Hilltop Recovery is a local community partner here in Temple, TX that engages the women in our community and walks through life with them...no matter how dark that journey may seem.   Tanya shares a portion of her life testimony, how God moved to get her involved with Hilltop, the struggles and joy of running a recovery ministry, and so much more. On this episode of The Collage, we speak with our friend Shawn. Shawn showed up at Feed My Sheep this summer and has become part of our family. Shawn has been on quite an adventure the last few years. He walked from Ft. Worth,TX to Minnesota...then from there...to Florida, then to Pennsylvania....then back to TX. Now he is in Temple,TX and we are excited to be in the next chapter of his story.  Shawn has become an integral part of the feed my sheep family, running the locker room and encouraging anyone he comes into contact with. On this episode of The Collage, we had the privilege of sitting down with our friend Misty, or as we like to call her Bama...which turns out to be an odd nickname for someone originally from Texas. Misty has truly been a God send to the Feed My Sheep community and we are so thankful to have her with us. On this episode, the conversation lead to the topic of hope.  What is hope? What happens when we lose hope?  Most importantly we speak about the hope that does not disappoint which is our hope in Jesus. Misty is a carrier of this hope and she shows it to every person that walks through the doors of Feed My Sheep. She brings so much joy to people's lives. We are truly honored to have her with us.

 On this episode of The Collage, we spoke with our friend Brent. Brent is a husband, father, brother, friend, and also the Recovery Pastor at Vista Community Church in Temple. In our discussion, Brent shares his own testimony of how Jesus really stepped into his life and freed him from his own addictions. We also spoke about the loss of his brother, the impact that had on his life, and how the Lord was faithful through all of it. Brent wanted to mention that his brother had such an impact on his life that he named his youngest son after him.
