Artist Spotlight with Jesse Lauter
Jesse Lauter is a rock-doc/concert film director, music producer/engineer/mixer, and DJ. His production credits include artists such as the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Stephen Stills & Judy Collins, and Ben Harper, among others. Jesse directed, produced and co-edited Learning To Live Together: The Return of Mad Dogs & Englishmen about Joe Cocker's Mad Dogs & Englishmen tour, featuring the late Leon Russell, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Rita Coolidge and Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes, among others. The movie premiered at the Woodstock FIlm Festival, made its international premiere at the Raindance Film Festival, and won Best Music Film at the Prague and Amsterdam International Film Festivals. Jesse was the Executive Producer of Bob Dylan In The 80s: Volume One, a tribute album to Bob Dylan’s overlooked 1980s catalog, and of Sincerely, L. Cohen: A Live Celebration of Leonard Cohen, a tribute concert that took place in Brooklyn after the passing of Leonard Cohen.In addition, he is currently the producer of The Relix Sessions on Twitch, a weekly live-stream concert series with the largest viewership of a music channel on the Twitch platform.
