End-Time Surprises Dr. Richard Ruhling pt 2 As we witness tensions continue to escalate across the Middle East, many people are starting to wonder, “Are these the end times as described in the Bible?”  You’ve heard me interview many people on this topic and, almost to a person – the answer is “YES.” Now, on the topic of “WHEN” – they begin to differ. But the main point is – WE ARE ALREADY in the end times. We see Israel at war with Hamas – and instead of supporting Israel’s right to defend itself and eliminate the threat from within their borders forever, the world is condemning Israel. Some even condone the attacks of October 7thsaying “Hamas was defending itself against Israel aggression.” Add in the Huthi rebels threatening international shipping and the United States trying to defend the ships by attacking the Iranian backed rebels… Add in the recent drone attacks by Iranian backed militia in Jordan.  This was identified several months ago by President Biden and the Defense Department as a “red line” that should not be crossed. Well, they crossed it. So the question now is, “What will happen next?” All of the tensions are linked back to Iran. Hamas, Hezbollah, etc. Is the United States about to go to war against Iran? Surviving the First Five Minutes of a School Shooting Daniel Dluzneski pt 2 We have all seen the news reports of active shootings taking place in schools, businesses and things like that. We have all watched as parents grieve and people ask, “Why?” “Why did this happen?” “What could have been done differently?” We all remember Columbine… it was after that event that “active shooter” training started to be taught to law enforcement. I had to go through it as a police officer. I prayed I would never need to use it… but I was ready if it ever took place. You don’t have time for S.W.A.T. in most cases.  In fact, you don’t really have time for the police to arrive before you take some kind of action.  This is now taught to churches, businesses and schools across the country. At the first indication of an active shooter, the first five minutes are the most important for your survival and those you love and care about. If you do the right thing in those first few minutes, your chances of survival jump immensely. Remember the adage, “When you need help now, the police are only minutes away.” Our guest today specializes in conducting “Active Shooter Training” for schools and businesses. Daniel Dluzneski is a retired 24 year member of US Secret Service Agency. The Former Coordinator for Emergency Management, Safety and Security for the Pinellas County Schools in Florida and the author of very important book titled, appropriately, “The First Five Minutes: School Shooting Survival Guide for Administrators and Teachers.” This is part two and the conclusion of a very important interview that needs to be shared far and wide in this day and time in which we live... I remember when we were running active shooter drills with our department, we were a State Police agency and had state buildings, etc. to protect, as well as infrastructure, etc.  Without going into all of the details because I don’t want to give away tactics, etc. in case someone is listening…  we knew the initial responding officers would be the ones to make entry. Faster and more detailed.  Because of this, medical facilities run sort of a “production line” of people in and out of the offices and hospitals. Gone are the days when doctors actually “knew ”their patients.  And the patients trusted the doctor because they believed he understood them and did not treat them as line item on a spreadsheet. Out of the Darkness Richard LaMonica How many of you served in the military or know someone, a loved one perhaps, that served. These last twenty years have seen a lot of tragedy. Our military members have suffered the brunt of everything that has gone on. For some, most of their careers were spent during a time of war. Richard LaMonica served 22 years in the US Army.  He seen it all. After he retired, life was not easy. But, through perseverance and hard work, he is making a difference. He is now helping other vets to get their life back. Richard is the author of two books, “13 Step Guide to Success,” and also a fiction book, “Out of the Darkness.”   He is also a coach, speaker and also the host of a podcast, “TheMisFitNation” podcast. Other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Richard LaMonica?” Like me, all you ever wanted to do was join the Army. I enlisted in September of my senior year and left for basic training 7 days after graduation. But yours took a little different route, correct? What was your MOS in the Army? When I left service, I thought I would be able to get a job fairly quickly – but soon found out that was not the case.  As I was contemplating my unique skill set, I realized there was not much opportunity for someone whose skill set was being trained to engage and destroy and make the other guy die for his country. Despite the leadership training, detailed planning, etc., it took me quite a while to find a good paying job. When you left service, you also found it a little difficult to get a job, correct? It took me quite a while to actually make the mindset transition from the military mindset to a civilian mindset. I’m talking about, “Something needs to be done – just do it.” Mission accomplishment, no matter how small the mission. In the civilian sector, it seemed like they were living by the adage of “Let’s put off till tomorrow that which could be accomplished today.”  Did you find the same thing? Defeating Adversity Through Writing  Lori Keesey She’s written for daily newspapers and trade publications and her freelance work has appeared in regional and trade magazines, specifically those specializing in space exploration. Yes, Lori was a space junkie, and worked for NASA in public outreach for nearly 20 years. She calls herself and “accidental entrepreneur” and started the “Accidental Blogger” to help build an author platform, where she shares stories of overcoming adversity. She knows a thing or two, unfortunately, about that subject, as she faced her own tragedy when she lost her 33 year old son. Lori Keesey considers herself among the lucky. Recently retired, Lori enjoyed a 40-plus-year career as a writer and now has time to pursue her childhood dream of writing fictional characters who make a difference. She is launching her first novel, “Always Think of Me” in April of 2024. I read you worked for nearly 20 years with NASA in public outreach. I’ve been an avid space nut since about the age of 3. One of my earliest memories is watching Scott Carpenter on the first American suborbital flight in 1962.  In fact, I just returned from a trip to south Texas where I visited Stargate, where Elon Musk is launching his rockets.  So I have to be careful and not let our conversation today start to take on a flight all its own… Let’s start with what motivated you to begin the “Accidental Blogger.”  Was it a way to deal with your son’s death? I read that you came to the realization that he belonged to God his whole life, and was just “on loan to you” until his mission was completed. How did you come to that realization? I read that you came to the realization that tragedy comes in different forms our entire life. Can you explain for us what you mean by that? You also said that you measure time differently now. You reference pre and post tragedy. Do you find others use the same time measure after their experiences? People react differently when they experience some sort of tragedy. Some are angry, others sad. Still some have regret. Are all of these just moving through the different stages of grief differently or are they truly dealing with it in different manners? You also interviewed John Carter Cash about dealing with his addiction and, I guess you could say, how it runs in the family. What was the one thing you took from that interview that still sticks in your mind today? Increase Your Influence Trudy Beerman In today’s society, money is often the focus of, well – everything!  Even if you do not want to focus on money – the fact you are trying NOT to focus on money has you focused on money! Have you ever watched a movie and you could see some aspects that “seem” to reflect Biblical events or themes, but, it did not seem “just right” in some way? Of course, PTSD is something that a lot of military veterans are suffering from, but it does not just apply to veterans, does it? Last time you shared how heart healing can, well, “heal” PTSD.  But a lot of people that suffer with or suffered with PTSD, may have hurt a lot of those they are close to along the way. Is that what you are referring to as “making things right after PTSD?” This involves more than just saying “I’m sorry.” Correct? A Brand in Your Hand Glenn Rudin If you are in business, or you have a podcast, etc. – you are establishing your brand. This brand is what distinguishes you from others out in the world. If I mention the word, “COKE” – what comes to mind. For the majority of you, probably the soda drink, “Coca-Cola.” But what if nobody knew what that was? I remember, when I first joined the Army. The Fall of a Nation TS Wright Scott Wright is back with us today as we continue to study details about the nation of Israel that, for some, may have never heard before.  Scott is the author of the “God Centered Concept Journal” and has a unique insight into prophecy and the end times. Last time, you shared information on the importance of God establishing that Israel was to have only “one place of worship,” which was the Temple. As Moses taught, the Temple was built according the “vision and instructions” he received directly from God… The Temple was also where God was to always have His presence in and among the people of Israel. I guess we can start with this question. If God had His presence in and among His people – why did the Israelites fall so far out of God’s Grace until they actually lost their nation? You shared before that Israel, basically split up into differing factions. Did this accelerate their “fall from Grace?” I can see this happening in the United States right now.  We used to “One Nation Under God” – but we are far, far from that now.  That must have been what it was like for Israel as well, right? What about the Synagogues? They were supposed to be local gathering places where the people could have easy access to and hear the Word taught, etc.  Much like our local churches are today. Was that a contributing factor to split into factions? It would be like the Catholics and Protestants and Methodists and Baptists, etc.? Right? Scott, this is so interesting. Folks, as Scott has shared with us, taking different “factions” and splitting into different groups, is not always a good thing. But more importantly, it can destroy the Faith of a nation. We have seen it happen with Israel, as Scott has shared. We have seen it happen here, in this nation as well. We used to be “One Nation Under God.” Now, that statement is far from being true anymore. As sad as that sounds, it can be fixed. It cannot be fixed in the natural. You cannot rely on Congress to “fix it.” It has to start with our hearts. I’m talking about our Spiritual Hearts.  We have to start with our relationship with God. End It For Good Christina Dent We are well aware that drug addictions are, basically, a pandemic in our society today. It is not only a problem in major metropolitan cities, but it literally crosses all social and economic boundary’s. I know. I was addicted to pain killers a few back after almost 7 years of use.  My father had a drug problem. One of my brothers as well. My guest today in Christina Dent, the founder and president of “End It For Good,” a 501-c-3 non-profit formed in 2019.  Christina Dent is a politically conservative Christian, who supported criminalizing drugs, until she became a foster parent and saw, up close, the negative effects the current system was perpetuating on those who needed the most help. She researched why drug-related harm was not decreasing and she became convinced it was because the criminal justice system is simply the wrong tool to be used for addressing the drug problem. Christina was on our program a couple of years ago and we had a great, in-depth conversation about her efforts to help correct the societal problem of criminalizing those who use drugs instead of creating real solutions to the issue. 2024 Prophetic Almanac Bill JenkinsWell, 2023 has come and gone. It’s been an “interesting year” to say the least. We’ve seen Christianity attacked in this nation like never before. We’ve seen politicians just, basically, surrendering the sovereignty of this nation. We’ve seen natural disasters on a scale that, some say, has not happened for hundreds, if not a thousand years.We have Israel at war – and the mounting pressures from nations around the world are continuing to condemn Israel for defending themselves rather than condemning the attackers and the nations supporting the terrorists. Can I add – just like the Bible says will happen? Amen?But, for believers though, this is not a time of doom and gloom!&nbsp;&nbsp;Far from it. We are told by Jesus in Luke 21:28 that&nbsp;“When these things begin to take place, look up, for your redemption is drawing near!”&nbsp;&nbsp;Amen!With all that is happening, wouldn’t it be nice to have a peek at what is going to happen in the Spirit this year?&nbsp;&nbsp;It takes someone with a special gift from God to be able to do that without sounding like a soothsayer or a nut job, right! It takes someone anointed by God with this gift to lay things out - in a logical format.&nbsp;&nbsp;And that is what my guest will do today!Our guest today is Pastor Bill Jenkins of the Destinyland Christian Center in Rancho Cucamonga, California. They cite the toll the war is taking on their economy, etc. But is this in response to international pressure as well? As we see the Israeli war with Hamas, let’s just say, “evolving,” what do you see as far as future implications on this situation? Egypt put forth a peace plan, but it has not gained any traction… Have you seen anything about Hezbollah in the north? The Navy has been protecting shipping in the area.  What have you seen there? In Luke 21, the Bible talks about “this generation will by no means pass away until all these things take place.”  I believe we are that generation.  This has also been claimed by “other generation,” what makes you believe this applies uniquely to us, today? The Fit and Healthy Reset Reece &amp; Michale Hartte If you’re a busy woman, you probably don’t have hours of spare time to doing the research and finding a weight loss plan online that would work for your lifestyle. How long did the transformation take for you? How fast did you begin to see positive results? What was it about that program that made you think, “I can do this?” Reece, what were you doing during this time frame as far as your health? I saw the documents on your website about your propensity to have bone fractures at age 31 and then again at age 51. Share with our listeners the difference in those medical statements, 20 years apart… How do you help people that reach out to you?  What is the process for onboarding them into your system? From the Wilderness  Chastity Dawn Chastity Dawn grew up as a Christian in the mid-west. Her background was in the denominational church and thought all was good.  In about 2010, she visited a non-denominational church and found out what it meant to have a true “relationship with God.” Amen! When the COVID shutdowns happened, she found herself wondering how she would continue her walk without church to lean on. She soon found herself in the midst of turmoil in a personal relationship, out of a job and life spiraling out of control. Not a strict, 15 minutes on our knees in a particular place, altar or prayer bench or inside our closet… whatever… We can spend time with God in anyplace – even the car or at our desk.
