2402: A Gentle Warrior's Guide to Healthy Travel by Courtney Carver
Courtney Carver shares her gentle warrior's guide to healthy travel.
Episode 2402: A Gentle Warrior's Guide to Healthy Travel by Courtney Carver of Be More With Less
Courtney Carver was stopped in her tracks with a scary MS diagnosis after decades of debt, discontent, and trying to do it all. She had to slow down, prioritize her health, and figure out what was really important in her life. She discovered what mattered most by getting rid of everything that didn't matter at all. In the end it all came down to love and health.
She went from a busy, overwhelmed advertising director to spending 2-3 hours every morning taking care of herself, loving her work, and being present and engaged with the people she loves. Her family changed, too. They moved from wanting bigger closets, nicer furniture, and more stuff to downsizing into a 750 sq. ft apartment with no storage.
Courtney has written books, courses, and hundreds of articles to help you simplify your life and work so you can focus on what really matters.

2399: An Excerpt From the Book "Pancakes For Roger" by Susan Combs
Susan Combs shares an excerpt from her book Pancakes For Roger
Episode 2399: An Excerpt From the Book "Pancakes For Roger" by Susan Combs on Slaying Personal Dragons
In a world that can feel shaky and uncertain at times, one fact holds true: nobody gets anywhere alone. Susan L. Combs has learned that lesson many times over, and she’s held onto the advice that has guided her on her journey—one that’s taken her from a tiny town in Missouri to the hustle of New York City. She’s faced immense grief and fostered immense growth, personally and
professionally. Through it all, she leaned on guidance from mentors in her life.
One of those key mentors was her father, Roger. He wore many hats: as a judge, a veteran and Two-Star Major General, a leader in his community, a loving husband . . . and, as we learn in
this book, one heck of a dad. Though he passed away in 2018, his legacy lives on in "Pancakes for Roger" and beyond, as a portion of the proceeds from this book benefits the University of
Missouri School of Law Veterans Clinic in his honor.
In "Pancakes for Roger"—a series of quick, straightforward snapshots delivered with no fluff and a whole lot of heart—Susan offers lessons from Roger and others so that you can lean on them, too, as you set out to slay your own dragons.

Rachel Jones of Nourishing Minimalism reminds you that your belongings should help you live in the present
Episode 2395: Your Belongings Should Help You Live in the Present by Rachel Jones of Nourishing Minimalism
Rachel started her journey to minimalism in 2008, struggling with depression and horribly embarrassed by the messy state of her home.
Her goal for pursuing minimalism was to find contentment and joy in spending time with family and being able to focus on Christ. What she found was that minimalism wasn’t the answer. But it is a tool to use to help you focus on what’s important.
Her mission is to help others turn their home into their own personal oasis.
Having found an immense amount of freedom with minimalism, it's her goal to share the methods of simplifying and the tools that she had to rely on (and still does!) to maintain a home that is easy to take care of and a joyful space to live.

Episode 2367: Improve Your Life in One Minute a Day by Kate Hesse of Nourish Nest Breathe on Quick Self-Improvement Tips
When you implement the NNB Formula, you get really clear on your priorities and values, you set and hold healthy boundaries in alignment with those priorities and values, and you build a sustainable self-care and self-work routine into your life. And suddenly, living a life you love stops being a dream and becomes your everyday reality.
There are three pillars in the NNB Formula:
-Priorities & Values: figuring out what is most important to YOU
-Boundaries: learning how to set and maintain healthy boundaries which align with your priorities and values
-Sustainable Self-Care & Self-Work: integrating self-care (nourishing) and self-work (expanding) activities into your daily life in a way that works for you and your schedule.

Courtney Carver of Be More With Less shares 10 strategies for owning less
Episode 2363: 10 Ways to Own Less by Courtney Carver on Strategies For Minimizing and Improving Spending
Courtney Carver was stopped in her tracks with a scary MS diagnosis after decades of debt, discontent, and trying to do it all. She had to slow down, prioritize her health, and figure out what was really important in her life. She discovered what mattered most by getting rid of everything that didn’t matter at all.
