The Secret To Getting Things Done - Thought Of The Week
Yesterday I spent two hours with author of Getting Things Done, David Allen. David said the art of getting things done is all about being appropriately engaged with what you need to be at that time. When did you last do a brain dump to get your ideas out of your head and create some key action items? https://youtu.be/bRLQCa0XOHs

Ivana Chubbuck - The Power Of The Actor
Acting coach and writer Ivana Chubbuck has become one of Hollywood's most important one-to-one teachers. Over the course of a 30 year career, she has worked with some of the most famous A-list film stars. Instructing them in her own acting theory, the Chubbuck Technique, it's her aim to empower students to remain creatively strong in an industry as intense as the movies. Ivana's methods have been so revolutionary that her students are annually nominated for Academy Awards, Emmys and Golden Globes. Ivana's book, The Power of the Actor, was an instant bestseller. It outlines The Chubbuck Technique. The technique itself draws on real psychology and human behaviour as a basis for creating authentic characters and engage with the story. It's a 12 step program that helps actors immerse in their role, bringing scripts to life. There are hundreds of different coaches with hundreds of theories and techniques to choose from, but Ivana's masterclass is simple and extremely effective with the results to prove it. Actors and professional entertainers like Jim Carrey, Brad Pitt and Beyonce are the alumni that stand by Ivana's work. Whether you're a professional actor or not, today's episode will change everything. Anita Moorjani - Life After Death, Surviving Cancer
Few people have been to edge of death and come bounced back to full recovery - especially those with cancer. Anita Moorjani has though, and this week she’s telling her story on London Real. After fighting cancer for four years, it looked like Anita was about to succumb to the disease. Slipping into a coma on February 2nd 2006, doctors informed her husband that this was the end but, in this case, it definitely was not. With fascinating descriptions of her own near death experience, sensations of meaning and a straight notion of how to return to the land of the living, Anita set herself to recover. Today she’s a New York Times bestselling author, a fellow TEDx speaker and ambassador to the possibility that there’s more to this life but you must choose. She’ll confound the sceptics, shock the complacent and spare some knowledge to all those willing to listen. Ladies and gentlemen, don’t miss this.

Hannah Witton - The Truth About Sex
Hannah Witton - The Truth About Sex GO VIP: http://www.londonreal.tv/subscribe I met Hannah at on-stage at the TEDx conference when I was delivering my own talk. At the time she was giving a talk on sex education - which, is somewhat her expertise. As a Youtuber Hannah has carved for herself a following of almost 120,000 subscribers. Her weekly videos deal with all topics ranging from sex and contraception to gender and pornography. Often controversial, but dealing with topics everyone needs to get to grips with, Hannah doesn’t shy away from the details. The positive message about sex, sexuality and gender has been recognised by MTV and Durex, with multiple awards for the effectiveness her work. Informative and funny, Hannah’s a fantastic guest. Prepare for an essential interview that will deal with some big issues. This one is an instant London Real classic. https://www.youtube.com/user/hannahgirasol

Aubrey de Grey - How To Live Forever
Aubrey de Grey is a true frontiersman, daring to push out against what seems the most natural and unstoppable forces of nature - ageing. He’s not just another voice though, he’s a scientist and identifies ageing as a disease, one that can be cured with the right medicine. His work calls for serious scientific exploration of what causes tissue to age and to then find solutions to those components - what he calls the roadmap to defeat biological ageing. In fact, he believes that the first humans who will live to be 1,000 years old are already alive today! Ageing, and indeed death, are some of the most colossal challenges to humanity biologically and philosophically. De Grey himself, of course, has caused plenty of controversy with his views. Despite, however, a $20,000 prize to disprove the worthiness of de Grey’s studies (put up by himself and MIT and de Grey’s own foundation) his work still stands, capturing the imagination of molecular biologists and the public alike. We’re excited this week to welcome him to London Real. With his impressive beard and extensive knowledge on the subject we’re in for something special. http://www.sens.org

Tai Lopez - How To Become Great
Tai Lopez is no stranger to the London Real hot seat. He believes that most of the success issues that people have, as well as most social issues the world has, could find some solution in getting away from chewing gum entertainment and upping the consumption of history’s genius. To recap on who exactly Tai is - for those who may have missed him first time round - he’s an investor, entrepreneur, author and renaissance man. As a self-made millionaire by his 20s, he has started and overseen the foundation of 20 multi-million dollar companies. He’s formed a business mentorship program and is perhaps best known for his ’67 Steps To The Good Life’ - a distilled and compact course that explores the finest lessons on success, drawn from 8000 years of human thought. Tai also runs the world’s second biggest book club, only to Oprah’s, from his home in the Hollywood Hills. On his search for the Good Life, he’s come to seek knowledge from ancient and modern minds - reading one book a day! At last count his personal library contained over 5000 books. It’s fair to say he likes to read, and the results speak for themselves. Most of us struggle to read just one book every few months, by the end of today’s episode this may change. Enjoy!

Matthew Pritchard - Dirty Sanchez
Matthew Pritchard is one of the founders and faces of Dirty Sanchez, a daredevil show where members of the Sanchez gang would compete and out do one another in serious and risky pranks and stunts - not unlike the infamous American show Jackass. There really wasn’t a limit to what the Sanchez boys would do. Reaching national fame extremely quickly resulted in a spiralling push in crazier stunts and erratic behaviour, even off-camera. A keen skateboarder from the age of 15, Matthew and Dirty Sanchez co-founder Lee Dainton first got together to record bootleg skating videos which often featured pranks. This formed a basis for what would become the TV show, launched by MTV. In a time when there were other shows pushing accepted boundaries one critic said of Dirty Sanchez, “…they make Jackass look like the Royal Shakespeare Company”. While the Sanchez boys have in fact always enjoyed a good relationship with Jackass, this success pushed them for four seasons, spin offs and a movie deal. It was the rockstar life to the full, in all it’s madness and chaos. Matthew himself, is a straight shooter, no bullshit. He’s not afraid to voice his opinion or get honest making this one of the finest guests we’ve had on the show. Dan Peña Event Applications Click Here : http://www.londonreal.tv/pena-event

Nathalie Nahai - Web Psychologist
Recently a photograph collection circulated called ‘The Death of Conversation’. It was a series of black and whites taken of unknowing members of the public who, in social situations, had abandoned conversation in favour of looking at their mobile phones. It went viral and ended up featured in TIME magazine and the New York Times. The most fascinating thing about the photographs is that they show an outsiders perspective of a habit that we all participate in. On many an occasion we opt for the spikes of thrill we can find on opening social media notifications, receiving likes or being retweeted. Social media access follows us around now with our mobile phones, but it’s no accident that we experience psychological reward using these apps. Nathalie Nahai is a web psychologist. An expert exploring just how the design of the web manipulates and heightens our sense of reward. Her book, Webs of Influence, explores just how technology is strategically created with us in mind - to make us click. Want to know why you can’t resist clicking on an article or why you need to check on your notifications regularly? Then you’ll love today’s episode. If you want to master some control over the mini-dopamine rush sought with every click, best understand just how it all works.

How I Meditate - Brian Rose
Meditation is fast becoming a mainstream practice. For a long time it was the mystic discipline of Buddhist monks, the religious and western hippies. These days, however, you’re as likely to find a professional businessman or sportsperson taking time out to find ‘focus’ and be ‘mindful’. It’s not about finding an ecstatic nirvana and bliss as much as nurturing a sense of self or direction, becoming mindful and seeking calm in this manic technological age of ours. Science backs the practice up, meditation will increase your clarity of thought, lower your stress levels and help you manage the madness. Brian is a big advocate of meditation. Today, he’s sharing some of his top tips on stepping back, self-knowledge and finding some stillness.

Guy Kawasaki - The Art of Social Media
Today we speak to Guy Kawasaki, author, entrepreneur and social media expert, he’s worked with some of the biggest companies in Silicon Valley. In the late 80s he worked at Apple, directly under the leadership of Steve Jobs. More recently he’s worked as Google advisor to Motorola. His expertise is coveted and his zero bull approach to work has seen him deliver time and time again. His stories are fascinating, coming from that revolutionarily historic place, only decades ago, that spawned personal computing and the internet as we know it today. He’ll also be sharing some of his insight into what it means to operate on social media. Want to become a social media mover and shaker? Ready to start a brand revolution online and build interactive community around what you do? Companies want to get online, but most of them do it wrong or blow valuable time and resource misfiring their strategy. Kawasaki will be dropping some wisdom.. Remember that we’re giving away signed copies of Kawasaki’s book in our Twitter competition. Pick out the best quotes from the show and tweet them out using #kawasakiquotes. The winners will be selected by Brian and contacted to receive their prize! Also remember that if you’re in the LA area, our very own Brian will be headed to the Tai Lopez conferenceJanuary 30th to 31st. The conference will focus on building a multi-million dollar business and exploding your customer base. Tickets to the conference is available at a killer $97. There’ll be some enormous announcements being made, some brilliant speakers (including past guest Oren Klaff) and of course Tai Lopez himself. Only 5 days to go - sign up today!

How I Aced My TED Talk & Why You Will Too!
Everyone has a TED talk in them. If your first thought is “not me” then get your ass on Youtube and have a look at the hundreds of talks already there. People from all backgrounds, speaking in all languages, communicating life lessons. Sometimes funny and always educational. We’re all on a journey and local TEDx events will feature you if you apply. Find a place that will host you. 1. Throw your hat over the fence. Book yourself on the TED train and make it real. Setting things in motion will be the first step in a journey that will reward you on a thousand levels. Overcome the fear and step up. 2. Craft your speech. Craft is the word. No great peace of writing, art or music dropped first time. Same stands for oration. Writing is rewriting - put the work in on the page. Preparation is more than just writing though. Practice in front of a camera but more importantly practice in front of real people. The greatest stand up comedians spend many shows refining wording that works differently on stage than on the page. Putting in the hard hours will set you apart on the day - your audience will know the difference. 3. Eyes on you, not the Keynote. Less is more when it comes to visuals - your presentation should add to the story, not tell the story. People are turning up for the live experience not a commentated slide show. Guy Kawasaki recommends 10 slides for every 30 minutes of speaking… 4. Get your own people there. Supporters in the crowd will pump your confidence and boost your hype. It’s about more than this though. When the people you know are there, you’ll throw it up a gear and work harder to perfect the speech. Strangers you can walk away from, fans and colleagues - not so easy. Align those cognitive bias, condition the environment so that you up your game. 5. The journey continues when you walk back off stage. That’s right, it’s not completely about the talk. The video gets forgotten or lands out there in cyberspace. The question that will remain is what did you take away from the experience. Answer: personal growth and quantifiable evolution. You’ll have tested yourself in an enormous amount of ways. The philosophy at the very heart of London Real. It’s not about the video or the audience listening, it’s about the challenge of making it happen. It will change you. Do it - no half measures.

Steven Pinker - Too Much Morality REDUX
Only this weekend Mr Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Facebook, announced in his new book club ‘A Year of Books’ that he’d be taking on Stephen Pinker’s ‘The Better Angel’s of Our Nature’. Within hours, the book catapulted on Amazon’s chart from 6,521st to 501st. A timely coincidence for our scheduled REDUX of LondonReal’s 2013 interview with the linguistic and cognitive scientist - there is a real exciting sense that what we in the LondonReal community have known about Pinker for some time will now be known widely. With the rise to prominence of the Islamic State, Boko Haram and events in Paris, Pinker’s message has never been as relevant. We could be mistaken for believing the world is getting darker again but contrary to what seems to be the trend Pinker argues that violence is actually on the decrease. A revolutionary idea in our media driven world where it seems impossible to escape atrocity. He discusses how archaic structures of morality and thinking have been perpetuating conflict, rather than preventing it. Pinker’s work is promoted by philanthropist Bill Gates, who has his own reading blog called Gate’s Notes. On it Gates calls Pinker’s work “important” and heralds him as a great thinker showing us ways that “we can make those positive trajectories a little more likely… a contribution, not just to historical scholarship, but to the world.” The most engaging thing about Pinker as a guest is that as a communicator he is a simple pleasure to listen to, sharing his ideas with both passion and command. This episode is a must. So, before your jump on Amazon to snap up your copy of ‘Better Angels’ and join the Zuckerberg book club, get your fix of LondonReal.

Dan Peña - The 50 Billion Dollar Man
As the high speed train wound its way up the English coast and onto the seas of Scotland I passed the hours by studying the man whom I would soon meet again, Dan Peña. I perused his full dossier: biography, newsletters, videos, and speeches looking for something that would tell me more about the man that I could not yet fully understand. But was I studying my enemy or my future mentor?Six months earlier I had the dubious honour of welcoming the "50 Billion Dollar Man" into my studio in Shoreditch in East London for a two hour interview where I was both repulsed and fascinated by his many accomplishments and accolades. I declared on camera that the London Realers would either "Love him or Hate him" and the subsequent 50,000 views racked up on YouTube quickly answered my question. They loved Dan Peña.

Brian Rose in the hot seat, in the guest chair at London Real, having to answer pretty much anything that is being asked of me. It was a very unique episode and I hope you enjoy it; I have a funny feeling you are either going to love it or hate it. I was brutally honest about many things about my past, some of my shortcomings, probably more about my shortcomings than any successes I have had because that's more my style. I talked about my move to London, the creation of the show, what happened with Nic, whether this is avibale business etc. It's London Real so if I can't sit here an be real I have no business producing the show every week. I was very fortunate to have my good friend Suli Breaks interview me and that was important, it couldn't just have been me talking to the camera or talking to someone I didn't give a shit about, I needed to tell the story to a person. Suli was a good interviewer, he was really curious and is a lot younger than me. He asked me some questions about when I was on Wall Street and what I was doing, why I was so obsessed with making money...really good questions, I am really glad he was there. It's really funny being in the guest chair, all those lights down, it's very intimate. You can go in thinking you might talk about certain things and not others but once you get going its almost out of your control. I finally have empathy with my guests, some of them have sat down with me and told me of their worry of saying something they didn't want to but at the time I dismissed it. It's actually not that easy, once you get flowing in the conversation and people ask you questions it's hard not to answer. Much sympathy and empathy with any of my former guests who answered things that maybe they didn't want to. You'll either love me or hate me more after this, and that's ok. It's all about the realness and the expression and there is something beautiful about the Truth

Ayah Marar - Hussle Girl
On my first meeting with Ayah Marar I got such a warm embrace of positive, maternal energy it felt like my mother, my sister, and Suzy the shaman all rolled up in one!My expectations of the singer/songwriter who tours with the world famous Calvin Harris were quickly dashed and I felt like I was hanging out with a long-time friend. She is humble, honest and real....all the right ingredients for the best episodes of London Real. Moving from Jordan to London at age 18 she quickly got involved in the London music scene and met a very young Calvin Harris whom she would later go on to collaborate with. She tours relentlessly and released her first album "The Real" on her own label, Hustle Girl. Ayah is a woman wise beyond her years and has a maternal energy I rarely see these days. I could quote her for days: "London is the place where anybody can come to start." "If something is real, you'll know it, you'll feel it." "It's the tiniest of things about us that are so important." "If I could live my life on stage, I would." "When you get to the top there is nowhere else to go, so why are you in a rush?" Please join me in welcoming Ayah Marar to the London Real family.

The Culture High
The first reason you need to see the latest documentary by Adam Scorgie is that its already causing conversation. Controversy is the tremor that precedes tomorrow's release for this anticipatd film, which was entirely brought about through a kickstarter campaign Adam’s first smash-hit documentary, The Union, took a closer look at the business of cannabis in British Colombia. It was an immediate success, with it’s mature journalism and alternative angles on the drug debate. The Union, however, paved the way for Adam’s biggest project yet - a comprehensive look at cannabis prohibition, crime, industrialisation of US prisons and the part that the war on drugs plays in it all. The advocacy documentary draws on popular cultural figures, like Joe Rogan and Wiz Khalifa, as well as scientists and legal experts. At the frontline of the ongoing exchange Adam illustrates just how cannabis criminalisation plays a significant part in a vast, inverted and corrupt system despite the science. As fascinating in conception as much as subject, the film is also set apart as a real product of it’s time. In an age where disillusion with mainstream media productions is growing, The Culture High’s production was entirely crowd-funded. Websites like Kickstarter empower people to financially support projects they value. While documentary making is not a particularly lucrative business, Adam’s new film raised above and beyond the target of $190,000 with strong community support, totalling donations at $240,022. London Real’s Brian, Colin and Dre had the opportunity to get to the premiere prior to Adam’s upcoming appearance on the show. Adam has been a guest on the show before and it was about time we had him back - don’t miss him, this Sunday. This is a must see ground-breaking documentary and is available NOW on the above link from Vimeo for $11.69 with the Promo Code "LONDONREAL" (10% off).Order it NOW and Support these amazing Filmmakers.

Robert Kiyosaki - Rich Dad Poor Dad
Robert Kiyosaki is a legend. His groudbreaking book Rich Dad Poor Dad sold 26 million copies and made the bold statement "Don't work for money, make money work for you." WATCH THIS FULL EPISODE FOR FREE: https://londonrealacademy.com/episodes/robert-kiyosaki-rich-dad-poor-dad/ In fact after we recorded this interview I downloaded the audiobook of Rich Dad Poor Dad and listened to it for six hours straight. After taking finance courses from the Sloan School of Management at M.I.T., trading interest rate derivatives on Wall Street, bond futures in Chicago, and credit derivatives in London, I had NEVER heard the controversial and counterintuitive arguments that Robert puts forth. I find it very hard to argue with any of them. So get to work. Seek out the assets in your life and eliminate the liabilities. And this not only includes identifying the "cash flow positive" investments but also the "energy flow positive" relationships in your life too. You can see that Robert and I started going very deep at the end of this conversation when he explained the difference between a free spirit, a warrior spirit, and a corporate spirit. I only wish we could have continued diving deeper...I think Robert really had something he wanted to tell me.Next time. Chapters: 00:00 Trailer. 01:07 Brian’s thoughts on the episode. 07:04 Brian’s Introduction. 07:28 The harder you work for money the poorer you get. 09:40 Seeking children’s education that allows questioning of conventional employment pathways. 11:42 Good debt and bad debt. 13:18 Inside each one of us is a poor person. 14:15 The middle class philosophy for education and employment. 15:20 Importance of service. Robert’s views on war. 16:50 The entitlement mentality, how do we change that? 17:53 Fighting your inner wimp. 19:56 Should children be educated in finance and business? 22:11 Robert’s family still think he should get a pay cheque. 23:14 The major stumbling block for today’s young entrepreneurs. 25:34 How the American tax system benefits entrepreneurs. 29:05 What going into his subconscious allows him to do. 31:23 The secret to having a long marriage. 32:43 Where will the spirit move him next? 34:53 Brian’s summing up. Tai Lopez - Live the Good Life
Tai Lopez is an investor, entrepreneur, author and aspiring renaissance man. When he's not throwing A-list celebrity parties (Tyler Durden of RSD included) in his Hollywood Hills home he's chin-wagging with Warren Buffet and Bill Gates at the annual Berkshire Hathaway meeting. Tai reads a book a day and sends his reviews to 1.2 million of his close, close friends. He's both lived with the Amish for 2 years and started 12 multi-million dollar companies. And that's just the warmup. Tai has a 67 step plan you can follow to "Lead the Good Life" which values Health, Wealth, Love and Happiness. He subscribes to Warren Buffet's #2 man Charlie Munger's "Concept of Inversion" which instructs you to directly avoid those things that will hurt your chances of success. He also believes that humans are subject to 25 Cognitive Biases and that Arnold Schwarzeneggar's concept of "Doing Reps" applies directly to life. He makes a big distinction between Stoics an Epicureans and believe's the "4-hour Workweek" is for people who are doing something they hate. I was impressed by Tai because he's not a self-help guru but instead a man who believes that the really best knowledge has stood the test of time. Enjoy.

Timothy Shieff - Professional Kid
When I chart the evolution of Timothy Shieff, I chart the evolution of myself. For the past 18 months I have watched this young man grow from a short-haired freerunner into a seasoned, spiritual sage. At the same time I too have grown into my own skin, embracing my role as the host of London Real and allowing into my heart the love and positive energy I get every day from all of you around the world. Tim recognises this change in me and wasn't shy about pointing it out! Just a few days after this interview Tim was arrested in a peaceful protest at the Climate Change March in London as he scaled a building in an anonymous mask. Mr. Shieff talks the talk and walks the walk. Would we expect anything different from him? Tim is first and foremost a vegan, a cause that he has embraced wholeheartedly and one that he pursues relentlessly, often times in the face of harsh criticism. But for Tim veganism is a noble cause, a movement that in his mind the world must accept sooner or later. This genuine, selfless spirit makes his arguments so compelling. Big love and much peace to you Timothy Shieff, I look forward to doing this again in 2016.

Alex Ikonn - How To Make Money $$$
WARNING: Before watching this episode you must throw everything you think you know about Alex Ikonn straight out the window. Yes he has the dream life, the dream wife, and the successful career. Yes his YouTube channel is full of videos like "How to Change the WORLD!" and "How to: WIN LIFE" and "How to Create Your Dream Life". But, like every successful entrepreneur that I've ever met, his journey was beset with tragedy, self-doubt, complications, mistakes, and longing for community. Don't let the pastel colours fool you. Alex has practical advice about how anyone can make money by ultimately creating value and thinking about someone else's needs before your own. If you think of any successful business throughout history, they ultimately provided a product that made their customer's lives better. Make yourself valuable and the cash will follow. This episode is not just about success in business but about what to do when you finally achieve all of those things you have wished for your entire life...and then realise you are not any happier. Ultimately Alex learned that life is one continuous growth pattern, and as soon as that stagnates then you will find yourself with a whole new set of problems. Please join me in welcoming Alex to our London Real community.

Ray McGovern - Intelligence Activism
Ray McGovern is quite frankly one bad motherfucker. He was a CIA analyst from 1963 to 1990 beginning under President John F. Kennedy and lasting until the Presidency of George H. W. Bush. From 1981 to 1985 he prepared and presented the President's Daily Brief one-on-one to President Ronald Reagan’s most senior national security advisers including then Vice President George H. W. Bush. In 2003 Ray came out of retirement and founded the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS) which analyses and criticises the use of intelligence. He famously confronted Donald Rumsfeld publicly about lying about W.M.D. and nearly got him to recant his statements. Ray also protested a speech by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by turning his back onkly to be physically removed, double handcuffed and seriously battered and bruised. He did this at the spry age of 71. Please join me in welcoming Ray McGovern to London Real. I consider him a piece of living history and was honoured to be able to speak to him about issues ranging from the Cuban Missile Crisis to the Cold War to Edward Snowden and Julian Assange to the Ukrainian Separatists, Gaza, ISIS and more.

Dustin "Clean" Denes - Chop Certified
Dustin "Clean" Denes is the ultimate competitor and a true example of a fighter from the old school. After training with him in New York City during Christmas in 2013 I learned that he has one speed - "Kill". Upon meeting Antonio Rodrigo Minotauro in Florida in 1999, Dustin followed the MMA fighter and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt back to Brazil to train with him at Carlson Gracie's academy and later at the Brazilian Top Team (BTT). Coincidentally I had the honour of training at the BTT with Murilo Bustamante in 2005 where I met the famous Noguiera during his rein in the Pride Fighting Championship. Dustin believes in sacrifice and that winning is not everything, but the only thing. His MMA career taught him that the art of fighting is about grit and determination and not about the colour of the belt you wear around your gi. These days Dustin travels the world inspiring students on the mat and executives in the boardroom. I hope you enjoy our hour with "Clean" !!

Boki Nachbar - NBA Basketballer
Boki Nachbar has been a fan of London Real from the very early days of split screens and big headphones. In fact when he first contacted me as a former NBA Basketball player with the Houston Rockets and New Jersey Nets, I nearly fell off my chair. I was surprised to learn that such a high calibre athlete was such a big fan of message at London Real. Boki currently plays for FC Barcelona, a club with passionate fans in one of my favourite cities in Europe. He is a huge fan of MMA and the UFC and is of course an avid listener of the Joe Rogan Experience. He also produces is own podcast in Slovenian and has just recently released the first episode in English. It's called The Details Podcast and you can download it Here. Boki just returned from a trip to Africa with UNICEF where he learned about the devastating effects of water shortage and took some time out to teach the children the game of basketball. You can read his blog about it here. If there is one secret to Boki's success that I can pinpoint after meeting him I would say it is his sincere expression of Gratitude. Enjoy!

Steve Maxwell - Ageless
Steve Maxwell is the superhero of every man over 40. At 61 years of age he is in sick shape, trains the best athletes in the world, and learned Jiu-Jitsu from the Gracie Family BEFORE the UFC was ever created. And it doesn't stop there. Steve lives a nomadic lifestyle moving from city to city as a fitness instructor with no fixed residence. In fact he refuses to use a travel bag with wheels forcing him to physically carry everything he owns. What man hasn't dreamed of living like this? To have a conversation with Steve is to delve into the legendary tales of the emergence of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in America via the Gracie family and the UFC. On top of that he personally trains Joe Rogan and has witnessed first hand his devastating Taekwondo side kicks. And don't get me started about hanging with the Barstarzz crew....now that's Gangster. Steve is a big proponent of gratitude and positive thinking and believes that everything in life happens for a reason. I couldn't ask for a more tailor-made guest on London Real. Godspeed Steve!

Robert Greene - BLAST FROM THE PAST
Author Robert Greene talks about the reaction to his best-selling books "The 48 Laws of Power" and "The Art of Seduction", what he learned from rapper 50 Cent when co-writing "The 50th Law", how Machiavelli was never a powerful man, and why it is most important to first know yourself and then follow your instincts.

Tim Ferriss - BLAST FROM THE PAST
This week we bring you a blast from the past. Entrepreneur, tangoist and author Tim Ferriss stops by to talk about Meta-learning in his new book The 4-Hour Chef, why he consumes magic mushrooms for his annual "Ego Reset", the pros and cons of using the pharmaceutical Modafinil, and why he's chosen not to be a Silicon Valley venture capitalist.

Peter Joseph - The Zeitgeist Movement
The opportunity to sit down with Peter Joseph is a unique chance to capture a moment in time with one of the great thinkers of our generation. His first breakthrough film Zeitgeist: The Movie in 2007 was an unexpected success and he founded The Zeitgeist Movement on the back of his 2nd film Zeitgeist: Addendum. Peter proceeded to release two additional films and produced a satirical Web series called Culture in Decline. Engineering a leaderless movement is a conundrum itself, which is why Peter rarely does interviews and instead prefers to let the movement ideals speak for themselves. In order to understand all of the tenets of The Zeitgeist Movement I recommend reading the TZM Defined Book available here. What's next for Peter? He has been busy working on a live-action genre with his InterReflections Trilogy expected in the next few years. After producing works of documentary and satire, we can expect a new angle. As Peter says, "The beauty of art is that it sneaks behind your ego."

Ivan Farneti - Glory Kickboxing
As we continue to watch the rise and rise of Mixed Martial Arts via the UFC, it's hard not to recognise the exciting things going on in at GLORY World Series of Kickboxing. If you like stand-up fighting like I do, the action packed 3 rounds of 3 minutes truly deliver and the 8 man, single night tournament is the ultimate display of toughness. GLORY Board Member Ivan Farneti is an former technology startup guy who is now in the Fight Game and loving it. He is building this brand from the ground-up which ultimately means making it a success in America and online. Glory's embraces social media feels and technology making it stand out from your typical old school media company. With traditional boxing putting me to sleep these days (sorry Mayweather that was my last pay per view) I'm excited to see an ambitious organisation like GLORY bringing us the best in Kickboxing worldwide.

Ido Portal - Just Move
To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about Ido Portal. The cult of Ido Portal is a wave of information, videos, and interviews about a mysterious man from Israel who's not afraid to call out Crossfitters and Vegans alike, who stands on one hand and preaches "self dominance". I watched his videos and interviews and wondered, "But what is this man really like?" And then I found out. Arriving with what looked like his worldly possessions in a backpack, I met a man on a journey who is trying to spread his ideas on movement one person at a time. In the age of internet marketing and self-help gurus, Ido has no interest in publishing a book because he thinks it is only a static snapshot of his thoughts at that time and more importantly it is a poor way of communicating his ethos of movement. I would tell you more but Ido does it so much better, so sit back and relax (or better yet squat) as I let him do the talking. I've met over 200 people in my studios and gazed deep into their eyes. I believe this man Ido Portal is something very special.
