RPRT31 | Two Dudes Farting Around (w/ Lance & Mike)

Right Place Right Time, episode… who even knows. Today’s lesson, class, involves Mike and Lance, who have clearly decided that the mature, enlightening topic of “Top 5 Farts and Butts” was worth a full segment of your time. Yes, that’s right. Instead of meaningful discourse, we were treated to a juvenile fascination with bodily functions. Oh, the intellectual heights they aim for.Next up, they attempt to discuss “What Heaven Looks Like,” as if the theological implications of the afterlife could be competently addressed by these two. Spoiler alert: their heaven probably looks like the inside of a comic book shop, because, yes, they veered into comic book nerdom once again. Somehow, they’re trying to convince you it’s all about “finding story.”Speaking of story—if you can call it that—there’s a lot of talk about editing. Apparently, they’ve stumbled enough in life and podcasting to think that fumbling around is an essential part of the creative process. “What you learn from stumbling” is the key takeaway here, as though their very inability to stick to one topic is somehow insightful. In summary, children, today’s lesson from Mike and Lance is this: even the most absurd meandering conversation can be stretched into something resembling entertainment. I suppose we can consider this a lesson in persistence… if nothing else.---------------------------------Music by Mitch Murder►Buy tix: www.eventbrite.com/e/nightingale-t…f=ebdsshcopyurl►Mike Pecci's IG: instagram.com/mikepecci►Lance's Instagram: www.instagram.com/golancego/►Dylan's IG; www.instagram.com/dylan_coates/►ILWP's IG: instagram.com/inlovewiththeprocesspod Hosted on Acast. RPRT27 | Becoming a S.T.A.L.K.E.R

Another whisper ripples through the collective consciousness. This week's transmission of Right Place Right Time is a dense nexus of creative minds converging upon a tale born in shadow: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of the Zone. Mike and Lance commune with the architects of this vision—writers, co-directors, and the shadowed figure of the producer, each a node in the web of this adaptation.Fragments of their words echo through the ether. The writers, Evan Muir and Isaiah Nichols, weavers of dark, twisted fates, speak of a world both familiar and fractured—like a memory half-erased but still lingers. The co-directors…Stephen Hancock and Evan Muir, their minds pulse in synchrony. They share visions, build upon each other’s thoughts. There is talk of atmosphere—of cold, mist-laden winds and the quiet dread that suffocates even the most brazen souls. Each shot, each frame, crafted to ensnare, to unnerve. And the producer Joshua Gray—calculated, ever-conscious of the flow of resources—lays bare the labyrinth of logistics, the careful dance of creation amidst chaos.Listeners, beware. To step into the Zone, even through the medium of film, is to surrender a part of yourself. As this episode of Right Place Right Time fades, it leaves us with a warning, one not spoken but felt—a deep, unsettling truth. The Zone watches. It waits.----------------------------Music by Mitch Murder►Joshua Gray's IG: https://www.instagram.com/joshuagraynyc?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==►Stephen Hancockis' IG: https://www.instagram.com/retrodigitalmedia?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==►Evan Muir's IG: https://www.instagram.com/evan_royalty?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==►Isiah Nichols' IG: https://www.instagram.com/wendigoonactual?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==►Mike Pecci's IG: instagram.com/mikepecci►Lance's Instagram: www.instagram.com/golancego/►ILWP's IG: instagram.com/inlovewiththeprocesspod Hosted on Acast. RPRT26 | Nightingale (w/ Mike & Lance)

In this episode of Right Place Right Time, Mike and Lance dive deep into the art of storytelling as Lance reflects on his ambitious one-man adaptation of HBO’s Nightingale (yes, the dark, twisty 2014 gem written by Frederick Mensch). Nightingale explores themes of isolation and the pursuit of something we cannot have.Who hasn't been there?!The duo gets into the nitty-gritty of collaboration and why bringing others into your creative process can elevate your work in unexpected ways. Lance shares how shifting his perspective of success was the key to unlocking personal happiness—a refreshing reminder that success in Hollywood often means letting go of rigid expectations. They also touch on the power of building empathy, not just on stage, but in everyday interactions. As Lance’s performance beckons audiences to walk in someone else’s shoes, this episode encourages us all to consider the importance of connection and understanding.Nightingale makes its world premiere on November 8th at Atwater Village Theatre in Glendale, CA. If you’re in the area, tickets are available now.---------------------------------Music by Mitch Murder►Nightingale Tickets: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/nightingale-tickets-1014821667927?aff=ebdssbdestsearch►Mike Pecci's IG: instagram.com/mikepecci►Lance's Instagram: www.instagram.com/golancego/►ILWP's IG: instagram.com/inlovewiththeprocesspod Hosted on Acast.
