Marian has been floating in and out of our news feeds with videos of people walking around an open space with projectors showing a home floor plan at full scale. This week Eddie and Tyler sit down with Benjamin Crosby of Yates Construction to talk about VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) and BIM (Building Information Modeling). Since Eddie and Tyler both make their living in the BIM/VDC world, it's good to have a reality check every once in a while. Benjamin provides that insight! Benjamin's focus is to build a unified team to complete a successful project. He believes that a high level of communication and cooperation are produced with VDC, which brings all the players together to focus on the project as a whole.  As Director of BIM (Building Information Modeling), Benjamin is responsible for all the BIM projects Yates is currently completing.  He is also educating Yates' management in the general application of BIM policies, techniques, and benefits.
