Loire Valley Vintner Nicolas Joly is a pioneer in biodynamic farming. He is proprietor of La Coulée de Serrant in Savennières, one of only three single estate appellations in France (the others are Romanée Conti, Burgundy, and Château Grillet, Rhône Valley). Once a monastic vineyards dating to the 12th century, La Coulée de Serrant has been under vine for nearly 900 consecutive vintages.
