to exist, to be alive on this planet. The meanings you assign to life shape your experiences, and by consciously choosing empowering interpretations, you can transform your reality. Embrace authenticity, let go of societal conditioning, and find joy in the present moment. Ep 277: Encore: NEW Introduction - Using Your Intention and Will to Create

Ep 277: Encore: NEW Introduction - Using Your Intention and Will to Create

This is an ENCORE episode and I’m running those for a few weeks. Each one I picked is a pivotal aspect of life.    Intention is the fabric of the universe and nothing is created without intention. We use intention all day long, every day, and yet most of us misuse it to create the lives we don’t want. It’s vital that you learn and master this universal concept.    In this episode, I delve into the power of “Intention and Will” to transform your life from the inside out. This entire episode is about how your thoughts shape your reality and how you can consciously create the experiences you desire, even amidst the chaos of the world.   Using Intention and Will In the first segment of this episode I explore the importance of using your intention and will to manifest your desires. I emphasize the significance of setting clear intentions and harnessing your willpower. When you understand the role of intention and will, you can begin to transform your life and create the experiences you want.   What’s vital to explore and understand is your consciousness and the physical world. When you understand that you then begin to understand there is a relationship and the relationship of your internal thoughts and external circumstances are 100% related.    I also talk about scientific evidence that demonstrates how your thoughts and intentions can impact your physical world. Additionally, I talk about the energetic influence you have on others through your thoughts, emphasizing the importance of conscious awareness in shaping your reality.   What I’m going to say sounds a bit like Scientology and it’s not. Heck, I don’t even know what the tenets of that “religion” are. However, what I want to say is this: You are a multi-dimensional being. You are both mind and body and yet most of us live only through the body and that is 1% of who and what we are.    In addition to talking about INTENTION, I talk about using your WILL and this is not your “willpower.” I’m talking about harnessing the life force in you. Harnessing and directing it is called “Using your WILL.”    Every thought you have creates your reality and it is imperative that you  evaluate where you focus your thoughts and the strength of your thought projection. By shifting from fear-based thinking to creating value and abundance in people's lives, you can align yourself with a higher vibration and attract the positive outcomes you desire.    In the final part of this episode, I share the significance of Intention and Will in the healing process providing you want or need physical healing. I share a technique that I learned from don Xavier to aid in my own healing in 2020.    Transformational Takeaway: Remember that you have the innate ability to influence your external world through your thoughts and intentions. By setting clear intentions, using your will, and embracing holistic practices, you can transform your life from within and inspire others along the way.   Stay aligned with your higher self, continue to evolve, grow, and help others on their spiritual journeys.   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/277   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 274: Reaction And Change - Are You Giving Away Or Retaining Your Power?

Ep 274: Reaction And Change - Are You Giving Away Or Retaining Your Power?

Recently, I was talking to my brother-in-law, the shaman, don Xavier, yesterday. It was just a general conversation though some things came up that we have talked about before. None of it was pointed at me but we talked about a few concepts that just may be able to have an impact in your life.    Two things in particular. 1) Reactivity and 2) Nothing changes. When it comes to not changing I don’t mean it in the way you may think. In the way we talked about it here, I’m sure most listeners will find it valuable and will be able to see themselves in it.   In my 13-week transformation program, TCP, we spend a week on the concept of reaction. Neurologically, a reaction can be related to either a survival defense or has simply become a brain-based habit. Regardless, how often do you get yourself in trouble when you react? How often do you react and wish you could take back your reaction? How often do you react and cause fights in your relationships?   No matter your reactivity, when it happens in response to someone else’s behavior, you’re out of balance.   Next, we talked about what we allow to change us and I don’t mean overall, in the grand scheme of our life but I mean in the course of daily living.   When we let things change us, we give our power to the external world. The bigger caveat/message here is that it’s vital that we find impeccability in our life and that is a loss of ego, letting go of attachment, letting go of past history, and balancing the higher part of us with the lower part of us.   When we learn to create impeccability, the key is not to let things change us from that, no matter what happens in life.   Transformational Takeaway: When we react, we change based on external circumstances and we let these circumstances pull us out of our peace of mind and balance.   Transformational Takeaway: The world needs those of us who desire to make it a better place. The world offers you opportunities; what you do with them is your choice.   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/274   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 273: Making A Bigger Impact In The World

Ep 273: Making A Bigger Impact In The World

I was taught long ago that one of the most powerful ways we can make a difference in the world is through business. After all, business touches every single life on the planet in some way or another.   In this episode, I delve into the world of entrepreneurship and the opportunities it offers to create a life of impact. Ep 272: Navigating Business and Life with Clarity and Authenticity With James Wedmore

You’re going to love this episode if you’re an entrepreneur or business person. Even if you’re not, there are takeaways here for you.   In this episode, I visit with my great friend, James Wedmore. James has also worked with my brother-in-law, don Xavier the Shaman, and has for about three years. And, he just created an 8-figure-per-year business as an entrepreneur. James is widely regarded as one of the most well-known online business-building experts in the world.   We talk about business but not like in the last episode, we dive deep into the theme of trust, exploring its importance in business and personal relationships. We discuss our experiences with navigating through a sea of takers and toxic individuals while also striving for success.   James shares his revelations about the true intentions of people surrounding him and how he learned to protect himself and maintain authenticity. This is a big lesson for a lot of people. We must be aware that there are many people in life who want to take from us and weaken us.   We explore the concept of money and how many people make it “their master” in life and we talk about the need to prioritize simplicity and balance in life.   Join us as discuss the transformational journey of shedding fear and embracing personal growth.   Entrepreneur or not, this is a thought-provoking episode. We navigate the complexities of trust, fear, and personal growth and we encourage you to be discerning when it comes to relationships, setting boundaries, and prioritizing your well-being. Ep 271: Business & Spirituality with James Wedmore

Ep 271: Business & Spirituality with James Wedmore

In this episode, James Wedmore and I reveal several nuggets of pure gold as we discuss many topics from personal branding, to crafting an irresistible offer, overcoming the fear of selling, and the power of shifting identity in business.   Each segment of the podcast is packed with actionable advice. However, I want to showcase one of the most profound segments here…   Imagine a scene from a Marvel movie where the superhero discovers their true powers for the first time. The sheer wonder and delight of that moment ripples across their face as they discover all the things they thought were impossible are now easy for them to do.    Well, in the world of business, shifting identity is like unlocking your superpowers. James Wedmore shares his own transformative experience, highlighting how changing his identity revolutionized his business journey.    The secret lies in embracing the role you play and recognizing its impact on your results.  You might BE the CEO, but the question is, are you BEing a CEO?    If you constantly find yourself jumping on tasks that “need to get done” rather than finding talented people to own those efforts, then most likely little of your focus is on the growth of your business.   Plain and simple, a CEO should be focused on leadership and growth, NOT doing data entry or figuring out what image goes best with a social media post.      Success in business is about leverage. Fully assuming your role as CEO is about relinquishing control. It’s about leveraging talented people, resources, and tools to enable your business's growth.   Now, whether you are a business owner or not, think about how this applies to your life. Are you constantly trying to “do it all” yourself and not reaching out when you could use help in your personal growth?    In the various roles we play in our lives, mother, father, daughter, son, student, employee… heck, even pet owner. How are you showing up? Do you embrace and fully assume your role? Do you want to?   Whether you’re an entrepreneur, soon-to-be entrepreneur, or happy employee, we should all ask these questions of ourselves. And if you want to learn how we answered them I can promise you that you’ll gain valuable insight listening in on my conversation with James.   Transformational Takeaway: To receive success, you must BE success. Our actions are only as good as our BEing. Shift your identity to BEing that version of yourself that receives all the things you desire. From that BEing your DOing will change and become powerful.   Entrepreneur or soon-to-be entrepreneur? Join James Wedmore's "Rise of the Digital CEO" 3-part training! Ep 270: Encore: Money, Money, Money, with James Wedmore

Ep 270: Encore: Money, Money, Money, with James Wedmore

I’m doing an encore episode on money this week because so many people, maybe even you, are struggling in this challenging economy.  I talk a lot about money in different places, not because I like talking about money but because the more money you attract the better quality of life you will have and the more people you can help.  This is an encore episode of me chatting with my good friend, James Wedmore. James is a world-recognized leader in the field of internet marketing and online business building. And, over the years he has helped 100s of 1000s of people around the world and attracted tens of millions of dollars back into his own life.  We talked for over an hour about things that I know will be helpful to you. And, this episode is not just about money, it’s about life and service.  One of the most important concepts you’ll ever hear me talk about is AYNI and we talk about it in this episode. James also works with my brother-in-law, the shaman, don Xavier. So, he also lives from AYNI and service.  This concept alone can bring you anything and everything you want in life yet most of us don’t live in this place. A place of service.  Candidly, I know when we “listen” to things we often do it with a distracted mind and we “half listen.” If you’re a business person or entrepreneur listening several times is a must but it’s not just about listening, it’s about absorbing the truth in this episode and executing it in your own life and business.  When you do that, dramatic changes will happen very quickly in your business.  Also, James has helped me tremendously in my own business and i want him to help you too. I trust his business expertise 100%. Candidly, he’s a marketing “geek” and he’s damn good at it - one of the best!  He has created this short quiz that will help you create better clarity in your own business. It will only take you a few minutes and you’ll probably get some great insight into how you show up in your business and things that need to happen to do better.    This quiz will help your business grow:  Take the quiz right now by clicking here: CEO Quiz https://www.jimfortin.com/ceoquiz   Enjoy the quiz, more content with James is coming, and make it a great day.    Transformational Takeaway: The true essence of the game is practicing true AYNI, which is serving from an open heart. If you're not receiving something in your life, it's because you haven't first given something. If you witness things vanishing from your life, that's a reflection of yourself.   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/270   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 269: How To Surrender and Let Go of Fear?

Ep 269: How To Surrender and Let Go of Fear?

I don’t know about you but there have been times in my life where I have been sick and tired. I’ve been irritable, miserable, and lost.    There have been times, and it has been many years ago when I have been very unhappy with my external circumstances.    As I look back years ago, I now know that I was so unhappy because I was trying to control, force or make things happen.    Many of us try to control our external world and circumstances instead of managing our internal world which directly affects our external world. Many if not most of us work backwards.... we try to work from the outside in and that’s as successful as trying to snow ski uphill… it does not work.    Long ago I realized that life was so hard for me because I was trying to control things and I was not happy when things did not go the way I planned, wanted or expected.    I would literally fight, curse and complain about not getting the results I wanted when I was the one creating the lack of results. One day I realized, it dawned on me… I heard someone say, “Just surrender and all that will go away.” The last thing I wanted to do in life is surrender because I thought it would make me look weak. My tenacity and stubbornness was my downfall and it brought a great deal of unhappiness into my life.    I didn’t understand what it meant to surrender. And, when I finally understood the meaning of the concept of surrender my life started to change and that’s what I want to share with you in this episode.    If you want more peace and joy in your life then start living from what I share with you here.   Transformational Takeaway:  When you surrender you let go of fear and when you let go of fear you surrender. Ponder that. Your fears, not including survival fears, are attachment driven, and when we attach we try to control an outcome that is not surrendered and we make ourselves miserable through our attachments.   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/269   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 268: When will you be good enough?

Ep 268: When will you be good enough?

“I’m not good enough” is one of the stories I hear more than any other.   This single story alone is debilitating and toxic and I talk about how I used to feel the same and how I overcame it.   The thing about being “good enough,” it has to be measured against something. There must be criteria to measure it and the truth is, there is absolutely no way to measure it.   For example...if someone said, “You’re the best in the world at what you do,” there is almost no way to verify that. After all, if you are the best, then it means the “best” and it means they’d have to have an experience with every single other person in the world who does what you do to verify. It’s not possible.   More than anything, we only feel not good enough when we compare ourselves to others.   And, we only feel not good enough when we are judging ourselves and making value judgments about others and ourselves.   In this episode I talk about how I pulled myself out of this toxic vortex and how I freed myself.   More than anything, to feel good enough we MUST accept ourselves. We must accept how and what we are...whatever that is.   The interesting thing is, we can only evaluate being “good enough” if we are comparing ourselves to other people and that also is not impossible as we can compare ourselves to what we can see of and about them but we cannot see what’s going on in their head and internal life.   Transformational Takeaway: Being “good enough" has nothing to do with your external world. The way to be good enough is to accept yourself as you are, right now.   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/268   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 267: Encore Episode - Updated: The Only Place To Find Your Highest Potential

Ep 267: Encore Episode - Updated: The Only Place To Find Your Highest Potential

If you listened to episode number six you heard me talk about your highest potential. Your highest potential is not what most people think, it’s far more. And, it’s not external, it’s internal. This is an encore episode with an addition. The encore episode was recorded in 2019 and last week I found an old text from my brother-in-law, the shaman, don Xavier sent me about silence. In episode six I mentioned that Rumi is quoted as saying, “The quieter the mind the more you can hear.” I do talk about quieting the mind in this episode and most of us think and I did for decades, that silence is stopping the mind, but it’s not that. In this episode I put an entirely new spin on “silence of mind,” and this episode approaches silence of mind from a new direction. For me, when I learned this, there was so much peace in this for me. This updated episode shares with you, verbatim, the text that don Xavier sent me and he shared with me the four fundamental things for silence of the mind. It can take us many years to master what I share in this episode but at least it’s more tangible and measurable than, “Silence your mind.” Enjoy. Ep 266: The Importance of Self Management

Ep 266: The Importance of Self Management

Lao Tzu said, “Mighty is he who has power over others and mightier still is he who has power over himself.”   I’m not sure if you have recognized this or not but all your unhappiness comes from your self-mismanagement. Yep, all your unhappiness comes from mismanaging yourself and specifically, mismanaging your thoughts and emotions. What I find in life is that as long as things are going well we tend to be happy and the more challenging life becomes, the unhappier we become. What I talk about in this episode is things to come in the world and managing ourselves and how to do that. As I have been told by a shaman, the world is going to become more chaotic over the next several years. More fear, more worry, unstable economies, climate change, political instabilities and all the other challenges going on in our chaotic world. We have to understand that when our emotions and feelings become unstable because of the external world, that just creates more instability in your world - both internally and externally. Do we let these instabilities drain us or do we get stronger? Do we live in fear and worry or do we live in peace of mind? The key to the life you want is balance but it’s not the kind of balance you’re used to thinking about, it’s balancing the higher part of yourself with the lower part of yourself. I weave a lot into this episode but the overall gist is this. VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/266   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 265: What is the objective for your life?

Ep 265: What is the objective for your life?

Have you ever really thought about it in that way? I mean, have you ever thought, “What is the objective for my life? ”Many years ago, one of my mentors, a shaman, said to me, “The most important thing I ever did was I decided what I was to do with my life before I crossed over.” When he said, “crossed over,” he means what most people call - die. Have you thought about that, what are you supposed to do with your life before you die? This episode goes in a few different directions, and specifically, if focuses on your Attention and Intention. Your intention is your objectives for what you want to happen and where you hold your attention determines your intention. This is why it’s vital that you focus on mastering your attention. Intention is the most abundant force in the universe and yet most of our lives are not determined by conscious attention and intention but from subconscious default. This is why we don’t have what we want in life. This Is why we do without. This is why we struggle. In this episode I explore two aspects of intention and attention. Those Aspects are both macro and micro intentions. Consciously intending what you want in life is a super power, yet most of us leave it used and beyond that, even untapped. I keep it simple and in this episode I talk about utilizing your intention and creating the life of your desires.   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/265   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 264: Five Ways You Burn Your Energy And Peace Of Mind

Ep 264: Five Ways You Burn Your Energy And Peace Of Mind

My brother-in-law, Don Xavier, once said to me, “You can’t do a whole lot without peace of mind.” Your peace of mind determines your quality of life yet we give our power away and squander it by living in fear and worry.   In this episode, I talk about five ways you may squander your power and peace of mind. When you squander your power you give up your ability to manifest, heal, and tap into Divine wisdom, you give up your peace of mind.   These poisons rob you of your power and it’s vital that you become aware of how these play out in your life. Your objective should be to conserve and build your power, not deplete it.   And, when you start mastering these concepts you start to build your power.   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/264   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 260: Your Identity Causes Your Biggest Problems And Keeps You Trapped

When I ask people, “What is your biggest obstacle,” most people say, “me.” Yet, they don’t know what that “me” is. It’s not your physical body that causes the lack in your life. It’s your subconscious identity.    I've said it a bazillion times, “You’ll not have it on the outside until you first have it on the inside.” You must take action on this if you want to create a better life. You have to BE more before you can ever have more in life, and that pertains to all areas of your life.    VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/260   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 258: What is my message?

Every single thing you do is a “message” as to who you are and how you think.   And, who you think you are is your identity.   In my opinion, the most powerful message you can share and live is a message of service to others.   If you lived your life in service to others, what would be the identity of that person, meaning your identity?   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/258   Special LIVE coaching call for just my podcast listeners. Ep 255: Do You Value Your Value?

Ep 255: Do You Value Your Value?

Our lives match our internal identity, and we can never outperform our subconscious identity. We get in life what we create, and what we create comes from the degree to which we value our value.   When you do not value yourself, your work, and your gifts, you will sell yourself short and live as a “just enougher.”    When we value our value, that can change our life.   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/255   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 254: The Patterns Of Your Life

Ep 254: The Patterns Of Your Life

We often agonize over “who we are.” But, it’s really an easy question to answer. When you look at your behaviors, that is exactly who you are when it comes to 3D identity.   Your behavior is like fingerprints. Your behavior is yours and yours alone.    If you want change in your life, you have to observe what you do because that’s a reflection of who you are.    VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/254   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 253: What Makes You Matter?

Ep 253: What Makes You Matter?

What makes you matter? What lights you up? What is special and unique about you? You will hear people say to "find your why." Finding your why is all left brain, it’s analytical and non-emotional. And, when you find what makes you matter, that is when you wake up and come alive.   When you know what makes you matter you can serve at your highest level and that brings huge fulfillment in life.   VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/253   LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 251: You, Me And Be in 2023

Ep 251: You, Me And Be in 2023

I often tell my students in my transformational coaching program, your identity is your destiny.    The truth is this…what you have in your life is a 100% reflection of your subconscious identity and most people work backward….they try to create more, better, and different things in life without ever fully realizing they must change at the identity level FIRST.    VISIT THE SHOW NOTES HERE FOR MORE: https://www.jimfortin.com/251   LIKED THE EPISODE?
