The Full Moon is still bright and the night air is crisp, so T is back to share another grizzly werewolf tale with you, this time he's taking a look at a film that he's never understood the hype for, but maybe 20 years later it'll finally make sense Dog Soldiers During a routine nighttime training mission in the Scottish Highlands, a small squad of British soldiers expected to rendezvous with a special ops unit instead find a bloody massacre with a sole survivor. The savage attackers of the special ops team return, and the men are rescued by a zoologist who identifies what hunts them as werewolves. Without transport or communications, the group is forced to retreat to a farmhouse to wait for the full moon to disappear at dawn.

Full Moo Terror is underway and T is starting his journey into Werewolf territory with a look at a brand new one hitting theaters that uses Lycanthropy as a metaphor for abuse in The Beast Within The Beast Within Ten-year-old Willow follows her parents on one of their secret late-night treks to the heart of an ancient forest. After witnessing her father undergo a terrible transformation, she too becomes ensnared by the dark ancestral secret that they've so desperately tried to conceal.

T is getting set to check out a trio of werewolf movies over the next week including The Howling, Dog Soldiers, and The Beast Within, but before he can drop the reviews for those, he's got some thoughts to share about Werewolf movies in general!

T is wrapping up his week long coverage of some of the most memorable monster movies of the 80s, and even though this next film came out in '79, it certainly sets the stage for what was to come in the next decade. Phantasm The residents of a small town have begun dying under strange circumstances, leading young Mike to investigate. After discovering that the Tall Man, the town's mortician, is killing and reanimating the dead as misshapen zombies, Mike seeks help from his older brother, Jody, and local ice cream man Reggie. Working together, they try to lure out and kill the Tall Man, all the while avoiding his minions and a deadly silver sphere.

T has been going back and taking a look at some of the bigger creature feature franchises of the 80s this past week and he's now turning his attention to the first of a franchise that doesn't really hit it's mark especially compared against a lot of the better ones coming out at the same time Ghoulies As a child, Jonathan was almost killed by his father, Malcolm, during a satanic ritual. After being saved and raised by Wolfgang, who has kept him unaware of his background, Jonathan inherits Malcolm's house and moves in with girlfriend Rebecca. During a party, he jokingly performs a ceremony described in one of his father's books on black magic, not realizing he has unleashed small, demonic creatures known as "Ghoulies."

Through 2024, T has been going back and working his way through some of the most classic creature features and their franchises in the 80s. After recently seeing the original Ghoulies for the first time all the way through, T has decided to break down where he thinks the quality really lies between 3 specific franchises: Puppet Master, Critters, and Ghoulies

T is back making his way thru year 3 of the After Dark Horrorfest and while this next one he's watching has a noticeable cast and some similarities to 2023's When Evil Lurks, it's unfortunately a ho hum entry for year 3 of the festival From Within When the citizens of a small evangelical town systematically begin committing suicide, a young girl struggling to reconcile her Christian upbringing with her desire to experience the outside world finds her faith put to the ultimate test.

Louis and Daniel are now well aware of Armand's deception over the years and seek to regain the upper hand as the interview continues, but when the time comes to look back at what ultimately happened with the Vampire troupe, old wounds will reopen and a familiar face will emerge from the shadows.
