Small cap wrap: European Lithium a strong mover of the week
Proactive’s Tylah Tully gives another ‘Small Caps Wrap,’ outlining the biggest movers across the ASX small caps sector.
Orthocell Ltd was among the strongest performers, rising nearly 34% to a weekly high of $0.83 before entering a trading halt at $0.81.
The company’s share price surged after it announced a distribution agreement with Device Technologies Asia to exclusively market and distribute its nerve repair product Remplir™ in Singapore.
This marks the product’s first significant international expansion beyond Australia and New Zealand, supported by recent regulatory approval from Singapore’s Health Sciences Authority.
At its AGM, Orthocell Chair Paul Anderson highlighted a 30% revenue growth over the past financial year, with a promising trajectory for continued growth.
European Lithium Ltd increased by 46%, trading at $0.037 by the end of the week.
The company announced the acquisition of the Leinster Lithium Project in Ireland. This project is noted for its consistent high-grade lithium oxide at surface, with grades ranging between 2.5% and 3.5% lithium.
QMines Ltd rose by 23% on Thursday, reaching a weekly high of $0.073 and closing at $0.064.
The increase followed results from its maiden drilling program at the Develin Creek Project.
Key intersections included 26 metres at 1.38% copper, 0.29 g/t gold, 11g/t silver and 1.99% zinc.
Other notable risers included Move Logistics Group Ltd, which added $0.035 to its share price, ending at $0.175.
Errawarra Resources Ltd saw a 50% increase, trading at $0.09 after announcing a joint venture with Falcon Metals.
Element 25 Ltd jumped by 21.6% to a high of $0.31, Nova Minerals Ltd rose by 19.1% to reach $0.25 and Anteris Technologies Ltd was 78 cents, or 8.56%, higher to $9.90.
