Eric's Bio:
Wisconsin born singer-songwriter Eric W. Krueger's solo work takes a turn from his other projects (Leading the Blind, Hallorann, Sunday Flood, A-Town Unplugged, Mark Steven Hillstrom band) through a balance of detailed narratives, melody & dissonance, and rhythm.
At age 12, one of his older brothers took him to his first local punk rock show, which truly planted a motivational seed to create. Eric joined Fox Valley band Treehouse in 1995, and later that year at 16 formed the Appleton, WI rock band Sunday Flood with his best friends, putting out a handful of releases and touring the Midwest.
Along the way, Eric formed Hallorann with Sunday Flood bandmate Mike Allen, writing songs that didn't quite fit the mold of SF - acoustic, melodic, jagged. His solo work continues down a similar path, blending influences ranging from singer-songwriters like James Taylor & Neil Young to rock influences like Decendents, Hum, and Sunny Day Real Estate.
Rarely turning down an opportunity to create, he's played with a number of Fox Valley bands: Surface to Air, Likefinewine, Shallows, Old Nails, and the Mark Steven Hillstrom Band. Eric currently performs with local acoustic band A-Town Unplugged, writes and plays with Appleton rock band Leading the Blind, and can often be found playing acoustic LTB shows with friend and songwriting partner Marty Paschke.
A debut solo release is in the works for 2022.
