S9 Ep44: Whose Great Idea Was This?
This week, everyone’s back in the Labyrinth for a packed episode covering the week in pop culture and current events! We recap Halloween’s spooky send-off and dive into the excitement building as the U.S. Presidential election approaches. Steph shares memories of “Devils’ Night” in Detroit, bringing a chilling glimpse into her hometown’s infamous Halloween tradition.
The gang discusses how podcasters and comedians are shaking up the election scene, with Trump making a surprise appearance on The Joe Rogan Podcast. And in a twist that left the internet buzzing, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe had the Madison Square Garden crowd and the rest of the world stunned with his “Island of Trash” joke during a Trump rally.
Turning to the latest in TV, we dive into Episode 6 of The Penguin, speculating on Sofia’s next move now that she’s got Oz’s mom in her sights! With only two episodes left, we’re all wondering what jaw-dropping moments are yet to come.
We also pay tribute to two legends we lost recently: Grateful Dead guitarist Phil Lesh and beloved actress Terri Garr. Steph takes an early exit, but Tim steps in to wrap up the news stories with the guys.
Stay tuned for Views or Snooze? and Staff Picks, where we break down what’s worth watching and what’s better left on the shelf. We’re also reading your YouTube comments from last week—so keep them coming!

S9 Ep37: GOT ANOTHER CONFESSION TO MAKE
The whole gang is back in the Labyrinth this week, and we've got a jam-packed episode full of all the pop culture craziness you need to catch up on!
First up, we're diving into a bizarre claim from the Trump camp involving immigrants in Ohio and, well... the local pets. Plus, we pay tribute to the iconic James Earl Jones, saying goodbye to one of the greatest actors of our time as we reflect on his legendary career as the voice of Darth Vader and so much more.
We also get into the legal drama between Trump, Jack White, and Dave Grohl, who are suing over unauthorized use of their music at Trump rallies. Speaking of Grohl, he's making headlines for some unexpected personal news that we're breaking down.
Next, we explore the new David Chase documentary about The Sopranos—did it hit the mark or miss the boat? Tune in for our thoughts!
Steph's back with the latest news, including a story about Michael Keaton possibly changing his name back and the surprising controversy within Linkin Park surrounding their new female lead singer, who has strong ties to Scientology and controversial beliefs about mental health.
In other music news, Kendrick Lamar is set to perform at the Super Bowl, and there's buzz around Beyoncé calling out the CMA Awards for snubbing her crew.
Don’t miss our classic segments—Views or Snooze? and Staff Picks—where we tell you what’s worth your time in entertainment this week!

Trambles #40 | Dweezil
I had the chance to catch Dweezil Zappa and his insanely talented band re-create tracks from Frank Zappa’s iconic albums Roxy and Elsewhere and Apostrophe(’)—pure magic!
Unfortunately, a missing shuttle bus ruined Gilbert’s Saturday morning.
Plus, I’m sharing my thoughts on the NFL’s opening weekend—big games, crappy games, bad rule changes, and more.
And, I’m joined by Senator Bernie Sanders, previewing another episode of Feel the Bern.

S9 Ep36: BeetleJuice BeetleJuice
This week, it's just the guys holding down the fort while Steph enjoys her birthday vacay, but don't worry, she checks in with us to share some birthday vibes!
We dive deep into one of the fall's most anticipated films—Beetlejuice Beetlejuice! We break down the original cult classic and give you the lowdown on what’s coming in the long-awaited sequel.
Next up, we're talking DragonCon 2024—one of the biggest nerd-fests around! Plus, we celebrate the Clermont Lounge, an Atlanta icon. Tim takes a trip down memory lane, reminiscing about Labor Day weekends of the past, while he and Jeff gear up for Fantasy Football. Dustin, on the other hand? He's got a bone to pick with the whole fantasy thing.
And in a strange twist, we discovered that The Pajama Podcast—hosted by two actors from The Sopranos—has not only snatched one of our past guests but even swiped a joke from Steph’s interview! The nerve!
Tim’s got you covered with this week’s pop culture scoop: Hailey Welch, aka the Hawk Tuah Girl, is launching her own podcast and hitting the million-dollar mark. Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin isn’t too happy with how House of the Dragon is being handled, and we dig into the impact of modern-day internet culture on kids and their perception of relationships. Oh, and did you hear? Comedian Doug Stanhope staged a raid on his own house… during a podcast!

S9 Ep34: Guest: Shaun Raviv of NOBLE Podcast
This week, we’re back in the Labyrinth with all the pop culture news you crave—and we’re excited to have a special guest!
First, we dive into the headline-grabbing interview between Theo Von and Donald Trump, plus an update on the DNC featuring a surprise appearance by George W. Bush. We also shed light on an underreported story: two American astronauts stranded on the International Space Station. What’s the latest on their situation, and when might they return home?
Our guest this week is Shaun Raviv, creator of the #1 true crime podcast in the nation, “Noble,” which investigates the shocking Tri-State Crematory scandal that rocked Georgia in the early 2000s. Shaun, a freelance print and audio journalist based in Atlanta, has written for Wired, The Intercept, BuzzFeed, The Atlantic, and more. Even if you didn’t live in Georgia in 2002, this haunting story has captivated listeners across the country. Join us as we dive deep into Shaun’s riveting investigation and explore the chilling details of the scandal.
After our interview, Steph brings us all the week’s pop culture news, including some updates that might make you rethink your Disney+ subscription. Disney has pulled the plug on The Acolyte after just one season—are Star Wars fans actually relieved? We also hear Michael Keaton’s thoughts on Beetlejuice 2 and the surprising news that Chick-fil-A is venturing into streaming services (we’re just as confused as you are).
This week, we’ve moved a few segments—Views or Snooze? and Staff Picks—to our Patreon-exclusive After Show. If you’re a Patreon member, head over to Patreon.com to catch the bonus content.

Trambles #37 | Radio Tale: American Pie
A short tale about a 96rock bar promotion at a long ago nightclub in Sandy Springs called American pie. What would you do for $1000? I’ll tell you what a couple of people tried to do - including the ones who won $1000. It’s not pretty but it was fun. Come back with me to a different time in radio history, before Janet Jackson’s boob ruined it all. Yeah c’mon.

S9 Ep33: Phish Tales, Hollywood Fails & Olympic Breakdancers
This weekend, we’re back in the Labyrinth with another dive into the pop culture landscape. Tim has returned from his Phish pilgrimage to Bethel, New York, with some stories and notes to share. We also break down the much-talked-about X interview between Trump and Musk. Plus, the new Borderlands movie is tanking at the box office, so we decided to take a look at Hollywood’s biggest movie bombs and share our own favorite stinkers.
Steph’s got all the pop culture news this week, covering everything from the Olympic sensation “Napoleon Vegemite” in the breakdancing competition to the buzz surrounding the Alien: Romulus film opening this weekend. We’re talking Trump getting shade from Celine Dion and unions, why Halle Berry is still a total badass, and why nobody needs an Anthony Bourdain biopic. Meanwhile, Coke’s got a new Oreo with pop rocks, and a giant meth bust disguised as a celery shipment has us asking: coincidence? And don’t miss Casey’s Time Machine as we journey back to 1987.
Of course, we’re bringing back the fan-favorite YouTube Comments segment, where we respond to your feedback with our signature blend of wit and wisdom. And don’t miss "Views or Snooze?"—your guide to what’s worth watching and what’s better left unwatched.

S9 Ep32: Burning Boats, Bridges & Bears
Another weekend back in the Labyrinth with the gang, and we're diving into some wild territory! This week, we’re checking out the new Democratic VP Nominee, Tim Walz, and taking a hard look at Joe Rogan’s latest comedy special, Burn The Boats—which, to be honest, didn’t quite hit the mark.
Ever wondered what Walder Frey thinks of the House of the Dragon season finale? We’ve got his hot take! Steph is also here with all the pop culture news you missed, including RFK Jr.'s bizarre reveal as the "Bear Dropper of Central Park" on Roseanne Barr’s Podcast, the shocking offer an Olympic pole vaulter received to switch gears into the adult industry, and how influencer Aiden Ross gave Trump a Rolex and a Cyber Truck with some pretty intense custom art. Yes, this is really happening in 2024!
In our Podverse Update, we’re asking the burning question: “Is Kill Tony heading to Netflix?” While it sounds cool, it might not be the best idea. Plus, Crack Amico drops another banger, this time targeting Austin!

S9 Ep31: WHAT A WEIRD WEEK
This weekend we are back in the Labyrinth to look back on the week in pop culture, and it was a “banger” as the kids say. We dive into the controversy surrounding the opening of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris and discuss how people will be people when it comes to being offended these days.
Joe Rogan’s new Netflix stand-up special, “Burn The Boats,” is premiering live tonight from his comedy club in Austin, Texas, “The Mothership of Comedy.” It’s his first special in nearly a decade, and we’re curious to see how it turns out. Stay tuned for our reviews next week!
Steph brings us the latest news from the world of entertainment and pop culture. Why are hosts shying away from the Oscars? Kamala Harris had a rally in Atlanta that didn’t resonate with everyone, including some in the rap community. Jeff Portnoy of Barstool Sports gave his first perfect 10.0 to a pizza place in Massachusetts in his popular “One Bite, Everyone Knows The Rules” viral video. With The Boys wrapping up its latest season, we look forward to Season 2 of Gen V to keep the storyline going until The Boys Season 5 in 2026. Plus, Tim and Jeff debate the new reboot of Battlestar Galactica. And RDJ, returns to the MCU but he isn’t Iron Mon, he’s Doctor Doom!
