I recently got an opportunity to interview Rener Gracie – a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, coach, author and entrepreneur. If you’re unfamiliar with the Gracie family, they are widely regarded as one of the most accomplished family dynasties in martial arts history. Ok, so what does Jiu-Jitsu have to do with financial advising? Well, for starters, BJJ is a complex sport with thousands of techniques and moves. Not only can learning the moves be challenging, but knowing which ones to use and when to use them, can get overwhelming quickly.
