The Word for 2020 is Clarity (Part IV)

The Word for 2020 is Clarity (Part IV)

The word God spoke to my heart for 2020 was clarity. In particular, that those of us who implement their calling in clarity would experience unprecedented levels of success. However, in the midst of 2020 a global economic shutdown has occurred, so does that mean the word for this year is wrong? No. In fact, the global crisis is acting like a purifier that is clarifying (if we allow it) our callings to the core, which will produce callings that are sweet offerings to the Lord that are positioned for acceleration. Through faith receive your due season (Daily Word)

Through faith receive your due season (Daily Word)

It may seem like you have been working endlessly to accomplish your vision with little to no success. But whatever God has called you to do, it has a due season for success. However, the caveat to receiving your due season is not to quit and not to lose faith. Listen to today's Daily Word and build up your faith to step into your due season. Don't allow a global shutdown to crush your vision (Faith Chat)

I'm sitting on the back porch tonight and felt led to record a faith chat. What is on my heart is to encourage you to not let this global shutdown crush your vision.  Yes, for some, the vision may have to pause for a moment, but it's just a pause — nothing else. For others, your vision needs to continue functioning during the shutdown.  Listen in to explore this with me tonight. Links: Ministry School Partnership

Don’t ask why, just keep pressing until victory (Daily Word)

Don’t ask why, just keep pressing until victory (Daily Word)

As you are implementing the calling God has given you, unfortunately bad situations will occur along your journey. However, when a bad situation happens, don't focus on why it happened, instead just ask God to fix it and keep pressing until you receive victory. Asking why is a waste of energy and time, and usually doesn't yield satisfactory answers. There is a peace in not focusing on the bad, but continually pressing toward good. Faith and science can work together to solve problems (Daily Word)

Finding solutions to problems such as a global health crisis is not faith versus science, rather it is faith guiding science. When faith and science attack each other, we significantly increase the time it takes to solve problems. Listen to today's Daily Word to learn more about this concept. Faith doesn't believe in facts (Faith Discussion)

Faith is not "see it then believe it." Instead, it is "believe it then see it." Faith brings your desires into the present. Faith doesn't stop working just because our calling is challenged by a world crisis. Faith doesn't believe in facts. Faith changes facts. Faith dictates your calling, not the facts of circumstances. Receive what your faith can receive now (Faith Discussion)

Receive what your faith can receive now (Faith Discussion)

God has many powerful promises in His word, like living without debt, in perfect health, and lacking nothing. These promises are accessed through our faith, but let’s face it: Our faith may come up short. However, don’t get in condemnation, because the promises of God are not all or nothing. God meets us at our current level of faith, so we can walk partially in His promises until we develop our faith to walk fully in them. Receive what your faith can receive now. How do we know who is prophesying correctly?

How do we know who is prophesying correctly?

I had a strong leading from God in my spirit to explore with you the question of “How do we know who is prophesying correctly?” Why? Because in times of crisis, many people rise up and declare “what thus saith the Lord is.” If you just casually glance at social media, this is not too hard to find (especially since everyone is preaching online these days). One prophet says this. Yet another says that. And what they say is contradicting. We know God is not the author of confusion, so someone is wrong. In today's message, let's study the scriptures together and discover how to determine who is right and who is wrong. Links: Ministry School Partnership

Don’t be ashamed to charge money in times of need

This economic slowdown is very temporary

It has been about two weeks since economies in many countries came to a near standstill. Because this is so unprecedented, it has caused many people to be fearful. However, the Holy Spirit pointed out a few scriptures to me that show this economic slowdown and social distancing are very temporary. In today’s Daily Word, I will explore these scriptures with you. Could this crisis refocus your calling?

Could this crisis refocus your calling?

Our world is experiencing a major crisis that is creating fear, confusion, and economic loss among many people. However, could this crisis be a much needed wake-up call for you that actually pushes you toward the calling God has for you? God doesn't create crises to show us our visions, but a crisis could help us refocus our calling and reveals to us what we already knew to be true about our calling. Pastoring at a Distance

Pastoring at a Distance

The current global crisis has caused many organizations, including churches, to pause in-person gatherings. This has caused many (if not all) local churches to move their services and ministries online during this temporary session, which has forced pastors to enter a new era of "pastoring at a distance." Well, I have been pastoring at distance for the past six years, and the Holy Spirit has led me to share some of my experience to help local pastors make this transition. If you are a local pastor who finds yourself pastoring at distance, listen to this short message to help you in this time of transition. Also, if you know a local pastor, please share this with him or her.

Pandemics can't stop God's calling on your life

Pandemics can't stop God's calling on your life

If God called you to do it, then a pandemic can't stop your calling. Yes, the calling may come under attack or have temporary setbacks, but it cannot be stopped. However, if what you are doing is not from God, then a pandemic or any other trials will crush your efforts. Therefore, it is critical for us to be clear about and focus on our calling so that we can move forward regardless of the circumstances around us. Links: March Gathering Partnership

Fear causes you to lose focus

As an entrepreneur, your biggest asset is your focus. Consistent focus over a significant period of time will bring success. However, if you lose your focus, then success is slow or may never come at all. The biggest enemy to focus is fear. Fear will cause you to lose focus and thus, cause you to fail at your calling. Therefore, we cannot afford to allow the fear that has entered the hearts of many during this time to infect us. Links: March Gathering Partnership

A reminder about the Word for 2020

A reminder about the Word for 2020

At the beginning of each year, God shares with me a concept that He desires for those who are connected with Church for Entrepreneurs to focus on for that entire year. For 2020, the concept is “Clarity.” In today's Faith Chat, I want to remind you about this word so you can experience unprecedented levels of success in 2020. Word from God: We are entering a year, where the callings that I have placed inside of my people will be accelerated and those who know their calling, accept it and execute it will experience unprecedented levels of success. 2020 is the year of clarity. There are no titles in entrepreneurship (Faith Chat)

There are no titles in entrepreneurship (Faith Chat)

Titles such as manager, director, and CEO are coveted after in business and are conveyed as a form of human recognition of your efforts and success. As I was scrolling through Facebook today, I noticed how a few of my friends have these titles. And, honestly, I got a little jealous and depressed because I don't have one of those titles. However, Holy Spirit reminded me that in entrepreneurial endeavors led by God, there are no titles conveyed by man. The only titles we have are that of "starter" and a final title awarded to us by God of "well done, my faithful steward. " Listen to today's faith chat, and let's explore this idea together. Receiving instructions is a main purpose of prayer

Receiving instructions is a main purpose of prayer

In Jesus' life, when He prayed, He was not really requesting healing for people or asking for financial miracles; He was seeking and receiving instructions. Listen to today's Daily Word and learn more about this important application of prayer, so you can receive the instructions you need for your calling.

Marriage is not easy

Today I am wrapping up this week's marriage series by letting Holy Spirit flow through me to share what is in God's heart for our marriages. This message had no script. It was a free flow of Holy Spirit. A major theme that emerged was that marriage is not easy and that it requires a level of maturity to live a married life, but God is here to help us. I pray that this week's series and today's message are a blessing to your marriage (or future marriage).

Entrepreneurship should not be a replacement for spousal affection (Faith Chat)

Many married entrepreneurs who feel as if they don't love their spouses the way they used to or that they are not receiving the affection they desire from their spouses use entrepreneurship as a replacement. This is very easy to slip into, and if left unchecked, it will result in divorce.  God has not called us to entrepreneurship so we can replace what we are missing in our marriage.  Listen to today's Faith Chat to explore this concept more.

Your feelings can discern your calling

Your feelings can discern your calling

As believers, we downplay our feelings and treat them like a bad guide. We do this because many of us have been taught not to trust our feelings. However, God created our feelings, just like He created our body and spirit, so why would we throw away something He created? Instead of throwing our feelings away, let's learn to use them. A born again believer who studies and meditates the Word consistently can trust their feelings as a guide to discern their calling.

What's the "Love of Money"

The Bible teaches us that the love of money is the root of all evil, but what does that really mean? Does it mean we should give all our money away and live a very modest life? Does it mean we shouldn't devise plans to make money from our businesses? Well, we need to find out, because our understanding of this Bible concept affects our entire life and success in our calling. Pursuing profits is moral and noble

Pursuing profits is moral and noble

What holds most Christians in business back from maximal success is this nagging question in the back of their mind: Is pursuing money okay? This uncertainty has them charging less money than they should or wanting to give their products and services away for free. Due to worldly and churchly pressures, we are inundated with messages that say making money is bad, from Hollywood to the Pulpit. They see the pursuit of profit in business as a necessary evil at best, and at worst they see pursuing profit as taking from society and the poor. There are very few things that the world and the church agree on, and it seems like that they both have deemed pursuing profit as bad. However, this thought process will hold you back from fulfilling what God has called you to do in business. To combat this wrong and destructive thought process, in today’s Daily Word, learn why pursuing profit is both moral and noble.

The Lord has need of money coming to you now

The Lord has need of money coming to you now

For many believers, lack of financial stability is a hindrance to the calling God has given them. It is not a hindrance because God can't use us if we are in lack. However, in many cases, financial lack causes us to focus our time and creativity inwardly instead of outwardly. An inward-focused mind is in the wrong position to hear God for the fullness of the vision. Therefore, in the Bible, we see many times how God provides for people's personal financial needs first, and then they step into a major area of their vision. Listen to today's Daily Word to learn more about this idea and discover why the Lord has the need of money coming to you now.

As Christians, we are conditioned to charitably give things away; therefore, many Christians who run businesses feel weird and uneasy about selling their products or services in exchange for money. This awkwardness may lead us to under price or give away too much, which can bring about frustration and eventually cause us to go out of business. To succeed in your business, you need a paradigm shift in selling. Because selling stuff for money is a blessed activity. Listen to today's Daily Word and renew your mind through the Word of God about selling.
