Spotify For Podcasters Joins With Riverside.fm and Removes Some Native Features

The Daily Dave - Podcasting Tips - Spotify For Podcasters Joins With Riverside.fm and Removes Some Native Features Podcasting has evolved quite a bit since its early days. As a format, it is increasingly becoming more visual and interactive, with more people around the world creating, listening, and engaging with the medium than ever before. ‍ And while the core vision of Spotify for Podcasters has remained — to make podcasting so brilliantly simple that anyone, anywhere, can share their voice with the world — like podcasting itself, we’ve expanded our purpose over time. Today we are focused on helping you reach larger, more global audiences and giving you the tools to develop meaningful, authentic connections with those fans. ‍ To that end, we have a couple of important updates to share as they relate to some of our features on Spotify for Podcasters. ‍ First, we are excited to share that we are deepening our partnership with Riverside to provide a native, best-in-class creation experience right inside Spotify for Podcasters. Riverside is an excellent platform that offers powerful, AI-driven recording and editing tools used by creators of all sizes. We first launched our partnership in 2022, and since then, we have seen top creators all around the world leverage their advanced tools to enhance their podcast production. Riverside offers a podcast creation feature set similar to what exists in Spotify for Podcasters today, with the meaningful addition of new video and AI tools to help creators take their work even further. ‍ With our new integration — which launches today — you can record and edit your audio and video podcasts with Riverside right inside the Spotify for Podcasters web product. You can bring in guests for remote interviews, make precise transcript-based edits to the recording, and use their comprehensive suite of AI tools to further clean up and enhance your content before publishing seamlessly through Spotify for Podcasters. Here’s what it looks like: https://youtu.be/bnnxq3EmUZc Alongside the rollout of this integration and to better optimize the needs of creators today, we are refocusing our attention — and resources — from some of our legacy tooling to the next generation of podcast innovations. As part of that shift, we are discontinuing our web and mobile native creation tools, including recording and editing tools as well as our “Music + Talk” format (an experimental feature that allowed podcasters to include full licensed music tracks in their podcast episodes on Spotify), beginning this June. ‍ As always, you can upload finished audio and video podcasts to Spotify for Podcasters for distribution, management, and monetization, and all of your existing published episodes will remain published and unchanged. For more information, we encourage you to check out our help center here. ‍ We’re continually listening, learning, and iterating—all with the aim of making a greater impact on you and your show. Whether you’re an established podcaster or just starting out, we’re focused on building the platform you need to find success. Keep an eye out for more tools and integrations from us that make it easier for you to be discovered, connect with your biggest fans, and make a living off your craft. ‍ https://podcasters.spotify.com/resources/learn/create/updates-to-spotify-for-podcasters ___ https://howtopodcast.ca/

E207 - Foster enduring intimacy that captivates and retains an audience

E207 - Foster enduring intimacy that captivates and retains an audience

Episode 207 - Foster enduring intimacy that captivates and retains an audience Fostering enduring intimacy that captivates and retains an audience is paramount. Here are a few guiding principles I'd like to impart: Authenticity: Strive to be genuine. Avoid contrived attempts to win over listeners. Authenticity resonates deeply and invites engagement. It's the cornerstone of connection, although not the sole rule to prioritize. Preparation: While spontaneity can inject freshness, thorough preparation is essential. Respect your audience's investment by delivering your best. Carefully plan your narrative arcs, questions, and wording to ensure coherence and depth. Embrace Discovery: Invite your audience into your thought process. Engage them by revealing your journey, allowing for unexpected turns and insights. Balance preparation with flexibility to foster genuine exploration together. Enhance Yourself: Be true to yourself, but elevate your presentation. When the recording starts, shed the rules and simply shine. Your podcast persona should be a refined, more compelling version of yourself—sharp, witty, and engaging. Edit Ruthlessly: Editing is paramount. It refines your content, ensuring it feels natural and cohesive. Trim distractions, refine jokes, and eliminate verbal tics. Editing isn't deceitful; it's a service to your audience, sharpening your podcast's unique identity. In summary, embark on your podcasting journey with confidence. Strive for brilliance, warmth, and humor while holding yourself to high standards. Enjoy the process, and your audience will too. ___ https://howtopodcast.ca/

E206 - CO-HOST - Paloma Bartschi - Building a Membership, AI Tools, SpeakPipe and Buy Me A Coffee

E206 - CO-HOST - Paloma Bartschi - Building a Membership, AI Tools, SpeakPipe and Buy Me A Coffee

Episode 206 - CO-HOST - Paloma Bartschi - Building a Membership, AI Tools, SpeakPipe and Buy Me A Coffee Born in the year of the horse Paloma felt drawn to these great creatures from an early age. At the age of five, she took her first riding lesson. She looks back now to over 40 years of riding experience of which she was blessed to share 21 years with her Islandic Horse companion Ljomi. The animals have always been her friends and until her teens they were connected by a very special bond. As she grew older, however, she lost part of that connection like most of us do through the distractions of life. For awhile she didn’t know how to get it back. Her professional career was taking her in a completely different direction from her natural gifts. Then in the summer of 1998 she had a key experience which led her back to the animals and nature. That was when a horse talked to her. Paloma started studying to become an animal communicator and did not stop there. She studied different ways of interacting with nature and learned from ancient wisdom and how our ancestors were connected with animals, plants and all of creation. During the past 14 years Paloma has talked to thousands of animals and has helped hundreds of people have a better connection to their animal companions. Today she is exclusively committed to spreading the animals’ messages, teaching animal communication, giving individual consultations of animal communication and also doing life energy consultations. She is happy and grateful to be able to share information with people to help them create a continuous joyful and harmonious bond with their animal companions and nature. E205 - Solo Podcasting , Navigating Loneliness, Mental Health for Solo Podcasters

Episode 205 - Solo Podcasting , Navigating Loneliness, Mental Health for Solo Podcasters Acknowledging the Solo Podcaster's Unique Mental Health Challenges: Isolation and Loneliness: Solo podcasters often spend hours recording, editing, and promoting episodes alone, which can lead to feelings of isolation and loneliness. Pressure to Perform: Without co-hosts or a team to share responsibilities, solo podcasters may feel the weight of the entire production process, leading to burnout and stress. Imposter Syndrome: Being the sole voice of a podcast can exacerbate imposter syndrome, as solo hosts may constantly doubt their abilities or feel inadequate compared to others in the industry. Strategies for Maintaining Mental Wellness: Build a Support Network: Actively seek out communities of fellow podcasters or join online forums where you can connect with others who understand the unique challenges of solo podcasting. Having a support network can provide validation, encouragement, and practical advice. Schedule Breaks and Boundaries: Set clear boundaries around your podcasting schedule to prevent burnout. Incorporate regular breaks during recording and editing sessions, and prioritize self-care activities outside of podcasting to recharge your mental batteries. Practice Self-Compassion: Combat imposter syndrome by practicing self-compassion and acknowledging your accomplishments. Remind yourself that it's normal to feel uncertain or anxious at times, and focus on the value you provide to your audience rather than comparing yourself to others. Fostering Sustainable Podcasting Practices: Diversify Your Content: Inject variety into your podcast by incorporating guest interviews, listener Q&A sessions, or collaborative episodes with other creators. Not only does this break up the monotony of solo recording, but it also expands your network and brings fresh perspectives to your audience. Invest in Personal Growth: Dedicate time to honing your podcasting skills through learning opportunities such as workshops, courses, or mentorship programs. Investing in your personal growth not only improves the quality of your content but also boosts your confidence as a solo podcaster. Regularly Evaluate and Adjust: Periodically assess your podcasting process and mental well-being. Pay attention to signs of burnout or declining mental health, and be willing to adjust your approach as needed. Remember that prioritizing your mental wellness ultimately leads to a more sustainable and fulfilling podcasting journey. Summary Practical Takeaway: As a solo podcaster navigating the complexities of mental health, remember that prioritizing your well-being is integral to the longevity and authenticity of your podcast. Cultivate a support network, implement strategies for maintaining mental wellness, and foster sustainable podcasting practices to ensure that your solo journey resonates with authenticity and purpose. By taking care of your mind, you not only enhance your own podcasting experience but also create content that genuinely connects with your audience. ___ https://www.meetup.com/how-to-podcast-community/ https://howtopodcast.ca/

Use platforms like Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook not just to promote episodes but also to interact with your listeners. Respond to comments, ask for feedback, and share behind-the-scenes glimpses of your podcasting process. By actively engaging with your audience on social media, you humanize your podcast and foster a sense of community where listeners feel valued and connected. Interactive Content and Listener Involvement: Break the barrier between you and your audience by incorporating interactive elements into your solo podcast. Whether it's through Q&A segments, listener-submitted stories or questions, or even live streaming sessions, give your audience opportunities to actively participate in your podcasting journey. By inviting listener involvement, you not only deepen the connection with your audience but also make them feel like integral contributors to the content you produce, thereby strengthening the sense of community around your podcast. Building a Dedicated Community Through Consistent Communication: Consistency is key to building a loyal and engaged audience for your solo podcast. Establish regular communication channels with your listeners, whether through weekly newsletters, monthly updates, or exclusive bonus content for subscribers. Supporting Detail: Break down your script into segments such as introduction, main content, and conclusion. Use hooks, anecdotes, or intriguing questions in the introduction to capture your audience's attention. The body should have a logical flow, with each segment seamlessly transitioning to the next. E201 - The Freedom of Solo Podcasting - Unleashing Your Voice

E201 - The Freedom of Solo Podcasting - Unleashing Your Voice

Episode 201 - The Freedom of Solo Podcasting - Unleashing Your Voice - Complete Creative Control: Solo podcasting empowers you with complete creative control over your content. Unlike collaborative efforts where compromises might be necessary, solo podcasting allows you to shape your narrative, choose your topics, and control the overall direction of your show. This independence fosters a unique and authentic expression of your voice, ensuring that your podcast is a genuine reflection of your thoughts, ideas, and style. - Flexibility in Scheduling and Content Creation: One of the key advantages of solo podcasting is the unparalleled flexibility it provides in both scheduling and content creation. You are not bound by the coordination of multiple schedules or dependent on others for your podcast's progress. This flexibility enables you to adapt to your own rhythm, experiment with different formats, and even respond to current events promptly. As a solo podcaster, you have the freedom to pivot and evolve your content organically without external constraints, making your podcast a dynamic and personal endeavor. - Deep Connection with Your Audience: Solo podcasting fosters a more intimate connection between you and your audience. Listeners often seek a personal and authentic experience, and solo podcasting allows you to create a direct and unfiltered connection with your audience. Sharing personal anecdotes, reflections, and insights can make your podcast more relatable and build a stronger bond with your listeners. This deep connection can lead to a dedicated audience who resonates with your individual voice and perspective. Practical Takeaway: As a solo podcaster, embrace the freedom to experiment with various formats, styles, and content. Use the flexibility in scheduling to adapt to your own pace and rhythm. However, remember that consistency is key; maintain a regular posting schedule to keep your audience engaged. Additionally, prioritize building a personal connection with your audience by sharing authentic stories and insights. Consider incorporating listener feedback and engagement to make your podcasting odyssey a shared experience. ___ https://howtopodcast.ca/

E200 - The Two Types of People - How To Demonstrate Confidence as a Podcaster

E200 - The Two Types of People - How To Demonstrate Confidence as a Podcaster

Episode 200 - The Two Types of People - How To Demonstrate Confidence as a Podcaster Dave does an exaggerated, self-indulgent intro to shed light on podcasters that puff themselves up in their podcast - a little tongue and cheek, but it seems in podcasting that some podcasters are way to inwardly focused at the expense of those that they come in contact with - what type of person are you when you enter the room, join a conversation or host your show? Be a more confident podcaster by making the choice to move from a "Here I Am" person to a "There You Are" person. Self-aggrandizing is acting or intending to enhance one's power, wealth, position, or reputation - this elevation of oneself over others repels and does not compell your audience to lean in to you as a person or to your podcast. We need to create a space that invites others in - make your show about others and everyone will benefit! ___ https://howtopodcast.ca/

E199 - CO-HOST - Jen Jones Donatelli - Find Your Groove as a Multipotentialite and Identifying Greatness in Others Are you someone who loves to do #allthethings? If so, you’ll find your happy place here at Creative Groove! We offer classes, community, and coaching around writing, creativity, freelance success, and the Artist’s Way. Pull up a chair (or magic carpet)—all are welcome here. Jen is the founder of Creative Groove and what Emilie Wapnick would call a multi-potentialite. I often joke that I’ve had nine professional lives, having worked in various capacities in entertainment, journalism, event planning, education, and as a solopreneur. The common threads that tie my eclectic career path together? Creativity and storytelling. I’m also a Diet Coke devotee, twin mama, and California girl-turned-Clevelander who’s passionate about helping others get their groove back…and I’m so glad you’re here! Here’s how we define “creative groove:” a state of flow in which anything feels possible. Over time, it’s easy to become burnt out, disconnected, or just blah—thanks to the demands of the daily grind or a gradual misalignment with our values and goals. At Creative Groove, we serve as what Artist’s Way author Julia Cameron would call a “creative chiropractor” to help you get back in alignment and reignite your spark. Our goal is to empower you to find your version of flow (and have fun along the way)! Dave finds out that he just might be a "multipotentialite" - those of us with many interests, many jobs over a lifetime, and many interlocking potentials. https://creativegroove.com/ ___ https://howtopodcast.ca/

E198 - Podcasting Success: Embrace Your Multipotentialite Superpower

EPISODE 198 - Podcasting Success: Embrace Your Multipotentialite Superpower Welcome to another episode of "How to Podcast Series," the go-to podcast for podcasters navigating the exciting journey of starting and growing their shows. Today we've got something special for all you budding podcasters out there. Ever felt like you have many interests and creative pursuits, making it challenging to answer the question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Well, you might just be a multipotentialite, and guess what? It could be your superpower. We're delving into the world of multipotentialites with insights from Emilie Wapnick, an award-winning author and community builder. Emilie coined the term to describe individuals like themself with diverse passions and creative pursuits. So, if you've ever felt a bit lost or misunderstood in a world that favors specialization, you're not alone. What do the legendary figures - Leonardo da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Maya Angelou, and Richard Branson shared this unique trait. Now, let's simplify the concept and explore the clues that might indicate you're a multipotentialite. Clue 1: Non-Linear Career Path Do you find yourself switching between different roles, companies, and industries that may seem unrelated? Multipotentialites have diverse career paths, applying transferable skill sets across disciplines. Now, think about how your podcasting journey can embrace this diversity. Clue 2: Idea Generation Are you constantly coming up with new ideas, perhaps more than you can handle? For multipotentialites, generating ideas is a passion, and they excel at it. Imagine infusing this into your podcast, keeping the content fresh and engaging for your audience. Let's ask ourselves three crucial questions based on what we've covered: Do you often find yourself drawn to various topics and struggle to stick to just one for your podcast? Are you someone who thrives on generating ideas and has a list of potential podcast projects? Can you envision your podcast evolving dynamically, embracing change and offering a variety of content to your audience? These questions serve as a compass to navigate your unique strengths in the podcasting landscape. Remember, being a multipotentialite is not a limitation but a strength. Embrace it, and let your podcast shine! ___ https://howtopodcast.ca/

Like many, Brad struggled with living paycheck-to-paycheck, debt, and the constant hamster wheel of never-ending payments for much of his adult life. After losing his home to foreclosure and his first marriage ending in 2012, Brad decided enough was enough and went on a journey to become debt-free. After 4-5 years of hard work, he paid off all his debt and has been debt-free for over ten years outside of his mortgage. Many people struggle with money and debt. Brad is a single and dedicated father to his two kids, Noah, and Avery. Brad has encountered many obstacles on his journey. In 2018, his wife Sarah gave birth to their daughter Avery. Avery was born with a brain injury and was later diagnosed with Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy and Cerebral Palsy. Being debt-free allowed him and his wife to put all of their efforts into getting the care that Avery needed. Thankfully, today, Avery is thriving and living a normal life, and Brad contributes her progress to the time they've spent on Avery's therapy and care since birth. In March 2023, Brad tragically lost his wife, Sarah, to a battle with mental illness and suicide. About This is just a place holder page as I start building this site. Sorry, no cliché gif of a road construction sign, but as I was typing that, it occurred to me that might be a good first episode! “Have you ever wondered why the road construction sign for new websites got old?” – Just kidding! I wouldn’t suffer myself to develop such a thing let alone all of you to read and or listen to it! Have I mentioned that this is just a place holder? Yes – so I’ll quit rambling on here and get busy on other things. https://tonofquestions.com/ ___ https://howtopodcast.ca/

E193 - Brian Teague - At The Table Podcast, How Often To Release An Episode, Interview Tips

E193 - Brian Teague - At The Table Podcast, How Often To Release An Episode, Interview Tips

EPISODE 193 - Brian Teague - At The Table Podcast, How Often To Release An Episode, Interview Tips I am a husband and father with a passion for family, and growing the kingdom by sharing my life and experiences and investing in others. From growing up to walking on at Oregon to marriage and raising kids, I want to share the things that life has taught me in order to help others.  Brian Teague is a husband, father, and former educator who fell in love with Houston when he moved here with his wife 7 years ago. As a graduate of the University of Oregon and a football alumnus, he left school and tried his hand at a few different industries, but nothing seemed to be a good fit. That’s when he decided to use his experience on the field and start coaching. Coaching soon turned into applying for Teach for America to become a teacher. Brian and Chandra decided that if he got into TFA they would go wherever they were sent because it was only for 2 years.  years later, our 2 children were born in Texas, and with roots growing deeper each year they fell in love with the culture, diversity, and love that Houston offered. After spending 7 years in the classroom teaching Brian started to feel called to something different. Having a passion for family and wanting to serve a city and community that has given him and his family a home for good he decided it was time to give that love back. We Love HTX Inc. was founded in January of 2023 and is now his full-time labor of love. With plans to launch services and start to help families all over the city this Fall, we can’t wait to see what this will grow into and are committed to serving families from any background and with any situation in order to help them find the resources necessary to make it through whatever life throws their way. Houston has given us a community that we love so much and we want to help other families find their place in their community in order to help it grow and thrive. https://www.brianjustasteague.com/ ___ https://howtopodcast.ca/

E189 - CO-HOST - Fatima Bey - The Mind Shifter - Be Everywhere, Be Real and Be Different

EPISODE 189 - CO-HOST - Fatima Bey - The Mind Shifter - Be Everywhere, Be Real and Be Different About our guest co-host - Being a MindShift Coach is something I have been doing my whole life. It is only in recent years that I decided to give it a name and make a living from it. You see, none of us were born to work just to pay bills. On the contrary, you were born with a purpose and you should make a living doing it. As The MindShifter, I am doing just that. My journey of struggle, self-discovery and building has equipped me to help others. I have always had a lot of personality, but what was hidden underneath that was a girl with very low self-esteem and no confidence. I had no clue who I really was or the power and purpose I was born with. I can now stand bold, strong, and with confidence. My relationship with God is a large part of that because I know exactly who I am and what I was put here on earth to do! It’s really your thinking that decides your failure or success, more than means or opportunity. I know this because I am living it. Since I began my journey as The MindShifter I became a writer for Blessings Magazine, a radio personality with a segment called The MindShifter on Blessings Radio out of Albany, NY, have been a guest speaker at various events and schools, started a YouTube channel and started the MindShift Power Podcast. I was also honored to win 2022 Best Of Albany in the category of life coach. I am also an award winning dual entrepreneur. I own MyAbishai where I am a Master Seamstress, Wedding Gown Designer, and Sewing Teacher. If you would like to learn more or have any particular questions, my contact information is below. Please be sure to gain from some of my free life teachings by subscribing to my YouTube channel linked below and follow me on social media. Also check out the Media/Awards page. Thanks for reading this until the end! MindShift Power Podcast is for teens, about teens, and anyone who works with teens. Many of the guests will be teens from all over the US and Canada. We will discuss issues that involve teens. Solutions start with conversations. Real conversations can not happen unless we are honest. For this reason guests will be able to speak their minds without the chains of extreme political correctness, something desperately needed in today's society. You will hear the real raw truths of where the minds of our youths are today. You will also hear from those who teach, work with, or create programs for youth of any kind. We will talk about the problems teens are dealing with but also discuss solutions. The main goals of this podcast is to bridge the large existing gap between teens and the adults who are trying to create solutions for them and for teens to hear what other teens are thinking or going through and realize that they are not alone. If you are a teen and want to know what other teens are really going through, are really thinking, or you want to come up with a solution for your town or situation, this is for you. If you are an adult who works with teens and want to better what you are doing, this is for you. If you are a parent who wants to understand the mind of the modern teen to better help you deal with yours, this is for you. https://www.fatimabey.com/ ___ https://howtopodcast.ca/

Asking for a 5 Star Review is Simply A Plea To Stroke Our Podcast Ego

Asking for a 5 Star Review is Simply A Plea To Stroke Our Podcast Ego

The Daily Dave - Podcasting Tips - Asking for a 5 Star Review is Simply A Plea to Stroke Our Podcast Ego If we could agree for a moment that if 5 stars is the best rating possible ranking that we can give for a podcast or a podcast episode, does that also then imply that what we are listening to is absolutely perfect - no room for improvement? I fear that requesting a 5 star review is not a realistic ask of our community - I propose instead, that we ask for a realistic review and constructive feedback rather than a perfect score. I want each episode to strive towards perfection but I want to also be realistic that I know that I can continue to improve on all aspects of my podast - so to that end, I don't feel that any of my 8 different podcasts demand a 5 star rating from you - I would much rather have a conversation with you virtually, via speak pipe or by email on how this podcast and how I as a host can serve you better - that means more to me than a simple 5 stars. Is it realistic to ask your audience to stroke your podcasting ego with a 5 star review for everything that you release into the world? Really? I think we need to relook at our ask of those that listen to our show - and that is why I do not end my podast with a plea for your review and rating. Just a thought for you to ponder - agree or disagree, I would absoluetly love to meet and chat with you more over at my website https://howtopodcast.ca/

I want to challenge you to take the entire month off of obsessing over your analytics and stats - that you do not look at, review, study and view your stats - at all! Nothing, for the month of January. Having the right audience is more important than just having a large audience. Instead of chaising your stats, I want you to chase your listener. EPISODE 178 - CO-Host - Sabrina Hammonds - Learn How to be a better guest and How an Agency Can Help You Get On More Podcasts More about our guest - I absolutely love hearing about what God is doing in the lives of people. And even more than that, I am passionate about helping others fulfill their purpose and expand their reach. Hello…I’m Sabrina I am a wife and mother of 4 and I just recently gained a beautiful new daughter. I chose to step away from working full time as a teacher in order to be home more with my family. As someone who has walked through a lot in my life, I believe we all have our own transformation story and when shared, it can provide hope and encouragement to others. My journey to podcast booking began with one prayer.Robyn was a woman who I went to church with. A woman that I only knew from a distance, so I wasn’t sure why the Lord had told me to pray for her. As I would pray, the Lord began to give me a supernatural love for her. My relationship with Robyn grew as I sent her my love and prayers. From there, the Lord said to start praying for her business. Through my prayers and our relationship, I learned that she had an incredible testimony and message that I believed others needed to hear. I approached Robyn about helping her share her testimony and she quickly responded by saying that the lord had already told her she was supposed to speak to many. From there, the Lord has sent more women that I’m honored to partner with and their stories and journey’s continue to grow. How exciting it would be to add your story to that journey! https://kcpodcastagency.com/___https://livingthenextchapter.com/podcast produced by: https://truemediasolutions.ca/

BONUS - Thank you for being there for our family and for my Mom

BONUS - Thank you for being there for our family and for my MomOver the past 10 - 12 days you have shown up for our family in a very meaningful way.  Past guests, podcast friends and listeners alike have been sending toughts, prayers, love and encouraging words that I have been sharing with my family and with my Mom.  It has been a very difficult few days, but I wanted to release a short epiosde to thank all of you for your kindness. When I started a podcast I wasn't totally prepared for the impact of shared voices via the internet - the connections made, the new friendships and the great conversations that have happened with and without a microphone.  For those that have been following these past few days thank you, and for those that might be here for the very first time, thank you for pressing play.A podcast can be entertainment, a diversion or company - but for me as a podcast host, it has become deeper and far richer by having you as apart of this community.  I am looking forward to more amazing conversations in the future, and Mom if you can still hear my podcast wherever you are, I hope you know that we are always thinking of you.On behalf of my Mom Sharon, our immediate and extended family - to you, thank you.Dave___Sharon Winona 1945 - 2023 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Sharon, December 2 at Niagara Health St. Catharines site, aged 78.  Sharon was born in Temiskaming Shores to Gibson and Muriel Lowe on May 3, 1945. The family would like to sincerely thank the Critical Care team at Niagara Health for their excellent care and compassion.

E173 - CO-HOST - Elizabeth Burrows - Authentic Expressions - The Life Edit Project Podcast

EPISODE 173 - CO-HOST - Elizabeth Burrows - Authentic Expressions - The Life Edit Project Podcast Elizabeth C. Burrows ...and I'm a recovering busy-body and overachiever. I spent the first three decades of my life doing all the things just to prove that I could. That worked well enough until I became a mom. Then suddenly, I realized I wasn't superwoman and everything changed. I was tired and overwhelmed, and I felt completely inadequate all the time. I almost buckled under the pressure. And the worst part is that I was needlessly applying this pressure to myself. So I did the unthinkable and started looking for help. And you know where I found the answers I needed? They were already within me. Mindset coaching and thought work helped me find lasting solutions to the problems that I had been creating for myself for so long. I found a way to sort through the noise to focus on what mattered most to me. Now, my life is set up to revolve around my own priorities, instead of the ones prescribed to me by others. I found freedom from trying to be all things to all people. And in freeing myself, I unleashed my greatest potential. About the Life Edit Project I created the Life Edit Project as platform to share the personal development tools and resources that I love with others on a similar journey. Eventually, I became a life coach to help people get better results, more quickly. Over the years, I have coached more than 130 individuals, and reached many more people through group coaching, training sessions, workshops, and public speaking stages. In 2023, I launched the Life Edit Project Podcast to help busy high-achievers create balance in any area of their lives. The episodes are fun and digestible, with new episodes published each Wednesday. Be sure to subscribe and follow the podcast wherever you like to listen. Be sure to check out the blog for practical tips and ideas to help you make the most of every aspect of your life. And don't miss the free resources on the homepage, designed to help you use habits and rituals to get the most out of your days. When you're ready to take your work even deeper, you can purchase the Authentic Expressions workbook to start or enhance your journaling practice, or purchase a 1:1 coaching package to work directly with me. https://lifeeditproject.com/ ___ Everything you need to start a podcast - https://howtopodcast.ca/ Leave Dave a message - https://www.speakpipe.com/HelloDave Get a podcast review of your show! - https://podcastfeedback.ca/
