Write & Grow Rich: How & When To Use a Book to Supersize Your Happiness, Social Impact & Bank Account - Vancouver - Canada's Podcast
Join Host, Angela Faye on Canada’s Podcast speaking to Kimberley Day (http://www.kimberleyday.com) about the mindset and practical steps you can take to "Write & Grow Rich"
Because YOU are the #1 low cost, high return asset that 95% of entrepreneurs forget to capitalize on. And, if you want to position yourself as the go-to expert in your industry, stand out from the crowd against your competition, and get new customers coming to you on autopilot, then your business needs a book with your name on the cover!
If you have a compelling value proposition that can positively impact people you serve but are missing the tool to connect with them. You find yourself as 1 of 5 others in the ‘same room’ offering almost the same thing. Or if you have ever found yourself struggling or miserable working with a less than ideal client...this is for you!
And yes, knowing this was a problem for MOST coaches, consultants and service-based entrepreneurs, Kimberley Day changed the course of her own business to help others overcome the daily struggle of finding their next client, stand out from the crowd in their industry, & increase visibility, credibility & authority by publishing a book. For 13 years she was one of usually a dozen financial advisors at every networking event, struggling to compete for clients in an overcrowded and skeptical market.
After publishing her first book, the "Financial Fitness Playbook: The Ultimate Guide to Winning the Money Game", she was able to double her income in less than 12 months using the same strategies she now teaches in her new book and signature program.

Matt Diteljan, CEO of Glacier explains how influencer marketing works as a strategy to reach key younger demographics - Calgary - Canada's Podcast
An accomplished entrepreneur, Matt Diteljan is the CEO of Glacier, a Calgary-based marketing and advertising company that works with North American universities, colleges, and governments to reach Gen Z and Millennials. Matt and his company made headlines late last year when their influencer campaign with the University of Missouri caught the attention of the New York Times and other major outlets.
A University of Calgary grad, Matt founded Glacier in 2013. His company has grown beyond its humble Canadian roots, amassing an impressive client roster including big names such as Vancouver Film School, Texas A&M, Los Angeles Community College District and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Now a year into these trying times, Matt and his team have been working with their clients to implement influencer marketing as a strategy to reach key younger demographics. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, politicians and distinguished educators to communicate the importance of masks and washing hands, the message often falls on deaf ears. Now, vaccines own the headlines – how can governments and healthcare providers ensure accurate information reaches the right audiences and more importantly, positively influences behavior?

The Importance of Embracing a Non-Linear Path to Success with Sahar Saidi - Toronto - Canada's Podcast
Sahar Saidi is the Founder and CEO of LUS Brands, a direct-to-consumer premium hair care brand for curly hair. Sahar completed her MBA at the University of Toronto and upon graduation applied for several corporate executive jobs, but had no success. Driven by motivation and a personal challenge, she decided to embark on a different path, one that would lead her to become the CEO of her own company.
The problem Sahar set out to fix was truly personal. "Growing up, I used to hate my curly hair. I would always beg my mom to straighten it. I finally started to embrace my hair’s natural texture when I was around 15 years old. Fast forward 20 years and having tried virtually every product on the market, I still had not found anything that actually worked," she explains, on the why behind starting LUS. "I used to spend hours every single day doing my hair, and needed multiple products. I was tired of it and wanted to create a true ‘All-in-One’ product that simplified my hair care routine."
Sahar wanted to prove to other entrepreneurs that you can start from nothing and bootstrap your way to a hyper-growth, profitable business. "It took blood, sweat and many tears (literally) to get the company to where it is today," says Sahar, "but it’s definitely the accomplishment that I’m most proud of, so far in my life."
Based in Toronto, LUS Brands launched in January 2017 offering a 3-step system product line, customized for different curl types. The brand has since added 3 new products to its line. LUS (which stands for ‘Love Ur Self’) encourages women of all ages and ethnicities to embrace their own natural and unique features, instead of altering or masking them.

After seeing a need for more hands-on education for kids to explore science, technology, engineering, art and math subjects (#STEM), they decided to bring IDEA Lab Kids, a household international franchise, to the Greater Toronto Area. At the time, both men were on their own career journeys. Raza in real estate, Meghani in accounting and education. But they both saw a need and demand in the market for premium #STEAM education. So they bought the rights to become area developers for all of #GTA and now after 2 years, have sold 2 locations (Richmond Hill and Oakville) that are up and running and 2 more scheduled to open in 2021 (in Pickering and Stouffville). The duo now plans to open up 15 locations in Toronto through strategic franchise expansion.
Raza and Meghani still hold their full-time jobs but have carved out time on the weekends, evenings and every other hour of free time to work on IDEA Lab Kids and expand it further. They discuss why they chose to fuel this concept in a crisis, and how they will help the community. IDEA Lab Kids' CEO Devina Bhojwani can discuss bigger picture plans the brand has to continue pivoting and growing across Canada.
