MIAMI LOSES 42-38 at Syracuse - Orange Bowl Boys Week 14 Recap Show

Well... that was a terrible way to end the regular season...Toast immediately wants to know why the defense failed to make any defensive adjustments after Syracuse seemed to make all of the adjustments to overcome a 21-point deficit. Roman also reminds everyone that he has been a beeping smoke detector all season about how bad the defense has been and it was ignored and sure enough burned the house down. But we don't want this show to be a pile-on after yesterday's debacle, we also want to look at the overall trajectory of the program after finishing with a 10-2 season. That said, Roman goes OFF as he calls for Lance Guidry to be fired because of how bad the defense has been (especially in the secondary) and there were no signs of improvement.Toast also calls out a few players, because we don't do that on this podcast, but with the regular season over he needs to talk about Jacolby George and the penalty that likely cost Miami the game. And Scoop points out that this was a game we KNEW was going to be a slugfest and what Kyle McCord was going to do, and wasted another Heisman worthy day from Cam Ward who will not win the Heisman because of the offense. So with a look at the ACC Championship Game between SMU and Clemson, we are now SMU fans so that Clemson can have four losses and be out of the Playoff mix... because that's the only thin veil of hope Miami has of making the Playoffs. And if Miami doesn't get in we at least get to see some of our young talent play in a bowl game, unless of course we face Colorado who already said that all their guys will play in their bowl game. But the comparison of Emory Williams versus Cam Ward means that the offense will have to adjust to his style if he is indeed the guy next season. We also talk about Gus Malzhon leaving UCF to become the OC at FSU with play calling responsibilities, much to the shock of everyone on the show. And we entertain the biggest question in the air in South Florida... have we missed on another defensive coordinator? And will we be replacing both coordinators this offseason? Plus we close out the show with a huge debate about Miami's place in the College Football Playoff and what it would take for the Canes to have any hope. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #148: Miami Week 14 Preview at Syracuse - Muddy Up The Back End

It's Hate Week Part Two... because the world of hate coming at the University of Miami this week is just wild. Scoop also gets on an early tirade after Cam Ward missed out as a finalist for the Maxwell Award, as Dillon Gabriel of Oregon made the cut ahead of him along with Travis Hunter and Ashton Jeanty... and he hangs it yet again on the defense. There were also obvious snubs in the Biletnikoff and the Lou Groza Awards, as guys like X and Borregales didn't get a look as finalists.Discussion also breaks out about how the Canes should look at Syracuse OC Jeff Dixon as a replacement if Shannon Dawson decides to move on, largely because of his formations and personnel groupings on offense. And as we look at Syracuse QB Kyle McCord, Roman has high praise for his play, while Toast argues that his time around Ohio State fans has shown him that McCord will crumble under pressure so Miami needs to bring it.As we were taping the show, the new College Football Playoff rankings dropped... with Miami up to #6, SMU up to #9 and Clemson at #12... which means there is a shot that the ACC might be able to pull THREE teams in this new system, which is a wild reality. And this week's Keys to the Game include defensive pressure up front with the front four, running the ball between the guards, Cam Ward spreading the ball around, and involving X in his final week in a Canes uniform. We also jump into some of the craziest college football stories of the week - including North Carolina moving on from Mack Brown, the INSANE end of the Arizona State-BYU game, and another epic Bama meltdown from our man Legend on the Paul Finebaum show. And a wild round of Pick 'Ems round out the week.HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? MIAMI WINS 42-14 vs Wake Forest - Orange Bowl Boys Week 13 Recap Show

That's a 10 WIN SEASON for your Miami Hurricanes!!Scoop reminded us again that, hey, everything's fine if you just weather the first half - or in today's contest, the first quarter. And now it's just one more game, where you have to beat Syracuse on the road, to face off against SMU who punched their ticket to the ACC Championship Game this weekend. And in the case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde... should we now be concerned that the offense didn't look particularly crisp today? And we are well aware that we say this after Cam posted 280 yards and two touchdowns. Roman also gives Mario credit for pounding the run game in the fourth quarter as everyone was in awe of Jordan Lyle.We also take a look around some of the other chaos from this weekend, including losses by Indiana, Colorado, Ole Miss and others, which continues to spin the College Football Playoff Committee in circles as we wait to see how this shakes out. Miami also showed up well on defense against Wake Forest, because one of their two scores was a kick return, so getting off the field with only one score was a big win for them today. The wide receiver room also looks like it will have a lot of turnover looking ahead to next season, and we take a look at some of the young talent that has shown up this year and will likely be a glimpse of what's next for Miami. We also try to figure out where Miami will land in the rankings with all the losses around college football this weekend. And we debate the "SEC strength of schedule" after these SEC teams continue to lose games and still land in the rankings. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #147: Miami Week 13 Preview vs Wake Forest with Roddy Jones - SS Miami Kitty Hawk

It's Wake Forest week! And we are joined by Roddy Jones, who will be calling the Miami game this weekend! We open on Greentree as we try to figure out why Guidry has an "everything is fine" approach after a week where the defense greatly underperformed. Scoop is afraid that the poor play of the defense could cost Cam Ward a Heisman. And Roman is frustrated that after one bad game, Cam was left off Kirk Herbstreit's list entirely.Roddy Jones joins the show to debate the merits of the Heisman and how annoying the race has been this year, and how funny it is that he always seems to join the show after Georgia Tech burns Miami. Roddy was also one of the only guys in the preseason to say Florida State may finish last in the conference while being ranked preseason #10, and sure enough that may end up being the case in a couple of weeks.Roddy also breaks down the adversity of Miami's season and how the pain of mistakes and losses can set the tone for a championship mentality. Roman also picks Roddy's brain about Wake Forest, and how effectively teams have run the ball against them, and Roddy says this is the week that Miami can and should lean on their run game. And a deeper dive into Wake's offensive strategy gets Toast a little uneasy after seeing the defense look so lost the last few weeks.Plus if Miami were to lose the ACC Championship Game to SMU, we try to figure out a road where Miami still goes to the playoff, which means the ACC doing more to tout their tough coaches and equally difficult scheduling. Keys to the Game this week include a dominating win, protecting Cam Ward, defensive improvement at the linebacker spot, running the ball and playing like it's Miami against the world! This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #146: Miami Bye Week Aftermath - The Untouchable Glass Pansy Parade

It's the final bye week of the season, and it comes at a much needed time coming off a loss and it was clear everyone needed a reset. We also get our first look at the College Football Playoff Rankings since Miami lost to Georgia Tech, and Miami comes in at #9 but would still draw a #4 seed as the ACC's top team.We go down to Greentree, which is still littered with the debris of the loss to Georgia Tech, as the national media has made a clear turn against Miami's coaching staff. Roman remains optimistic even though the defense could not hold up against a GT quarterback who could not throw the football. Scoop reiterates his point that the Guidry defense reminds him of watching the Gattis offense, largely because of how visibly confused the defense seems to be. This week's Underdog picks are non-Miami games with the bye week. We're also pleasantly surprised to see Miami offensive linemen receive some accolades this week, especially after Pitt lost to Virginia and reset Miami's fate for the Playoff. And IP Daley shows up to absolutely level the Canes in the wake of the loss and it's nothing short of brutal!! And since IP brought it we're reminded to try and enjoy the last few games of Cam Ward whether he wins the Heisman or not.As we look at the College Football Playoff we debate whether a two-loss ACC team would make it in, and the consensus is that probably won't happen. Which means JD Pickell's take that Miami needed a loss to get focused needs to come to fruition, and Roman believes it. Plus we go around the Wheel of Audio, which includes Pat McAfee baiting LSU fans to curse on live TV with no repercussions, the Utah AD calling out the officiating by accusing the refs of stealing a game from them, the new Saints coach clogging his toilet the first day and the in-flight audio of the Auburn basketball team fight that grounded their team plane. And we work through a huge week of Pick 'ems, with showdowns all across the Top 25.This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy, & Manscaped. Roofing issues? MIAMI LOSES 28-23 at Georgia Tech - Orange Bowl Boys Week 11 Recap Show

Well... that sucked. And you can tell from the start that Scoop was the only person who wasn't on the watch-along because he was shockingly optimistic, saying everything is still right in front of you. Toast's opening rant is also directed largely at Canes fans who are folding up stakes on the season after only losing ONE game so far this year. Plus Roman GOES OFF because of just how bad the defense was against Georgia Tech, fresh off one of the ugliest Student of the Game breakdowns he's ever done. And Scoop says that watching this year's defense is like watching the Josh Gattis offense of the past. Toast's contention remains that this loss falls on the offense way more than the defense, because they put up half of their average against Georgia Tech. The discussion moves to Cam Ward, who Roman says was bad against GT on 3rd and 4th money downs. And how Miami left 9 potential points on the field by opting to go for it on 4th down instead of taking field goals, especially in the second quarter. Ro also thinks that Cam needs to evolve quickly when it comes to holding onto the ball because it cost him a game today and could cost him a starting job in the NFL.We also try to figure out what this does to Miam's playoff standing, especially if Pitt finds a way to win out and we don't make the ACC Championship game. And if we do make the ACC title game, and lose, how does Miami still make the playoff? The targeting conversation also comes up after the bogus call on Moten, as Scoop says someone asked him why they don't eliminate targeting in the box, which he thought was a great solution. Plus a quick look around college football and a glance at FSU and Florida's terrible recruiting classes. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #145: Miami Week 11 Preview at Georgia Tech - Peanut-T-S-D

It's Georgia Tech week!! And sure enough this series is split evenly at 14-14 all time and Toast says that even though we're the better team, the Jackets are always a tough game. Scoop is also concerned that the Georgia Tech offense could give Miami fits this weekend, as it's a very similar look to Virginia Tech, and Roman brings that point home by pointing out how on-the-nose Vegas has been with their spreads and this one has a high total. The Georgia Tech home crowd might not be an issue because Atlanta has not been hot for the Jackets this season, while Roman just needs the Canes to keep Tech under 30 points. We also look deep into the defensive strategy of this team, because with an offense that's historically good the defense can bend a lot more and give up points... even though we're #1 in total defense in the ACC. Toast also wants to know why Miami has dominated the second half so predominantly but Ro is sick of praising halftime adjustments every single week. Keys to the Game include discipline, protecting Cam instead of isolating him, out-scheming the Jackets, defensive line domination and making sure we don't lose on the road. The Wheel of Football this week covers Dabo Swinney being unable to vote on Election Day, which takes us into a conversation about whether or not Clemson would ever move on from him, Shedeur Sanders laughing off class registration, Jason Kelce smashing a kid's phone for talking trash and the WILD headline of the week coming out of Ukraine. And the week 11 Pick 'Ems are once again all over the road. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? MIAMI WINS 53-31 vs Duke - Orange Bowl Boys Week 10 Recap Show

Your Miami Hurricanes are now 9-0!!Scoop recaps his experience at the game as the Canes mounted a massive second half comeback, and he offers props from the top to Xavier Restrepo for breaking the Miami Hurricanes record for all-time receiving yards and receptions on a massive touchdown. Scoop also believes that Cam Ward has the quickest release since Dan Marino, leading to our latest trend #CamMarino!Toast also has props for the team's second half response, as both the offense and defense came out as completely different units in the second half. And the debate breaks out about why Cam Ward isn't the front runner for the Heisman right now, as Travis Hunter continues to play at an elite level on both sides of the ball at Colorado. We also take a look at how Miami's front fared against the vaulted Duke defense, who only got 6 tackles for loss in this game. Plus it was another game where the defense gave up even more big plays, something that we've been hoping they'd fix for weeks now, as they continue to surface at inopportune times in all these games. And there's a lot of debate about the overall state of the defense, including the lack of pressure up front that we are not getting. And it wouldn't be a recap show if we didn't dance on the grave of Florida State after they got demolished again this week, and put it into perspective about just how bad they are this year and it's WILD. We also wonder if Miami will move up to #4 after Penn State got exposed in their loss to Ohio State. Toast also tries to argue that if the Canes go to the ACC Championship game undefeated then lose, there's a chance Miami falls out of the Playoff entirely. We go through some of the other games from around college football, break down some of the better plays of the day and try to figure out if Restrepo will be an All-American when it's all said and done this year. Plus it was really nice to see the entire team turn out yesterday for Mark Fletcher's dad's funeral on a day before the game. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #144: Miami Week 10 Preview vs Duke - Eileen in 3A

It's DUKE week, and even though Miami rolls in undefeated... this game is still scaring the guys. Because if anyone could screw up Miami's roll this season it would be Manny Diaz. And before we get too far down the Duke rabbit hole this week, we do a post mortem on the Florida State Seminoles with some of the wildest stats of the week on FSU's decline. We also touch on the rumors that Shannon Dawson might be interested in the head coaching job at Rice, and Toast says if Miami is really that good year-over-year then you should expect to replace coordinators on both sides of the ball every few years. Plus the Duke defense looks to be one of the better defenses we've faced this year, even though Ro's not buying in all the way, but it will make for a formidable challenge for the Miami offense.Toast wants to know if this is a Butch 2.0 FIU game with Manny Diaz coming back to town, and Scoop says the difference is that Duke's offense is garbage, which doesn't sway Toast after seeing UM struggle a bit against FSU. Roman believes that Cam Ward is the difference maker in this one, and the Canes are going to run all over Duke's defense who is third worst in the conference against the run this season. And our Keys to the Game this week include running the ball down their throat, patience from Cam Ward, the accuracy of the kicking game, using the tight ends and playing a clean game. We also get a wild FSU recap from I.P. Daley, who levels the Noles in classic fashion. And the Wheel of Football this week actually starts in the NBA as we try to figure out where the Dwyane Wade statue went so wrong. Plus Lane Kiffin calls out the SEC for favoring LSU with night games, the WILD call of the Commanders Hail Mary from the radio booth, and Anthony Richardson's excuse for taking himself out of a game. And Trevon Diggs teling a reporter to talk about "Deez Nuts" and the Iowa Hawkeyes with the jersey swap of the week. We close it out with another wild week of Pick 'Ems!This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy, Mint Mobile & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? MIAMI WINS 36-14 vs FSU - Orange Bowl Boys Week 9 Recap Show

Your Miami Hurricanes are 8-0!!We open what is a celebratory show with condolences to the Fletcher family after the passing of Mark's father, Big Mark, and what an emotional and special game that was for Mark. Scoop also has high grades for this Miami team, despite the lack of fanfare from the fan base, by saying this was Miami running a state rival out of the building, with the exception of just a few plays. This was also a game where the running game showed up big, and the first week where Miami's run game out gained the passing game. It was a big week for RB1 and the Miami ground game, and there were also some big moments from Xavier Restrepo as he closes in on Miami history. The defense also gets some love for shutting down the big plays, with the exception of that one wild QB scramble that led to FSU's first touchdown. And a question from Ro about how good FSU would be if Cam Ward was their quarterback where they would be, sparks some debate about what that really changes for FSU. And a look at FSU's numbers this year compared to last year really tells the tale of their downfall this year. The debate also rages about whether Miami climbs at all in the Polls or gets stuck again at #6 as we take a look at the carnage that will happen across the ACC the next few weeks. And we try to figure out where the ESPN announcers were coming from when they said Miami was "running up the score" on that final touchdown. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #143: Miami Week 9 Preview vs Florida State - You Know This Don't You

Toast survived Louisville and just got his voice back for this week's show, and just in time because it's HATE WEEK as we load up for FSU! Scoop also says the Taylor Swift was the loudest experience of his life, and Roman compares it to the UF game when Devin Hester took one to the house. It always comes back to the U...And somehow as we start to break down hate week, it's somehow even worse for the Noles then we thought, as Miami has the second best offense in the nation while FSU is coming in with the second WORST. Roman broke it all down on a special mid-week edition of Student of the Game as he looked at the film between FSU and Duke, our next two opponents, and the film really shows what a mess that team is right now. Scoop is also floored that this is one of the first years he can remember where this game meant nothing for the Canes. We dive deep into the curious case of Miami being undefeated but for some reason still stuck at #6, and Ro feels like it's due to the fact that we aren't an SEC team and our defense has been suspect. There is also a shocking amount of disrespect for the Canes as compared to other teams with similar wins and it's more proof that the Miami hate is back. That's also supported by the ESPN win probabilities which have all gone up significantly. Keys to the Game include remembering who you are, not falling for your own plays against you, and compensating for our "missing" defense. And the AI OBBs show up and absolutely stun the show with a shocking round of overs and unders for the FSU game. The Wheel of Football lands on Quinn Ewers who was the victim of a 247 Instagram hack saying he was going to sit out the rest of the season to prepare for the NFL Draft, which launches us into a conversation about whether or not that will actually happen down the line. Texas got banged $250K for littering the field and setting a standard by picking up the flag that caused the chaos. And everyone has opinions on the Illinois uniforms from this past weekend and the new caps players are wearing after concussions. Plus we close out the show with another wild round of Pick 'Ems with some great games in Week 9!This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? MIAMI WINS 52-45 at Louisville - Orange Bowl Boys Week 8 Recap Show

We open the show with a blind drunk Toast checking in live from Louisville, who recaps his drunken tear through Kentucky including Bourbon tours, $125 shots and fights in the stands. What an epic trip he got to take with some loyal OBB listeners. And of course the conversation quickly turns to the defense who was a bit of a mess today in a slugfest with Louisville, as Ro does his best Student of the Game analysis and breaks down where the matchups failed. Toast is fearful that this team needs to have the ball last in order to win, and Scoop and Ro talk him down by saying that however bad Miami's defense was bad this week, Louisville's was worse. Now there was a LOT of upside on the offense, as Cam was electric again with some wild plays when they mattered most. And it's more than great play by Cam, the team's success now seems to be anchored to his performance every single week. And once again fans are holding a call against Miami after Cam's "fumble" got called back which goes to show that the college football world is once again turning on Miami. And one thing surfaced this week that we haven't had to talk about all season... the special teams, which were a total disaster on the road in Louisville. But hey we are 7-0 BABY and we have HATE WEEK coming up against a dreadful 1-6 FSU. Let's GO!!This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? Give Paul a call! #142: Miami Week 8 Preview at Louisville - A Peacock In a Land of Pigeons

It's Louisville week, and Toast is headed to Kentucky for the game this weekend as the Canes try to keep the wins rolling. Ro also took a preview look at Louisville on this week's Student of the Game and it was Louisville running back Isaac Brown that jumped off the tape as someone the Canes will have to account for all game.We also lay out this week's Underdog Fantasy higher/lower picks after a down week last week. And Toast has questions for the crew about how important it is to see Cam Ward have a clean game, and whether this is the game that Miami leans on the running game. Plus everyone's keys to the game range from defensive schemes and improvements, establishing the run on the road, Cam Ward's efficiency and the return of Jalen Rivers to the offensive line. This week's Wheel of Football Audio takes us to Athens as Kirby Smart has to apologize to Mississippi State QB Michael Van Buren for shoving him during this weekend's game, Jerry Jones threatening Dallas radio hosts for calling him out on his decision making, Kenny Dillingham's wild post-game scrum on the field after Arizona State beat Utah, and a round of Sound Effects with Tony Romo. And we close it out with another wild week of Pick 'Ems!This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? Miami Week 7 College Football Recap Show - Orange Bowl Boys

Even though the Canes didn't play this weekend, it didn't stop us from recapping the weekend in College Football as we gear up for Louisville this Saturday! Toast's trip to the Savannah Bananas game spawns one of the best dive-bar stories from South Florida we've ever heard! But we quickly pivot back to college football because we had a lot of overtime games and games coming down to the wire this week. Scoop wants to know what stadium where we'd like to experience a game - Toast and Roman pick the bayou for an LSU game on a Saturday night, Scoop goes with Neilan Stadium for Tennessee because of how electric the atmosphere was last night. We take a quick look at the Canes opponents so far this season and how they have fared after the Miami game, and Clemson appears to be renewed and a clear second to the Canes in the ACC. And we go around some of the wild games this week, review our picks (which were all over the place after yesterday) and take a look at Alabama, who barely hung on again for a close win over South Carolina. And does the Oregon-Ohio State game end the same way if Cam Ward is under center? The debate also breaks out about whose head is bigger - Chip Kelly or Mark Mangino. Xavier Restrepo was also on ESPN this week talking about how the Canes had a players-only team meeting this week, even though they were on a bye. And we all agree that this is a great thing to happen when the team is winning, because with today's parity we see top teams lose big games even when they're favored. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #141: Miami Bye Week Grades - Green Eggs and Cam

It's the bye week show and we're still riding high at 6-and-0, and we love that the Miami Hurricanes are once again the most hated team in college football! And we relish in the hatred toward the U because everyone hates Miami when they're at their best. Toast points out that the two questionable calls literally changed the team's record from 4-and-2 to 6-and-0, but he doesn't care because both calls went their way.Scoop also plays devil's advocate and asks us how good the Canes actually are, after struggling against their two sub-par ACC opponents thus far this season. Roman argues that we have a championship caliber offense but a very average defense, while Toast contends that it all comes down to Miami having the best quarterback in the country. And like most weeks there is a lot of love to go around for the accomplishments of Xavier Restrepo as he closes in on UM receiving records. We do our higher-lower picks for the week courtesy of Underdog Fantasy, with picks in the Oklahoma-Texas game and the Ohio State and Oregon game. We also do a bye week edition of midseason grades - with great grades for the quarterback, tight ends and wide receivers - respectable grades for the running backs (even though they are the 16th best rushing team in the country), offensive line, defensive line and corners - and room-for-improvement grades for the linebackers and safeties. And the wheel of football spins wildly for the aftermath of the Vandy-Bama game, including Diego Pavia cursing on live TV, the goal posts marching down Broadway in Nashville, and an epic rant by a Finebaum caller for the ages. Plus some wild Pick Ems to round out the week, and no recap show. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? MIAMI COMES BACK TO WIN 39-38 at Cal - Orange Bowl Boys Week 6 Recap Show

The Miami Hurricanes pulled off what could be the greatest comeback in program history only hours ago, which means there is a LOT to break down in the Recap Shoooow! And if you went to bed early thinking Miami lost this one you missed an unbelievable comeback in the early hours of the morning. While everyone is thrilled that they got this comeback win, Roman feels like we're limping into the bye week at 6-0. Of course the debate rages about the targeting penalty that went the Canes way late in the game, and how that could have ended the game, but the guys feel like it probably was targeting and we got away with one. And Cam Ward's decisions were all over the place in this game, leaving us a bit concerned with his play in games that are this close. The defense also gave up some huge plays which really brought back the narrative of the questionable secondary, who has been so good all year but looked very unprepared against Cal. And while everyone stops to reflect on the joy of a 6-0 start, it was clear that Cal's approach was to goad the Miami players into conflict and reactionary plays and for the most part it worked. On the big positive side, Restrepo and Cam both had huge games (despite huge mistakes by Cam), and Scoop wants to know if Cam's lackadaisical confidence bothers the guys as much as it picks at him. And Roman is gearing up for what looks to be an epic Student of the Game as he breaks down this game film. And we bounce around one of the wildest weeks of College Football we can remember seeing. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #140: Miami Week 6 Preview at Cal - Turned Into a Sock Puppet

We start the show as the UM equipment truck is in the middle of a LONG haul across the country to get the team's gear to California, and along with that comes a featured College GameDay matchup on ESPN. And somehow the late overturned TD from the end of the Virginia Tech game is still a narrative coming into this game. Roman also talks about Kiko's low rating against the Hokies and why he graded out so low last week. We go in deep on our Cal preview, with a look at their quarterback (who frankly isn't in Cam's stratosphere) and arguably the nicest fanbase in college football. Cal's offense is rated the second worst in the ACC for scoring offense and how that should allow Miami to control the score. And Rueben Bain is back, plus some amazing audio of Cam Ward being asked about the Cal corners. And IP Daily checks in to decimate the Golden Bears going into Week 6!All three guys offer up their keys to the game, including keeping control of the box, what Cal tries to steal from the VA Tech game, cleaning up penalties, and keeping tabs on the big explosive plays. This week's wild wheel of topics runs the gamut from an unusual amount of celebrity deaths the last few weeks, Chip Kelly saying bathroom breaks are the better part of being an OC versus a head coach, Tom Brady laying the smack down on Baker Mayfield, and the perilous situation of Tyreek Hill and the Miami Dolphins. And Scoop believes it's a mistake for Nebraska to start serving alcohol at college events because it harkens back to a tradition that is dying off in college football. And we have some fun with the biggest games of the week in this week's wild round of Pick Ems!This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? MIAMI WINS 38-34 vs Virgina Tech - Orange Bowl Boys Week 5 Recap Show

Listen, momma said there’d be games like this. It definitely was not pretty, but in the end, a conference win is a win. 5-0 (1-0) will work and we continue on. Obviously, there is a lot to unpack here…we start with the final play. Was it a TD or not? We all agreed it was not and Ro made a great point. If you think that was a TD, you are a pure Miami hater. All three of us were stunned that the ACC overruled the call on the field. Can’t remember the last time the refs helped us in a game. Cam Ward and his Heisman CAMpaign is still progressing, tho this was his worst start as a Cane. He was responsible for 5 touchdowns, but also 3 turnovers. We will live with Cam and die with Cam…as he goes, so will this season. Penalties are still an issue as we bagged another 6. The rushing attack is not what we’d like to see as we approach the midway point in the season. All that said…we lose this game going away last handful of seasons. The battle back they showed us means something. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy & Manscaped. Roofing issues? #139: Miami Week 5 Preview vs VT - Let It Be Sloppy and Wet

It is the dawn of ACC play with the Canes taking on Va Tech tomorrow night at the Rock! The guys discussed the amazing start and what their worries might be heading into this game. Toast has a little concern that Va Tech might finally show the promise everyone thought they’d have pre-season. Meanwhile, Scoop would really like to see them run the ball in dominating fashion. We had a bunch of fun making our Higher/Lower picks with Underdog Fantasy. We will make more money with DJUglystats again this week.IP Daily dropped a pregame report for the Va Tech game and was somehow able to make it NSFW, so fair warning there. Earmuffs for the kiddies. We also got into the UNLV news with their QB1 bailing on them due to NIL issues. Listen, this is big boy stuff here. If you and your agent do not get stuff in writing, you are an idiot. Have competent representation. It was another HUGE win for the Miami Hurricanes as they beat the South Florida Bulls 50-15 in Tampa... which means it's another fun Recap Shooow!!The first half of this game was a struggle for the Canes with some unforced errors, but still hit the half up 7. Then they came out in the second half and ran the Bulls out of the building. Mario challenged the defense to try and pitch a shutout in the second half and the Canes came out with a whole new attitude and put the game to rest. And with another amazing performance by Cam Ward, Ro starts referring to the offense as a "hive mind" because they all know where they need to be and what's going to happen. We also take a look at the talent of the receiving core as we now have three receivers on the watch list for the Biletnikoff Award and they all showed out against USF.There are so many props to go around this week, but the play of the offensive line really stood out to everyone, as Cam Ward went practically untouched in this game. And the talent of this Canes team showed you that when you play a scheme like USF, it can only last so long before this Miami team just punches you in the mouth and shuts it down. And how about that run from Lyle!?! There's almost too much good stuff to talk about this week.Props also go to the play calling of Shannon Dawson this week, who is obviously operating without any meddling or oversight because he's been having fun with his schemes. And when you have a QB like Cam Ward, it's easy to get creative and look great. We also take a look at our Underdog Fantasy Higher or Lower picks, and break down some of the wild stories from around College Football yesterday. Now it's on to Virginia Tech on Friday night at the Rock! This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #138: Miami Week 4 Preview vs USF - House Parties in Lakeland

Scoop is coming in hot as the show's sole USF alum, and he immediately jokes that this week he's realized that USF fans border on the annoyance level of UCF fans. This branches into a discussion about who the most annoying fan base in Florida really is, and it's hard for anyone to top UF. And where exactly do you draw the line for "South Florida"? And as we dive into the specifics of this match-up, it's clear that the Bulls are a one-man show.We also welcome a new partner to the show as Underdog Fantasy presents our UM Higher or Lower segment! We also get another hilarious check-in from Canes legend I.P. Daily who lays the lumber on the Gators yet again. And all three guys bring their keys to the game, including avoiding the space game, knowing when to kneel, making the Bulls one dimensional, controlling time of possession and getting off the field on 3rd down. And the Wheel of College Football audio is loaded this week - with moments from Colorado, Shedeur Sanders refusing to shake a QB's hand, the worst kick ever on College GameDay, Marshall's head coach bribing Ohio State players with all-you-can-eat biscuits and a delusional and defeated moment with Gators head coach Billy Napier. And of course our weekly Pick 'ems are all over the road as the Top 25 matchups start to pick up!This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, the Miami Hurricane Team Store, BeatinTheBookie.com, Underdog Fantasy & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? MIAMI WINS 62-0 VS Ball State - Orange Bowl Boys Week 3 Recap Show

The Canes did something none of us saw coming as they ran Ball State out of the building, which makes for a total blast of a Recap Shooooow! It was a record setting day for Miami as they ran up 750 total yards, the first time they've done that in 20 years. Cam Ward was exceptional again yesterday, as was the line because he had all the time in the world to do what he wanted to do. And everyone was happy to see this team stay in the moment and not look past a team like Ball State with South Florida on the horizon. Plus Roman has high praise for Mario this week, as he allowed his offensive coordinator to work when things were slow. Now that we're through our first three games we start to get into the teeth of the schedule, and we're curious to see if that high level of performance from Cam can continue as the defenses toughen up. And it wouldn't be a recap show if we didn't dance on the graves of the Gators and Seminoles who both took a huge L this week. And we close out the fun with the results of our over/under picks for the week! Plus we start to look ahead to South Florida next week. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com & Manscaped.Roofing issues? Give Paul a call! #137: Miami Week 3 Preview vs Ball State - Your Mental Hamper Stinks

Everyone comes in high off the FAMU win, but Ro still feels like it's a make-or-break week because he needs to see the team make a statement against a team you're a heavy favorite over. But Scoop feels like UM is now beyond the "not being ready" stage of the season and they should roll easily against an inferior opponent.Shannon Dawson also said UM has been pretty "basic" on offense, even though we're already seeing more from the tight end group than we have in previous seasons. Plus the AI OBB's drop a hot new Cam Ward single and a Letterman-style Top 5 things that will happen before Miami loses to Ball State at home. And all the guys have their three keys to the game, which are a little more in depth than the ones against FAMU.IP Daily returns to once again lay waste to the Seminoles, Notre Dame and Auburn! And IP's comments launch us into a conversation about Linkin Park's new lead singer and how the FSU water guns that made a return appearance on social media this week. And the biggest South Florida story is still Tyreek Hill and how both Cheetah and the Miami cops were both on the wrong side of this situation. There are so many juicy Colorado stories that we have to dive into all of the rumors and stories swirling around Deion and Shaduer as they circle the tankWe dig into our third week of Pick 'ems after the fallout from a truly wild Week 2 that we didn't see coming. And all the guys pick their over-under props for the Canes, which we'll go over on Sunday's recap shooooow! This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, Mint Mobile & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? MIAMI WINS 56-9 VS FAMU - Orange Bowl Boys Week 2 Recap Show

Miami's home opener was a blowout as the Canes rolled to a huge 56-9 victory vs Florida A&M... so it's time for the Recap Shooooow!Cam Ward continued to shine as the #CAMpaign24 efforts got three passing TDs and one on the ground as he continued to look like the exceptional player he was billed as in the preseason. And both Toast and Ro are thrilled to see the involvement of the tight ends in the offensive game plan as they got into the game early. And another huge week for Restrepo shows that we are firing on all cylinders right now.Even though this was a dominant win, there were still some things that needed cleaning up - even fans commenting that things were sloppy - but we wonder if that's fair because the bar has been raised so high. Plus some penalties jumped up this week that we didn't see in Week 1, including procedural penalties that we didn't see in the Swamp. And with Michigan and Notre Dame both going down this weekend, we think the Canes could move into the Top 10 - which is great, but do NOT let that allow the team to take their foot off the gas. Plus Cal and Syracuse have both emerged early as tougher opponents than maybe UM fans had on their radar. It was nice to see the offensive love spread out across multiple receivers, backs and tight ends, but we still want to see some big explosive plays. And we round out a fun recap show by reviewing our Player Over/Under props for this week's game. And we try to digest some of the big games and upsets from around College Football. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, Mint Mobile & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #136: Miami Week 2 Preview vs FAMU - Curb Stomped at the Duck Pond

After a HUGE win at the Swamp, the OBBs are ROLLING into their Week 2 preview, as the Canes face Florida A&M at Hard Rock Stadium. And of course we have to open the show by dancing on Florida State's grave, before diving into the future of Billy Napier at Florida as his 7-year deal was almost fully guaranteed. And with politics surrounding the President resigning at Florida, Billy might get another year just based on the finances.Plus as the ACC's "top" teams struggled out of the gate, and FSU dropping BOTH of their first two games, the guys try to figure out who the Canes competition will be out of the conference. Scoop thinks Louisville is in that conversation, and so is Georgia Tech. And as we go down to Greentree, Scoop continues to be impressed by the UF game tape of Cam Ward, as there were so many small things he missed during the course of the game.Roman addresses some online haters as regards to our early push for Cam Ward to go to New York, and everyone dives into the mystery of Mike Norvell and FSU as they have looked so rough as the season has started. And we play some amazing audio of Seminoles fans melting down as they watched their team lose to Boston College.IP Daily drops by to LEVEL the Gators and the Seminoles in true IP epic fashion. The Canes checked in with three ACC players of the week in Cam Ward, Zach Carpenter and Jaden Harris. Everyone also brings their Three Keys to the table - which are all largely "stay healthy". And we round out the show with some amazing College Football audio of the week - with Brian Kelly, Nick Saban and Mike Gundy all checking in during Week 1.We dig into our third week of Pick 'ems... and honestly it's a slow week of games. But Week 2 always is - so we do our best to pick some winners! This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, Mint Mobile & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? Give Paul a call! MIAMI WINS 41-17 AT FLORIDA - Orange Bowl Boys Week 1 Recap Show

Miami rolled into the Swamp and came away with a HUGE Week 1 victory on the road... which means the guys are on full tilt for the Recap Show! Everyone is flying high on the heels of an absolute whooping that Miami opened up on the Gators. We go through the highlights of Cam Ward's amazing debut for Miami, including the gunslinger pick he threw, and how great he was after that moment. Plus how about the tight end involvement!? There were so many great moments to look at with the offensive dominance, which looked so much different than last year. And everyone has some thoughts on the statement moments of the game, from the opening drive of the second half to the elite play of the secondary.Even more praise comes from everyone about the play of the defensive, as we look at the key players from the line to the linebackers, all who made huge plays when it mattered most. It was just an all around impressive performance, especially when you look at the lack of penalties and the elimination of the crowd. We also take a look at our over/unders for players and stats for this game, as we had plenty of hits and misses. And we start to look ahead to the early part of the schedule and try to predict where we will start to see backups and substitutes. And Cam Ward had a LOT to say after the win when he met with the media. With the guys having this much fun during a recap show, Scoop didn't want the show to end as we dove into some of the other stories from the first week. Overall EVERYONE is now drinking the Kool Aid and we're ready to roll into this season! This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, Mint Mobile & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #135: Deion Zuckerberg at Tootsie's on a Slow Tuesday

IT'S GATORS WEEK!! HERE WE GO!!The season kicks off Saturday in the Swamp, and we immediately head down to Greentree to preview the Week 1 matchup with Florida. And somehow the ESPN computers have us at 57% to lose! So Toast wants to know what scares us about the game, and the guys believe it's genuinely a mix of the venue and the expectations. Toast, however, feels the coaching staff needs to control this game with a strong game plane instead of being a liability. And everyone has their Three Keys to the Game. Roman's three keys are to disguise the defense on the Gators, involvement from the tight ends early, and limiting the chaos plays by Florida. Toast's Three Keys are consistent pressure on the QBs, letting Cam Ward cook, and not losing the turnover battle on the road. Scoop's Three Keys are composure, penetration from the front four on defense, and performance from the stable of running backs.Plus the AI OBB's return to the show to give their thoughts on the Gators and offer some AI-generated picks for the game - and all three of the AI's pick the Canes to win on the road! Which amps up everyone's anxiety even more.Deion Sanders leads off the Wheel of College Football Topics for the week after he banned a Denver Post reporter from asking questions at Colorado press events. We dig into our second week of Pick 'ems with huge games for UGA and Clemson, BC and FSU, and the biggest games of the week. And everyone offers up their official pick for the UM/UF game with score predictions and storylines. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, Mint Mobile & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #134: Hiatus After Nob Hill

We are getting SO CLOSE to the kickoff of the season and we're already trying to figure out what picks to dive into in the Week 0 matchups. Pro Football Focus also set us on our side this week by going in even bigger by putting Miami at #12. As we continue to do the math we wonder how ESPN has us going 8-4 with a fully healthy roster and how the Canes can prove them wrong. And listeners want to know what Shannon Dawson plays you'd like thrown out in the Red Zone, and just how good Rueben Bain can be this year as he develops. We also get into the unfortunate tale of former 5-star quarterback Malachi Nelson, who transferred from USC to Boise State and LOST the starting QB job, and Tua going scorched Earth on Brinan Flores and how we were actually impressed by the way Flores responded.Plus we dive into some of the craziest audio of the week - with the Air Traffic Control audio of a co-pilot who jumped out of a plane and just how insane the reality of the story is. And some HILARIOUS audio from Australia where an angry man is torturing his ex-girlfriend by giving out her number and soliciting Chewbacca impressions. And Pick 'ems are BACK for Week 0 - with one good game in Ireland and three pretty random ones. But hey, picks are back! And it's our FINAL ROUND of Five Questions until the season's over, and this week they include what's on TV in hell, things an alien can do to get laid, when we stopped caring what people think about us, unwritten rules for men, and what our younger selves would think of us today. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, Mint Mobile & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #133: Dirty Balls Don't Go in the Hole

PGA pro golfer and friend of the show Andrew Novak joins the show for the entire hour, and not only is he a huge Canes fan but also gets into the depths of fantasy football as the fall closes in. We also dive into Miami falling in at #19 in the AP Top 25, after finishing in the same spot in the Coaches Poll, and where we all see the losses coming this season. Novak also talks about the mixed bag of emotions surrounding Miami this year, because of how great the talent is compared to the history of disappointing losses. There has also been conversation among the OBB Discord chat that Scoop should be suspended for the USF game in Week 4, but Scoop explains that Miami takes precedence over USF so he refuses to allow it. Plus we get Andrew's thoughts on fan reactions if we lose in Week 1, who his breakout stars will be and where we'll see the biggest ups and downs this year.Plus the AI OBBs make their triumphant return as they roll through the schedule and dole out their own season predictions - and as normal it goes way off the rails! We also get into Tyreek Hill saying that he could beat Noah Lyles in a race (which launches Novak into a discussion about golfing in the Olympics), the hilarity surrounding Olympic break dancing, and Charles Barkley leaving $100 million on the table so his TNT people get to keep their jobs. And we close it out as always with a round of Five Questions, including what you'd do with the richest person in the world's money, our Mount Rushmore of childhood cartoons, the most satisfying pain we've ever felt, the event that made us the most anxious, and things that are better when you finish in second place. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, Mint Mobile & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #132: A Spoonful of Cinnamon

We open the show this week by diving into the first preseason AP Coaches Poll which had Miami coming in at #19, and Roman makes an argument about why that ranking could even be better, going as far as saying if we were an SEC school we could be a Top 5 team with our roster. And with reports that Dawson is truly calling plays, and having three receivers on the Biletnikoff Award watch list, everyone continues to panic about expectations going into the season. And with the season coming in hot, we go game-by-game for our preseason predictions... with Roman having us losing to UF, Scoop has us losing to USF, while Toast has us losing THREE conference games and all but tanking the entire season. This is hands down the most unexpected and WILD round of season predictions we've ever done.Plus we get into FIU signing a stadium naming rights deal with Pitbul, the allegations surrounding Deion Sanders and the chaos in the Colorado locker room, and the pole vaulter who knocked off the crossbar with his member. And we close it out as always with a round of Five Questions, which cover something we can admit about companies we no longer work for, conventionally unattractive people that we find attractive, something you can add 1% to and cause chaos, brutally honest dating advice for men, and the body type of an Olympian that we'd prefer. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, Mint Mobile & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #131: Someone's Finishing 17th

We kick off Chapter 131 by getting into a bunch of audio from Day 1 of Miami Hurricanes camp - including Cam Ward calling some guys out for giving in to the heat, and how the defense won the first day. Plus we are loving what Cam has to say about Sam Brown and Damien Martinez as strong additions to the offense. We're also joined by an OBB favorite, Roddy Jones from the ACC Network, who jokes about how much he's been playing EA College Football 25 and throwing six picks against Miami while playing as Georgia Tech. And with all the excuses gone this season, Roddy admits that he's buying into Miami because of all the weapons on offense. Roddy even believes that without Cam Ward, this offense could still make some noise because the pieces are that good.Roddy also gets into the wild card group that are the tight ends, and how Arroyo could be a huge difference maker if utilized correctly on this Miami offense. Plus as we get into the preseason polling, Roddy exposes why he also isn't buying the Florida State hype as the season closes in. And of course Scoop pulls Roddy into the anxiety over the South Florida game.We also jump into some amazing audio of the week that includes Snoop Dogg calling Olympic Badminton, Paul Finebaum telling Matt Rhule to stay in his lane when it comes to predicting how many Big Ten teams deserve to be in the expanded playoff, and Frank the Tank's total meltdown after Sal Licata jinxed the Mets again. And as always it's a round of Five Questions, which cover what vehicle we'd transform into if we were Transformers, what current technology we'd take back to the stone age, the name of our Martian football team, what song we'd use to open a worldwide DJ set, and what language we'd like to learn instantly. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, Mint Mobile & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #130: It's Us and FIU

We come out straight Bange-in this week after a week off and the A.I. almost got us cancelled. Ro shares a story about a teenage girl admitting she's "catch a charge" to be with his son, Scoop has picked up glass blowing, and Toast chose to do a whole lot of nothing with his time off. We also discuss the NCAA lawsuits being settled, eliminating walk-ons on college campuses, and how baseball benefits more than anyone with the new scholarship rules.Plus FSU continues to shoot themselves in the foot over conference realignment, and Luke Fickell blaming Miami for holding him back after TVD was named the starter at Wisconsin. Plus we dive into a lot of audio of Mario and Cam from ACC Kickoff, as Toast is frustrated with Mario's response to "no excuses" and Roman gets tired of listening to Mario continue to rain superlatives down on Cam Ward. And Mario doesn't want to talk about UF in Week 1, which throws everyone for a loop. There's also so much golden audio this week including Cam Ward at Media Days, DeShaun Foster butchering his opening press conference in the Big Ten, and Lane Kiffin ripping Paul Finebaum on his own show. And we look at early predictions for All-ACC as nine Canes are currently in that conversation. And we cap it off with the audio of the week as a woman catches a couple having sex in their apartment complex pool.Plus we close it out with a round of 5 Questions, which this week include the small things in our lives that bring us daily joy, what celebrity we'd have as a roommate, what happened to the most attractive people in our high school, our most hated fruit, and things that don't require a license but should. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, Mint Mobile & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #129: Sh*t Game Plan Larry

We have SO much Canes content on the plate this week, and we start with rumors that both FSU and Clemson have been sent packing by both the Big10 and the SEC. And with that rumor comes another that the Big 12 is looking to poach up to six schools from the ACC and we break down some of the more intriguing matchups from that possibility. And just how big can a conference get in all this realignment? And with Cam Ward talking trash to Shedeur Sanders, we love that he's already adopted that Canes-edge.Miami rolled out the new uniforms, including the "black out" jersey, and no one seems to care because recently we've lost in every uniform! We also start planning the OBB road trip to Vegas for the 2027 season kickoff, even if the heat in Vegas this time of year is unbearable. And that off ramps us into a debate about the appropriate thermostat settings for Florida summers. We also dive into Phil Knight offering Oregon unlimited NIL money, and Mike Gundy seemingly accidentally admits to driving drunk over 1000 times. And the Wheel of Topics hits on Joey Chestnut mowing down 200 boneless Buffalo Wings, the Hawk Tuah girl cashing in, and Scoop's favorite Crumbl Cookie cereal.Plus we close it out with a round of 5 Questions, which this week include our "I'm dating an idiot moment", things that caused us to end a friendship, our views on alternate dimensions, how we handle criticism, and things our teachers did that we'll never forget. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #128: John Stockton's Camel Toe

We open the show with Roman's son playing his last little league game, with him crying his eyes out in front of his boy, and how Scoop gets emotional around his kids and their sports also. Which somehow spins into a conversation about conference allegiances outside of your team.Plus as we dive into our Hurricanes Football talk for the week, Toast is starting to get nervous as the bar continues to be raised higher by the day. And Scoop takes a look at the position group rankings, including Phil Steele's ranking of the Canes as an overall preseason #10, and where Miami falls in the way-too-early playoff predictions from 24/7 Sports.IP Daily makes his triumphant return to the show to comment on the pressure the Canes will face this year. And we're absolutely loaded with crazy stuff in this week's Wheel of Topics, ranging from wild audio from the Panthers Stanley Cup parade, we celebrate Bobby Bonilla Day, dive into the insanity of the Kyle Filipowski "mormon grooming" story and how much we loved seeing Michael J. Fox on stage with Coldplay.Plus we close it out with a round of 5 Questions, which this week include the most inappropriate place we were drunk, things people don't know will kill them, an oddly fitting song for a bar fight, what you'd have on your Batman utility belt, and songs with the creepiest lyrics. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #127: Canned Yams Never Spoil

We are all high on the Florida Panthers winning the Stanley Cup in an epic Game 7, everyone reflects on their favorite moments from the night and the subsequent morning after at the Elbo Room! Plus this year's Blue Chip report is out and of course we bait Roman into talking about Miami's ranking... and how it ultimately doesn't matter. And we have to pile on Oklahoma State sideline reporter Robert Allen for saying Miami is the "cheatingest" program in the NIL market.Miami also made 24-7's preseason list of teams that will win at least 10 games, as they have the Canes going 11-1 with their only loss coming to Florida State... and Scoop still isn't seeing the Florida State buzz this year. And we get a visit from the AI OBB's as they recap the epic Stanley Cup Finals for the Panthers.Plus this week's Wheel of Topics covers the protestors that ran out onto the 18th green of the Travelers, Dave Grohl taking shots at Taylor Swift, audio from the insane mother that charged her daughter's friend's mom for a play date, and the assassin for hire that worked for the Milwaukee Brewers. And it's another classic round of Five Questions, including what you'd do with the Stanley Cup, where you'd hold your South Florida parade, any Game 7 we could witness, 5000 of anything that starts with "y", and the worst thing we've ever experienced at a wedding. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #126: Education is Stupid So Don't Let the Boomers Take Your Bitches by Lickin The Lobe

It's an early edition of the show as the boys get ready for Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals, in hopes that the Panthers bring home the Stanley Cup. Roman also shares a classic Little League story about an umpire throwing an entire family out of a game! And Toast shares his struggle with AirBNB and having to pitch himself to a renter in Tennessee in order to stay there. As we finally pull the show back on the tracks, we jump into Miami's playoff expectations going into Week 1 against the Gators, and Scoop jokes that if UM loses to Florida that the season is over before it even starts. And we dance on the grave of the Herald writer who suggested that UM drop sports entirely, and reflect on Phil Steele's picks for UM All Americans.Plus this week's Wheel of Topics runs the gauntlet from Rory McIlroy choking away the US Open (and the amazing shot Bryson had to hit to win it), Snoop Dogg calling a baseball game, Landon Donovan's jacked up hair, Bill Belichick dating a 24-year-old, and Charles Barkley announcing his retirement. And it's another classic round of Five Questions, including the strangest reasons we'd stay at an AirBNB, villains with a point, women's traits that men find attractive that women are self conscious about, underappreciated professions and This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #125: Bad Backer-Inners

We open the show this week with a new University President at Miami, as Julio Frenk moves on to UCLA and Joe Echevarria stepping in as interim President, which is a great thing for the football program! But of course it's Toast that plays devil's advocate, as he's afraid a change in leadership could force the athletic program to take a step back. We also address the unnamed ACC coach that said the questions at Miami surround the coaching staff far more than the stacked roster, and Scoop goes in on Lindy Sports for leavine Rueben Bain off the All-ACC predictions. Plus a wide open wheel of topics takes us to Danny Hurley rejecting the LA Lakers (UConn fan Toast weighs in), we call for Major League Eating to free Joey Chestnut, and everyone is completely astounded by the rodeo bull that got loose in Oregon. Plus it's another classic round of Five Questions, including the wildest thing you'd see in the IT department, what artist we could listen to on a 10-hour road trip, medicine that were life changers for us, how we annoy our jerk neighbors, and what we did to get blocked by celebrities. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #124: Barry Whitenback

Roman's having back problems, Toast is working a lot, and Scoop is all over the place as we get things rolling this week. And the most important question of the night kicks off with the question about whether we're buying the preseason rankings... and sure enough everyone continues to fall in on different sides of the narrative.Somehow we get into a full-on discussion about the Cola wars, now that Dr. Pepper has surpassed Pepsi as #2 on the best selling soda list. And as we pull the car back onto the road we take a good look at the ACC power rankings and get worried that Miami might be coming in with too much hype.Plus some absolutely amazing audio of the week from Houston activist Quanell X, and everyone gets their licks in on the media frenzy around Caitlin Clark, largely in agreement that the girls in the league need to get on board with what she's done for the sport and just play her tough and stop with the sensitivity. And, as always, we close things out with a round of Five Questions, including who we'd take the fall for, things we shouldn't be congratulated for, games we can never stop playing, cheap food we'll never stop eating, and the room we'd make in our dream home. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #123: A Small Shrub On My Face

Facial hair and Brazilian waxes open up this week's show for some reason, but we quickly transition to the "all in" proposition for the Canes as we get into Summer. Everyone has strong feelings about the defensive line, pointing out that seasons we felt confident were years when the defense was relentless. Toast hopes this "all in" mentality translates to the first year of a decade-long run, and Scoop feels like if this first effort is successful that this could become a perennial trend.Roman also gives a quick wrap on the UM baseball season before we launch into this week's Wheel of... Audio! We got from the hilariously viral Wheel of Fortune contest, the Oklahoma high school soccer announcer that trashed the players on a hot mic, the man who Zoomed into his court appearance for driving on a expired license while driving, a fan pigging out at the White Sox vs Blue Jays game, and Jaelen Phillips finding an Iguana in his toilet.Plus we also touch on the passing of Bill Walton, the Home Alone house being for sale, and the pilot jumping the gun on a Ft Lauderdale flight and telling the passengers to prepare for a water landing. And Scoop has a serious moment as we reflect on the tragic passing of Grayson Murray. And, as always, we close things out with a round of Five Questions, including things that are off limits at the gym, what car we'd use if we were Doc Brown, movies we wish we could wipe from our memories, the hardest thing to throw away, and the funniest thing we would say to the cops during a traffic stop. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #122: Fire Station Masturbation

More big signings have everyone drinking on a weeknight, as we talk about the big defensive end that Mario just landed in the portal... and the pressure continues to mount. Plus the Jaden Rashada lawsuit gives us the opportunity to laugh at the Florida Gators as he sues UF and Billy Napier over an unpaid NIL deal, even though the Miami side of the story is a little ugly in its own right. There's a good chance this story ruins Florida's NIL cred going forward. We also get Scoop's reaction to the anarchy of the Scottie Scheffler arrest at the PGA Championship, and wonder if he'll actually see jail time due to the severity of the charges. We also highlight some amazing audio of the week from Minnesota Timberwolves stars Anthony Edwards and Karl Anthony-Towns, and have some fun with Ben Affleck claiming he was "temporarily insane" when he married J-Lo. And how good can the new Wendy's 50-piece nugget really be if it only costs $15.And we close this week with an EPIC round of Five Questions hosted by the AI Orange Bowl Boys!! Questions include things we wish we knew how to do, paranormal experiences, government secrets we need to know, rude-talking animals and ways we'd like to see nations settle disputes instead of war. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #121: Boujee Bowl Boys

The boys are back and we immediately dive into Mario's ever-growing expectations as the roster continues to grow. But with such big expectations, we need more than just a roster that looks good on paper, it needs to work on the field. And with a 3:30 kick in the season opener at Florida, no one wants to sit in the boiling hot sun in the middle of the day in Gainesville.Roman also overcame a huge fear by actually getting a massage, which leads us into a wild conversation about Ro's neck phobia. And this week's Wheel of Topics brings us the most hated man in America in Harrison Butker (which wasn't as bad as it's being spun), Netflix green lighting Happy Gilmore 2, and the porn reporter that invaded Luka Doncic's post-game press conference. Plus NFL creative schedule releases and the haunting red Prince Charles portrait. And we close it out as we always do with a round of Five Questions - including weird things we'd say to our surgeon, how we correct losing focus, implanted false memories, coolest named places, how we'd spend a million dollars, and what dog breeds have the craziest owners. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #120: Lost The House on Donkey Kong

We open the show with the unusual trio of Scoop's new 70's glasses, Toast's new toe fungus and the show's first samping of Night Owl cookies. Then we get into the Canes in the 2024 NFL Draft, and how the list of undrafted signees was longer than the list of guys that went in the formal rounds. And we try to figure out why certain guys went in the Draft and why others fell off. Plus everyone tries to take a look at the gains and losses in the portal, and just how good Mario has shown to be in this portal recruiting cycle. And Deion Sanders has been buzzing all over social media as his time at Colorado has seemed to turn the corner, after just one year. This week's Wheel of Topics brings us some amazing audio from the NFL Draft from FSU's Keon Coleman - who knows how to jacket show - to Xavier Legette's southern mumble. We also enjoy the bees that took over the baseball game, legalized gambling at Dave & Busters, and the NBC vs TNT battle over the future of the NBA. We also kick around Jake Paul fighting Mike Tyson in a sanctioned brawl, changes at the NFL on CBS and a hands-thrown baseball fight. And it wouldn't be a show without a round of Five Questions - including sports franchises we would buy, horror villains we'd try to outrun, the next big thing that died, our unconventional achievements, and the type of people who annoy us. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #119: A Muffled Sit Fart

Everyone checks in for this week's show, with Ro fresh back from a big volleyball tournament trip in Philadelphia, and Scoop and Ro's impromptu hang session at the Fire Station while Ro was on shift. And of course we dive into the portal chaos and just how hard it is to keep track of everything that's happening in the offseason. Plus as you lose guys to the portal you also get to whale hunt in the portal, and everyone needs that talent to translate to at least 10 wins. The AI OBB's return for the second week in a row, this time to rip FSU for their "unconquered" ring after losing 63-3 to Georgia in the Orange Bowl. And the audio of the week brings us a farting NFL General Manager and a debate about whether it was a burp or a fart. Plus some congratulations to Reggie Bush for getting his Heisman Trophy back. And it wouldn't be a show without a round of Five Questions - including things that scream we're bad with money, what we'd say to our moms as children, who screwed up their one job, what certain emotions smell like, what non flying animal would be lethal if it could fly, and what we'd do with our clones. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #118: The Fumunda Funk

We open the show with everyone's reaction to the Spring Game, and to no one's surprise everyone was impressed with the play of Cam Ward. The boys are also surprised that the game wasn't as vanilla as we've seen in past years. And everyone has praise for Jacurri Brown as he hits the transfer portal after the game, even though he may have been the best of the backups. Now that we're all drinking the Kool-Aid, everyone wants a win to start the year on the road in Gainesville, and realistically we need to see Mario make the most of this one season with Cam or his seat might start getting warm. And the glorious return of the AI OBBs goes all over the road with new AI written theme songs! On this week's Wheel of Topics we range from Boban Marjanovic getting Clippers fans free chicken, and Caitlin Clark on Saturday Night Live and her horrendous rookie contract. And it wouldn't be a show without a round of Five Questions - including our "I'm calling it now" predictions, the biggest lie we've fallen for, our professional wrestler finishing move, what motivates people to wake up at 5am, and things that scream that a couple isn't going to make it.This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #117: In The Wind With a Chub

It's Spring Game week so everyone takes a look at what they hope to see from different position groups - as Ro covers QBs and linebackers, Toast talks O-Line and safety, and Scoop wants to see the running backs and corners. Plus we try to figure out how a guy like Oregon State's Damien Martinez could fit in with the current RB room. And we're anxious to see Emory and Jacurri legitimately compete for the backup role. Nevin Shapiro is also out of jail and the debate rages about whether or not we should extend him an invite to be on the show, and everyone falls in on different sides of the argument. Plus some props to Norchad Omier on declaring for the NBA Draft, and some feedback on the struggling UM baseball team. And this week's wild wheel of topics goes from drunk Floridians naked in garbage cans, the ratings discrepancy between the mens and women's national title games, and hilarious audio from South Carolina head coach Dawn Staley and the Weather Channel's Stephanie Abrams. John Calipari also bows out from Kentucky (which actually saved Kentucky money), whether the PGA or LIV will have more golfers in the Top 5 of the Masters, and the curious case of the Dodger fan who caught Shohei's first home run ball. And of course we close it out with a round of Five Questions - including weird things about our bodies, the nicest hotels we've been to, things we hope our parents never find out about, when we knew our childhood ended and how we are doing today. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #116: Say His Name

Lots of talk from Spring practice as Scoop dove into the Mario press conference, with some observations on the battle for QB2 and the improvement in the tight end usage. And as the portal opens we are curious if we're going to see a QB transfer out if they are too low on the depth chart, and we still think Miami will go hunting again for a splash wide receiver and maybe now a running back.Roman also thinks Shannon Dawson's success this year will hinge on the fact that he now has a mobile quarterback, and asks the show how we feel about his offensive IQ compared to Mike McDaniel. Plus we discuss the Iowa-LSU game and if we think women's basketball can continue to bring in huge numbers after Caitlin Clark moves on. And the wheel of topics this week goes from Larry David, Pop Tarts vs Toaster Strudels, the Rock doing something amazing for a wrestling fan, Rashee Rice running from the scene of an accident, and Toast's voyage to see the solar eclipse next week. And it wouldn't be a show without a round of Five Questions - including pointless crimes, what we would do with immortality, things that could ruin your life, things we wish we could experience again for the first time, and when we think AI will take over the world. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #115: A Slightly Asian Dave Matthews

We open this week with talk of booze, and Dan Radakovich's comments about UM loving the ACC, which had the fan base divided this week. And with all this talk of conference realignment has the OBBs in agreement that staying in the ACC is a very smart move for Miami. And Scoop has a few offensive players from Spring practice Plus the "Wheel of Topics" is on full tilt this week, with so many great stories to talk about - including the fact that no one on the show believes Shohei Ohtani's translator taking the fall in his gambling case, the hilarious audio of Matt Barnes vs an opossum, and the curious case of Caleb Williams after his unconventional appearance at the women's tournament. And everyone seems to be big on the new NFL kickoff rule, and Roman wants to know if the Dolphins decide to draft Penix if that would be an upgrade from Tua. We also hit on this week's wild ATV chase on I-95 in South Florida and Caitlin Clark's frustrated attitude during the tournament. And in another round of Five Questions, we get into childhood punishments, recent scientific innovations, time traveling revelations, things we hated as children but love now, and what made us realize certain girls were not for us.This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #114: Add Jalen Suggs to the Front

All the boys are cooked after a crazy week, and somehow Toast managed to piss off a whole new group of college basketball fans when he disputed if Caitlyn Clark was really the GOAT of women's basketball. And we take a rare trip to Greentree during the off season as we reflect on Henry Parrish leaving the U, as we now have to take a good look at the running back room.We also throw a little love to Kam Kinchens after he showed out at Pro Day, and reflect on what Mark Richt did for UM Pro Day while he was here. And as we stare down the tournament, everyone has thoughts on the popularity of the women's game this year as compared to the men. Plus we rejoice in the glory of German-suplexing basketball-playing Russians as we discover Rugball - a combination of basketball, rugby and wrestling. And this week's wheel of topics includes Kevin Harlan's epic call of the confetti mishap during the A-10 Championship Game, the hilariously unfortunate circumstance of Dan Monson who was fired before his team made the tournament, and the Paris Olympics lifting the intimacy ban during this year's games. Plus the hilarious jersey swap of the year between Gradey Dick and Anthony Dick, and we hang out in Scoop's golf corner And it's another round of Five Questions - including questions that qualify friendships, our desired trade job, death row last meals, unusual pets, and the topics of our speaking engagements. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues? #113: Professor Snickerdoodle (She's Probably on Drugs)

We open the show with Scoop back in the house, and Toast has to immediately address the Twitter feud that erupted this week between him and some Canes fans over the state of the basketball program. It's another epic Toast rant and he shuts down the narrative about him being a "casual" fan. And Scoop jokes about being on vacation last week while Toast set the world on fire. There are also major props to the UM AAU hockey team winning the DIII National Championship! Because who would have thought we'd win a hockey title before winning a football title again? And everyone has a strong opinion about Nick Saban's NIL comments on Capitol Hill, ranging from Ro's vocal disagreement to Scoop trying to see it from both sides. The awkward audio of the week comes from Utah State women's basketball coach Kayla Ard, who stunned everyone by announcing her firing in her own post-game press conference. And the most amazing story of the week as we visualize what it would be like for Aaron Rodgers to be both the Vice President and the quarterback for the NY Jets at the same time! And as always we close things out with another round of Five Questions - including things we are experts at, our favorite moments in our first car, the happiest people we know, men in thongs and our worst wedding experiences. This episode is presented by Paul Bange Roofing, BeatinTheBookie.com, & Manscaped.  Roofing issues?
