He's worked as a Senior Producer for Fox's Season 1 of Farmer Wants a Wife as well as helped create shows such as Holely Moley and The Real Love Boat. Jannik had the pleasure to work side by side with Nick on Farmer Wants a Wife and found out just how much creativity pours out of this man. Robert Mai creates musical scores for films, video games and commercials. Having experience in a variety of creative positions on and off set has allowed Robert to look at the role of music in visual media holistically. Afterall, the music should accentuate something this is already present not tell the audience how to feel. At least Robert and I think so. He describes taking on the role of an actor when he communicates with the directors he is composing for. An approach that I certainly appriciated when Robert scored one of my short films. #16 Lauren Sage Browning | Poetic Writing

A woman so multitalented we hardly had enough time to cover it all. Lauren is a playwright, director, graphic designer, author and filmmaker. During our remote conversation Lauren flipped the script on us in a question free-for-all using her self help book Heart Gym as a guide. We also covered her road show play, a bi-coast movie project and the real reason for her recent relocation to London. Traveling is as much a theme in Lauren's creations a Gonzoesque infusion of her personal life. Tomer works as a camera operator and assistant camera in LA. He's known to be the family historian throughout his life and has continued that calling as a documentarian. #7 Conner Wayne Brown | Mining Trauma

In this episode, we're headed to the wild wild west; the Pacific Northwest to be specific. Conner Wayne Brown comes with an extensive knowledge of the performing arts. Whether it's acting in a lead role, directing stage plays and musicals, or teaching acting to children of all ages, this man lives and breathes theater (or, going by the more politically correct term, "thespian"). Conner's career in stage directing was on the up and up until it came to a sudden stop following the events of the pandemic. With the dreams and ambitions of art and directing still in mind, he moved to filmmaking as a way to continue his goals. With a lot of talented acting connections from past colleagues and a little help from the criterion collection, he's brought his knowledge from stage directing to make features and shorts with a micro budget approach to filmmaking. Now obviously, as Jannik and Hayden are such great hosts, we ask the real pressing questions and get to the heart of what it means to be a director and the hopes to answer the true meaning of art... I'm just joking. We mostly just joke around and try to out-funny one another. It's definitely worth a listen. There's a lot of heart in this episode even if we're just a bunch of wild and crazy guys. #6 Lucian Morfa | Great Attention to Detail

This week on whatever we call this thing, ummmmm, Have Yet to Make It... Yet??? Our guest is Lucian Morfa. Lucian, who also goes by Luci, has been killing it in the Atlanta, Georgia film industry. She is primarily a script supervisor for narrative films but has also shown interest in joining the wonderful people of the Art Department. During a two month long gig as a set dresser in Athens, Georgia, Hayden was looking for an Art Assistant to help him with his relationship issues, genetic trauma, and his constant need for validation... I mean... oh... to assist him with art... yeah... art. He was given a great recommendation for Lucian and she agreed to tag along with the goofball. To quote Lucian, "At least the money was good". As part 2 of 2 for our Production Assistant special, we learn why Luci wanted to join film, how the film scene is like in Atlanta, and some tips and tricks in starting a network to help land film jobs. #5 Kelsey Cooper | Native Storytelling

Kelsey Cooper just recently worked as a Production Assistant for Jannik on his last gig as a Set Dresser. She is currently in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where film production has recently expanded over the last few years. Oklahoma's film hub, which Kelsey calls "Native Hollywood", has helped create more representation for Native American storytelling on Cherokee land. With a Masters degree in Indigenous People's Law and experience as an activist, Kelsey has turned to filmmaking with hopes to help spread awareness of her native heritage and further connect with her Cherokee roots through the art of storytelling. He is extremely talented as an actor and is hoping to use his talents to become a well renowned filmmaker. Having just recently moved to LA, Nathan is stepping into the film world with enthusiasm that one might call contagious.
