Research shows that 9 out of 10 churches in the United States are segregated. This means that if you randomly visit any church in America, there is a 90% chance that the congregation will be all black, all white, all Asian, all Hispanic, etc. This makes the Church one of the most segregated organizations on the planet. Because of this racial segregation in the Body of Christ, the Church is ineffective in effecting change in the culture.

Many countries in our world have systematic inequalities where some people are held back and others are promoted based on race, gender, age, education, etc. This shouldn't be, but one day God dropped into my spirit that faith does not care about inequalities. Having a strong desire for something can deceive you into thinking that you have faith for it. However, wanting something badly is not faith. Faith is not a strong desire; it is believing that you will receive the object of your desire. God usually doesn't give us instructions in an audible voice. The Bible teaches us that God speaks to us through an unction from the Holy Spirit. For lack of a better phrase, we will have a feeling from God that leads us to do a particular thing. This means we have to interpret that feeling to find the correct course of action God desires for us take. Therefore, we have to be very careful not to allow our traditions (i.e., the way we have always seen things done) misinterpret an unction from God.

Negative thoughts and words will put your life in a tailspin. However, thoughts of success manifest words of instruction to our body and ministering angels to bring our success to pass.

A religion is a belief system that explains life to its followers. Every human and every culture has a religion. For example, one belief system says that humans evolved from lower life forms. Another belief system says humans can have sex with whomever they desire without rules. As Christians we have a belief system that explains how God created us and how He expects us to live. Our biggest challenge is to not allow the culture we live in to convert us to their religion because following their religion removes the power God has given us through Jesus Christ.

In today's message, I want to encourage you to lean on God's protection in times of trouble.  When situations look unwinnable is good to remind ourselves that God is our refuge and fortress.

Most of us hate waiting. And our current society is designed to make us discontent with waiting for anything. Everything must happen now. However, we need to learn patience because it is the key to our success. In today's message, I am examining why patience is the missing ingredient to manifestation. You will discover that you need to be patient with other people and yourself.

I talked a lot last week about how we are not receiving answers to our prayers because of a lack of faith. However, one listener questioned if that was true because in 2nd Corinthians chapter 12 Paul asked God to remove his "thorn in the flesh," and it appears that God said no because it was good for him to have that thorn. If Paul's thorn was sickness and this interpretation of scripture is correct, one could say that God uses sickness to teach us something, and healing is not always God's will, even if we have faith. To explore this idea, in today's message, I am answering the question "Did God deny Paul's request for healing?"

When many Christians pray to receive their desires and needs, the prayer usually ends with the expression, "if it be Thy will."
