He has also worked extensively in Latin America and is the Founder and Director of Cal Western’s Latin American Institute of Law and Justice which is dedicated to training lawyers in Latin America and improving justice systems. Professor Brooks has published extensively on criminal justice issues and is the author of the only legal case book dedicated to the topic of wrongful convictions.
