We’ll see you at the movies for this one! INTRODUCTION  The upcoming Disney Marvel movie "Deadpool & Wolverine" is set to be a game-changer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). This film is a result of Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox, which has brought together characters from separate universes under one roof. This merger has allowed for the integration of characters like Deadpool and the X-Men into the MCU.  THE PLOT  In "Deadpool & Wolverine", Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, is recovering from his injuries when he crosses paths with the loudmouth Deadpool, played by Ryan Reynolds. They team up to defeat a common enemy.  THE MULTIVERSE CONNECTION  The movie is set in the multiverse, connecting it to other Marvel properties. One of the significant connections is with the TV series "Loki" and the Time Variance Authority (TVA). The TVA, introduced in "Loki", is an organization in charge of maintaining the Sacred Timeline and ensuring the Marvel Multiverse remains intact [6]. In "Deadpool & Wolverine", the TVA comes knocking on Wade Wilson's (Deadpool's) door [6]. Deadpool finds himself in front of Matthew Macfayden's TVA Agent Paradox, who introduces Deadpool to the MCU. This connection to the TVA and Loki adds a new layer of complexity and excitement to the film.  THE VILLAIN: CASSANDRA NOVA  The villain in "Deadpool & Wolverine" is Cassandra Nova, played by Emma Corrin. In the comics, Cassandra Nova is a genocidal mutant with terrifying powers and a dark origin story. She is technically not Charles Xavier's twin, but they did share a womb, and she turned out to be the evil one [18]. In the movie, Nova effortlessly fights off Wolverine with telekinesis, hinting at her immense power. She possesses a wide array of powers like telepathy, mind control, and healing factor, making her a dangerous threat.  RELEASE DATE  The movie is set to release on July 26, 2024  CONCLUSION  "Deadpool & Wolverine" is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the MCU, bringing together beloved characters in a new context. As a roadie, Randy Noldge toured with bands for about 10 years throughout the 90s. Worked with King of the Hill (Frank from Dr. Zhivegas) in the early 90s, shortly after that toured with a number of bands from around the world, including Kenny Loggins, Roxette out of Sweden (She’s Got The Look), Tony Bennett, Lou Rawls from STL, wrapped up touring with Little River Band for 4+ years! Then started working at local St. Lous Venue, The Pageant, in the year 2000, where he has been working sound for 165 shows a year for the past 24 years! LOUIS, MO / January 8, 2024 – Cycle Showcase STL is thrilled to announce a new venue to celebrate over a decade of art and inspiration with a two-day event featuring rare and custom bikes from all over the world.   Everyone from racers and long-distance touring riders to historical restoration buffs, hand-built motorcycle designers and motorcycle inspired artists will be represented. The all-ages event takes place Saturday, February 10 from 11 a.m. -7 p.m. and Sunday, February 11 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at The Moto Museum located at 3408 Locust Street in Midtown St. Louis.  Cost to attend the showcase is $12.50 for adults which gives you a wristband for both days. Children ages 12 and under are free with paid adult. Tickets are only sold at the door.  The Cycle Showcase event will feature 50+ historically significant, hand-crafted works of two-wheeled art. Museums and private collections from across the country will come together to display a wide range of motorcycles, with an emphasis on the beauty in both the design and engineering.      The Cycle Showcase is also home to a variety of motorcycle related pieces of artwork exhibited right alongside beautiful bikes in an art gallery atmosphere. Cycle Showcase is excited for the opportunity to show the motorcycle community from an artist’s perspective. Up and coming local artists, crafters and vendors are scheduled to appear.   The Smooches for Pooches Doggie Kissing Booth is back!
