Grady Judd began his career at the Polk County Sheriff ’s Office in 1972 as a dispatcher and shortly began serving as the youngest deputy in the department's history at the age of 21. Kent had the opportunity to sit down with former U.S. Congressman and the new Distinguished Professor of Political Science at Southeastern University, Dennis Ross. During his time in the U.S. legislature, Congressman Ross worked on numerous initiatives relating to veterans affairs, national security, education, economics, and government operations. He was also the Senior Deputy Majority Whip under Majority Whip Steve Scalise. Recently it was announced that former Congressman Ross will be spearheading the American Center for Political Leadership, a new think tank that I’m proud to say is based in Lakeland, Florida.
